He is right, the people who are taking our freedom are the ones who claim they are doing this for our own goods, it is impossible to remove all risks from life and adults should be allowed to make the decision on which risks they are going to take. A prime example of this is the seat belt laws, by trapping people in wrecked cars when they burn they kill as many as they save.
