Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. Neil Oliver interviews heavyweight Ed Dowd. He’s always interesting. He says if we don’t see a recall of the mRNA injections in the first six months of the new administration then something is very wrong. He’s watching Elon Musk warily.

    Since the 2021 injection roll-out 1.2 American excess deaths, four-standard increased deviation of disabled workers in the first year (two million), chronic absences skyrocket, 18% greater frequency of injury in the injected arm over the placebo arm, 33 million injured, disabled and dead in the U.S., 8-15 million dead globally from injections, 40-60 million disabled globally, 500-900 million injured globally. The effects of the mRNA is expected to continue for another 10 years.

    At the 33:00 mark he focuses on economics, saying the reason for the plandemic, wars, climate change propaganda and whatever the culprits come up with including alien invasion is to avoid responsibility for the fiscal malfeasance the politicians and bankers are guilty of on a scale never before seen in the history of humanity.

    December 10, 2018, much to the chagrin of many Canadians, Immigration Minister, Ahmed Hussen, signs The UN’s Global Migration Pact for SAFE, ORDERLY and Regular Migration.

    Canadian appointee, Louise Arbour, the UN’s special representative for International Migration, has argued that signing on to the pact will equip countries to better reap the economic benefits of migration.

    The World Economic Forum has argued the pact will benefit all countries.

    How much of Canadian taxpayers money has gone to this global migration plan? Who is better off? Do Canadians still feel safe walking the streets? What input did Canadians have regarding the Global Migration Pact?

    Police body camera footage from an incident on Arizona State University’s campus where Ruby Halperin, the daughter of Trump-Endorsed Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake, was assaulted by an anti-Trump so-called transgender leftist has been uncovered.

    The assailant was seen fleeing the scene in a red shirt and black pants after approaching Halperin and dumping his drink on her because he “saw a Trump stand,” he said. “As a trans-woman, I did not feel comfortable with it. Seeing that everywhere like really hurt me,” he later told police.

    As The Gateway Pundit exclusively reported last month, the police report revealed that “Rebecca” Kimpel, an ASU film and production student, was cited and released with one count of assault after admitting that he attacked Halperin over her political views.

    Notably, in the police report, ASU police report identifies the male attacker as a female and denies that his attack was a hate crime. The Gateway Pundit discovered Kimmel’s social media pages, which show he is a clearly disturbed male pretending to be a female.

    Halperin previously told The Gateway Pundit, “I think it’s a total violation of voter registration rights, and I believe it was an attempt to intimidate those registering to vote that day.”

    In the clips below, provided to The Gateway Pundit by local investigative journalist Brian Anderson, Kimpel admits that the attack was politically motivated and refuses to provide his contact information to the officer.

    “It was not that bad. It was really just — I saw a Trump stand and, as a trans woman, I did not feel comfortable with it. I really — seeing that everywhere really, like, hurt me,” Kimpel said when the officer came to his door.

    WATCH:

    The officer later notified Kimpel that he was not going to be arrested and advised him on how to proceed in his court hearing. “You just say you just got frustrated about the whole Trump stuff,” the officer told Kimpel before asking him to get dressed and meet him outside.

    Kimpel then refused to provide a phone number to the officer, telling him, “Let’s go, I don’t f*cking remember it… It’s really long and a lot of numbers.”

    It is unclear what action, if any, the school has taken to discipline the student. If it was a conservative student attacking a leftist on campus, they’d surely be arrested, unlike Kimpel, and further expelled.

    Kari Lake responded to the footage noting that the mainstream media refuses to cover the story and saying she hopes the individual “gets help.”

    Lake further responded to the hate and violence against Trump supporters and her daughter earlier this month during an election day press conference on November 5 while her son was casting his vote.

  7. Why Trump Really Should ‘Buy’ Greenland
    As the island pursues independence, the U.S. can step in to safeguard Western interests from growing global threats.

    During President Donald Trump’s first term, the foreign-policy elite expressed dismay at his public flirtation with “buying” Greenland from Denmark. In his second term, Mr. Trump should pick up right where he left off.
    Greenland’s strategic location in the North Atlantic has made its acquisition a topic of discussion among U.S. strategists since the 19th century. Then-Secretary of State William Seward first pursued buying the world’s largest island in 1867. Talk about annexation surfaced anew during World War II, when Denmark surrendered to Nazi Germany and the U.S. occupied Greenland.
    Today, despite the guffaws of foreign-policy mandarins, recent changes to the North Atlantic’s geopolitical reality make a formal relationship between Washington and Nuuk—Greenland’s capital city—necessary.
    First, Greenlanders are moving toward independence from Denmark. The 2009 Greenland Self-Government Act establishes significant autonomy for the island, including some leeway to conduct its own foreign affairs. Greenland’s February 2024 foreign, security and defense policy says independence is the ultimate objective. But Greenland is the least densely populated political entity in the world. If it separates from Denmark, it would be responsible for its own security, a task it is ill-equipped to handle.
    This is a grave concern given the second important development: Russia and China are threatening the status quo in the Arctic. Moscow has claimed significant chunks of the Arctic Sea, including inside Greenland’s Exclusive Economic Zone. Russian survey ships have encroached on Greenland’s waters, and Russia is expanding its Arctic bases and formidable icebreaker fleet. China has declared itself a “near-Arctic state,” established a shipping network called the “Polar Silk Road” to bind Arctic communities closer to Beijing’s economic and political agenda, and built its own fleet of icebreakers.
    Finally, Greenland is believed to have significant natural resources, including gold, silver, copper, oil, uranium and rare earth minerals. This is an opportunity for adversaries to exploit the resources with little regard for local communities or environmental concerns. An independent Greenland would be unable to resist coercive extraction of the kind practiced by China and Russia.
    The U.S. can offer an option that preserves Greenland’s sovereignty while protecting it from malign actors. The U.S. has used Compacts of Free Association for decades with three small island states in the Pacific. These COFAs allow Micronesia, Palau and the Marshall Islands full independence and the power to conduct their own foreign relations while also giving the U.S. military access and requiring Washington to provide for their defense. The U.S. also gives economic support.
    As Greenland looks to separate from Denmark, the U.S. should be ready with a hand extended. Western security and economic interests would be threatened if an independent Greenland surrounded by predatory foreign actors lacked outside protection. Mr. Trump has the chance to negotiate the deal of the century.
    Mr. Gray is a senior fellow at the American Foreign Policy Council and served as chief of staff of the White House National Security Council, 2019-21.

    Originally conceived and authored by Knife Rights in 2010 and introduced in 2013 as the first proactive pro-knife federal legislation in the nation’s history, Knife Rights’ Knife Owners’ Protection Act of 2024, H.R. 10178 and S. 5358. (KOPA), has been introduced by Rep. Andy Biggs and Sen. Mike Lee with co-sponsors Reps. Jeff Duncan and Andy Ogles.
    KOPA would protect law-abiding knife owners traveling throughout the U.S. from the vagaries of restrictive state and local laws. If possession of the knife is legal where the journey starts and ends, and provided the knife is secured in accordance with KOPA, a knife owner would no longer be threatened with arrest simply for traveling from one place to another, even if passing through a jurisdiction where the knife is illegal.     This represents the first step in this latest effort to work towards passage of this important legislation, an example of Knife Rights’ perseverance that’s required to get bills passed. With the election of Donald Trump and a Republican majority in both houses of Congress next session, 2025 may be the year to get this done. These bills tee up KOPA for next year.

    Rep. Biggs said, “The government must not discourage interstate travel and commerce by subjecting law-abiding knife owners to the fear of prosecution under the myriad patchwork of state and local knife laws. Americans are guaranteed the right to protect themselves, their families, and their businesses by the Second Amendment, and we must ensure that those rights are protected. I’m thankful for Senator Lee’s leadership on this issue in the Senate and for the support of my colleagues as we work to move this bill through Congress.”

    Knife Rights Chairman Doug Ritter said, “Those who travel this country with knives for work, recreation and self-defense are presently subject to arrest and prosecution under a confusing patchwork of inconsistent state and local laws. What is perfectly legal in one place may be a serious crime in another, resulting in forfeiture of the knife and carrying significant penalties including jail time. Enforcement is not uniform even within jurisdictions and is too often subject to the vagaries of political expediency.”

    Knife Rights developed the Knife Owners’ Protection Act to address this absurd situation in a commonsense manner that is fair and equitable and is based on established legislative and legal precedent.

    We’ve fought hard to repeal bans on knife possession and carry in the individual states, cities and towns, but despite 49 bills repealing knife bans in 31 states and over 200 cities and towns, as well as a number of court victories, that fight is hardly finished. KOPA represents a key initiative to protect law-abiding knife owners simply passing through areas where possessing a commonly owned knife may result in arrest and prosecution.
    The current situation with knives is similar to the circumstances with guns that existed prior to the passage of the Firearms Owner Protection Act (FOPA -18 USC 926A) in 1986 when Congress acted to protect law-abiding gun owners from a similar inconsistent patchwork of laws. FOPA insulated their travels if firearms possession was lawful at both the origin and destination of travel.

    Ritter noted “FOPA provides no protection whatsoever to knife owners, so they are defenseless from the same perils. It is entirely possible that a sportsman or woman traveling with both firearms and knives weho follows FOPA’s requirements to the letter and also locks up their knives in an abundance of caution, could be insulated against prosecution for firearms possession, yet be arrested and prosecuted for knife possession. That is a ridiculous situation. KOPA simply aims to protect knife owners in a similar manner as KOPA protects firearm owners.”

    However, hard lessons learned after years of abuse of FOPA by some courts means that unlike FOPA, KOPA has teeth to defend those who travel under its protection. KOPA provides penalties for law enforcement, prosecutors and others who ignore the protections provided. A falsely arrested person can be compensated for the expense of defending themselves from an unwarranted violation of the rights that Congress has protected in KOPA.
    KOPA also closes the many holes punched in FOPA by some anti-2A Federal circuits that coincidentally include states and cities with some of the nation’s most restrictive knife laws. Without these improvements, KOPA would not be worth the paper it is printed on in these vexatious states and cities.

    No protections would be afforded to anyone involved in criminal activity. KOPA also does not override TSA regulations; knives must be in checked baggage.
    Knife Rights continues to lead the way with proactive legislative action to defend and protect knife owners’ rights. KOPA is another example of our efforts to forge a Sharper Future for all Americans.

    • 2015-16: “Intifada of Knives”

      The latest wave of Palestinian violence against Jews is something new, an insidious wave of seemingly un-orchestrated attacks, perpetrated by unlikely assailants, and generally untraceable to any particular organization.

      They were also characterized by brutality, viciousness and randomness, and the purposeful use of the knife, to drive home the intent of bringing a new and unrelenting wave of slaughter to the Jews; a message to all Israelis that neither they, nor their children, will ever be able to live in this land in peace.

      As this document will show, the Palestinian president and those under his authority are indeed instructing young Palestinians what to do. Not sending them into battle as soldiers, but goading them into action through deliberate messaging, distortion and fabrication, sometimes stated openly by senior Palestinian officials, but mostly insidiously, aimed at keeping the conflict alive and portraying the Palestinians as the victims in a whitewash of terror.

      There is a guiding hand in all this, the Palestinian Authority and the Palestinian faction that leads it, Fatah. What is being witnessed today is the end-game of a strategy adopted by Fatah in 2009 and culminating in Mahmoud Abbas’ speech to the UN General Assembly on September 30, 2015, when he announced that the Palestinians are no longer bound by the Oslo (peace) Accords.

    • Reasons behind Israel’s Agreement to a Ceasefire with Hizbullah

      A senior Israeli official outlined the rationale behind advancing the ceasefire agreement. “First, we aim to prevent, as much as possible, a UN Security Council resolution addressing both Hizbullah and Hamas. We’re in a transitional period for the U.S. administration and we understand the complexity and sensitivity involved, so we want to avoid that. Once a resolution is passed, it becomes irreversible. Therefore, we’re doing everything to prevent it.”

      Secondly, “reserve soldiers have been engaged in over a year of fighting, moving from Lebanon to Gaza and back. We want to allow them to regroup and regain strength.”

      The third reason was severing the connection between Gaza and Lebanon. “We’re disrupting that, disconnecting the fronts, leaving Hamas isolated in the war….We hope that the strategic and diplomatic measures, combined with ongoing military pressure, will lead to a deal for releasing hostages.”

      The official added, “We remain committed to acting against Hizbullah and any threat. What’s critical is our enforcement capability and we have it….

      What’s most important is securing a side letter from the U.S. granting us the right to act when necessary – whether against terror infrastructure, missile shipments or other threats. If we identify such activities, we have the right to unleash firepower and retaliate against Hizbullah and Lebanon, including via operations beyond the Litani River. Attempts to deliver weapons from Syria to Lebanon will also warrant action.”

    • Ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah draws close

      Former Israeli ambassador to Australia Mark Sofer discusses the ceasefire negotiations between Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

      “This is the Middle East, and in the Middle East, nothing’s over until it’s over,” Mr Sofer said.

      “Hopefully, something good will come out of it, but there is no trust in Israel for Hezbollah.”

    You often hear “why don’t the IDF allow journalists into Gaza”. Here’s an interesting perspective.

    About a month ago, the IDF offered the chance of a visit to a captured Hezbollah tunnel. Amongst those who accepted were me and a small pack of journalists from Israel, Greece, the USA and Germany.

    You will notice that no major media outlets have really picked up on the story since October. There’s a reason. Hezbollah put out a statement saying that any more major outlet accepting the offer would put their colleagues in Beirut in danger from Hezbollah repercussions.

    Of course, Hezbollah are a major terrorist organisation and this is what you’d expect. But there’s a serious lack of journalistic integrity in properly reporting neither the scale and sophistication of the tunnels, nor the threats themselves.

    It means the world is only seeing the IDF airstrikes, and not understanding the “why”. It’s all part of the very effective media war these groups are fighting.

    It also shows how journalists are not safe from these terror groups. It goes a long way to explaining how Hamas in Gaza might also treat international journalists, how those journalists react to threats, and therefore why they’re not allowed in.
