1. There is nothing to stop students setting up a new student council – in fact, I think Christian student’s unions exist outside the NUS. There is nothing to stop the government refusing to recognise the NHS as a racist or sectarian group – nothing but their image and the Muslim vote, of course. When the fighting is over and we find out that Gaza has not suffered as much as the media claim, then the focus will switch elsewhere.
