The two men, one a former accountancy student, had travelled to a religious school to study Islam but took up arms in Yemen’s increasingly bloody civil war, their friends and relatives told the Daily Telegraph.

They were killed fighting rival shia Muslims in the mountains around the small town of Dammaj in Northern Yemen, according to one report.

It comes as Jonathan Evans, the director general of MI5, warned that Yemen has become a destination for a small number of British “would-be jihadis” seeking to use the Arab Spring for training and militant activity.

The father of one of the men said he considered his son to be “shaheed” [a martyr] and his whole family had been inspired to adopt fundamentalist Islam.

  1. British Passport Holder, I like that idea. We have too many ‘citizens’ who despise this country and are British in name only, due to an accident of birth or immigration. This idea allows the possibility of taking away that passport, if the holder demonstrates their treachery or rejection of British laws and values.

  2. Endemic racism is infecting all walks of British society. It is a well known fact that British education is a home of institutional racism. The immigrant children are victims of bullying and racism. Muslim children suffer more than other children.

    British schooling is not only the home of institutional racism but also British teachers are chicken racist. This is one of the main reason why Muslims, Hindus and Sikh communities have been setting up their own schools with their own teachers. Even Black community is thinking of setting up its own schools with Black teachers.

    It is absurd to say that institutional racism is dead. It is still alive in the form of Islamophobia. . One of the deepest expressions of institutional racism affecting immigrant communities, and one that has been long documented is the unequal treatment of their children by the education system. They are motivated, but knocked back by their experiences of the school system. They are often treated more harshly and viewed with lower teacher expectation on the basis of teachers’ assumptions about their motivation and ability.

    None of the British Muslims convicted following the riots in Bradford and Oldham in 2001 or any of those linked to the London bombings had been to Islamic schools. An American Think Tank studied the educational back ground of 300 Jihadists; none of them were educated in Pakistani Madrasas. They were all Western educated by non-Muslim teachers. Bilingual Muslim children need bilingual Muslim teachers as role models. A Cambridge University study found that single-sex classes could make a big difference for boys. They perform better in single-sex classes. The research is promising because male students in the study saw noticeable gains in the grades. The study confirms the Islamic notion that academic achievement is better in single-sex classes.

    Muslim children are vicitm of institutional racism in schools. In the job market, they are again vicitim of racism and discrimination because native Brits are given preference. I know many Muslim graduates who were not appointed because the employers found their own graduates. The employers do not make their selection on merits. As far as promotion is concerned, again the Muslim employee do not get promotion. If Muslim youths are discriminated at all levels of society, what do you expect from them? British passports and citizenship is nothing to do with Muslim youths. It is just a travel document. In the 70s I drove to Pakistan with a British passport and at the border of every country, I was asked where I am from? I have to tell them that I am from Pakistan. At Afghanistan border, I was told by the immigration officer that Furngi has left your country 30 years ago and still you carry British passport. We were talking in Urdu and not in English.

  3. Yeah it is good to see them die for Allah while killing other muslims. They do find that a lot easier. Lets face it the project of taking over the world for Allah is difficult and it does often mean that they, the muzzies, can not even take over the brown Caucasian race. This brown on brown violence is of course to be welcomed. It spares the black, white and mongoloid races from this Supremacist brown man of the Arabian desert ideology. By and large these races are only involved in the brown man of the desert ideology and remain for the most part pure. The Mongoloids are especially blessed. You can travel for hundreds of miles in China and not find a single mosque.

  4. I A you are either a student or an not too bright if you think throwing some boring stats about instit., racism works in your favour. First hindus and other minorities have not blown up or asked for special rights as muslims do. Why?? because they work within the democratic system unlike muslims who must fight against democracry because it is not the word of your god. Also in your book of peace you demand Jhad against all non muslims (although most muslims are killed by muslims). This is fact. The reality is the bombings and the like are not carried out by poor muslims who are disenfranchished but middle class muslims-the two killed where not poor or uneducated.
    And lastly check out where there is little or no democracy. I let you guess which religion is in charge. Also check out how their GDP is and if you would lke to live there.
    What you want is a separate system of muslims and dhimmies. In time you will wipe out the dhimmies. Good plan I guess but you may find out people are waking up to your thinking.

  5. Bilingual Muslims children have a right, as much as any other faith group, to be taught their culture, languages and faith alongside a mainstream curriculum. More faith schools will be opened under sweeping reforms of the education system in England. There is a dire need for the growth of state funded Muslim schools to meet the growing needs and demands of the Muslim parents and children. Now the time has come that parents and community should take over the running of their local schools. Parent-run schools will give the diversity, the choice and the competition that the wealthy have in the private sector. Parents can perform a better job than the Local Authority because parents have a genuine vested interest. The Local Authority simply cannot be trusted.

    There are hundreds of state primary and secondary schools where Muslim pupils are in majority. In my opinion all such schools may be opted out to become Muslim Academies. This mean the Muslim children will get a decent education. Muslim schools turned out balanced citizens, more tolerant of others and less likely to succumb to criminality or extremism. Muslim schools give young people confidence in who they are and an understanding of Islam’s teaching of tolerance and respect which prepares them for a positive and fulfilling role in society. Muslim schools are attractive to Muslim parents because they have better discipline and teaching Islamic values. Children like discipline, structure and boundaries. Bilingual Muslim children need Bilingual Muslim teachers as role models during their developmental periods, who understand their needs and demands.

    All people in Britain should become bilingual. Urdu is useful to everyone.
