Reader’s Links for feb. 22nd, 2026

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

**New intelligence suggests a specific course of action concerning use of Substack. For a variety of reasons, who owns it, and who owns the ONLY company that monetizes authors on Substack, the question for us has always been, ‘Why is Substack allowed to exist?” I believe the answer is now known to us. It collects data on you and who you are connected to. Substack does have the best writers out there for counter-narrative views, and does allow the authors to make money at it. Which is suspicious already. But the reasons were made known to us by a Cyber-security professional. The solution seems to be to use a dedicated browser, ONLY for substack. There are many good ones out there now. So downloading another browser is easy. Get the DuckduckGo go one, or Brave or one of many others and use it ONLY for substack and clear cookies after use. Like washing your plate after you eat.

For those interested, please check out https://vladtepesblog.substack.com/ as an another avenue of expression. The Substack is a different project in a sense. It is older videos that in the light of subsequent events, look different or of increased importance, Check it out now and again if you like. But use it safely.

  1. Here is a panel of serious people discussing CCP involvement in Canadian mines, ports and infrastructure. They discuss critical and strategic minerals, the distinctions between the two, what they mean to us and our allies, and what can be done to protect them. There seems to be a refreshing absence of political bias in this discussion as the members try to understand where Canada stands on these assets, and the threat the Red Chinese present. From what I gather, Canada is perhaps the largest mining country in the world in both the domestic and foreign capacity, but the CCP controls about 20% of the shares in many of our companies. I welcome the input of any expert readers in the field:

  2. Speaking of the Red Chinese, it is now common knowledge of its predatory lending practices to poor countries in infrastructure projects such as ports and mines. When the country defaults on such loans the terms and conditions of these contracts provide enormous control and leverage of the assets built. Here is an extremely condensed take on the consequences:

  3. Here is a good report from Moose on the Loose. PT says 32,000 Persians were killed in Iran by that government’s recent actions. Friends of Persian friends in Iran report young Persians pleading for the world to attack. PT has canceled his trip to the Olympics to watch the U.S. hockey team get decimated by the Canadian team (lol). Final weapons arrive in place Monday or Tuesday, so expect the attack within 72 hours. Also expect gas prices to jump so fill up now. Also expect a wild ride in precious metals as the Chinese return to the market tomorrow from their holiday.

Richard, if indeed Iran has planted military assets in the U.S. over the previous Democrat years, should we not see them mobilized now if they exist? If not now, then when if that theocracy is about to be beheaded?
