Reader’s Links for January 17th, 2026

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

For those interested, please check out https://vladtepesblog.substack.com/ as an another avenue of expression. The Substack is a different project in a sense. It is older videos that in the light of subsequent events, look different or of increased importance, Check it out now and again if you like.

  1. Grunting and breathing heavily, Jack crawled up from the ravine to emerge from the swampy weeds of the green hell.

“Well?” Larry asked. He had been waiting for his friend to return for what seemed like forever. They were lost, and Larry hoped Jack had found a way out.

“It’s like this,” Jack began, trying to speak while catching his breath. “There isn’t enough physical silver in the world to satisfy demand. The price action we saw this past week was the forced selling of shorts to cover their positions. 300 million ounces of paper had to be settled last week.”

“Still sounds like noise over signal to me,” Larry replied.

“Yeah, well, it’s still true. And then we see there have been cases of Canadians making physical silver purchases only to be debanked. So that’s a big data point to show Canada is an operating fascist dictatorship at the margins. Wait until this little bit of trivia goes mainstream.”

    “What else?”

“Well I managed to get up on that ridge at the back. I could see for miles from there. And all the fundamentals say ignore the paper, go for a walk, hang on, because the new paradigm is taking shape before our eyes.”

    “Which means?”

“It is difficult to rationalize silver in anything less than hundreds of dollars by the fiat metric.”
