I will post the relevant bit of the agenda of this site here for context:
The media in Canada, including some radio stations which typically are not of politically correct views, have become so careful in the manner in which they report actual news that it has become understood that if a crime is committed by a black person, the listener will infer it as no description is given of a suspect at large other than gender. If the person is Islamic the listener will infer it as no name is given of a suspect or a person who has been arrested for the crime. In my opinion this does more harm to group relations than if all groups are treated equally. A seething contempt is the usual result of treating a group as if it’s special before the law.
Let me put this more simply. The media has become so afraid of charges from both governments and various activist groups, mostly Islamic ones that they no longer even report actual news.
One of the reasons I decided to go forth with this blog is a fear I have had for a very long time. The fact that since Multiculturalism as an idea was advanced into actual policy, political correctness of the type I list above will result in a newly revived extreme and irrational right wing movement which will gain popular support as governments drift farther and farther from representing the peoples of western nations, their values, and their views. Of course this will be, as historically it always is, a case of the cure bieng worse than the disease.
After searching the net I did find this on another CTV page. On the description,
York Regional Police released the descriptions of three suspects on Monday, asking anyone with information to contact investigators.
The first suspect is described as a male, black, between 28 and 33 years old. He is medium height and has a medium build, and was last seen with long dreadlocks and wearing dark clothing.
The second suspect is described as a 31-year-old black male of medium height, with a thin build. He was last seen with a bandana covering his face and wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt.
The third suspect is described as a thin male who spoke with a Caribbean accent.
Look at this wonderful JW article
Oh, let them impose the buffer zone. Let the Iranians deliver weapons, including missiles to shoot down Saudi planes. Let Saudi planes be shot down. Let Saudi Arabia, with its waddling princes and its unmerited trillions, and its absurd pretensions – a primitive society based entirely on oil revenues, and on the work of foreign, chiefly Infidel, wage-slaves – be occupied with that. The Western world should show no great interest in helping Saudi Arabia. It should be secretly delighted with each day’s news, the news that brings word not of Infidel casualties, but of Muslim casualties, inflicted by other Muslims. And the showdown in Iraq, that is surely coming, between Sunni Arabs (who will never accept their new, inferior status) and the Shi’a Arabs (who will never yield any of the power they have now acquired thanks to the deposing of Saddam Hussein by the Americans) is likely only to exacerbate Shi’a-Sunni tensions and war in the Yemen.
No one was paying much attention, back in the 1960s, to the war in Yemen. I did, because for a short time, in Madrid, I shared living quarters with a most unsavory Belgian who ran guns to the “Royalists” and was as big a crook as you can imagine. But it was, from the viewpoint of Infidels, a good war. It was not as good a war as the eight-year war that took up the attention of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and of Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, and caused both sides to expend men, money, materiel for eight wonderful years. And if this new war continues, and does not exhaust itself soon, with too decisive a victory over the Houthis, no one in our world, in Dar al-Harb, should worry about this, or think things should be done to stop it. Let it go on. Let it go on, forever.
The report is similar to the fluff and PC crap we are fed by the MSM in the US.
The Mainstream Media are so twisted up in self-imposed restraints now that they should seriously consider just giving up. Don’t you just love it when they get their beautiful, noble faces all serious-looking, then rev you up for ten seconds about how “this might not be suitable for all members of your family”, and you’re all ready for the Hindenburg disaster, and then they cut to nothing – of a pile of cloth, some Taliban-looking guy in the distance, yellow police tape, a van going by – all heavily pixilated. They are so busy thinking of ways of concealing the truth from you that, as this video points out, that they sometimes wind up accidentally revealing the truth through their lie-patterns. No description might mean black, no name, Arab, in France youth means Muslim, in Britain Asian means Pakistani. I think the Gulf War in 1990 led to great advancements in the field of journalistic concealment. Remember that green-tinged loop of the mushroom-shaped mosque with the tracer bullets flying over it? Then they’d cut to the F-14 idling on the tarmac? The frantic set-up, the exciting music-24/7. It took me days to get a grip and figure out that they were showing nothing, that there was going to be no coverage whatsoever of the Gulf War. Nothing happened. The world kept spinning. We all just sort of took it. What else are you going to do…shoot your TV like Elvis? If it’s taking this long for the folks to figure out they’re being lied to, it’s anybody’s guess how long it might take them to get un-mad at the other end. And they may not be nice, liberal, tolerant, gay-friendly, environmentally conscious, live-and-let-live right-wingers, like me and Dick Cheney. Oh, no…picture “The Deliverance Hillbillies”. How’d that theme song go?
The MSM is finding that their single viewpoint reporting is driving away their viewers and subscribers, they are now going crazy trying to figure out how to keep a single viewpoint reporting and a large audience.
Yes, I think it was clear to me many many years ago, luckily for me I was able to travel to various places where there were world published events going on at the time and then just back to Canada in time to see how it was reported in Canada and US, throughout, newspapers, radio, tv, and the comparison of what actually was happening there as a witness, (ie, central america, various countries), (Thailand- one of the many revolts over several decades ago)
It was a real eye opener and since then it has gotten much worse, obviously why the internet has become so popular and talk shows, even comedy news shows, where intelligent individuals seek to find the essence and the facts, cold hard facts, of most incidents…Trying to conclude anything from news, newspapers, is just a joke….Reporters have become the providers of opinions, theirs only, and of course there is the mediocracy of the middle of the road for all the corporate stations, I prefer ctv anyday to the brainwashing philosophy of cbc………….ctv is at least allowing us to read between the lines, with cbc, there is only one red line
PS, I just read your statement, and obviously I enjoy how you present your material, as well as allowing for comment. I feel so sad and sickened almost every day now about what is happening ….it feels good to know that at least a few others are able to see, and have an awareness of what the crucial issues of our times really are, I mean there are many thinkers, writers, and bloggers but their influence at present is miniscule in relation to the whole scheme of things. But then I think back and recall, many many decades ago, when I supported the ANC and Nelson Mandela and spoke out against the institutionalized hate of the Apartheid state, and worked toward bringing awareness to other political parties about our environment, through grassroots work and being a founding member of the Greens in Alberta and Canada, and all those many years ago taking all the flack, being called extremist, radical, cracked, crazy, etc, subject to csis overviews at meetings etc, anyway, later many decades, to see all the environmental policies implemented in schools, municipalities, etc etc,
Keep up you great work, you must continue to bring awareness to the blind along with the small group of soldiers who fight in this war of enlightenment.. Happy to have your great blog to read and feeling overly sentimental after listening to the version of Flanders on BCF
