Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    In the context of precious metals it seems like something just broke. Yesterday was the largest downturn in silver’s history. Even greater than the Hunt brothers debacle in I think it was ’81. As for gold I’m not sure if it was an all-time biggest drop but close, I am sure.

    But did something really break? Maybe it is because the smoke is still clearing that the usual experts are not yet providing satisfactory answers, or maybe they are not expert at all. I want answers. After all, if I must suffer substantial monetary losses I must at least walk away with a profit in knowledge (isn’t it always the cade when bad things happen). I can say that I learned one valuable lesson: as liquid as metals are supposed to be there can be conditions that make them somewhat illiquid. Conditions such as a dealer being short on cash, inhibiting his buying from you when you need to sell. Or volitility disallowing the dealer to properly hedge. This may result from there being too many sellers at once, overwhelming the dealer. He has to look out for himself first, right? So how to avoid this dilemna should it arise next time? My takeaway is to sell while the price is rising. Simple as that.

    This is the clearest autopsy I’ve heard so far. The shorthand is that the bull market is not over. There were massive shorts and profit-taking vultures in play:

  5. Hamburg subway deaths: Man pulls young woman in front of train

    Hamburg police revealed some initial findings in their investigation of the deaths of two people at one of the city’s subway stations on Thursday night.
    According to a police spokesman, suspicion of a deliberate killing arose after both individuals were struck and killed by an approaching train at the Wandsbek-Markt station.
    Preliminary findings suggest that the man and woman were on the platform independently when the man grabbed the woman and jumped with her in front of the arriving train, the spokesman said.
    Police identified the man as a 25-year-old from South Sudan. The nationality of the 18-year-old woman has not been released. The two are not believed to have known each other.

    A MIGRANT who shoved an 18-year-old woman onto subway tracks was already known to German police and had been arrested days earlier, it has emerged.
    Fatemeh D. was standing on the platform at Wandsbek Markt subway station in Hamburg when the man suddenly approached her.
    He allegedly grabbed the young Iranian woman and dragged her in front of a train travelling through the station at around 10.07pm on Thursday.
    Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
    It has since emerged the South Sudanese attacker, identified as Ariop A., had a violent history and was already on the radar of German authorities.
    According to Bild, the 25-year-old had been arrested just days before the fatal incident after allegedly attacking police officers.
    He was reportedly cuffed over aggravated assault but later released despite investigations being underway.
    The outlet also reported the suspect had a history of aggressive and violent offences.
    Authorities confirmed the man entered Germany in mid-2024 through a humanitarian reception programme.
    He reportedly held a valid residence permit and was living in a container-style accommodation in Hamburg.
