Israel: Iran’s Qom Nuke Facility Not For Civilian Use – Yadlin
November 3, 2009
Israeli military intelligence chief Maj.-Gen. Amos Yadlin said Iran’s nuclear facility near Qom has “no possible civilian use,” The Jerusalem Post reported Nov. 3. Yadlin said Iran is “competent in enrichment technology,” and he added that Israel wants to prevent any of Iran’s 3,000 centrifuges from being installed at the uranium enrichment facility near Qom. He also said Iran wants to be able to advance to nuclear weapons capability in the shortest possible period of time, once it decides to do so.
