Why do I get the feeling that if they where indigenous British shop keepers they would be hauled off to jail for attempting to defend their own property? I guess cause that is what happens in the whole Western world now except the USA.

During the last round of riots in LA the owner of one gun store and his kids went down and sat on the roof with guns prominently displayed, there was no attack on the gun store. Then some police came by and force the owner and family to lock up the guns and leave the area, within an hour the store had been looted.
