Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

          We – the families here – poured over this stuff. Countless hours. We quickly realized that nothing coming out of Ukraine or Western media was any good. We burned off anxiety sorting sources as a team.

          I soaked up every word of English-language reporting while others looked at everything in Russian/Ukrainian and kept up with family there. My Russki had the military experience, my brother followed the evolving weapons story. The priest at the Orthodox Church had good contacts. I started investigating the back story of each of these fine Western colonels, judges, and professors.

          Russia’s media front was far more competent than its military front for well over a year. But then everything started to kick in. A clumsy start in war is a recurrent theme in Russia’s history. And Ukrainians are just as tough and tenacious as their kin to the east. But they never had a chance.

  3. Bessent proposes a debt for equity swap. This is a big deal. It is recognition by the Trump admin. that foreigners no longer want U.S. bonds and T-bills. It is a workaround to this problem that allows other nations to park their reserves directly into U.S. manufacturing and, perhaps, infrastructure, instead of paper. Another way to put it is foreigners get equity in factories they will build in the U.S. The irony of this is not lost on the fact tomorrow is yet another anniversary of the 1971 closing of the gold window.

    Quebec was by far the strictest place in North America in its management of the pandemic. Today, the time has come to demand accountability.

    I filed a case before the Superior Court last May. The media’s lawyer quickly reacted by submitting a motion to dismiss to the Court. On June 26, during a brief hearing, the judge authorized the official filing of this motion.

    A few days ago, I received not only the media’s motion to dismiss but also that of the lawyer representing the government. In these documents, spanning about ten pages, my case is attacked on all fronts. Essentially, the defendants argue that the claim is “theoretical” on the grounds that the pandemic is over and that I lack the standing to act in the public interest.

    Thus, the government’s motion states that: “The issues raised by the plaintiff do not call for resolving a real and specific difficulty. A judgment that would confirm the plaintiff’s suspicions, hypotheses, or assumptions would provide no practical solution and would not resolve any real difficulty. As for the request for public apologies, the courts have consistently been reluctant to grant such a request given the imprecise nature of such an order and the principle of the separation of powers. Consequently, we submit that the Court should grant the present motion to dismiss, as the plaintiff’s action is baseless, frivolous, abusive, excessive, and aims to pervert the ends of justice.”

    For its part, the media’s lawyer argues that “The plaintiff lacks the legal standing to claim, on behalf of third parties, the multiple remedies sought, particularly those requesting apologies from the Media. The plaintiff’s action, in its entirety, appears highly excessive and unreasonable, and it is of a nature to pervert the ends of justice, particularly by limiting press freedom in the context of a public debate.”

    But the truth remains: unvaccinated individuals were publicly accused of being responsible for:
    ? the waves of the pandemic,
    ? hospital overcrowding,
    ? delays in surgeries,
    ? and implicitly, deaths related to COVID-19.

    These unfounded accusations were relayed without reservation by the media. One example among many: an article from the Journal de Montréal (Anti-vaxxers, a harmful global minority, January 22, 2022) portrays us as “assassins.” Loïc Tassé: “Anti-vaxxers are nearly impossible to convince. Like all believers, they are impervious to logical arguments. When the beliefs of some can directly cause the death of others, action must be taken. The Constitution and charters do not protect assassins. There is no right to spread death around oneself. Politicians should all unequivocally condemn anti-vaxxers and demand mandatory vaccination.”

    An epic battle is in preparation. My claim is not solely about past events but also aims to defend human dignity and demand reparations. For it is only when public apologies have been granted that dignity will be restored.

    The hearing will take place on August 22, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., in room 2.16 of the Montreal courthouse, at 1 Notre-Dame Street East.

    In what reads less like grassroots support and more like ideological laundering, the group “Jews for Zohran – formed to deflect antisemitism accusations against anti-Israel NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani – is being spearheaded by the niece of a Marxist billionaire with deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

    Meet Alicia Singham Goodwin, who helped launch “Jews for Zohran” in January as part of a coordinated effort to give Mamdani political cover while attempting to sway Jewish voters…

    Singham Goodwin is no ordinary activist. Her uncle, Neville Roy Singham, is a tech billionaire and self-avowed Marxist who relocated to Shanghai after selling his company, Thoughtworks, for $785 million in 2017. Since then, he’s poured millions into activist organizations aligned with Beijing’s messaging.

    Her father, Daniel Goodwin, was an executive and legal counsel at Thoughtworks. Her mother, Shanti Singham, Roy’s sister, is a department chair at East China Normal University, a Chinese state-run institution, and an advocate for China’s Confucius Institutes abroad…

    Meanwhile, Singham Goodwin remains at the helm of a campaign that uses Jewish identity not to defend Jews, but to shield a candidate who champions movements hostile to them. That the operation is tied to foreign-aligned billionaires and ideological operatives should be deeply troubling to anyone concerned about outside influence, antisemitism, or the weaponization of identity politics.
