  1. I don’t know what to think about this. Why is the President tinkering with fake money? And if one argues that it is not fake why tinker, still?

Is it to drain liquidity from other cryptos? Is it an experiment to create crypto, pump it then pay U.S government debt? (silly thought, I agree.) Is it to drain liquidity from real money, precious metals? Is it just a self-serving money maker ?(which I don’t even enjoy saying).

Whatever the reason for it, I cannot help but sense its portent to chaos on matters financial and economic in 2025.

    • Well it is Zero Hedge, so enough salt to keep fish fresh.

Another way to look at it is a lottery ticket. If people want to pay extra taxes, that’s great so long as it is not a compulsory tax.

    • No she hasn’t been kicked out of the WEF. She is on sabbatical. Perhaps getting her teeth whitened, working at losing a few pounds, or maybe working with a voice coach.

  2. Just 10 percent of Americans oppose President Donald Trump’s promise to deport illegal migrants with criminal records, according to an Ipsos poll for the New York Times.

In contrast, 87 percent support the deportations strongly or “somewhat,” so providing a broad consensus for a national enforcement campaign.

And just 19 percent of Americans — fewer than one in five — strongly oppose “deporting all immigrants who are here illegally,” the Ipsos poll also showed. Fifty-six percent support the deportations strongly or somewhat.

The inauguration will feature many of the most prominent Silicon Valley leaders, including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew, and Google’s Pichai.

While other big tech platforms have tried to steer right in the aftermath of Trump’s landslide election, Google reportedly planned to cohost a social event with Democrat super PAC Priorities USA, as those affiliated with the super PAC sought to “resist the Republican agenda.”

  4. I am more concerned with the numbers of people who have been imported into Canada under this Liberal/NDP government roaming our streets, WARNING, WARNING! WARNING what they intend.

Al Qaeda’s “Lord of War”, Abdul Azim Ali Musa bin Ali, head of all logistics for Al Qaeda’s external operatives training and deploying out of AFGHANISTAN has provided hundreds of passports with fake IDs, to Al Qaeda members and arranged their travels to Europe, USA and who knows where.

Nothing will surprise me. We have been put in a very vulnerable position by these left loon fascists globalists. Their old saying was Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, now it is just Reduce, Reduce, Reduce human life.

So there are possibly 76,000+ Al Qaeda members worldwide…………..what will the fascist government tell us next? Stay home, Stay safe, Stay alive.

  5. Border Czar Tom Homan Says Raids on Sanctuary Cities to Deport Illegals May be Paused After Plan Was Leaked

President Donald Trump’s Border Czar, Tom Homan, has said the immigration raids on “Sanctuary Cities,” including Chicago and New York, may be placed on pause after details about the plan were leaked to the media.

On Friday, it was reported that Immigration and Customs Enforcement was preparing to launch a “big f–king operation” in sanctuary cities on Tuesday — just one day after Trump’s inauguration.

The Wall Street Journal reported that over 200 ICE agents would be deployed to Chicago alone.

ICE Preparing ‘Big F–king Operation’ Raiding Sanctuary Cities IMMEDIATELY After Trump is Inaugurated, According to Report

Homan appeared to confirm the report during an appearance on Fox News later in the day.

“It’s going to be a big raid all across the country,” Homan said.

“Chicago is just one of many places. We’ve got 24 [ICE] field offices across the country. On Tuesday, ICE is finally going to go out and do their job. We’re going to take the handcuffs off ICE and let them go arrest criminal aliens. That’s what’s going to happen.”

Homan explained that ICE will “enforce immigration law without apology” but “concentrate on the worst first.”

Though they may focus on the “worst,” Homan said, “no one’s off the table.”

“If they’re in the country illegally, they got a problem,” Homan said.

However, on Saturday, Homan told the Washington Post that leaks put law enforcement officers at “great risk.”

“We’re looking at this leak and will make a decision based on this leak,” Homan said. “It’s unfortunate because anyone leaking law enforcement operations puts officers at great risk.”

Homan told the paper that he did not know why Chicago “became a focus of attention” when enforcement is planned nationwide.

“ICE will start arresting public safety threats and national security threats on day one,” Homan said. “We’ll be arresting people across the country, uninhibited by any prior administration guidelines. Why Chicago was mentioned specifically, I don’t know.”

“This is nationwide thing,” he continued. “We’re not sweeping neighborhoods. We have a targeted enforcement plan.”

    • I can think of several reasons for the new Administration to leak the info, self deportation springs to mind, as does watching to see when the others run to.

  6. Assault Weapons: Federal & State Regulations in Light of Bruen ~ DEEP DIVE
Ammoland Inc. Posted on January 19, 2025 by Ammoland Editors & Staff

This Deep Dive is based on the excellent document “Second Amendment Law Applied to Attachments and Modifications to Firearms By Christopher R. Estock,” which was published in association with the Firearms Research Center.

    ::::

The debate over “assault weapons” is more heated than ever, especially after the landmark Bruen decision by the Supreme Court. Let’s dive into what this means for gun owners and the ongoing battle over gun rights in America.
    What’s an ‘Assault Weapon’ Anyway?

First off, the term “assault weapon” gets thrown around a lot, but what does it actually mean?

Legally, it varies—a lot. Federal and state governments can’t seem to agree on a single definition. Some say it’s about features like telescopic stocks and pistol grips, while others list specific models. Federally, it’s about specific features that make a firearm more like those used by the military, such as pistol grips and telescopic stocks. This confusion isn’t just a headache—it affects every gun owner’s rights. States like California and New York define them through an even stricter lens, creating a complex patchwork of laws that can confuse even the most informed gun enthusiasts.
    Federal Rules on Assault Weapons

At the federal level, guns like the AR-15 are often labeled as “assault weapons” based on their features—think detachable magazines and military-style components. But here’s the kicker: the specifics are mushy. The rules can be about whether a rifle has one, two, or more of certain features like a folding stock or a grenade launcher attachment.

The federal approach often feels broad and inconsistently applied, leading to significant debate over its effectiveness and fairness.
State By State: A Patchwork of Laws

States like California and New York take it even further. They’ve got their own lists and rules that make the federal guidelines look lax. For instance, California’s regulations include extensive definitions that classify many semi-automatic weapons as assault weapons based on their features alone, often creating a more restrictive environment than found at the federal level.
    The Bruen Decision’s Impact

Post-Bruen, the legal landscape is shifting. The Supreme Court’s decision insists that any gun regulation must be rooted in historical tradition—meaning a lot of modern gun control measures could be on shaky ground. This decision could lead to a rollback of some of the more restrictive state regulations on what they call “assault weapons.”
    Engage with the Full Story

For those intrigued by these developments, diving deeper into the specifics is crucial. I recommend listening to our detailed discussion in the accompanying audio file and reviewing the original document, “Second Amendment Law Applied to Attachments and Modifications to Firearms,” which inspired this conversation. Both are embedded in this article. They provide a thorough exploration of the legal intricacies and potential implications of the evolving landscape of gun control.
    Final Shots

As the dust settles, one thing is clear: the fight over “assault weapons” is far from over. With states pushing back against federal guidelines and the Supreme Court setting new precedents, gun owners need to stay informed and engaged.

Knowing your rights—and the ongoing changes to these rights—is more crucial than ever.

  7. Trump Confirms Plan to Disband the Department of Education in Bold Push for Localized Control

President-elect Donald Trump has reaffirmed his commitment to dismantle the U.S. Department of Education.

This initiative aligns with his broader strategy to eliminate federal overreach and promote conservative values within the nation’s schools.

Established in 1979 under President Jimmy Carter, the Department of Education has long been criticized for its expansive bureaucracy, indoctrination, and promotion of woke agendas.

Conservatives argue that the department has strayed from its original mission, imposing policies that undermine parental rights and local control.

Trump’s plan to abolish the department reflects a return to constitutional principles, emphasizing that education should be managed at the state and local levels.

Central to this initiative is the promotion of school choice, allowing parents to select the best educational settings for their children, whether public, private, or charter schools.

By redirecting federal funds directly to families, Trump aims to foster competition and improve educational outcomes nationwide. This approach not only empowers parents but also holds schools accountable to the communities they serve.

During ‘Make America Great Again Victory Rally’ on inauguration eve, Trump confirmed his plan to abolish the Department of Education.

“I said to Linda, ‘Linda, I’m making you the Secretary of Education. But if you do a great job, you will put yourself out of a job because you’re going to be sending it back to the states.’”
