Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

  2. A friend recently recounted a sad story about the Canadian freedom convoy and its dark underbelly.

    Within this great movement lurked, and still lurk, conmen using the language and ideology of freedom lovers to pose as hard-working defenders of freedom. Imposters, they use the properties extended to them by well-meaning land owners for temporary stays, but then proceed to use and abuse the owners by leveraging the landlord-tenant laws against them.

    From what I gathered from my friend, these sheisters are fully wolves in sheep’s clothing. If they are renting, they stop paying rent just a few months in. Ontario is awash in delinquent renters who exploit the laws that transform owners into kulaks. It can take many months and thousands of dollars to be rid of these parasites.

    In my friend’s case, the tenant stopped paying his very low, reasonable monthly rent after just six months (he was given a break because he was supposed to produce food as he had publicly advertised his expertise in farming). The man then disappeared to parts unknown after subletting the property to three others who paid rent to him. It is quite the nifty business model. No doubt the criminal has moved on to repeat this scam on the next unaware landowner. Such behavior would not be possible without existing laws wholly punitive to the property owner. This will hollow out property ownership in Ontario so only huge companies renting hundreds or thousands of units will have the critical mass to absorb delinquencies as a part of their business model. D8sappearing at the speed of light are the small owners.

    Often these fraudsters leave the property requiring massive cleanups and repairs. My friend chuckled bitterly as he finished telling his story. “Ironically when I finally got rid of the parasites they left behind this huge leather couch in the driveway. It was just one of many items I had to haul to the landfill.”
    “I don’t get it. What’s ironic about that?”
    “It’s all in the name.”

While it’s hard to stomach anything kind the man has to say about his repugnant brother, he does remind us of how badly people were treated in this country if they didn’t get the injection. I only wish more people became aware of the communist predators who sprouted from that time, and continue to do so.

    An Amish community in Chatsworth, Ontario, has been fined $400,000.00 for failing to use the ArriveCan app while traveling—despite the community not using smart phones or electricity, let alone applications. They also have RELIGIOUS exemptions from vaccines, making the use of such technology unnecessary and intrusive for them.

  6. Federal public health authorities didn’t know if Covid-19 vaccines would prevent transmission, but they foisted sweeping vaccine mandates on Canadians anyway. In response to an Order Paper question from Conservative MP Colin Carrie, Canada’s Parliamentary Secretary to the Health Minister has just admitted they were never certain Covid-19 vaccines prevented transmission, but implemented its vaccine mandate and SEGREGATION policies.

  7. A huge new Oxford study (Andrews et al.) of over 30,000 children found no benefit from Covid injections for children. The preprint study did, however, find that Covid vaccinated children were 20% more likely to experience an unplanned hospitalization for any cause after the first injection.

  8. Israel Disappointed at Mediators for Not Pressuring Hamas

    Israeli officials said Saturday that the U.S. should have demanded more pressure on Hamas from the mediators in Qatar and Egypt as ceasefire and hostage release deal negotiations stall. They said Qatar should expel Hamas leaders living there and freeze the terror group’s bank accounts, but instead the Americans are applying their pressure on Prime Minister Netanyahu.

    A senior Israeli official said Hamas has hardened its position and is not really interested in a deal. Hamas increased the number of convicted murderers they demand be freed from Israeli jails in exchange for wounded and sick men held hostage.

  9. Iran Pays Millions in Ransom to End Massive Cyberattack on Banks

    An Iranian firm paid at least $3 million in ransom last month to stop an anonymous group of hackers known as IRLeaks from releasing individual account data from 20 domestic banks in what appears to be the worst cyberattack the country has seen.

    The mid-August breach forced banks to shut down cash machines across the country.

    People familiar with the Iranian banking hack said IRLeaks is affiliated with neither the U.S. nor Israel, suggesting the attack may have been the work of freelance hackers driven primarily by financial motives.

    Iran Facing Dire Domestic Woes

    Unlike other senior Iranian officials, the new Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian doesn’t hide the enormous damage sanctions have caused and are still causing the Iranian economy.

    According to estimates released by the Iranian parliament’s research center, about a million students dropped out of the school system at every level in 2023.The Education Ministry said the schools are short 176,000 teachers.

    The parliament’s Education Committee said many students are forced to go to work instead of going to school.

    Since August 2, nurses have been on strike in most Iranian cities. They want their salaries adjusted for inflation, which is currently over 40%.

    According to the Supreme Council of the Nursing System, 150-200 nurses emigrate from Iran every month.

    Former IDF general Moti Almoz delivers uncompromising message on war realities. In a candid interview, he challenges conventional wisdom and advocates for a controversial long-term strategy in the Gaza Strip.

    Maj.-Gen. (ret.) Moti Almoz, 57, argues for a buffer zone of about 2.5 to 6 miles west of the Gaza fence under Israeli control. “This depth is critical for protecting our communities. It’s been clear since day one that this is necessary. We need to send a clear message: anyone planning future attacks will lose territory. That’s what victory looks like, not images of surrendering enemies.”

    Almoz dismisses the idea of quick peace solutions, arguing that Israel must prioritize security over peace negotiations in the short term.

    “We’re preoccupied with terms like ‘innocents’ and ‘uninvolved civilians.’ But…it wasn’t just the armed groups; civilians came to loot, assault, and kill. Young people bragged about killing with their bare hands, even elderly people joined in. There are two million Palestinians in Gaza. If we hadn’t stopped them, they would have reached more communities, killing and looting. This calls into question the concept of ‘uninvolved civilians.'”

    • He is right, stopping now will let Hamas commit more murders and rapes and take more hostages in the future. When this happens they will then start screaming about Israel committing genocide and call for another ceasefire that they will break.

    Iran’s New Plan: Lost Gaza, So Take West Bank

    The Palestinian Authority has condemned Israel for initiating a large-scale military operation in the northern West Bank. Israel’s counterterrorism operation targets numerous Iran-backed armed terrorist groups, including Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, that have been operating freely in PA-controlled territories.

    The main objective of Israel’s operation is to thwart Iran’s intention to turn not only Gaza, but also the West Bank, into another terror base as part of the Islamists’ Jihad (holy war) to destroy Israel. The PA should applaud Israel’s security forces for pursuing the terrorists, rather than criticizing them.

    These armed groups pose a direct threat not only to Israel, but the PA as well. The gunmen have created their own state within a state in the areas under PA administration, openly contesting the PA’s legitimacy and making a mockery of its security forces. The PA is reluctant to crack down on these groups because PA officials are aware that the terrorists enjoy widespread support among the Palestinian public.

    The Israeli military operation in the northern West Bank could have been avoided, had the PA fulfilled its duty of combating terrorism by dismantling the armed groups. Many Israeli and Palestinian lives could have been spared had the PA done its job and taken action against the gunmen.

  12. Armed Citizen Saves Woman And Child During Carjacking And Sexual Assault

    A woman’s screams caught the attention of an unnamed hero on August 30th in Tazewell County, Virginia. Armed with a 9mm handgun, the Good Samaritan moved swiftly toward danger, putting himself in harm’s way to protect the life of a stranger and her child. Unknowingly coming face to face with a suspect already wanted on two outstanding warrants, the harrowing confrontation unfolded.

    Moments earlier at a Lee’s Kar-Go convenience store, the suspect, 30-year-old Cody Dailey, forcefully attempted to seize control of a truck, assaulting the female driver and terrifying the woman’s child, saying, “I’m going to rape your mommy.” Before the heinous threat or worse could be carried out, with a sense of duty, obligation and clarity that organizations like Brady United, Everytown and March for Our Lives could never understand, the courageous Good Samaritan’s voice rang out, confronting the attacker and ordering him to stop immediately.

    Hearing the commands, the suspect responded by turning his aggression on the Good Samaritan, charging and shoving him to the ground despite the presence of a firearm. In an act of unrelenting criminal and “Walking Dead” zombie-like disposition, Dailey continued to advance upon the armed citizen, who finally decided, not today Satan. While our Good Samaritan had exercised restraint until this point, electing to attempt de-escalation before violence, the suspect overruled him, compelling the citizen to discharge his firearm one time, providing a complimentary body modification procedure upon Dailey’s chest.

    Hearing the gunshot, law enforcement officers in the vicinity, responded and quickly arrived on the scene. Dailey received a taxpayer-funded airlift to nearby Roanoke for medical treatment, where he is reported to be in stable condition. In light of the attempted carjacking, assault, and terrorizing of an innocent child, Roanoke authorities and detectives are seeking additional charges against Dailey including abduction, carjacking and assault and battery.

    Sheriff Brian Hieatt expressed gratitude to the citizen hero for his courageous actions that day.

    “Thank goodness for the Good Samaritans that came to the victim’s aid during her time of need. We are grateful for their desire to intercede on her behalf. Had they not acted, this could have been a very different outcome,” the sheriff told WDBJ news.

    This incident, and many others like it are shining examples of the critical importance of responsible gun ownership and the lifesaving role that firearms play when in the hands of good human beings. Bravery, quick thinking and being equipped to confront evil ruled the day here, preventing tragedy from befalling a woman and her young child.

    Tucker Carlson’s Mistake is That the Opposite of Lies Isn’t Truth

    How could I not be open to anything at this point? I mean, there’s been so much deception that you can’t trust your preconceptions.

    It’s a familiar argument and it works great with Tucker’s “just asking questions” routine, but it also perfectly captures what’s wrong with him and so many other influencers.

    Truth isn’t the opposite of lies. The opposite of lies is just more lies.

    Truth is what happens when you reject lies, not when you reject everything.

    The sleight of hand used by so many influencers trying to promote the dumbest, worst and evilest ideas is that since the establishment and the media lies, it’s time to embrace the opposite of whatever they say.

    That’s how Tucker ends up arguing that because there’s so much deception, maybe the earth is flat.

    A flat earth is what happens when you don’t really believe in anything, you just disbelieve. That’s not actual skepticism or a search for truth, it’s nihilism. It’s the sort of radicalism that fueled Marxist and leftist movements that set out to discard everything and begin again from Year Zero. Believe in nothing and you are nothing.

    Or, worse still, like Tucker, you come to believe in the worst and dumbest things because they’re the opposite of whatever it was you used to believe.
