Reader’s Links for July 22nd, 2026

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

**New intelligence suggests a specific course of action concerning use of Substack. For a variety of reasons, who owns it, and who owns the ONLY company that monetizes authors on Substack, the question for us has always been, ‘Why is Substack allowed to exist?” I believe the answer is now known to us. It collects data on you and who you are connected to. Substack does have the best writers out there for counter-narrative views, and does allow the authors to make money at it. Which is suspicious already. But the reasons were made known to us by a Cyber-security professional. The solution seems to be to use a dedicated browser, ONLY for substack. There are many good ones out there now. So downloading another browser is easy. Get the DuckduckGo go one, or Brave or one of many others and use it ONLY for substack and clear cookies after use. Like washing your plate after you eat.

For those interested, please check out https://vladtepesblog.substack.com/ as an another avenue of expression. The Substack is a different project in a sense. It is older videos that in the light of subsequent events, look different or of increased importance, Check it out now and again if you like. But use it safely.

ADDENDUM:

This site operates more at the philosophical level of the communist/Islamic revolution which is obliterating Western Civilization. Politics, culture, law are all down stream from philosophy. Understanding the philosophy of the attack is to understand what is an attack and develop tactics, both individually and collectively against them. The attack comes entirely (so far) in the form of Dialectics. To understand dialectics, watch and read everything you can by Maj. (Ret.) Stephen Coughlin.

Here is a repost of the simplest explanation, or at least the shortest one, we have been able to think of so far (Placed here by request)

We as humans communicate mostly via conventions. In other words, we decide what a word means by what we, as a culture want it to mean, then fix the term as a convention via a dictionary

or other means so we can express what we want to each other and be understood. It’s a group process more or less but based on what we want expressions, words, concepts and taxonomy to mean.

Dialectics is the imposition of meaning on existing terms for a political outcome which is destructive to what we all consider meaning. It is a complete hijacking of Meaning.

This also applies to taxonomy. The most underrated aspect of epistemology. Of how we see ourselves. Of how we understand the world, via categories. Via labels.

Dialectical taxonomy is what forces us to change everything we think about sexuality and accept political sexuality such as the Trans-movement.

Or somehow convincing everyone that the German National Socialist Worker’s Party is somehow “far right wing”, which may be the most masterful dialectical con of the 20th century.

This deserves a proper essay. But I just want to get the thought out there.

Imposing, forcing meaning on us. Changing terms to mean what a group of tyrants what us to think they mean as opposed to what they do mean and more or less always have meant.

Making words mean something other than what we meant them to mean, then banning or criminalizing them because of their imputed meaning, even though they were good, useful terms that helped hold our culture together.

Attacking us for using perfectly good words with important meanings, then telling us what we meant by what we said, then cancelling us for it in the pre-revolutionary stage, and now in the UK outright arrest you now that the revolution is all but complete.

That is dialectics.

  1. New Border Patrol sign popping up at US airports “how to self-deport”
“Claim a free flight and $1,000 for EACH member of your family.”

    • A cheaper and probably smarter cruise missile, the more things change the more they stay the same.

      • And these cruise missiles –Wunderwaffen – inflict suffering on civilian populations no matter what. Nothing new, you’re right.

It’s the propaganda that drives me crazy. Nightmare power outages throughout the Crimean Peninsula: thirsty rrruzzians – who cares?

But desalination plants hit by [literally]* the same drones in sparsely occupied Gulf countries?
        !! Oh, the children !!
        ___
*[Most of drones on both battlefronts have Chinese components.]

        • The Chinese components doesn’t surprise me.

As the war continues both parties will start using long range V1 knockoffs.

  2. Explosive developments in Hungary:

The dark efficiency of Hungarian communism rears its ugly head. Peter Magyar is moving at light speed to recreate Hungary in the image of Brussels’ ideal vanguard tyranny, all under the premise of Fidesz party wrongdoing. Don’t forget, this follows the possibly-rigged election the outcome of which Orban conceded to, peacefully, and stepped aside. Orban will be making a speech as he does yearly in Transylvania. That speech should be one for the Ages.

  3. How quaint. (puke) “…me and my FIVE brothers…”. Really? And a hookah lounge to boot? Where’s by-law?

    One-stop-shop demographic dirty bomb.

    • It is working the way it was designed to, price the workers out of jobs and then blame capitalism.

    • A lot of people both internal and external want PT dead, they have no idea the hell his death would unleash.

      • It wouldn’t apply to these animals, but wasn’t there a law against this sort of ‘expression’ against a sitting Prez?
Maybe after the attempt on POTUS Reagan? As a qualified exception to 1A?

It shocked me during PT’s first term, the ‘comedian’ with PT’s severed head, not grabbed by the SecServ.

        • The answer is yes and no, as far as I know making a threat against any Federal employee elected or hired is a Federal Felony. Practically it depends on who is controlling the FBI and the DOJ, when Dems control them they are very strict on threats to Dems but much less so on threats to Repubs. Given the number of attempts on PTs life the SS is becoming very strict on threats against him.

        • You used to find T Shirts at the Gun Shows that read “Mess with the best die like the rest.”

I don’t know if they are still for sale, if not they should be.

  4. Apparently Russians don’t get the “elbows up” thing either. Tuck your elbows close to your body, protect your ribcage from a roundhouse or sidekick.

They explicitly mention the “Communist Canadian whats-his-name, his idea of defense…”
As one wrote today, watching an old Ukr clip of their newly appointed Minister of Defense. He’s on one knee, bowing to the UK Ambassador:

I haven’t been in the military for a long time, so maybe that’s why I don’t remember. Why are they all so split? Elbows are supposed to be tucked in.

    • One of he cons Carney uses to pretend he is a regular old Canadian, is his connection to Hockey. For example he claims he was on the Harvard Hockey team. but I have read that he had basically zero ice time and a lot of bench time.

Elbows up refers to an interview with an old Canadian hockey legend. I think Gordie Howe. He used to skate with his elbows up meaning he didn’t want a fight but was ready for one anytime one came his way.

So that’s Elbows Up. it’s Carney’s way of saying F YOU to the Americans, as he was referring to his stance on Donald Trump.

      • Then it’s a two-face joke.
He’s TOTALLY open, not at ALL on the defense…
        but that’s a just posturing.

Anybody with training would wonder. So it’s a wink-wink. To the home team, doesn’t translate to the practical sphere…
        where it counts.

        • I dont think it needed to.

Carney stole the election the way the left has been across the Western world now, including the 2020 US federal election.

slogans and messaging like that is astroturf and for plausible deniability. At least in my opinion. Not that lots of idiots didn’t vote for him, many did. But the way he got the leadership and the total capture of media, …

          • I certainly hope you’re right.

My cousins in Toronto were so offended by PT’s 51st state humor they would’ve voted for Satan him-/her-self.

Here’s the video of @JDVance identifying himself as part of “the postliberal right” while speaking at an @ISI event for his friend @PatrickDeneen’s book “Regime Change: Toward a Postliberal Future” – in case anyone was looking for it:

    I dunno… “a sorta post-liberal right”?
    Word salad or techno-authoritarian fascism?

It has now been revealed that the “Okets” unit lost its attack dog Scar during an operational activity in Lebanon.

While scanning complex terrain, a Golani patrol force spotted a fortified enemy compound. Scar was sent to scan it, and as it approached, Hezbollah operatives threw a grenade at it and opened fire on the fighters.

Scar’s fighter, Z, called out to him to return to it, and Scar immediately returned while bullets were whizzing overhead and an exchange of fire was taking place.

The force managed to ELIMINATE two operatives and continued to operate to capture the compound.

When the compound appeared to be empty of enemies and the fighters were preparing to approach it, the Sting Squad initiated another scan using Scar, to ensure that there was no danger to the force.

Scar scanned the compound thoroughly, and his fighter recognized that he had noticed something suspicious.

Thanks to his sense of smell, Scar revealed two other operatives hiding in a nearby trench, ready to ambush us as our forces arrived.

Scar determinedly made contact, fought his way through the obstacles, and reached the terrorists. He attacked them without letting up, thus exposing the ambush and warning the fighters of the danger.

During the struggle, he was shot and killed. As a result of his activity, the force was able to identify the terrorists and eliminate them.

Thanks to Scar’s activity, his keen senses, and his operational capabilities, the lives of the fighters were saved from a dangerous ambush.

Scar was a brave and determined fighter, who acted until the last moment to protect the force.

His story is another example of the uniqueness of the unit’s dogs and the irreplaceable operational advantage they bring to the battlefield.

We embrace our fighter Z, who lost a partner in the journey and in battle.

    May Scar’s memory be blessed.

  7. The only way a great civilization can be conquered is by subversion, this makes the death look like suicide.

A lot of people are trying to make the subversion of Western Civilization look like suicide. We the patriots in the west are waking up late in some cases but waking up and fighting back, with luck and Divine Guidance the US and other western nations will survive and can rebuild Western Civilization.
