The infamous avowed communist and international assassin/terrorist-for-hire Carlos the Jackal, a.k.a. Venezuelan born Ilich Ramírez Sánchez, was a wanted man for years until – with the aid of U.S. Army special forces legend Billy Waugh – French security forces finally tracked him down and imprisoned him for his many crimes.
While in prison, Sánchez converted to Islam, and penned a book entitled “Revolutionary Islam,” one of whose assertions was that “Only an alliance between Islam and the Left can bring down the United States…”
The so-called “Red-Green Alliance” is very real, not withstanding how unlikely it seems upon its face. Despite the very real differences between the two, they are united by their shared enmity and hatred of the West and Christianity, and their desire to see both brought down.
The trickle-down effects are real, too. As someone who has been inside the belly of the academic beast, and who knows whereof he speaks, conversion to Islam is now quite popular on U.S. college campuses; it is considered fashionable, even chic, to do it. And if higher education in the U.S. is so impacted, it must that much further along in Europe.
