According to the Lebanese news organization Tayyar.org, citing AFP news sources, U.S. ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens, who was killed by gunmen that stormed the U.S. consulate in Benghazi on Tuesday, was reportedly raped before being murdered. A google translation of the report says :

  1. I do not agree with the thesis that this attack was a result of an amateur video about Mohammed. The attack must have been planned, and that takes some time. The attack took place on 9/11, so there has to be another motive, quite apart that it always is good for Islam to attack the Great Satan. It was planned as a way of breaking away from America, so that no gratitude need be shown to the US for deposing of Gaddafi. No Muslim can be made to feel gratitude to dhimmis – it is totally unacceptable.

  3. Caroline Glick: The 9/11 attacks on the US embassies were not about a movie

    Here are a couple of facts:

    On June 4 the White House confirmed that the US had killed Abu Yahya Al-Libi – OBL’s Libyan lietenant who had moved into Al Qaeda’s #2 spot after Ayman Zahawiri after the Navy SEALs whacked OBL.

    On Tuesday 9/11, a tape was released of Zawahiri announcing that Libi had been killed earlier this year by a US drone attack. The Zawahiri tape was made during Ramadan which ended in the middle of last month. Zawahiri called for his terrorist underlings to avenge Libi’s death and especially exhorted Libyans to take revenge.

    The attack in Libya was well planned and executed. It wasn’t about a spontaneous protest against some ridiculous internet movie of Muhammad. The assailants came armed to the teeth, with among other things, RPG 7s. They knew that the US Ambassador was in Benghazi rather than Tripoli. They knew how to track his movements, and were able to strike against him after he and his colleagues left the consulate building and tried to flee in a car. As Israel Channel 2’s Arab Affairs Correspondent Ehud Yaari noted this evening, you don’t often see well trained terrorists participating in protests of movies.

    Then there is the attack in Cairo. They were led by Mohammad Zawahiri – Ayman Zawahiri’s brother. According the Thomas Josclyn in the Weekly Standard, the US media has been idiotically presenting him as some sort of moderate despite the fact that in an interview with Al Jazeerah he said said, “We in al Qaeda…”

    Egypt’s US supported Muslim Brotherhood President Mohamed Morsi recently released Zawahiri from Egyptian prison. The same Barack Obama who has no time in his schedule to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu next week in New York, is scheduled to meet Morsi.

    The Egyptian government has not condemned the attack on the US Embassy in Cairo. But Morsi is demanding that the US government prosecute the film’s creator.

    You may be wondering how some movie no one’s heard of has caused such a hullabaloo. Well, as it turns out, the film was screened on an Egyptian Salafist television channel. Obviously the Salafists — many of whom, like Zawahiri were released from prison by Morsi, wanted to stir up anti-US violence on the eve of 9/11. So if the film is responsible for the violence, a finger needs to be pointed to its chief distributor — Al Qaida’s Egyptian friends and members.

    With these facts in hand, it is clear that the attempts to present these acts of war against the US as the consequence of some stupid nothing movie are obscene attempts to deflect the blame for these unwarranted attacks onto their victims and away from their perpetrators.

    1. NPR reported the filmaker was not jewish or israeli like he told the Wall Street Journal he was – but an ARAB. That indicates that this is a Reichstag fire type hoax. They very well could have had the movie made in order to protest against it.

    2. Atlas Shrugs just posted a video showing gunmen at the Libyan embassy saying to each other “don’t shoot! We’re from Morsi!” implying that at least one group of gunemen were working for the Egyptian president.

    3. These people are never honest about why they attack and their attacks have multiple goals. This could have to do with Morsi’s recent public declaration that the US has to release the Blind Shiek, who had been the spiritual leader of the turds who attempted the first WTC bombing. He is coming to the whitehouse shortly and I’m sure the subject will be brought up.

    So all this crap could have been a way to put pressure on Obama to release the Blind Shiek. It’s not the only goal but I think it was definately one of the goals of this.

    I just now read that someone at the Weekly standard agrees with me. They think it has to do with the Blind Shiek too! So I thought I’d better come back and have a well deserved gloat before it becomes old news.

    Apparently the protests were planned by Gamaa Islamiya before anyone heard of the movie. The blind shiek was once the leader of those grotty terrorist scum.

    They’re an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood (like Al Quada) that assassinated Sadat and commited the massacre at Luxor.

    Their current leader is the muhamad al zawahiri*, the brother of ayman al zawahiri*, the head of Al Quada. President Morsi released him from prison a while ago. He was one of the organizers of this protest.

    The release of the blind shiek has been a big issue for Gamaa Islamiya and Al Quada for a long time-

    KINDA INTERESTING THAT PRESIDENT MORSI CALLED FOR IT RECENTLY. Now we know who’s side he’s on (as if we didn’t already)

    I had forgotten about the blind sheikh. He was the mastermind of the first attack on WTC. He is also an Egyptian- though that does not matter, as he is a Muslim first.

    Muslims will always the bite the hand that feeds them, as they ahve to show that Musl;ims and Isla are the boss. So it is that dhimmis were clouted on the head after they had payed the Jizya. America payed the “Jizya” to AQ and MB, thinking they would be accepted by Muslims. Instead, and quite predictably, they have been clouted.

  9. What I hope is that we learn from this embassy disaster, and stop destabilising Syria. If America succeeds in destabilising Syria, hundreds of thousands of Christians in Syria, and refugees from Iraq, will have no where to go.

    I also hope that Americans learn from the disaster they voted for in 2008 (Carter Mark 2), and get rid of this bum asap. If they dont, then what happened to ambassador Christopher Stevens and the embassy, will happen a lot more often. Eventually, the US will have nothing to offer but itself in the final payment of Jizya- after it has sacrificed Israel of course.

  10. Following Caroline Glick’s article, it is becoming clear, that the attack on the embassy was a planned affair, even to the extent of having a ready made casus belli – the Mohammed video. Then the attack could be blamed on the West for causing offence to Muslims. This is also standard practice – offensive Jihad cannot take place unless sanctioned by the caliph. As there is no caliph, Jihad has to be defensive, which is the reason they will feed to the ulemma.

    It is interesting that Egypt’s president Morsi’s first instinct was to demand an apology from the US.
