The Bay department stores across Canada have been targeted by boycotters for carrying AHAVA Beauty Products from Israel. The store is under enormous pressure to drop the line.

It is URGENT that you visit your local Bay and purchase AHAVA products within the next 48 hours. Be sure to thank the store for carrying AHAVA.

BUYcott Israel Alert: Shop Lord and Taylor & Ahava

Calling all Boston & US BUYcott members. We need your help!

Code Pink is organizing a boycott event at Lord & Taylor, 760 Boylston St, Boston, on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, 1:00 – 2:00 pm. The boycott is aimed at Ahava products.

You know what to do! Hurry down to Lord and Taylor this week. Buy as much Ahava product as you can – it’s great for teacher and hostess gifts! Take a picture in the checkout line, or better still at a sold-out display shelf, and email it to in**@bu***********.ca or post it on our Facebook page.

In Montreal, when Ahava was targeted, BUYcotters sold out the entire stock at The Bay. Let’s show them that what worked in Montreal will work in Boston too!

Message from the Executive Director of the Quebec-Israel Committee, Luciano G. Del Negro:

You have most likely heard about the campaign to boycott the Montreal shoe store Le Marcheur, launched last month. This store has become the target of the little known anti-Zionist organization PAJU, who have been picketing its entrance Saturday afternoons simply because it sells an Israeli line of women’s shoes known as Beautifeel.

While the owner has shown every sign that he does not intend to give in to the vicious blackmail and harassment to which PAJU is subjecting him, we must show our solidarity with him and his team.

This is why we encourage you to support Le Marcheur by purchasing Beautifeel shoes or any other item in store. Le Marcheur is located at 4062 Saint-Denis (corner Duluth), in Montreal, Canada.

By supporting Le Marcheur, you will be sending a much more powerful message than any confrontation on the street with the boycotters.

To prevent damage to the owner’s interests and to rob the boycotters of the publicity they seek, we ask you to avoid shopping at the store while the picketers are present.
