2. IS conflict: French raid in Syria ‘kills 12 child soldiers’

(BBC as usual frames a story so that any resistance to Islamic tyranny and horror looks like a horrible thing)

An activist group has said France’s first air strike on Islamic State (IS) militants in Syrian territory killed 30, including 12 child soldiers.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Sunday’s strike on an IS camp in eastern Syria had also wounded about 20 fighters.

French President Francois Hollande said on Sunday six jets had destroyed the camp in the province of Deir al-Zour.

France had previously limited its strikes on IS to Iraqi airspace.

4. Russia orders US aircraft out of Syrian Skies. US claims it will not comply.

Russia has demanded that American warplanes exit Syrian airspace immediately, a US official told Fox News on Wednesday.

The official said that Russian diplomats sent an official message to the US ordering American planes out of Syria, adding that Russian fighter jets were now flying over Syrian territory, according to the report.

US military sources told the news outlet that US planes would not comply with the Russian demand.

“There is nothing to indicate that we are changing operations over Syria,” a senior defense official told Fox.

The Russian parliament on Wednesday unanimously granted President Vladimir Putin the right to deploy the country’s military in Syria, a move a top Kremlin aide said related only to the air force.

5. Arrival of Muslim Refugees Change Brazil’s Inner Cities

COLLABORATION FOR FOLHA, IN PARANÁ

Refugees and migrants fleeing war and hunger in Asia, Africa and the Middle East are organizing themselves in multiethnic enclaves that have begun to redefine the culture, economy and demography in small cities in the interior of the state of Paraná.

The continuous arrival of muslims coming to work in the Halal slaughter has propagated sacred places for Islam in the state.

Thirteen cities in Paraná have mosques and nine have musallas (a type of chapel). Half of them opened in the last five years, a phenomenon driven by the coming diaspora of 18 countries.

In general, individuals who are denied entry into Europe are the ones who view Brazil as an alternative.

The majority enter the country with a refugee claim, not always recognized by the Brazilian government for lack of proof that they departed their country because of political, ethnic, or religious persecution or armed conflict.

However, since they are employed and have a fixed address, they will have their resident visa renewed.

6. WaPo: Unhinged Murderous Migrant Was ‘Handsome’ Man After A ‘New Beginning’

(And Charles Manson was a charismatic and brilliant musician who was just looking for a way to teach his followers how to write)

The Washington Post has published an article showing strong sympathy for a European migrant who murdered two innocent people with a knife, describing him as a “handsome man” in search of a “new beginning” before he was unfortunately sidetracked into mass murder.

Abraham Ukbagabir, a migrant from Eritrea, horrified Sweden last month when, without provocation, he attacked two people at an Ikea store and stabbed them to death, before turning the knife on himself in a failed suicide attempt. Ukbagabir has admitted perpetrating the crime, saying he was distressed over his impending deportation to Italy where his asylum claim was to be heard. Ukbagabir was accompanied to the Ikea by another Eritrean, Yohannes Mahari, who was arrested after the killings, but thus far has professed his innocence.

8. Ahmed Mohamed’s Qatari Vacation with the Muslim Brotherhood

The story of Ahmed Mohamed, the Dallas schoolboy made famous by the reaction to his arrest for bringing a homemade clock that resembled a suitcase bomb to school, has taken another curious turn. According to the Dallas Morning News, Ahmed and his family have accepted an invitation extended by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development to visit Qatar. Their sister institution, the Qatar Foundation International (QFI) was founded by Sheikh bin Al Thani, who also created Al Jazeera. QFI has links to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB).
