  1. There is a well-known music store located in the shadow of the parliament buildings in Ottawa called Steve’s Music. It has been in the same location for about 45 years, from what I understand.

In the last few years, or better said under the Trudeau regime, there has been a dramatic increase in drug addicts in this area. They group together on the sidewalks and in the alcoves of the shops to shoot up or smoke their poisons. In fact, so numerous and intimidating has their presence become that it is impossible to go to this store without having to pass through this crowd of zombies. It was particularly uncomfortable when I went there to get supplies with my musical son, or just to look at the nice guitars. This is something we have enjoyed doing together for years.

Yesterday Steve’s Music announced it is closing this location and moving. The situation has become too dangerous for its customers, it says. It is forced now to buzz people in one at a time, like at a jewelry shop, to prevent the incursion of zombies. Other long-time businesses on Rideau Street also say they are packing up. A few restaurants and an old clothing retailer have said so.

I realize that many larger cities across North America are suffering the same zombie apocalypse. Still, I cannot fathom the socialist mindset that chooses destruction of society over deploying police to do their job and enforce the law to defend tax paying, law-abiding businesses and individuals.

What remains is the conclusion that incompetence of such proportions by our Mayor and city council is not possible, and that the destruction of our social fabric is by design.

  2. BREAKING: Did Russia and China Sever NATO Cables to Block an Attack and Delay World War 3?

In a move that could have seismic implications for NATO’s strategic capabilities, two critical undersea communication cables in the Baltic Sea—lifelines of military coordination among NATO allies—were severed in what increasingly appears to be a calculated act of hybrid warfare. The timing of these incidents, coming mere hours after the Biden administration authorized Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied ATACMS long-range missiles against Russian targets, raises the unmistakable specter of a coordinated response by Russia, with China’s complicity, aimed at halting NATO’s ability to act decisively during a crucial moment in this escalating conflict.

The severing of these cables appears to be more than a mere act of sabotage. It may well represent a brilliant and calculated geopolitical move designed to delay NATO’s escalation until President Donald J. Trump, known for his aversion to endless wars and commitment to diplomacy, is sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on January 20, 2025.

    A Timeline That Demands Attention

November 16, 2024: The Biden administration authorizes Ukraine to employ long-range ATACMS missiles to strike Russian targets, marking a significant escalation in the U.S.’s involvement in the war.
November 17, 2024: The first of two undersea cables, the BCS East-West Interlink connecting Lithuania and Sweden, is severed.
November 18, 2024: The C-Lion1 cable, which links Finland and Germany, is also cut.

The proximity of these events is impossible to ignore. Within 48 hours of the Biden administration’s decision, NATO’s communication capabilities were significantly disrupted in a strategic region critical to European and global security.

The Suspect: China’s Bulk Carrier Yi Peng 3

Enter the Chinese bulk carrier Yi Peng 3. Anchored suspiciously in international waters near the sites of both cable cuts, this vessel has been identified as a potential actor in the disruptions. Investigators suspect the ship’s massive anchor, potentially weighing several tons, was deliberately dragged across the seabed, ripping through these vital cables.

Despite Sweden’s urgent requests, the ship has remained anchored in place, with no indication that China will permit it to move into Swedish waters for inspection. Nor has any authority been allowed to board the vessel. This steadfast refusal to cooperate heightens suspicions of China’s involvement in what could be a coordinated act of sabotage in league with Russia.

A Strategic Disruption of NATO Coordination

The severing of the C-Lion1 and BCS East-West Interlink cables has left NATO temporarily reliant on slower and less secure backup systems, such as satellite communications. These cables are not mere civilian communication lines; they are the backbone of NATO’s real-time military coordination between its Nordic and Baltic allies. By severing these lines, Russia and China have potentially achieved several strategic objectives:

    Preventing a Coordinated NATO Attack:

The ATACMS authorization opened the door for Ukraine to strike deeper into Russian territory with precision-guided missiles, a move that likely prompted Moscow to fear an immediate escalation. By disrupting NATO’s ability to coordinate long-range strikes and joint operations, Russia has effectively bought time to regroup and respond without the looming threat of synchronized NATO aggression.

    Demonstrating NATO’s Vulnerability:

This act underscores NATO’s reliance on undersea infrastructure and its vulnerability to hybrid warfare. The inability to restore real-time communication quickly between key member states like Finland, Germany, Lithuania, and Sweden places NATO in a precarious position during this critical window.

    Delaying Escalation Until January 2025:

With President Donald Trump poised to take office in less than two months, Russia and China may see this as an opportunity to stall NATO’s war machine. Trump’s track record of avoiding entanglements and seeking diplomatic solutions could mean a potential cooling of tensions in the new year—a stark contrast to the escalation strategy pursued under the Biden administration.

    How Critical Were These Cables?

C-Lion1 (Finland-Germany): A high-capacity line enabling secure communications and data transfer between Nordic countries and NATO’s central command in Germany. This cable is integral for military logistics and real-time decision-making.
BCS East-West Interlink (Lithuania-Sweden): Provides vital connectivity between the Baltic states and NATO-aligned Sweden, crucial for regional security in a region bordering Russia.

The loss of these cables has effectively hampered NATO’s ability to synchronize responses, share intelligence, and execute operations in the Baltic Sea, a theater of immense strategic importance. For Russia, this creates a temporary but critical advantage.

Trending: Gavin Newsom and His Wife’s Thanksgiving Message Blows Up in Their Faces as They are Hit with Brutal Reality Checks Including Where the Video was Filmed (VIDEO)

The Deliberate Success of Hybrid Warfare

The methods used—deliberately dragging a multi-ton anchor across undersea cables—are both rudimentary and effective. Given the size of the anchor and the shallow waters of the Baltic Sea, the likelihood of completely severing these cables was extraordinarily high. This was not an act of chance; it was a calculated move designed to ensure maximum disruption.

    Repair Timeline: A Strategic Delay

Repairing undersea cables of this importance is no small feat. Current estimates suggest that full restoration could take 6–8 weeks, pushing the completion date to late January 2025 or beyond. During this time, NATO’s ability to respond to any Russian aggression remains severely compromised, leaving member states vulnerable and divided.

This delay plays directly into the hands of Russia and China, giving them a critical window to consolidate their positions and deter further escalation.

Conclusion: A Masterstroke of Strategic Timing

The severing of these undersea cables appears to be a masterstroke of hybrid warfare, executed with precision timing and strategic intent. By crippling NATO’s communications and coordination capabilities in the Baltic Sea, Russia and China have forced the alliance to pause and consider its vulnerabilities. This move buys critical time for both nations—time to avoid further escalation until a Trump administration potentially reorients U.S. foreign policy toward diplomacy over war.

The Biden administration’s authorization of ATACMS strikes may have been the spark, but the severing of NATO’s critical infrastructure could very well be the fuse that prevents the flames from spreading further—at least for now.

For Russia and China, this is more than a tactical victory; it is a demonstration of how hybrid warfare can tilt the balance in a conflict where every second counts.

  3. Incoming Border Czar Tom Homan Says Trump Administration Will Investigate Foreign Countries and NGOs Behind Border Invasion
    thegatewaypundit.com/2024/11/incoming-border-czar-tom-homan-says-trump-administration/
    Nov. 30, 2024 7:30 am
Former ICE Director and incoming Trump administration border czar Tom Homan is already making waves with bold promises to secure America’s southern border.

In an interview on Fox News, incoming Trump Border Czar Tom Homan laid out an aggressive and detailed plan to combat the border crisis and restore order after what he called “four years of disastrous open-border policies” under the Biden administration.

Speaking with former Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway on the Hannity show, Homan promised to hold foreign governments, NGOs, and even elements of the United Nations accountable for their roles in fueling the migrant surge.

Homan said that the groundwork for securing the border has already begun, even before President-elect Trump takes office on January 20th. He is already coordinating with Texas Governor Greg Abbott to secure the southern border.

Homan: “Governor Abbott and I are not waiting until January 20th. I’ve been out in Texas. We’re already meeting and planning how we can work together to help Texas secure their border at the highest level ever.

He’s done a great job. Illegal migration in Texas is down 86% because he has implemented many of Trump’s policies. He’s building border barriers like President Trump did, adding consequences for those who cross the border illegally, and arresting them for trespassing.”

People need to understand the Department of Public Safety (DPS) has done a lot. Not only is the government taking action to protect Texas, but they are also protecting the United States because most of these illegal aliens aren’t staying in Texas; they are moving across the country.

Every ounce of fentanyl intercepted means fewer overdose deaths. Every person arrested for trespassing is one less “gotaway.” They are fingerprinted, vetted, and at least we know they’re not terrorists. We’re going to follow this model across the Southwest border.”

Homan highlighted Texas as the blueprint for a nationwide strategy. He plans to contract out non-enforcement work, such as transportation and administrative duties, to free up officers for frontline deportation operations.

Homan: “My plan, which I’ve been very vocal about, is to contract out as much work as we can—work that doesn’t require a badge and a gun—because I need badges and guns on the street for deportation operations.

For example, transportation, whether it’s buses, ground, or air, as well as processing and administrative duties, should be contracted out. Right now, we have officers doing that work. I want to get them out of those administrative roles and onto the streets.

If these sanctuary states and cities keep pushing back, I’ll deploy extra resources and double manpower in those areas. When we can’t arrest someone in jail with one agent, it means we have to send a whole team out into the field to find that person, which increases risk.

This is the plan we’re putting together. Governor Abbott was the first to come to the table, and I accepted, shook his hand, and said, “Let’s go. Let’s move forward.””

Homan slammed the Biden administration’s immigration policies, accusing them of creating a humanitarian crisis.

He also revealed Trump’s administration’s intent to dig deeper into the forces behind the crisis.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that the House Judiciary GOP has exposed what they call an “open-borders alliance” between the Biden-Harris Administration and United Nations bureaucrats that uses U.S. taxpayer dollars to enable illegal immigration.

The findings reveal that at least $81.7 million in taxpayer funds have been allocated to foreign nationals employed by the U.N., who advise migrants on ways to enter the United States.

This funding has established “migration centers” across Central and South America, facilitating nearly 70,000 aliens with potential resettlement options in the U.S.

According to the report, since 2021, the Biden-Harris Administration has overseen the release of nearly 5.8 million illegal immigrants into the U.S., with an additional 1.9 million entering as “gotaways” who evaded apprehension entirely.

Trending: Gavin Newsom and His Wife’s Thanksgiving Message Blows Up in Their Faces as They are Hit with Brutal Reality Checks Including Where the Video was Filmed (VIDEO)

The GOP committee argues that these numbers illustrate an administration bent on dismantling border security. Instead of fixing the problem, the administration has created a workaround through the Safe Mobility Initiative—a program designed to “avoid the optics of border crossings” by coordinating with U.N. agents in 13 Central and South American cities.

Kellyanne Conway: Tom Homan, you were a great colleague during the first Trump administration. You were one of the first appointees President Trump named because he takes border security very seriously.

When I interviewed you for Here’s the Deal on Fox Nation, you made it clear that Biden and Harris are the first administration in a long time not to secure the border. Why would a commander-in-chief take steps to leave the border unsecured?

    Tom Homan:
Biden is the first president in history to intentionally leave the border unsecured—not because of mismanagement or incompetence, but by design. They want an open border because they believe these millions of people will be future Democratic voters.

Biden overturned the Trump census rule, which means people in sanctuary cities will be counted in the next census. This translates to more House seats for Democrats.

When the Trump team returns on January 20th, we’ll take control and hold people accountable. We’ll investigate what the United Nations had to do with this crisis, who in the Biden administration enabled it, and which NGOs were involved. We’ll be transparent and tell the American people the truth about this border crisis.

A Southern California mayor sounded an alarm Nov. 25 that complying with federal deportations could violate California’s sanctuary law and put police officers in his city at risk of losing their jobs and their pensions.

Mayor Bill Wells of El Cajon, about 40 miles from the Mexico border in San Diego County, claims the city police face misdemeanor charges in California if they cooperate with federal authorities to deport illegal immigrants.

Although El Cajon is not a sanctuary city, California’s sanctuary law prohibits cooperation with federal immigration officers in most cases.

  5. Violence Finds A Way
    By Tom Knighton | 5:30 PM | November 29, 2024
    AP Photo/Patrick Semansky, File

Gun control advocates argue that the laws they propose will save lives. A great example of just how they do that can be found in a couple of pieces Ranjit wrote earlier this week (Part 1 and Part 2, because there was just that much stupid).

Through it all, the core claim is that without guns, we wouldn’t have problems. There’s a lot they ignore, up to and including how the United States has a higher non-gun homicide rather than many other developed nations, which suggests that maybe guns aren’t the problem.

The truth is that if someone is a violent individual, they’re going to be a violent individual. Guns aren’t cursed objects from a fantasy game that will drive the bearer into a homicidal rage based exclusively on the evil it emanates. That’s not how it works and anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together knows that.

Instead, people shift to other methods of committing violence.

For example, how about this story out of super gun-controlled Britain?

Two Mongrel Mob members and one associate have been arrested after a man was allegedly shot through the leg with a spear gun in front of his young children in Hamilton late last week, leaving him critically injured.

Police received multiple calls about an incident on Coates St in Hamilton East at around 11.30am on Saturday.

A man had been putting his young children into his car when he was approached by two unknown males wearing Mongrel Mob regalia, a police spokesperson said.

“Words were exchanged before the man was then assaulted.

“The victim’s partner, along with a member of the public tried to step in to protect the victim.”

Two associates of the offenders began to assault the victim’s partner before one of them left and returned with a spear gun.

The spokesperson said this spear gun was given to one of the gang members, who then shot the victim through the leg with the spear gun. The gang members then left the area.

    That’s right. A spear gun.

    That’s fishing tackle, basically.

Yet this violent individual nearly killed a man with it.

Back in 2018, I wrote about a case here that has stuck with me all these years later. A man beat four members of his family to death. Two elderly people, a 42-year-old woman, and a 15-year-old girl.

See, the problem with gun control is that it revolves around blaming guns for the problem. It completely ignores literally everything else that can be used as a weapon simply because most violent people prefer to use a firearm.

But there’s a flip side here.

See, guns don’t have a volition of their own. They don’t have political opinions or any opinions. They’re lumps of steel, polymer, or whatever materials used to make them. They are tools, and as such, they are incapable of thought. That means they will serve evil, but it also means they serve good.

They serve the 73-year-old grandmother who has watched her once middle-class neighborhood become a bastion of lawlessness and who fears for her safety. It serves the 34-year-old battered wife who has finally found it within herself to leave her abusive husband, but lives in fear that he’ll find her and try to kill her. It serves the law-abiding all the time.

In fact, it serves the law-abiding far more often than it serves the criminal.

And the criminal? The violent thug determined to hurt others? They’ll find a way because violence is like life. It always finds a way.

Texas DPS find illegal aliens in the brush in Hidalgo County on 11/29/24

With less than two months to go until President Trump is sworn into office, the Biden/Harris regime is doing everything they can to make the southern border worse than it currently is.

Texas DPS this past week tracked three illegal aliens from Mexico in the brush in Hidalgo County. Two of them were wearing cartel wristbands. The smuggler, who was with the other illegals, was arrested by the DPS.

A group of 289 illegal aliens in Maverick County were apprehended this week, including seven “special interest aliens” from Iran which, were handled by the Border Patrol.

As troubling as these statistics are, the most disturbing are the unaccompanied children who cross the border. TGP reported this week of a 10-year-old boy from El Salvador, who was abandoned by his smuggler and found by the DPS wandering alone in distress.

Over the last four years under Biden-Harris, the US Constitution has been intentionally ignored as they have let in millions of illegal aliens in an attempt to fundamentally transform the demographics of the US. Article IV, Section 4 gives the US Government the responsibility to protect the border from invasion.

“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.” Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution.

  7. How We Know Guns Aren’t Albuquerque’s Problem
    By Tom Knighton | 8:30 AM | November 30, 2024
Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office via AP

When New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham took her animosity toward the Second Amendment and ramped it up to 11, trying to ban all lawful carry in Albuquerque, she said it was in response to the rampant violent crime in the city. She called it a public health crisis and used the draconian restrictions we saw during COVID-19 to justify this particular draconian measure.

And, of course, she got slapped down over it.

But it’s clear that she never got the message regarding the right to keep and bear arms nor the fact that while the city does have a problem, it’s not guns that are causing it.

In fact, it’s probably something else fueling a lot of the problems.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office seized 65,000 fentanyl pills and three guns on Tuesday during a search of an apartment off East Central.

Richard Cortez, 44, who authorities say lived in the apartment, is charged with drug trafficking and three counts of possession of a firearm by a felon.

Michael Herrera, 18, who was inside the apartment at the time of the raid, is charged with resisting, evading or obstructing an officer for not surrendering “for over 30 minutes.”

Both men were booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center. Neither man had an attorney listed in online court records.

Court records show Cortez was sentenced to prison for drug trafficking in 2010 and for years afterward bounced between prison and probation after repeated violations.

In 2016, a BCSO deputy arrested Cortez on felony drug possession, according to court records. Cortez faced another potential prison stretch, but the case was dismissed, and Cortez was set free after the deputy didn’t show up for court.

Prosecutors filed a motion to detain Cortez until trial following Tuesday’s seizure, calling him “dangerous.”

“The defendant is a major dealer of fentanyl in the Albuquerque area,” according to the motion. “He had three firearms ready for use.”

How could he possibly have gotten guns? Gun control laws are in place to prevent people like this from getting guns, after all.

Then again, there are laws intended to prevent people from getting 65,000 fentanyl pills, too, and we see how well they worked.

See, the issue with most violent crime is that the violence is often ancillary to something else. In the 1990s, when the homicide rate was so ridiculous, it was gangs and drugs. To some degree, that’s still the case. Convicted felons aren’t reformed, they’re just put back on the streets where they seek out ways to continue with their previous criminal endeavors.

In this case, Cortez was a known felon with a long and prodigious history as a criminal, only to be able to become a “major dealer of fentanyl in the Albuquerque area.”

It looks to me like putting him right back on the streets time and time again wasn’t really doing all that much, and knowing a deputy didn’t show up for court in 2016, which got his case dismissed makes it that much worse.

Let’s remember something, folks. If fentanyl is so heavily controlled–and yes, it is–and people like this jackwagon can get it, why does anyone believe you can keep someone like this disarmed? What makes them think that suddenly a law will be passed that will make it so he can’t get firearms from any source?

    It’s insane.

Then again, what about gun control isn’t?
