General Masoud Jazayeri, the Deputy General Staff of the Islamic cultural Armed Forces stressed that many of the protesters both inside and outside Iran will be identified and has promised to deal with them both inside and outside Iran at the appropriate time.

At the time of the protests due to election results and IRA state newspaper Keyhan  reports on the elections; Mr. Jazayeri stated that any protests and complaints against the election results after the elections will be considered an act of “rebellion against the regime” and will be considered an “American-British coup”. And that these people will be identified for this issue of rebellion and will be dealt with in the proper time.

He also threatened that although the Islamic republic is patient, it cannot allow the planning of the overthrow of the regime or the orchestration of a soft coup by the rebels. So when forced, the regime has the ability to challenge the overseas coup seeking rebel groups, in a very serious manner.

He did not go into the details of the nature of this serious challenge.

Islamic Republic, especially in the first two decades of its inception has been charged with assassinating a number of prominent opposition figures abroad.

On a different note, Mr. Jazayari talked to the state media in regards to propaganda and interference by the western media on the anniversary of the siege of the American Embassy (the nest of spies of Great Satan). He warned and accused foreign media with creating a false atmosphere, negative propaganda and encouraging a number of Iranian citizens. He warned the west that at the end of each of their models of interference they will be lose-lose situation.

The Deputy General Staff of the Armed Forces warned Iranians living outside of Iran who support the protest movement, of a very serious challenge they will face. In a similar speech, the Chief of the Islamic Police Force, Ismail Ahmadi Moghaddam emphasized that” the Islamic forces will deal with any kind of movement that is meant to abolish the Islamic Republic, in a very serious manner”. He gave a warning to those Iranians who live outside of Iran that do not pay attention to Islamic laws.

Mr.Ahmadi Moghaddam said that some of these political movements involve the police force because the protestors want to disturb order and tranquility. “Iranians both residing inside and outside of Iran that are oblivious to the laws and want to involve themselves in gatherings; the police force will perform their due duty and will enforce the laws.”

Despite the implicit threats from the military and police forces against protesters both inside and outside of Iran, they refrained from explaining any further.

But at the same time, the website “Basirat” (insight in Farsi, the online political agencies of the IRGC introduced five activities and a number of Iranians living outside of Iran as” the coup leaders of the Green Movement”.

According to material posted on the website “besides leading the  psychological warfare of orchestrating a coup inside Iran, Iranians abroad are also involved in propaganda and sabotage, and so they have brought attention to themselves.”

INTRODUCING 5 SUPPORTORS OF THE GREEN MOVEMENT

“Secular intellectuals, journalists, student activists, artists, Iranians who are citizens of other countries”, were all identified by the IRGC website as Green Movement supporters, following the post-election protests.  And for the fifth group; monarchists, experienced counter-revolutionaries, all opposition groups such as MKO and anti- revolutionaries were all also named as Green Movement supporters.

The political office of the IRGC has described and written of each and every one of these groups.  The first two groups are: The secular intellectuals who have fundamental conflicts with Islam and the Islamic Republic and who announce the Islamic Regime as paradoxical. All those journalists who were responsible for writing a chain of articles during the 2nd of Khordad (Persian month), are counted amongst the very first supporters of the Green Movement outside of Iran.

The student activists who have immigrated to other countries in the last ten years are amongst the third group of supporters of the Green Movement on the list mentioned.  He added that a group of radical student activists had been planning the student movement since July, 1999 (Persian 18 Tir 1378) for this year’s June post-election protests. And using the web they used their ideas to “cause much deviation and degeneration amongst the students which they had of course planned for years before the June protests are another group of  supporters of the movement after the election.

The political office of the IRGC has separated the “monarchists”, those who are known to be hostile, experienced revolutionaries and “known identified groups” who have been against the revolution for the last three decades from Iranians living abroad. He stressed “the faces of this fourth group”, which are Iranians outside Iran, are most often those who have benefited from the revolution and have borrowed the salt shaker, used up the salt and then have broken the shaker! They have betrayed the Islamic Revolution.

In this report, with emphasize on Mir-Hossein Musavi, Mehdi Karubi before and after the elections, he claimed that “the counter revolutionary position of these groups was in no way criticized by Musavi, Karubi or Khatami. Looking at it this way, it can be written that the coup orchestrating position of the Iranians living abroad is the fault of the Green Coup leaders inside Iran; the Musavi, Karobi and Khatemi attack.

According to the political office of the IRGC, the law of Islamic Republic,” does not allow the explicit expression of opinions”  by opposition candidates and the leaders of the Green Movement. “The branch of Iranians who live outside of Iran in the safety of the country they live in, speak these very opinions through the Western world”.
