I fear that neither Atheism nor Christianity is able to deal with the threat.

Egypt’s (indigenous) 10 million Coptic Christians have been threatened with mass extermination by Islamists in retaliation for the rumored involvement of a Copt in the making of the anti-Islamic film, “Innocence of Muslims.”
They will use any excuse to exterminate Christians -the genocide of Christians in Sudan is one recent example . The West’s leftist/communist media ignored that mass massacre, as it was only Christians being killed. If it had been a dozen Muslim killed by Israel of Serbs, there would have been an uproar in the media, specially the BBC.
The left in the west is determined to destroy the west so they can create a left wing utopia, the Moslems are determined to conquer the world. Both sides hate the idea of the nation state. For these reasons the two groups are working together to destroy the west while preparing to stab each other in the back.
