Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. We’ve got one week to find out.

    The global south has known this for years. In fact it has been increasingly clear since August 15, 1971. Zoltan Poszar put the graffiti on the proverbial wall two years ago. We here in our comfortable western bubble don’t see it because we don’t suffer. Yet.

    In this regard I find it amazing the effectiveness of PT as he pulls simple levers that have epic impact. No more illegal migrants. BOOM! The log jam piles up in every country below the southern border. No more DEI. BOOM! Corporate culture is changing at the speed of a falling Berlin wall. Drill baby drill. BOOM! Green maniacs are no longer driving us into bankruptcy. And so on.

    Financial derivatives (including USD) on real collateral delivery (commodities) are decreasingly accepted as compensation for semi-slave labour. Until you understand the BRICS is firstly a dollar phenomenon, you don’t get it.

    If PT actually does what it seems he is planning to do, he will go down as one of history’s greatest U.S. Presidents.

    Breaking the cabal that controls real money is a start. Cutting adversaries off from cheap silver is a start. Recognizing that all of this is an existential necessity for the United States–right now–is the most important start.

    The threat of 25% tariffs on Canada is one of the greatest examples of Canadians’ complacency, ever. Yes, the politicians and the state-paid broadcasters whine about it, but they don’t get it. Meanwhile, Joe Blow goes about his day typically uninformed.

    What the Great White North really doesn’t understand is that everything it is, and has ever been, has only come from the good graces of its southern neighbor. All departures from this understanding are self-delusion.

    Now that America has its back against the wall it cannot afford playing with kid gloves. It is no coincidence that a ruthless, patriotic money man has made one of the greatest political comebacks, ever.

    Comes the Time, comes the Man. Boom.

    The long, dark nightmare of the Biden-Harris Administration is about to end.

    Now, it is incumbent for President Trump to evaluate realistically the type of government he will be inheriting. Before he assumes office, President Trump will take the only oath specified in the U.S. Constitution, required of all incoming presidents:

    I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

    Every other federal employee who is in elected or appointed office takes a different oath, promising only to “support and defend” the Constitution “against all enemies, foreign and domestic….” 5 U.S.C. § 3331.

    Thus, only the President is charged with the solemn duty to “preserve” and “protect” the Constitution. The language about “enemies, foreign and domestic” is obviously subsumed in the Presidential oath, and our nation has many domestic enemies.

    President Trump will take over a nation which has been badly damaged by: the moral depravity of the Clinton Administration (eight years); the mass slaughter caused by the lies of the Bush/Cheney Administration about “weapons of mass destruction” (eight years); Obama’s radical “fundamental transforming” of America (eight years); and the deep financial and moral corruption of the Biden Administration (four years).

    The Russiagate hoax pushed by the Deep State worked to neutralize much of the first Trump Administration’s efforts to return government to “We the People.”

    Now, the greatest threat that President Trump will face in his second Administration is yet another CIA/Deep State operation against him, supported by an establishment media.
    Obama Fundamentally Transforms the CIA

    Obama accomplished his goal of fundamental transformation with respect to the CIA. During Obama’s first month, his CIA Director was Michael Hayden, followed by Leon Panetta and David Petraeus.

    However, Obama really hit his stride upon winning his second term when he handpicked former communist supporter John Brennan, as the head of the CIA, who served for almost every day of his second term. CIA whistleblower John Kiriakou explains what Brennan accomplished for Obama, staffing the CIA with persons willing to misuse the Agency’s power to accomplish political objectives:

    Brennan brought his own people in and they too were Obama loyalists, they had owed their careers to Obama. The next thing you know, you have this politicized leadership at the CIA when the CIA is supposed to be nonpartisan, apolitical.
    CIA Opposition to Candidate Trump

    During the 2016 campaign, “the CIA … overtly threw its weight behind Hillary Clinton’s candidacy and sought to defeat Donald Trump.” This was not a covert operation — it was an in-Trump’s-face effort to defeat him, planting seeds for the Russiagate hoax.

    “In August [2016], former acting CIA Director Michael Morell announced his endorsement of Clinton in the New York Times and claimed that ‘Mr. Putin had recruited Mr. Trump as an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation.’

    GWB’s CIA and NSA director Michael Hayden also endorsed Clinton and used the CIA-friendly Washington Post to warn, in the week before the election, that ‘Donald Trump really does sound a lot like Vladimir Putin.’”
    CIA Opposition to President Trump

    After Trump’s victory, the CIA “concluded” that Russia had interfered by hacking emails from the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

    The FBI accepted the conclusion of the Clinton Campaign vendor CrowdStrike that Russia did the hacking, even though that company later admitted it had no proof.

    While the CIA libeled Trump as essentially a Russian agent, “Brennan also had intel saying ‘actually Russia wanted Hillary Clinton to win because she was a known quantity, she had been secretary of state, and Vladimir Putin’s team thought she was more malleable, while candidate Donald Trump was unpredictable’” — and Brennan covered it up.

    In “concluding” that Russia wanted Trump, Brennan, “the most politicized intelligence chief in American history,” allowed “no dissenting views or even … reviews by outside experts.” As Blaze News noted:

    While Donald Trump was president, the CIA launched a full-scale operation to remove him from office for daring to question the agency…. Brennan initiated the Russia collusion hoax by leaking the “Steele dossier,” a complete fabrication based on false information from Russian intelligence officials.

    Brennan misled the press, claiming the dossier was CIA intelligence…. This was the CIA’s attempt to stage a domestic coup and take down a sitting president.

    Fox News’ Jesse Watters described how Brennan and the CIA “manipulated other assessments, buried high-quality intelligence, and then manufactured a conclusion that 17 agencies agreed Russia interfered in the 2016 elections to help Trump and then the press ran with it, and the country was brainwashed.” Trump correctly noted that his CIA attackers were “the same people that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.”

    In August 2019, the Washington Examiner reported that “[f]ormer CIA Director John Brennan says world leaders view President Trump as not only ‘incompetent,’ but also ‘delusional.’”

    In late October 2020, as Trump and Biden prepared for their second presidential debate, former acting CIA Director Michael Morell sent an email to another former director, Obama-appointed John Brennan.

    He asked Brennan to sign on to a letter claiming that the New York Post expose on Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian “disinformation.”

    Morell later admitted that the intent of the letter was to “help Vice President Biden … because I wanted him to win the election.” Brennan responded, “Ok, Michael, add my name to the list. Good initiative.

    Thanks for asking me to sign on.” Of the 51 “current and former intelligence officials” who signed the letter designed to defeat Trump, 42 were current or former CIA.

    Also in 2019, Real Clear Investigations reported that the so-called “whistleblower” who claimed a phone call between Trump and Ukrainian officials that was cited as a charge in Trump’s first impeachment, was actually CIA operative Eric Ciaramella, “a registered Democrat held over from the Obama White House, [who] previously worked with former Vice President Joe Biden and former CIA Director John Brennan, a vocal critic of Trump who helped initiate the Russia ‘collusion’ investigation of the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.”

    Ciaramella “huddled for ‘guidance’ with the staff of House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, including former colleagues also held over from the Obama era whom Schiff’s office had recently recruited….”
    CIA Opposition to Trump’s 2024 Campaign

    In late 2023, Brennan dredged up his old “Russia collusion” hoax again, declaring that “it was ‘absolutely essential’ to Putin that Trump win back the White House.”

    “If Trump is able to return to the White House,” Brennan fabricated, “Putin could have a like-minded individual that he can work with, detrimental to U.S. interests certainly and detrimental to Western interests overall.”

    By the time the 2024 campaign came along, former CIA analyst and Georgetown University Professor John Gentry predicted that “[t]he CIA has become politicized and will work to stop Donald Trump from becoming president.” He “warned that politicization of the CIA has become a ‘significant’ problem.”
    The CIA’s Continuing Threat to President Trump

    The CIA has extensive experience in undermining democratically elected governments, using riots, bribery, threats, false flags, paramilitary operations, and even assassinations.

    The CIA has near-unlimited funds, the ability to conduct its operations in secret, a politicized senior leadership, and a deep commitment to stop the Trump Administration at all costs.

    A good case can be made that the ability of the second Trump Administration to implement any of its policy agenda will depend primarily on whether President Trump and his appointees realize the threat the CIA poses to him and the nation.

    Then, the Trump Administration must give the highest priority to defanging and neutralizing the Agency — returning it to its original mission to focus on foreign intelligence — before it destroys his presidency for a second time, and our constitutional republic as well.

  5. Exposing Media Bias: The Truth About Trump’s Birthright Citizenship and Drug Pricing Executive Orders

    Dishonest media are claiming Trump is ending birth right citizenship. This is not the case.

    President Trump’s executive order aims to end birthright citizenship for children born to mothers who are either unlawfully present or in the U.S. on temporary visas, provided the father is neither a U.S. citizen nor a lawful permanent resident.

    This means the order affects both children of undocumented immigrants as well as children born to parents legally in the U.S. on temporary visas, such as students or tourists.

    His rescinding of the Biden-era $2 drug copay has similarly been misrepresented. The Biden program had not yet gone into effect, and it did not reduce the cost of producing drugs.

    Instead, it lowered out-of-pocket expenses for some Americans while increasing the burden on taxpayers and leaving drug prices uncapped for everyone else.

    President Trump’s executive order on birthright citizenship is titled “PROTECTING THE MEANING AND VALUE OF AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP.”

    The title is apt and aligns perfectly with the principles of Make America Great Again.

    Being a U.S. citizen is a special privilege, not an automatic entitlement.

    Children born to U.S. citizens are citizens, and immigrants who come to the country legally, navigate an immense number of hurdles, and meet all requirements are granted citizenship.

    However, this does not apply to the children of illegal aliens within the United States.

    The executive accurately order states, “The Fourteenth Amendment has never been interpreted to extend citizenship universally to everyone born within the United States.

    The Fourteenth Amendment has always excluded from birthright citizenship persons who were born in the United States but not ‘subject to the jurisdiction thereof.’”

    The Constitution itself begins with the words “We the People of the United States of America,” which underscores that it is a document created by and for the American people, outlining their rights and protections—not those of illegal aliens.

    President Trump’s executive order rescinding former President Biden’s initiatives to lower prescription drug costs has been unfairly vilified and misrepresented by the media.

    Biden’s 2022 executive order proposed testing models to reduce drug prices under Medicare and Medicaid, including capping copayments for generic medications at $2.

    However, these initiatives were still in the developmental stages and had not been fully implemented at the time of rescission. In reality, the program did not yet exist—only a pilot program benefiting a small number of people.

    The media, however, has portrayed this as a catastrophe, suggesting that lives will be lost immediately due to rising prescription drug prices.

    In truth, for the vast majority of people, their drug prices will remain unchanged.

    The rationale behind President Trump’s decision includes concerns about the effectiveness and financial sustainability of these programs.

    While the proposed $2 copay would have reduced out-of-pocket expenses for patients, it failed to address the underlying high costs of the drugs themselves.

    This is typical of socialist programs—people often mistake a decrease in out-of-pocket expenses for a true reduction in costs. What they fail to realize is that the lower price they pay is only possible because of government subsidies, meaning taxpayers were covering the rest.

    This, in turn, required more government spending and money printing, contributing to general inflation.

    In addition to government subsidies, the Biden administration sought to lower drug prices by negotiating with pharmaceutical companies.

    However, the problem with forcing or negotiating a capped price is that it stifles innovation and discourages investment in new drug development.

    It costs billions of dollars to bring a drug to market, so while each individual pill may cost only pennies to produce, the billions spent on research and development are factored into the retail price.

    If the government imposes price caps, pharmaceutical companies cannot recoup their investments, leading them to reduce or halt funding for the development of new and improved drugs.

    It’s important to note that while the $2 copay initiative was rescinded, other measures to reduce prescription drug costs, such as the $2,000 annual cap on out-of-pocket expenses for Medicare beneficiaries, remain in effect.

    Biden’s initiatives failed to address the root issue: the high prices set by pharmaceutical companies. Instead, the government would have absorbed the additional financial burden, resulting in higher taxpayer expenses.

    This is typical of programs that attempt to solve social problems by simply giving away free money.

    It aligns with Biden’s broader pattern of money-printing and giveaway policies that fueled record inflation.

    Ironically, he then attempted to tackle the very inflation he caused by spending nearly half a trillion dollars through the Inflation Reduction Act.

    The Trump administration’s stance reflects a preference for market-driven solutions and direct negotiations with pharmaceutical companies to achieve sustainable reductions in drug prices.

    An analysis of most of Trump’s policies reveals a consistent preference for market forces and outcomes, which are not only fairer than socialist programs but also have the added benefit of being better for the economy in the long term.

    Market-based solutions help reduce government spending while addressing the national debt, creating a more sustainable path forward.

  6. California Secessionists Just Took Their First Major Step Towards a Bid for Independence

    The California secessionist movement is fast becoming a political reality, even though it stands no realistic chance of ever succeeding.

    In a crucial first step towards their long term goal, secessionists have successfully filed a ballot initiative proposing that the state become its own country and secede from the United States.

    The initiative has now been cleared for signature gathering and will require 546,651 valid signatures by July 22nd in order to become a formal ballot initiative.

    If successful, voters would be asked in 2028 the following question: “Should California leave the United States and become a free and independent country?”

    According to the guidelines set out by its organizers, if over 55 percent of voters said “yes” on a turnout of over 50 percent, would constitute “a vote of no confidence in the United States of America.”

    It would also then declare that the “will of the people of California” is to become an independent country.

    On this basis, state authorities would be required to create a commission on the viability of California becoming an independent country.

    The cost of this initiative and the associated commission is estimated at around $10 million, as well as $2 million in annual state costs to keep the commission going.

    There are currently no provisions for secessionist under the U.S. Constitution.

    In 1869, The Supreme Court ruled in Texas v. White that unilateral secession is unconstitutional, meaning that Congress would have to approve any departure.

    Many Californians wish to become an independent country on the basis that the rest of the United States does not align with their left-wing worldview.

    However, any real secession plan would throw up countless imponderables, such as the division of federal assets and national security concerns.

    Texas is the only other U.S. state with a tangible secessionist movement, with advocates citing its history as a former republic.

    Back in November, New York State Senator Liz Krueger outlined her own plan to withhold federal taxes and become part of Canada following Donald Trump’s election victory.

    “It’s not unreasonable to think outside of the box,” she remarked at the time.

    For roughly 80 years Marxists have used the ghost of Hitler.

    Hitler has been the greatest gift that Marxism ever had. By labelling a political ideology that had SOCIALISM in its very name as ‘right wing’, and by pretending that total State power and control was a ‘rightwing’ system of rule rather than the exact opposite of the small State, inalienable rights model that is actually rightwing, Marxists could pretend forever that their own crimes were lesser than those of people who opposed them.

    Even before Nazism itself existed, this was a Marxist strategy. It was first done with Fascism. The fact that Mussolini was a Communist who was a personal correspondent and friend of Lenin was suppressed. The fact that Fascism was a Communist designed vehicle with nothing but an Italian nationalist paint job sprayed on top was suppressed.

    Everything at the core of Fascism and Nazism’s belief in the total power of the State to do anything no matter how murderous was learned at the Marxist knee. The propaganda techniques, the control of thought and speech, the corruption of language, the building of an infrastructure of oppression, all was directly copied from Marxism.

    Since WWII Marxists have transferred all guilt for genocide, death camps, political extremism, State use of violence and repression, from their own guilty shoulders onto nationalism and onto large innocent categories. The entire history of progressive and Globalist politics can be understood as the continuance of a technique first deployed by Lenin when describing anything and everyone non communist as “fascist”.

    Marxists found that the best way to disguise Marxism’s creation of Fascism and Nazism was the same technique that would be used to memory hole their own murder of 100 million victims. Simply transfer the guilt entirely to patriotism, nationalism, to tradition, to capitalism, to ‘the Right’, to conservatives, to the West, to anyone who dared speak against Marxism who dared to know that Fascism and Nazism were given birth by the prior existence of Marxism and that THIS is the reason why they share so many characteristics. That truth had to be buried, and how convenient it was that focusing exclusively on Nazi crimes then linking them to anyone inclined to reject Marxism could claim to be “Anti-Fascism” rather than deflection and deceit.

    When ‘progressives’ today call Elon Musk a Nazi or pretend that a heart throwing gesture was a Nazi salute it’s because roughly 100 years earlier Lenin was calling all non Communists “fascists” to deflect from his role in the creation of Fascism and the moulding of Mussolini. The transfer of responsibility and guilt from the architects of oppression that Fascism and Nazism learned everything from, onto the exact kind of people who would oppose ALL of these extremisms, was the single greatest propaganda triumph any totalitarian regime ever enacted.

    Marxism, Fascism and Nazism were like an in-bred family with their own internal rivalries and hatreds, but who all looked and sounded alike because they all had Daddy Marxism’s DNA and had all learned Daddy Marxism’s behaviour patterns….EVEN IF they also hated Daddy.

    None of them had right wing DNA or followed right wing ideas on the necessity of LIMITING the power of the State. Quite the opposite. And even the supposed nationalism the younger totalitarian movements put on as a defiant costume when all grown up and telling Daddy to go fuck himself was just that, a costume. No actual nationalist would welcome Gotterdammerung or blame the nation for failing him and want it burned to ashes the way Hitler did in the closing stages of WWII. That was much closer to the adolescent rage of the perpetual child, testifying to the way all totalitarian systems lock their believers into the mindset of an abused and abusing child for the rest of their lives.

    Understand Hitler’s relationship with both his abusive father and Marxism and you understand Nazism far better than you do by thinking it the end consequence of patriotism and nationalism. There never was, and never has been, anything specifically rightwing about total State power and about CLAIMING to love the Nation as a propaganda tool. There certainly has never been anything specifically rightwing about using Jews as a scapegoat and a target. All of these elements can be seen in Stalin’s intent to purge Jewish doctors or Stalinist invocations of Mother Russia both in the Russian Civil War and in World War Two. Jew hatred is absolutely rife today among the progressive inheritors of Marxism. It is leftwing students supporting Hamas and chasing Jews across campuses.

    Marxists will both transfer their guilts to nationalism, and invoke nationalism when it suits them. And Marxists will both stir hatred against Jews or support hatred against Jews, AND attempt to cynically deploy Jews as human shields by claiming that criticism of Marxism or opposition to Marxism is hatred of Jews.

    There can be few things more morally bankrupt and loathsome than simultaneously supporting the real modern Nazis of Hamas as they rape, murder, torture and commit genocide against innocent Jews while also pretending that anyone who opposes the Democrat Party or leftwing ideology is a Nazi. In Musk’s case he’s been one of the strongest voices condemning October 7th on the planet. And now those who supported October 7th and have since done everything in their power to excuse it see, to pretend that HE is the Nazi.

    None of this says that there aren’t people who call themselves white nationalists who hate Jews. I’ve met them. I’ve argued with them. I’ve had hate campaigns against me run by them for my support of Jews and of Israel. But these deluded freaks are massively outnumbered by progressive, leftist Jew haters. They really are. For every one of them I have encountered, I have encountered 10 or 20 people who hate BOTH Jews and ‘the Right’, who are ready to say Jews OR European or European descended whites are the font of all evil. Hating Jews goes hand in hand with hating American history or Christians or white people or men or straight people or ‘trans exclusionary’ people or The British Empire or anything else progressives hate…..because progressives are Marxists.

    Nationalism means loving your nation, NOT hating Jews or being destined to become a Nazi or being undistinguished from one. Nationalism just as often, perhaps more often and at its core, means OPPOSING rulers who hurt your people as it means following those leaders to war. Where does ‘don’t step on me’ say, ‘step on the Jews’? It doesn’t. But supporting Hamas says step on the Jews. Similarly no real nationalist wants an all powerful State abusing its people. A real nationalist sees the freedom of his people as sacred. But every ideology derived from Marxism, including progressivism, wants an all powerful State.

    And Marxism is built on finding broad categories to blame regardless of evidence to the contrary. It’s the most successful conspiracy theory template in history other than blaming the Jews. It’s given birth to Fascism, Nazism, Progressivism and Globalism, all of which ultimately support total State power and the eradication of groups, histories, loyalties or truths considered to stand in the way of that project. Progressivism just ties racial grievance and the historical grievances of minority groups to pulling the same cart that economic grievance pulls. Another horse pulls the tumbrels forward, but they are going to the same place.

    And the same bastards sit driving the cart, flicking whips of false labels at anyone who would stop it. These people are not one category, so I cannot be accused of doing the same as Marxism. There are rich ones and poor ones, black ones and white ones, some Jews and many, many non Jews, some who call themselves Christians and some who are fanatical Muslims, but one thing is the thing they have in common.

    They learned their thinking and their tactics their propaganda and their excuses, from Marxism. They learned the victim and oppressor reductionism from Marxism. They learned the grievance obsession from Marxism. They learned their love of total State power from Marxism. They learned to call everyone else a Nazi from Marxism, and they learned how to exploit Hitler’s ghost from Marxism. Every single time.
