This is by far the best thing I have seen on the subject. This is how science when well explained sounds like. Granted, he does occasionally have to make reference to Climate Change. But at this point that is like you have to watch 2 men kissing if you want to see any movie or TV series you may actually like.

He does say something so good though, that it made me stop and write it down:

It’s hard to celebrate science, when you’re constrained by the truth in ways that these people aren’t”.

I think that could be the motto of the entire 21st century.

UPDATE:

I had to add this contrasting example of terrible politicized science. This is however, a great example of scientism. First of all, I have zero idea if his stated facts are true, or if the experiment was even done, or if it yielded the results he said it did. But even if all the that is given, his leap to generational trauma in humans from a jar full of fleas is, well it’s like a made-up model of disease progress that leads to masking everyone, shutting down the schools and sticking multiple needles in everyone’s arm.

    • Exactly. It is scientism and political. It is the language of science to justify removing individual rights and individualism altogether.

    • The last short video is a very good example of scientism. There is no science to it at all. its patent nonsense from the ground up.

      If it was True, survivors and their children of survivors of the Holocaust would build mini concentration camps and never try and escape.

      When actually, many of them did very well once they left Germany. I knew a few of them.
