Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    When the terrorists came to the home of 83-year-old Shlomo Ron in Kibbutz Nachal Oz, they found him waiting for them, on a couch near the window.

    An 83-year-old man with a cup of coffee in his hands. He wasn’t armed; he was just waiting.

    Hamas barbarians shot dead the man they thought was a lonely old man at point-blank range, murdered him, and moved on to the next house.

    That was why he sat that way.

    Inside the house’s safe room were Shlomo’s beloved wife, Chana, his daughter, and his grandson.

    Shlomo left the safe room so Hamas thinks he was the only one in the house and saved the lives of his wife, daughter, and grandson. He succeeded. Yesterday, his wife Chana passed away.

    May their memories be a blessing.

  3. Living creatures don’t like chaos. Some animals, such as dogs, scratch or pull their hair out. I once had a budgy named Freddie who stayed on my shoulder whenever I let him out of his cage. My shoulder was his happy place. He fluttered room to room looking for me when he didn’t know where I was.

    The man in Yucki’s comment above found clarity in chaos. The math was as simple as the act required: three lives for one. The only question in his mind was would the animals fall for it. If he did not behave nervously they just might. He gambled, and won.

    My comment is not to diminish in any way the tragic yet beautiful portrait that is painted by this man calmly waiting for the moment. I did not intend to incorporate it into my thought until the poignancy of it struck. Clarity of some sort can be found in chaos. Perhaps it is a matter of knowing one’s priorities in order to find it. Otherwise we are lost. Having love in chaos is helpful in this regard.

    Ironically, the last five years have sacrificed many loves for many people. Differences of opinion between families and friends, husbands and wives, ended so many ties. And as one crisis seemed to resolve itself, at least minimally, the next surely arises. These times are at once the autodidact’s curse, and bounty.

    Our grapple, our wrestling match with the tiger’s tail of chaos has compelled us to learn about the things we have felt threatened by. It never ends. We doggedly try to understand in order to calm the nervous itching brought on by the unknown. My old German Shepherd tried to understand every bump in the night or day, always on guard for the family he lived to protect. He embodied love in his willingness to sacrifice himself for his family. This was his clarity in a world much of which he did not understand. He was heroic and noble and was a coffee drinker in spirit. I miss him.

    Captains of industry are generally good at chaos because business is war made civilized. Most of their success is based on bets derived from early pattern recognition combined with a dearth of quality data. Once they achieve a certain level of success, or critical monetary mass, they quite naturally attempt to engineer the very chaos they formerly were held to the mercy of. They are apex predators. At that level they use less the intuition that got them where they are, and instead are able to design results that correspond to the reflexive reactions of a particular market they have set up to behave predictively.

    If we are vigilant we have had to learn about the menace that Islam presents to us, the fallacies of pseudo-science and particularly pseudo-medicine, asymmetrical warfare, dialectical linguistics before communism and now–enter stage left (not in the political sense but more aptly in the tertiary Shakespearean sense of Fifth Business), the money.

    Our monetary foundation is shaking violently. This particular threat is only a single degree of separation away from the Covid shot in terms of how it may affect us. That shot could maim or kill us. This one is the very water in which we swim.

    It was born 54 years ago as a price suppression scheme to protect the Dollar from bad optics. It is my opinion that Nixon had no choice in doing what he did August 15, 1971. Fort Knox was being drained and it had to stop. One year later the futures market was made. This allowed for the creation of “paper” derivatives to the physical metals. It was a grand lie.

    As Jim Sinclair famously wrote: “Gold is the revealer of falsely-stated wealth.”

    We are witnesses to the end of an era. What comes next I wish I knew. My intuition tells me, however, that the artificial birth of the current fiat paradigm, followed by this violent resurgence of real price discovery, will in turn be followed by yet another intervention artificial to the natural order of money markets. This will be by the hands of governments violently trying to suppress, again, this sudden gasp of monetary truth. Rest assured, however, it will fail. Freedom demands that our labour is saved in real money. Otherwise we are slaves.

      True believers don’t become disoriented because he’s their North Star. They’re ready to dream up justifications for anything and everything. There’s always a potential Spoiler in the wings to keep the gang energized and cushion a fall, if necessary.

      He designates the Spoiler from the start; his servants are the ones who distribute the trail of nasty, irresistible breadcrumbs. The servants know their market segment well, what will appeal, when to deploy.

      I’m watching two different “teams” right now. One is shell-shocked Israeli, the other is hardcore U.S. MAGA. The latter will probably bifurcate amicably to something close to the original and the edgier Woke Reich.

      • He is an expert at riding the chaos to achieve his goals, we are all living with the result and praying that he is as good at riding the chaos as he thinks he is. So far he has managed to turn almost all chaotic events into things that help the US but some of what is happening is caused by hard core professional communist revolutionaries and they are experts at shifting the chaos at expected and unexpected occurrences so keep the prayers going, we need all the help we can get.

    As a former Special Forces Warrant Officer with multiple rotations running counterinsurgency ops—both hunting insurgents and trying to separate them from sympathetic populations—I’ve seen organized resistance up close. From Anbar to Helmand, the pattern is familiar: spotters, cutouts, dead drops (or modern equivalents), disciplined comms, role specialization, and a willingness to absorb casualties while bleeding the stronger force slowly.

    What’s unfolding in Minneapolis right now isn’t “protest.” It’s low-level insurgency infrastructure, built by people who’ve clearly studied the playbook.

    Signal groups at 1,000-member cap per zone. Dedicated roles: mobile chasers, plate checkers logging vehicle data into shared databases, 24/7 dispatch nodes vectoring assets, SALUTE-style reporting (Size, Activity, Location, Unit, Time, Equipment) on suspected federal vehicles. Daily chat rotations and timed deletions to frustrate forensic recovery. Vetting processes for new joiners. Mutual aid from sympathetic locals (teachers providing cover, possible PD tip-offs on license plate lookups). Home-base coordination points. Rapid escalation from observation to physical obstruction—or worse.

    This isn’t spontaneous outrage. This is C2 (command and control) with redundancy, OPSEC hygiene, and task organization that would make a SF team sergeant nod in recognition. Replace “ICE agents” with “occupying coalition forces” and the structure maps almost 1:1 to early-stage urban cells we hunted in the mid-2000s.

    The most sobering part? It’s domestic. Funded, trained (somewhere), and directed by people who live in the same country they’re trying to paralyze law enforcement in. When your own citizens build and operate this level of parallel intelligence and rapid-response network against federal officers—complete with doxxing, vehicle pursuits, and harassment that’s already turned lethal—you’re no longer dealing with civil disobedience. You’re facing a distributed resistance that’s learned the lessons of successful insurgencies: stay below the kinetic threshold most of the time, force over-reaction when possible, maintain popular support through narrative, and never present a single center of gravity.

    I spent years training partner forces to dismantle exactly this kind of apparatus. Now pieces of it are standing up in American cities, enabled by elements of local government and civil society. That should keep every thinking American awake at night.

    Not because I want escalation. But because history shows these things don’t de-escalate on their own once the infrastructure exists and the cadre believe they’re winning the information war.

    We either recognize what we’re actually looking at—or we pretend it’s still just “activism” until the structures harden and spread.

    Your call, America. But from where I sit, this isn’t January 2026 politics anymore. It’s phase one of something we’ve spent decades trying to keep off our own soil.

      Georgetown University – where the directors of CIA, NSA,etc get their training from. From the mastors of the craft of spying,etc – The Jesuits.

      They are repeating again what they did to cause the prior civil wars in USA.

      Jesuits were brought to life to counter the reformation, to destroy protestantism. America was and is the only true protestant country by the way it was a republic, a country without a king and religion without a pope. And by being a protestant country they were the enemy of the Jesuits and the Papacy.

        Be careful you are in the heart of the beast and are in much greater danger then I am, I wish you could move to a safer location but that is something you have to decide. Read the article about who is funding the riots and remember the report of ANTIFA people returning from the Middle East and watch you back.

          • That they will, once it becomes warm enough for people to sleep outside without covers riot season will begin, the left thinks they are going to win this war but ignore the large number of states and cities where there are no riots. As I have said previously I worry about you being in the middle of the radical left controlled states.

    • You beat me to posting this item, we are seeing professional revolutionaries at work. The far left took control of the Democrat Party a long time ago and have been working hard to create the revolution that we are now watching them start. They think they can win this war but they can’t, there are too many trained people who have retired from the US Military that know what they are doing and are praying that the current administration will manage to stop the communists before things get bad enough for the Vets to have to step up and once again protect the United States.

      OT but not really OT, the man who was shot yesterday had a permit to carry a concealed weapon but he didn’t have any ID or the permit on him at the riot. This is against the CCW laws of Minnesota according to their laws you must have ID and the permit on your person when you are carrying a concealed weapon. Why wasn’t he carrying the ID and permit? Also the Sig 320 is well know for having accidental fire malfunctions, God alone knows how this POS made it through the selection process to become the US military handgun.

An investigation into the group reveals a complex funding structure linking Defend 612 to liberal foundations, shell entities, politicians, and third-party organizations, some of which ultimately trace back to billionaire George Soros.

      Defend 612 is a Minneapolis-based activist group that provides anti-ICE “know your rights” training, organizes and supports protests, and maintains a decentralized rapid-response network designed to interfere with ICE enforcement in real time. Its tactics include sending alerts through encrypted Signal chats, following ICE vehicles, swarming enforcement sites with observers and protesters, and whistle-blowing to warn potential targets.

      On its website, Defend 612 claims that since the government launched “Operation Metro Surge” in the Twin Cities, “Somali, Latinx, and immigrant communities have faced relentless harassment, intimidation, abduction, detention, and deportation.” The group’s use of the term “abduction” rather than “arrest” reflects standard activist framing.

      While Defend 612 does not argue that those targeted are legally present, it nonetheless seeks to shield illegal aliens from arrest and deportation, opposing the core function of immigration enforcement.

        But I don’t think we have the Eliot Ness-type in this administration or the time to get it done.

        • I know there has been a RICO investigation into some of the NGOs but I’m not sure which ones, I also know that one has been threatened against the Soros family.

          If we can get some RICO wins on the NGOs and their contributors we can drain their assets but it is hard for most RICO investigations to be successful.

    While I was staying in Hasakah, Syria, last April, a Kurdish commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces told me he expected to be fighting the new government in Damascus within a year. The new Islamist rulers of Syria, he said, were never going to tolerate the Kurdish-led SDF. He was right. The attempt is underway.

    Some 50,000 ISIS prisoners and their family members are held in jails supervised by the SDF. Government forces have taken Al-Hol camp, home to 24,000 relatives of Islamic State fighters. Footage has emerged of the government’s men greeting the inmates with joyous shouts of victory, encouraging them to flee. In Shaddadi prison in Hasakah, hundreds of ISIS fighters have made their way to freedom thanks to attacks by government forces.

    For 15 years, the SDF – secular, progressive in its attitude toward women, aligned with the West – built the most stable and sanely governed part of Syria. In its place will likely be jihadist chaos, the murder of female Kurdish fighters, and hundreds of ISIS men escaping incarceration and rallying again.

    • Gordon Chang was just on FOX news talking about this subject, he basically said the same things I did, China may be headed into a civil war or this may be a psyop.

      He also said that over the next 5 or 6 decades China is going to lose most of its population, he thinks they will end up with about 450 million people. As he pointed out no nation in history has had this massive a demographic loss, we don’t know what to expect.

        • That is possible but he is going after the General that use to control all of the PLA, Xi has to be wondering how many of the officers he can trust. China has a long history of Generals taking over various provinces and at times the entire nation, and this is coming after the superstitious signs (The giant Buddha at the rivers edge getting his feet washed) are that there will be a change in Dynasties.

          The entire world is on the brink of a incredibly large number of civil wars, three possibly four of them in nations with nuclear weapons. (The US, Britain, France and China) Don’t forget during the Biden administration they threatened to bomb (possibly with nukes) US Cities if they rebelled against the third Obama and then first Jill Biden terms.
