Reader’s Links for May 15, 2025

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

For those interested, please check out https://vladtepesblog.substack.com/ as an another avenue of expression. The Substack is a different project in a sense. It is older videos that in the light of subsequent events, look different or of increased importance, Check it out now and again if you like.

  1. Heat pumps, solar panels, inverters…what else?

This report says the Red Chinese have booby-trapped the whole climate-change hoax.

How about all of those fantastically-cheap electric cars they are trying to push on the world? No thanks. Just when you need it most the screen on your dash says, “Sorry, Roundeye, but you go nowhere fast! Ha!Ha!”

  2. Palestinian Terrorist Murders Pregnant Israeli Woman on Her Way to Hospital to Give Birth

Tzila Gez, a pregnant Israeli woman, was killed in a shooting attack Wednesday night while on her way to give birth. Her husband was wounded. A Palestinian terrorist opened fire on them near Bruchin in Samaria. Three vehicles were targeted by gunfire on Highway 446 from a passing vehicle. The baby, delivered by C-section, is in serious but stable condition.

Magen David Adom paramedic Erez Vogel said:
“We saw a private vehicle with signs of gunfire. Inside was a woman in the driver’s seat, unconscious and suffering from severe gunshot wounds. In the passenger seat sat a man in his 40s, fully conscious, who was also wounded by gunfire. He was trying to treat the injured woman next to him, attempting to stop her bleeding. We pulled both of them out of the vehicle and provided medical treatment.”

  4. DNC Politicians Can’t Mask Worries About Hogg’s Radical Agenda ~ VIDEO

    Opinion

BELLEVUE, WA – The Democratic National Committee can say whatever they want about calling for a new election which could replace gun ban activist David Hogg as vice chair, but the fact remains he quickly became a pain in the political neck and everybody knows it, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said.

Hogg has been in office less than six months and he has already started a civil war within the party which veteran strategist James Carville was smart enough to take out of the public light. Hogg announced plans to spend some $20 million to primary older Democrat incumbents in safe congressional districts, in an effort to attract younger activists back to the party.

“Democrats have obviously discovered something about Hogg the Second Amendment community knew almost immediately several years ago,” said CCRKBA Managing Director Andrew Gottlieb. “He’s a self-aggrandizing attention grabber, who wants to play power broker. His agenda is about him, not the party he pretends to serve, or the lives lost to armed criminals and crazy people who ignore existing gun laws and will get around any new laws he demands.

“Hogg has been a mouthpiece for the gun prohibition movement,” Gottlieb observed, “which profits off of gun-related violence. The more serious the mayhem, the more sensational headlines and thus the more money they can raise by promising an end to violence by restricting the rights of law-abiding citizens. It’s about like promising to stop a blizzard by banning snow plows.”

While Hogg fancies himself as a party reformer, his activities so far suggest he’s a party crasher with the mindset of a grifter, CCRKBA said.

No doubt Democrats agree with his gun ban philosophy, but they simply can’t stand his juvenile political behavior, and using procedural concerns is a flimsy sham effort to avoid admitting they have grown weary of his grandstanding.

“Clearly,” Gottlieb said, “Hogg’s my-way-or-the-highway approach and his willingness to throw his elders under the nearest bus has not gone over well with party leaders. With him, it’s ‘all about Hogg,’ so he has quickly worn out whatever welcome he may have had. He forgets that change is guided by big men, not big mouths.”

  5. The “pandemic” is over, why is anyone voting by “special ballot”? Election Day is when all counting should take place on that day, the old normal way. What a joke it has all become.
Yesterday I spoke with a man who was vaccinated several times. One day he went blind in one eye, a so-called doctor saw no problem. He later saw another doctor who told him he had a detached retina and a tumor behind his eye. I asked him if he was vaxed and he said yes but the vaccine had nothing to do with it. I said there are millions of vaxed injuries world wide and he told me he never heard of anyone being injured.
I wanted to ask him who he voted for but thought better of it.

      • The plane is just the cherry on top of _yuge_ deals for Trump,Inc. Kushner has had his own billion- dollar thing going. Perfectly legal, no doubt.

Of course we have to wait for reliable documentation of actual transactions that make for this lovey-relationship. Maybe it’ll remain classified for 50 years.

        • Each member of Congress who refrains from calling for an impeachment trial over this is “on the take” as well. When you’re President, you don’t have to hide kickbacks.

When he arose, instinctively saying “Fight, fight, fight” it was like the cry of “Rosebud,” the inside expression of a soul, but a soul that lacks for meaning other than itself.

He didn’t call out love to his children, his wife, or his country, or even the Rosebud sleigh of a distant childhood.

  7. Dr. Salem AlKetbi, UAE political analyst:
Confessions: Peace or war with Israel

A rare audio recording recently circulating across Arab media outlets between Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser and Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi exposes shocking truths long hidden behind flowery rhetoric and fiery speeches.

The widely shared recording highlights the glaring contradiction between the public rhetoric of revolutionary Arab regimes and their actual positions.

Abdel Nasser, long revered as the champion of Arab nationalism and anti-colonial resistance, responds with surprising bluntness to Qaddafi’s demands for a unified military force to “liberate Palestine”, saying: “If someone wants to fight, let them fight” and “Those who want combat and liberation, go right ahead.”

He further challenges those questioning Egypt’s commitment: “Algeria, Syria, Iraq, Yasser Arafat, and George Habash can meet all they want, and we’ll skip the meeting. Go fight, and I’ll even give you 50 million pounds in aid – just leave us alone. Let us focus on our western front and Sinai.”

We cannot ignore the historical reality that the revolutionary rhetoric from certain Arab regimes was nothing more than a smokescreen hiding completely different intentions. These regimes pushed for conflict and inflamed the Palestinian Arab issue while avoiding any personal consequences.
