UPDATE: When I clicked on the link, the black X page opened up. And then, a small scrolling bar appeared on the bottom right-hand corner, scrolling feverishly at massive speed. I tried to intercept it but it moved to the left corner, and on it went without stopping.
I shut down my computer, waited, and started it again. Everything is fine except the X page. Same story. I can’t open my X account. I went to Firefox bookmarks and lo and behold, I saw the ‘url’ and deleted it at all places visible.
Whatever it was that popped into my computer when I clicked on that LINK IN BLUE, it had picked up and erased all and everything of my Firefox activity on this computer all the way to 2016.
I’m OK now. It’s a good thing that I don’t save my passwords. – End.

This reminds me of the case of a 13-year-old named Aisha Ibrahim Dhuhulow.
She was raised a Muslim, but, her village had recently been taken over by Jihadists with a more literal application of Sharia.
She had been gang raped by several men, so with her family, she went to the Mosque and demanded justice.
The new Imam praised her honesty and love of justice and sentenced her to be stoned to death – because under Sharia, that is indeed justice.
The sentence was being carried out in a nearby sports field, with the whole village herded in to witness justice being carried out.
The villagers demanded Aisha’s release and even rushed the field in an attempt to save her. The jihadists open fired into the crowd, injuring many and killing several people, including a young boy.
