To be clear, by counter narrative I don’t mean the truth to counter a narrative, I mean a narrative launched to counter a truth. Establishing motives is more difficult. But whatever the reason for launching this narrative, it adds to the liquefaction of reality, and the temptation to disengage with the world and grow indifferent to major events, thus leaving the state and communist agencies free to dismantle our culture and civilization with far less resistance. How many friends do you have for example, that just say they have given up?

At 2:12 and again at 4:41 and 5:29 for those who have made a study of the human sexual dimorphic beyond the most obvious, there is a pretty strong proof that the Algerian is a man. Although it feels stupid just saying that. Its so obvious the entire way through. But there are tells beyond the mere obvious, which also show he is a man.
The issue has become contentious. The NYT apparently, which never lies about anything, published an article explaining he is really a girl and always has been. People on the street have entrenched themselves in a position on this and there is palpable anger against those on the other side. This is fascinating. And perhaps more important than the facts of the Algerian’s genetic makeup. It feels a lot like another dialectic. Insert narrative on a contentious issue, force a greater alignment between groups on various sides of issues which would not have caused a personal stake when we were a free society, and wait for the truth to be criminalized. Or if not the truth, any counter-narrative opinion of the day.
To this author, it seems as if the main point is that saying out loud what you see as obviously true becomes increasingly dangerous.

With the left, the issue is never the issue, and the revolution is always the issue. This particular boxing match, whether it was set up for that purpose or not, increasingly appears to be used for that purpose.
