Funny that Bernard Goetz didn’t get a reward from the judge and the admiration of the court. I wonder why. I mean I know its another country but the US is famous for its admiration of those that defend themselves from criminals. Yet Goetz’s life has been hell ever since he defended himself from a gang of New York City muggers even up to yet another law suit by the people who tried to mug him within the past couple of years. Could it possibly be the racial hierarchy so well defined in modern identity politics?

Man mountain Martin Richardson crashed a chair over the head of gun man Azar Sulman
Confronted by a desperate robber carrying a handgun, most of us would simply get out of the way.
But not 48-year-old Martin Richardson. He’s 18-stone and powerfully built.
What’s more, at the time of this dramatic standoff, he was in a bad mood.
As these extraordinary CCTV pictures show, raider Azar Sulman quite simply picked on the wrong guy.
Father-of-six Mr Richardson stood his ground with his hands in his pockets before attacking Sulman, 20, with a chair.
After flooring the raider, Mr Richardson used a judo move to pin him to the ground and kept him there for seven minutes until police arrived.
Judge Scott Wolstenholme praised the have-a-go hero’s ‘tremendous courage’ and awarded him £250 during Sulman’s trial at Leeds Crown Court.
The robber was sent to a young offenders’ institution for six years.
Mr Richardson, in hospital yesterday after breaking his arm in a rugby match, is being recommended for a bravery award.
He admitted he had probably been a ‘bit stupid’ in tackling the robber, but did so because he was in a ‘bad mood’ after failing to win anything in the bookmakers.
He was in his local branch of William Hill in Leeds on January 28 when Sulman rushed in.
CCTV images show him threatening the cashier with his gun. Unknown to anyone at the time, it was a replica and he was handed some cash.

The burly father-of-six attacked Azar Sulman then sat on him for seven minutes while he waited for police to arrive
Mr Richardson realised what was happening and went to the door to check if there were accomplices waiting.
He then stood in the way, staring down the barrel of a gun. ‘He wanted me to open the door and kept shouting he would shoot me if I did not open it,’ he said.
‘I looked him in the eyes…he was just a few feet from me. I thought “if he shoots me he shoots me, but I am not opening the door”.

‘I lost it because I hate to be threatened. The adrenaline was running as I picked up the chair and smashed him twice with it, but once I had him down I started to shake because it hit home how dangerous it was.’
A former judo brown belt, he used a martial art hold to keep Sulman pinned down. He said the seven minutes waiting for police were ‘the longest of my life’.
‘To be honest I was probably a bit stupid doing what I did, but I was being threatened, as were the staff, and I wanted to stop the guy. I did, so it was worth it.’
The court heard it was Sulman’s fourth raid on the chain and the third on the same premises.
He was trying to fund a £200-a-week cannabis habit.
He admitted three robbery charges and one attempted robbery.
Trevor Wilkinson of William Hill, said Mr Richardson had done ‘fantastically well’ but pointed out to other would-be heroes ‘not everyone is built like Martin’.
Detective Inspector Neil Thompson, of West Yorkshire Police, praised Mr Richardson’s ‘courage and cool-headedness during what must have been an absolutely terrifying experience’.
Martin Richardson is a very brave man,and should have gotten more than 250 Pounds for getting garbage like that out of circulation. Bernard Goetz had the misfortune of being attacked in New York City, where the commie ACLU Lawyers line up to defend these career criminals. In other states like Texas and Florida the self defense laws are more realistic. Mr. Goetz’s attackers went right on with their criminal careers. Approximately 40 US states have some type of concealed carry permits, Leftist,Liberal NY is not one of them. Six years! What a crock in most US states repeat dirtbags can get 15 to 25 yrs.
Thank you. And yes I agree, the man who faced down this thug deserved the money and accolades and more. I suppose I am becoming overly cynical with all the absurdities I read, especially about England each and every day. It becomes hard even to see the good news without a jaundiced eye.

What a sad day for “community cohesion” (mahoundian impunity and immunity from British law, that is), isn’t it? I wonder if, for the sake of restoring balance to what Mr. Richardson “disturbed”, upcoming NuLabour leader David Dhimmiliband*** might propose an “Asian style” rematch between the hero of this story (with his arm still in the cast and sling, of course), versus dirtbag Sulman and 18 (or more) of its (not his) buddies.

Ship them all back. When they break the law, ship those criminals back, too.
Putting them in jail only gives Islam more potential converts, since most prisoners have a beef with the way things are in the first place.
That is why most Muslim criminals will pead guilty, admit their crimes and then find ready and willing converts to Islam’s evil in other prisoners.
Its happening so much in the US that neo-Nazi groups and other hate-filled gangs have set aside their differences to fight the common Islamic enemy.

The thing is in those 6 years away from society – the offender will not rehabilitate. These people never learn and will harbour a continuous grudge against society – seeing themselves as the oppressed victim. The solution is to make it very clear – and widely known – in all minority languages – that conviction for any serious offence means serving time in jail – and then immediate deportation back to the country of origin- the culture which failed to instill in its citizens worthwhile values. They can then realise their ideology simply does not work . They can deal with the problems they create and perpetuate – rather than having our societies ruined.
Too bad Mr. Richardson didn’t accidentally kill the arselifter.
