Four Ottawa men face a slew of weapons charges after they were arrested in Toronto’s entertainment district Sunday night. Toronto police found a loaded “Tanfolio” 9-mm handgun and ammunition after stopping six men in a vehicle on Edward Street near Yonge Street at 10:45 p.m. Abdinasir Abdullahi, 22, Mohamed Warsame, 21, Abdirahman Ibrahim Hussein, 23, and Abdalla Abdi, 21, all of Ottawa, and Toronto’s Mohamed Siad, 23, are each charged with eight counts relating to the gun and ammunition. Abdullahi also faces two counts of breach of recognizance. In addition to the weapons charges, Mubarak Rirash, 20, of Toronto, is charged with possession of cocaine. All six men were to appear in Toronto court Monday morning.
