    • Will history prove this to be one of the most important Fourths of July ever?

      • If we survive it will be, the nation is up for grabs and the Dems are self destructing, the outcome of the election will depend on the election people in the local polling places, if they band together and ensure their ballots are counted correctly the Republic will be saved. If they don’t chaos is going to erupt and last many decades.

      • Fact is, we need leadership and TIME.
        A lot of both, a luxury we can’t count on.. We’re projecting such unprecedented weakness, enemies foreign and domestic are licking their chops.

        For the two of us immigrants – a Christian from Lebanon and a Jew from Israel, respectively -Independence Day, in addition to hot dogs on the grill and fireworks in the sky, is about taking a moment to reflect on the seminal decision of our lives: the decision to come to America to be part of a great and good nation.

        If you’re detecting a religious undertone in our love for this country, you’re not wrong. Though we come from two very different faith traditions, we both see becoming an American as an act of grace, an unmerited privilege bestowed on an individual in the belief that he or she can, in the brightness and warmth of this singular country, find salvation…

    Netanyahu initially refused to heed Biden’s warning, arguing that a response was necessary to deter future attacks from Iran, but Biden only doubled down.

    US President Joe Biden threatened Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to scale back his response toward Iran’s massive missile and drone attacks in April, according to a New York Times report Tuesday.

    “Let me be crystal clear,” President Biden told Prime Minister Netanyahu that night from the Situation Room, where he received updates in real-time on the US-coordinated international response that successfully shot down 99% of the estimated 300 weapons launched from Iranian territory toward Israel.

    “If you launch a big attack on Iran, you’re on your own.”

    Iran’s attack was a response to the assassination of several Iranian generals, including the top commander in Syria, by an airstrike in Damascus a few weeks prior, an action attributed mainly to Israel. According to the IDF, only “a small number” of Iran’s ballistic missiles reached Israel.

    After the attack was over and most of the missiles had been successfully neutralized, Biden reportedly told Netanyahu by phone: “You got a win. Take the win,” without, according to the report, “reading from a script or extensive notes.”

    Concerns over Biden’s fitness for presidency

    Netanyahu initially refused to heed Biden’s advice, arguing that a response was necessary to deter future attacks from Iran, but Biden only doubled down. “You do this,” Biden said, “and I’m out.” Eventually, the aides in the Situation Room said Netanyahu agreed to scale back Israel’s response.

    The conversation is being referenced now amid claims that Biden’s mental state is not sufficient for his presidential bid and that he is unfit to handle foreign counterparts…

    Hezbollah and the weakness of the West
    Israel faces an existential battle and the West sleeps on.

    The weakness of the Western world was conclusively demonstrated last week when the United States told its citizens to leave Lebanon due to the risk of war between Israel and Hezbollah. The preferred response to such a threat, the West seems to think, is to run away.

    In this, the Biden administration followed in the footsteps of several other countries, including Germany, Canada and Holland. Rather than face down the bullying of a terrorist army directed by the terrorist state of Iran, the West chose to flee.

    This is despite the fact that from the moment of the Oct. 7 massacre, Hezbollah has been attacking a Western ally—Israel. As a result, residents of Israel’s north have had to be evacuated. Israel’s soldiers found themselves defending their country tirelessly on two fronts.

    Nor did the West appear to consider that a strong stance against Hezbollah might prevent the possible destruction of the beautiful land of Lebanon—now held hostage by the Hezbollah terrorists….

    It is difficult to predict what will happen now. What is certain is that Israel cannot continue to tolerate the current situation. There are hundreds of thousands of evacuees. Cities like Kiryat Shmonah have been abandoned. Kibbutzim and numerous villages stand empty. So do houses, schools, offices, research centers and medical clinics. Local agriculture is in ruins….

    On this Fourth of July, I want to thank the American people for being true to their birthright, the Spirit of 1776, and wish them a happy and blessed Independence Day.

    Through thick and thin, for the past nine months, Israel has deeply appreciated vital American support.

    In these times of national crisis, as the people of Israel fight a seven-front war for our national survival against Iran and its terror proxies, it is heartening to know that far from standing alone, we have the support of the greatest democracy the world has ever known.

    Character is revealed in times of crisis. In the face of Hamas’s savagery on October 7, the people of Israel connected to the deepest foundations of our national being. As one, we rose to fight our enemies with the heroism, determination, and resilience that characterized our heroes from the days of Joshua and the Maccabees, passed down across time to the warriors of the modern State of Israel.

    America stands with Israel because Americans are similarly moved by the legacy of their forefathers. At their base, Israel and America are guided by the same twin insights. Freedom is the most precious gift humanity will ever know. And freedom isn’t free. You have to be willing to fight for it.

    Israelis saw on October 7 what it would mean if we ever lost our freedom. We understood this is not a war of choice but a war for survival.

    Americans saw the atrocities of October 7, and they understood the stakes as well, not just for Israel but for the free world as a whole. Israel, a peace-loving democracy and America’s closest ally in the Middle East, was invaded by an army of jihadists bent on annihilation and subjugation. The same forces attacked America on September 11. Standing with Israel came naturally and immediately for Americans. They understood that for this march of murder and tyranny to end, Israel must win this war.

    Tyrannical ayatollahs that rule Iran stand at the apex of the axis of jihad, murder, and war. They and their henchmen view Israel and the United States as their mortal enemies.

    The outcome of this war is not in question. Israel will remain true to our ancient and modern legacy.

    We will win this war. We are strengthened with the sure knowledge that as we move forward toward victory we will be supported by our great friend, the United States of America.
