NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police are investigating an unusual bias crime on Staten Island.
Muslims who gathered for prayer to celebrate the end of Ramadan in a city park found bacon scattered on the ground, CBS 2’s John Slattery reported Monday.
With Ramadan ending this past weekend, Muslims celebrated the end of fasting with prayer. On Staten Island an outdoor service was held Sunday on a New Dorp football field, attracting some 1,500 Muslims.
But before most of the faithful arrived for Morning Prayer, it was discovered that someone had scattered a quantity of raw bacon on the field.
How dare they insult pigs like that. I am offended!
This is so ridiculous. Think how much money this costs taxpayers every time Muslims are offended by something.
Why did they come here if they hate pigs? I include dogs in that, too. I suppose they want us to ban them from the country.
Let’s see how long it takes for CAIR to get involved.

Who gives a flying fork if they’re offended or not, they always seem to be offended by one thing or another especially the presence of non-muslims. We need to start ignoring their complaints and playing deaf when they whine. Why the hell should we care about their super sensitive feelings? Despite what their overblown egos tell them, they’re nothing special? (spits in derision)

There is something about this sorry story that does not add up. The only sensible solution then is: Let that “someone” who actually Scattered the Raw bacon gather it all back up and put it in the rubbish bin. Better luck next time!

Probably true. I thought New York was starting to install cameras like London although not as many? May be there is a chance of catching CAIR.
It might be easier just to have OI follow them & capture the crap they do on video.
That would shut them down somewhat I get public opinion against them
It is a hate crime when Muslims make disparaging & sexual comments to Western women.
That should be prosecuted 1st.
The truth is that the Muslims of CAIR are so thankful that they live in the U.S. they thank God/Allah every day that they live among Jews,Christians & atheists.
They could be living in Mali, Syria, Egypt, Iraq,Pakistan, Afghanistan or Iran.
The people who spread the bacon probably were Moslems, all of the other anti Moslem actions were committed by Moslems wanting to make us look bad.
They should have fried the bacon first. Who can resist the mouth-wateringly delicious aroma of fried bacon? Who knows? It could have led the Muslims to sin.
