President of World Yezidi Union, Aziz Tamoyan, has said that 500,000 Yezidis, as well as 1.5 million Armenians, were massacred by the Turks during 1915-1923.
Although the Armenian genocide is now widely recognized, outside of Turkey, the genocide of the Yezidis (sun worshippers) has long been ignored.

“Tamoyan visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial to the Armenian genocide victims on April 24. There he told PanArmenian.com that the world will “force” Turkey to acknowledge the Armenian Genocide.

Getting any Moslem nation to acknowledge that they have committed a crime is as hard as getting a liberal to admit their political leaders can’t work miracles.
