And why not. Maybe its time the Islamic community had a little diversity of culture rubbed in its face for a change. If we do not demand our own culture, I think many people are starting to see now, we will lose it. Whether it is having a damn soft drink or a cigarette or walking a dog, the intolerant segments of our society will work three shifts to ban it for whatever reason they can make fly.
I hope any and all Toronto residents who read this site join this march even if you don’t have a dog. Just go and show support. It will be your rights next even if it is the right to a ham sandwich in a public building as Muslims are not content to simply not eat pig meat but are determined to see to it that you do not as well wherever they might happen to be.

TORONTO – A Facebook event has been launched inviting people to walk their dogs outside an east-end mosque during Islamic prayer sessions.
The call to action was launched to protest a man being arrested while walking his English mastiff at an anti-Israel rally at Queen’s Park last Saturday.
The Facebook page encourages people to bring dogs “of all colours and breeds” to the Salahuddin mosque in the city’s east end on Sept. 14.
On Saturday, a Jewish man was arrested while his dog near a rally held outside Queens Park by an Islamic group marking Al-Quds Day, a yearly event calling for the destruction of Israel and the establishment of a Palestinian state.
Allan Einstoss, a Jew who opposes the Al-Quds doctrine, showed up at the rally with his big-yet-friendly English mastiff, Cupcake. After Einstoss was allegedly told by an Al-Quds demonstrator to keep the dog away, he claims to have been punched in the chest by another. When Einstoss pushed back, he was handcuffed and held by Toronto police.
It is often believed that the ordinary man is ignorant and sometimes that is the case, but what the pseudo-intellectuals of the Left don’t realise is that what the common man lacks in intellect, he makes up for in spades of common sense, something that the Left is seriously short of. Besides who is to say what defines a common man these days? Your average citizen can be just as well informed as your intellectual, sometimes more so.
This is why the dangers of Islam and multiculturalism are recognized by the ordinary people more than the blinkered, self-opinionated PC idiots, especially as the ordinary citizens are having to live with it more and more.
It is the people who are now saying that enough is enough. It’s payback time. I hope that the good citizens of Toronto turn out in their droves to this event and give the meddling Left combined heart attacks. It’s time for all Western citizens everywhere to start claiming their nations back and start fighting for the truth. Islam is an evil menace and the Leftist enablers are treacherous accomplices. I’m hoping that the tide is turning and that for the first time in decades, common sense will actually become the new black!
Just thinking. These marches with dogs might help the police. So many on the left often refer to Police Officer as ‘pigs’. Now, They’re all going to be confused since they can’t use the word around Islamist demonstrations for fear of ‘offending’ them. By all means, walk your dogs around a mosque, or two. This is still Canada and a ‘Free’ country. It would be nice to see a few farmers joining in with some pigs on a leash . . .
I think this is a FABULOUS idea! One thing occurred to me though – I DO HOPE that all dog owners will bring plastic bags or pooper-scoopers to clean up any and all “mess”. Let us not give them any other “ammunition!” with which to complain about. After all, we don’t want to descend to their level.
Couper I would like to add to that, make SURE no one allows their dogs to eat anything they find on the ground. Increasingly in muslim areas dogs are being poisoned in public parks.
It is the common people who will save Western Civilization, the pseudo intellectuals will continue to live in their delusions, and after we have made the world safe for their delusions once again they will accuse us of crimes.
Eeyore: I would also like to add that dog owners must make sure that their dogs DO NOT BITE any Muslims to ensure that the dogs remain free of any disease.
I would love to see thousands of dogs there. If I could, I would drive to Toronto from the U.S., with my dog, of course, to join in.

Actually I would say we need a Yathrib liberation day. After all, that city was actually built by Jews and Christians and then Mohamed and his gang of thugs turned on the leaders of that city which sheltered him, killed them all and took it over.

That is a good idea also, in fact we need a day to call for the liberation of all of the nations and cities that the Moslems have conquered.
I mentioned to a Muslim once that the infidels will take back mecca and medina. He was not happy. He told all his friends and one of them took me to task but I did not care. One day we will take back Yathrib. It is pagan.I believe some Hindus actually believe that the Kaaba was a temple dedicated to Shiva! I am not sure about this but I know the Jews were definitely in Medina or Yathrib. It is their home turf. Yathrib liberation day has been waiting for centuries and now is the time to make it come true as a day and eventually as a reality.
I think the Kaaba was the building that all of the religions in Arabia brought either stones or idols to represent their gods, Mohammad’s family ran it and when he wanted to destroy all idols except the stone for Allah his family lead the campaign driving him from Mecca.
