Belated minimalist post on trying to stop a mosque in Texas

It’s been extremely busy here for a couple of days.

Most guys like watching sports. I have tried it many times now and again over the years and could never find the excitement in it other guys have. This doesn’t mean I disrespect them, or minimize their importance. I have just barely enough wisdom to know that what is and is not important does not revolve around my personal preferences.

But last night I totally got it. I really, really love watching intense school board or city planning debates when it comes to the narrative Vs. counter-narrative arguments. It feels exciting. A team sport where the left or the Muslims have an objective, and a serious one, a consequential one and the rest of us are trying to stop them and establish reality and individual rights back into the net.

I have been doing a lot of that the last few days. Watching, cutting, subtitling and branding. Some of the speeches were amazing.

There are too many to post tonight. But for sure a couple of them, and by no means the best necessarily, but exciting ones I’lll put below. These are from a McKinney planning council in Texas for a new major mosque and Islamic beachhead which has no business to be built in the US by any number of metrics. The plans where deceptive, they don’t have the requisite parking, hell I have watched over 100 of these videos where the majority explained why this mosque cannot and must not be built. But here are a couple of them.

Notice the guy behind her who is so intense you think he may burst.

Here’s why. And yeah, I know how he feels.

Much more to come. In the meantime, another Ben Bankas clip about Canada.

Gotta say, he has guts to do these shows in Carneytopia after all those bills have passed.
