People in my opinion, should avoid using the platform they are given for one thing, and using it to influence another. In other words, Bill Clinton should have enough character to not use his position as former president of the USA to get a high profile gig playing saxophone for a major touring band anymore than Madonna should use her platform she has earned by writing crappy pop music to get people to vote for her choice.

This event leads me to make a highly peculiar conclusion.

That Bill Clinton has more character than Madonna.

Also, that South Park, as it so often does, really nails it with near supernatural insight.

NEW ORLEANS –  Madonna drew boos and triggered a walkout by several concertgoers after she touted President Barack Obama on her “MDNA Tour” in New Orleans.

The Material Girl asked during Saturday night’s performance: “Who’s registered to vote?” She added: “I don’t care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama.”

Think of the number of men not currently sure of their orientation that will run screaming to the gay side if they got a look at Madonna naked. For the love of the future of the human race vote Romney and prevent a naked Madonna.
