Reader’s Links for April 4th, 2024

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

For those interested, please check out https://vladtepesblog.substack.com/ as an another avenue of expression.

  2. NATO is going to “build a bridge” towards Ukraine becoming a member state of the defensive alliance, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on the organisation’s 75th birthday.

North Atlantic Treaty Organisation member states met in Brussels at the alliance’s headquarters on Thursday to toast the 75th anniversary of its founding, among them U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken who like others used the occasion to discuss renewed Russian aggression and the potential place of Ukraine among its members. He emphasised the view, already articulated multiple times by NATO leaders in recent years, that “Ukraine will become a member of NATO”.

  9. Dr. Harold Rhode:
    Misunderstanding Iran

Periodically, the U.S. or Israel makes a concession to an adversary, planning – or hoping – for reciprocity. The underlying assumption is that, as the stronger party, they can afford to be generous.

This is a fundamental misreading of how the Muslim world will understand the concession. In the Muslim world, only weak people make concessions. An offer to compromise is a sign of weakness…

The idea of bringing Iran into a balanced relationship with its adversaries is not how things work in the Middle East. (Shiite) Iran doesn’t want a “balanced” policy with its neighbors, nor with us. It is pursuing a policy aimed at defeating and humiliating its Sunni Arab neighbors…

The Western concept of compromise does not exist in the Middle East. Giving in on issues before defeating one’s enemy means the person offering the compromise is humiliating-shaming himself. For those rooted in this culture, humiliation is worse than death.

The Western concept of “let bygones be bygones” is alien to the Middle East, a region where people have long memories.

Take, for example, President Joe Biden’s public berating of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Sultan (MbS), holding him personally responsible for the murder of a Saudi journalist in Turkey. Almost two years later, Biden went to Saudi Arabia to beg MbS to increase oil production. Cool reception, no increase.

  10. DOJ Seeks Prison Time for Woman Who Found Ashley Biden’s Diary that Revealed Old Joe’s Perverted Acts with His Daughter
by Jim Hoft Apr. 4, 2024 10:30 am

As previously reported, Ashley Biden, Joe Biden’s youngest daughter, left her diary under a mattress at the Palm Beach rehab home following a stay at a treatment facility. Two individuals who found Ashley Biden’s diary at a halfway house later sold the diary to James O’Keefe and Project Veritas.

In a January 2019 entry, Ashley Biden recalled how she used to shower with her father, Joe Biden, and suggested it may have contributed to a sex addiction.

The diary describes Ashley and her father Joe Biden taking showers together at an inappropriate age.

“I have always been boy crazy,’ Ashley wrote. ‘Hyper-sexualized @ a young age … I remember somewhat being sexualized with [a family member]; I remember having sex with friends @ a young age; showers w/ my dad (probably not appropriate).’ she wrote in a January 2019 entry, according to the Daily Mail.

James O’Keefe was later the victim of a late-night FBI raid and was arrested by the Biden regime.

The two individuals who found Ashley Biden’s diary at a halfway house pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property.

And Joe Biden’s DOJ is using their guilty pleas to go after Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe.

Now, the Department of Justice is seeking prison time for Aimee Harris who found the diary under Ashley Biden’s mattress.

    The Hill reported:

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is seeking prison time for Aimee Harris, the woman who stole the diary of the president’s daughter, Ashley Biden, and sold it to conservative media site Project Veritas for tens of thousands of dollars before the 2020 presidential election.

According to the DOJ, Harris was temporarily staying at the Delray Beach, Fla., residence of Ashley Biden in September 2020 when she stole the diary “containing highly personal entries” as well as tax records, a cellphone and family photographs. Harris enlisted defandant Robert Kurlander to assist her in selling the collected material.

  11. The Lawfare Against John Eastman and Jeff Clark Portend The Fate of Every Right-Leaning Attorney Who Fails To Stand Up For Their Persecuted Colleagues
    by Paul Ingrassia Apr. 4, 2024 8:00 am286 Comments

If the Biden Regime can be summarized by a single word, it would be: injustice. No presidential administration in the history of the United States ever observed such an egregious assault on civil liberties and the rule of law, especially constitutional due process and the presumption of innocence, than what is now occurring under Biden and his weaponized Department of Justice today. Donald Trump is, of course, Political Hostage Numero Uno of the weaponized justice system – and his white martyrdom at the hand of a deeply subverted justice system in this country has galvanized his base, and his countrymen, to levels that surpass anytime since he first entered politics in 2015.

Americans recognize the grave injustice of what is now unfolding in courtrooms across the country. But of course, the casualties of America’s weaponized justice system span well beyond President Trump, extending to lawyers who represented him during that most trying period for the republic, between November of 2020 and January of 2021, when the Constitution was put on the chopping block. The few lawyers who did rise up to defend President Trump channeled the brave spirit of the Founding Fathers in doing so, putting literally everything on the line – their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor – when virtually nobody else in the profession (and that is without exaggeration) would do the same.

Two such lawyers, John Eastman and Jeffrey Clark, entered the storm as many of their peers turned a blind eye — or actively turned against them. That most turbulent period in the days and weeks following the 2020 election put strains on our constitutional form of government to a degree not seen in generations, at least spanning back to the Civil War era. But it is during periods of trials and tribulations, not of peace and tranquility, that the Constitution’s durability is put to the ultimate test. In order to keep a republic amid great adversity, exceptional men of character must rise up – and go against the grain, to preserve the time-honored traditions and sacred way of life incubated and passed down from one generation to the next.

Eastman and Clark were two such men of exceptional character who rose to the occasion and heeded the call, of not just their President (and client, for which there are important attorney-client privileges attached), who asked them to make sound and reasonable enquiries into widespread allegations of election fraud affecting the 2020 race, but the rich heritage of their forefathers – who also sacrificed a great deal when faced with long odds, to preserve the cause of freedom. Prior to their involvement in the 2020 election, Eastman and Clark were two of the most eminent lawyers in the country. They each boasted impressive resumes: Eastman was a graduate of the University of Chicago, who later clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas and worked as a partner at Kirkland & Ellis, one of the most prestigious law firms anywhere. Clark also matriculated from one of this country’s top law schools: Georgetown, which, coupled with his Harvard degree in economics and history, helped land him a prestigious clerkship on the Sixth Circuit, followed by a position also at Kirkland & Ellis, where he made partner and worked for over two decades – interrupted only by two stints in the Department of Justice under George W. Bush and Donald J. Trump. Never once had either man’s character, ethics, judgment, or qualifications been doubted at any point in time prior to January of 2021, never mind been accused of having committed a breach of professional ethics, let alone indicted for a crime.

Eastman and Clark supplemented their encyclopedic knowledge of American law with deep studies in political philosophy, theory, and history. Eastman was a student of Harry V. Jaffa, one of America’s foremost natural law theorists, who, continuing a venerable intellectual tradition that began with his own professor, Leo Strauss, famously made explicit America’s natural law-based constitutional underpinnings in works such as A House Divided.

Clark, likewise, is a student of history, possessing an enviable grasp of Soviet history, in particular – and, pertinently, through his deep studies of the persecutions that occurred against political dissidents under Stalin, Khrushchev, and Brezhnev, as viscerally recounted in the works of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, whom he frequently invokes, with uncanny germaneness, when given the opportunity to do so in public speeches.

It is in part due to their scholarly backgrounds that Eastman and Clark understand, certainly better than most of their colleagues, the high stakes of not upholding the Constitution – as well as the tyranny that inevitably flows from inaction. That tyranny they both are experiencing firsthand, in real time, with the disbarments they face – Eastman received news last Wednesday, midway through Holy Week for practicing Catholics (a faith to which both men belong), that he was being disbarred by the State Bar of California. His crime? Standing with President Trump and educating the President about Executive actions he could take, as Commander-in-Chief, to remedy perceived electoral fraud throughout the system. Eastman now-famously advised Vice President Pence that he had the power, under the Constitution (which the Congress later amended in 2022, defanging the Vice President’s role in overseeing elections to a purely ‘ministerial’ duty), to return slates of electors back to states – particularly states, like Georgia and Arizona, subject to accusations, and evidence, of widespread fraud, last-minute rule changes, and irregularities of all sorts.

Nothing of what Eastman advised the former Vice President to do was unconstitutional, much less unreasonable. He offered a valid interpretation of the document, consistent with the text and longstanding history of election law, from the authority of a legal scholar well steeped in these issues, at the behest of a President of the United States, as the nation was teetering on the brink of outright constitutional crisis. For these maneuvers, none of which impute criminal or civil liability under any statute, nor are equipped with the sufficient intent to establish liability by the requisite evidentiary legal standard (“clear and convincing evidence”) in the first place, Eastman is being penalized by the heavy hand of the State.

In a Substack article and press release published the day the California State Bar recommended he be disbarred, Eastman said that he would appeal the decision — all the way to the Supreme Court, if need be:

We will appeal the decision, of course, and hopefully the California Bar Review Court, the California Supreme Court, or the U.S. Supreme Court will step in to put a stop to this “lawfare” that has become a serious threat to the First Amendment, the right of controversial clients and causes to legal representation, and more broadly to our adversarial system of justice. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has awarded defense contractor Northrop Grumman a contract to create a concept roadmap for a lunar railroad.

In a recent announcement, Northrop Grumman revealed they were awarded a contract by DARPA under the LunA-10 initiative, which is a project by the U.S. government that aims to create commercial activity on the moon in the next ten years.

In a press release, Northrop Grumman wrote they were “selected by DARPA to develop the concept of building a moon-based railroad network as part of the broader 10-year Lunar Architecture (LunA-10) Capability Study.”

The lunar railroad network is expected to have capabilities to transport humans, resources, and supplies across the moon.

  13. Biden Is Ignoring Intelligence Agencies and DHS Reports
    by Antonio Graceffo Apr. 4, 2024 9:30 am167 Comments

White Christians Not a Threat, Border Not Secure

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas claims, “The border is secure,” and President Joe Biden said, “The most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy.” Not only are they both lying, but they are also ignoring the reports produced by the US Intelligence Community, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Defense (DoD).

Biden appointees, including the president himself, have claimed that the border is secure and that white Christian nationalists are the greatest threats to national security. These statements weaken our ability to address real threats. If the border is secure, then funding for additional security would be unjustified. And if Biden starts wasting public funds and security resources to hunt down white Christians, he will be leaving the country open to attacks from the real threats: China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, and Islamic extremists.

President Trump said he would deport illegal aliens. Kamala Harris went on TV and said that she would “fight for their rights.” This statement presumes that illegal aliens have a right to stay in the United States. DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas actually said, “From day one, this Administration has made clear that a border wall is not the answer.” And certainly, no wall is needed if you do not wish to keep people out.

  14. Alan Dershowitz: Fani Willis Committed ‘Worst Crimes I’ve Seen Prosecutors Commit,’ Should Be Charged With Perjury, Witness Tampering
    by Ben Kew Apr. 4, 2024 8:30 am216 Comments

Retired Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz has argued that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis should face prosecution for some of the “worst crimes” he has seen in public prosecutions.
“She ought to be on trial for perjury, conspiracy to commit perjury, witness tampering,” Dershowitz said in an interview with Newsmax. “The evidence is overwhelming that she committed perjury, including technical scientific evidence and several witnesses.”

Last month, Georgia Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee ruled that Willis could remain on the case on the condition that Nathan Wade, the lead prosecutor whom she appointed and was involved in an affair with, stepped down. Wade promptly resigned following the ruling.

However, Dershowitz claimed that there is compelling evidence indicating that Willis was engaged in financial corruption.

“Essentially, she got kickbacks for appointing this highly unqualified person to head the prosecution,” said Dershowitz. “I sure hope the appellate court takes the case and throws her out of the case and recommends that there be a criminal investigation … we have to have an independent prosecutor of some kind looking into what is an open and shut case of perjury.”
The esteemed legal professor also weighed in on Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan, who recently imposed a gag order on President Trump to prevent him talking about his daughter Loren, who works as a consultant for the Democratic Party.

“He is a judge ruling to protect his own daughter,” said Dershowitz. “Talk about a conflict of interest. The law is very clear if the judge, for example, is sitting on a case where his daughter could benefit financially, of course, the judge would have to disclose that and recuse himself. And of course, the defendant would have the right to point that out.”

  15. Canadian Man in Legal Battle to Get Free Vaginoplasty… While Keeping Penis Intact!
    by Ben Kew Apr. 4, 2024 7:30 am355 Comments

A court in Canada is set to rule on a case as to whether the state must pay for a vaginoplasty on a man who also wants to keep his penis intact.

According to the National Post, the legal battle “could lead to more requests for individually customized and unorthodox gender-affirming surgeries” while reflecting a “small but growing demand for niche surgeries for people who identify as non-binary, meaning neither exclusively female nor exclusively male.”

The individual, who is known only as K.S., is a biological male who claims to have experienced gender dysphoria since he was a teen. However, his doctor contends that he feels neither male nor female and would therefore like to have both a penis and a vagina.

“It is very important for (K.S.) to have a vagina for her personal interpretation of her gender expression but she also wishes to maintain her penis,” his doctor wrote in a letter to Ontario’s Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) supporting his request for state funding.

A Las Vegas woman who previously claimed to be a 52-year-old man allegedly executed a worker sitting in his van in a random killing, according to authorities.

Kayla Alery, 27, who has been out on parole since December following an arson conviction, walked up to 41-year-old carpet cleaner Raul Cardoza and shot him in the neck while he and his brother were taking a break on March 26, according to court documents obtained by KLAS-TV.

Cops found a .45-caliber handgun in her waistband and “a bag containing purported methamphetamine,” police said.

It was not clear if Alery was high on methamphetamine at the time of the shooting, but witnesses said it appeared to have been a “completely unprovoked” attack, according to an arrest repor

Is There a Doctor in the House, and Is He Asking About Your Guns?

An April 1 article in The Atlantic reveals what appears to be a newly re-energized effort by the medical community to stick its stethoscope where it doesn’t belong: In your gun safe.

Headlined “The Doctor Will Ask About Your Gun Now,” the 1,793-word report by The Atlantic’s Nancy Walecki opens by discussing Northwell Health, which “is part of a growing movement of health-care providers that want to talk with patients about guns like they would diet, exercise, or sex—treating firearm injury as a public-health issue.” Northwell Health, the article explains, is New York State’s “largest health system.” The Atlantic article notes how everyone coming into “select” emergency rooms are asked about gun access “and offers locks to those who might need them.”

“In the past few years, the White House has declared firearm injury an epidemic,” Walecki writes, “and the CDC and National Institutes of Health have begun offering grants for prevention research. Meanwhile, dozens of medical societies agree that gun injury is a public-health crisis and that health-care providers have to help stop it.”

American gun owners were warned about this even before it happened. Doctors for Responsible Gun Ownership (DRGO), a project of the Second Amendment Foundation, calls this a “boundary violation.”

A narrative on the DRGO website opens: “Imagine this scenario: you visit your doctor for back pain. Your doctor asks if you have firearms in your home. Then he announces that your family would be better off (especially your children) if you had no guns at all in your house. You leave the doctor’s office feeling uneasy, wondering what guns have to do with your backache. Does your doctor care about your family’s safety? Or instead, did he use your trust and his authority to advance a political agenda?”

DRGO was founded in 1994 in response to what it called a “culture war” within the medical community against gun owners. When Dr. Timothy Wheeler, DRGO founder, wrote about boundary violations some years ago, he cautioned, “It’s no accident that doctors’ or health plans’ questions about guns in your home have become routine. In the 1980s and 1990s medical professional organizations declared a culture war on gun ownership in America. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) developed an official policy (2012 version here) urging pediatricians to probe their young patients’ parents about guns in their homes.”

Over the years, DRGO representatives, including Wheeler and Dr. John Edeen, have appeared several times at the annual Gun Rights Policy Conference, sponsored by SAF and its sister organization, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Wheeler is now retired.
In a telephone conversation, Edeen told Ammoland News that doctors who attempt to provide gun safety advice could be challenged by asking whether their insurance company knows they are providing information outside their field. This could lead to legal trouble for a doctor if a patient, following faulty advice, has a mishap involving a firearm, he intimated.

According to The Atlantic, a “smattering” of studies has revealed doctors, and especially pediatricians, really don’t talk to patients about firearms safety. A 2019 study revealed less than eight percent of firearm owners said their physicians broached the subject. An abstract noted, “The National Firearms Survey included 4030 adult respondents, all of whom lived in homes with firearms (completion rate, 65%); 4011 answered all firearm safety questions. Of all respondents, 7.5%…had ever discussed firearm safety with a provider…”

On its website, DRGO has an entire section about what gun owners can do if their doctor starts asking questions about guns in the home.

“Either way,” DRGO says, “it is important for people to know some very important facts:

Doctors receive absolutely no training about firearm safety, mechanics, or tactics in medical school or residency. They are completely unqualified by their training to advise anyone about guns.
Gun ownership is a civil right. A doctor’s abuse of his position of trust to pressure you to give up that civil right is professionally and morally wrong. In some states, it is illegal. You DO NOT have to tolerate it.
You, as a consumer, have great power in the doctor-patient relationship. Do not be afraid to use it.”

Even before Joe Biden walked into the Oval Office more than three years ago, it was clear his presidential agenda included a new offensive on guns and gun owners. His administration has embraced the notion that gun injuries are a “public health issue.”

About midway through her Atlantic article, Walecki notes how some states have “toyed with laws that curtail doctors’ ability to talk with patients about firearms.” She mentions a Florida law passed in 2011 and later struck down by a federal court.
Perhaps the first question for a physician who starts asking about guns in the home should be, “Are you a certified firearms instructor?” Edeen said a doctor should be quizzed about his or her qualifications to provide firearms safety advice during any kind of a visit.

Walecki refers in her piece to a 2016 study which said that about half of gun-owning patients “agree that it’s sometimes appropriate for a doctor to talk with them about firearms.” An abstract of that report said participants were asked whether it is “never, sometimes, usually or always appropriate” for physicians to ask about guns. A majority said it is “at least sometimes appropriate.”

But such discussions must have some context, the article acknowledges. Visiting a doctor about a knee injury or a back pain probably would be awkward if it involves a conversation about guns.

On its website, DRGO even notes, “We’re not talking about a doctor who casually talks with you about guns out of a common interest you both may have. If you and your doc get to comparing notes about your favorite hunting rifles or latest trip to the gun range, that is a world apart from a calculated effort to prejudice you against gun ownership.”

The bottom line is whether discussions about firearms in the home, and how they may be stored, is any business of a physician. Walecki’s article notes, “Securely storing a gun is fundamental to the National Rifle Association’s safety rules, but as of 2016, only about half of firearm owners reported doing so for all of their guns.”
But the question remains: Is this any of your doctor’s business? In Dr. Edeen’s opinion, the answer is “No.”

  18. This Holocaust drama moved so slowly for me that I was grateful for its final images. Italian police have gathered the town’s Jews together and finally the un-wealthy join with the wealthy as they share space in an estate’s garden, waiting for ….
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Garden_of_the_Finzi-Continis_(film)

That’s what reading the headlines in an otherwise liberal Jewish weekly reminds me of: Israel, Antisemitism Also Divide the Right; Jews on the Left feel abandonned; Hamas’ War; and so on.

My mother has taken down the mezzuzah and its case from her home’s outer door. What if non-Jews started affixing decorative mezzuzah cases to their front doors? Would that improve or decrease the feeling of safety?

    • Watching the Finzi-Continis felt like family history. After leaving Spain in the 14th and 15th centuries, some settled in the Netherlands, others went to Italy. Many were saved by one cousin not as passive or fatalistic as the rest.

Salazar in Portugal and Franco in Spain had a deal with Hitler and Mussolini to give visas to those who could prove their Sephardic origins. The cousin went to Spain, got a LOT of help from priests at national archives. They found documents that went back at least to the 12th century, though family legends go back to Hispania Romana.

That’s how some survived at the very last moment. They were already on the deportation train, on their way to a transit camp in the East. But armed with documents and visa, they were allowed to board a regular train to Spain.

    • The story of plunky Danes putting on yellow stars in solidarity never happened.

I don’t know about feelings of safety, but facts of history can be useful for making decisions. The “rebels” would be slaughtered even before the target population.

The quickest way to get the monkey to behave is to punish the organ grinder.

During an interview with conservative talk show host Hugh Hewitt this afternoon, President Trump claimed Joe Biden was “high as a kite” during his State of the Union address last month.

During their interview, Hugh Hewitt asked President Trump if he’d like to debate Joe Biden. “You’ll debate him anywhere, anytime. Do you think he’ll agree to any debate?’ Hewitt asked. President Trump replied, “I don’t think so, but I hope he does. I think what happened is, you know that white stuff that they happened to find, which happened to be cocaine in the White House?” President Trump asked. “I don’t know, I think something is going on there, ’cause I watched the State of the Union, and he was all jacked up at the beginning, and by the end, he was fading fast,” Trump said. He continued, “There’s something going on there. I wanted to debate him, and I think if I debate with him, he should at least be drug tested. Hugh Hewitt, who appeared shocked, asked, “Mr. President, are you suggesting Biden is using cocaine? President Trump responded, “I don’t know what he’s using, but that was not—he was higher than a kite!”

President Trump pointed out that Joe Biden’s recent State of the Union was “the worst address” he’s
“ever seen in the nation.” He continued, “That’s not a state of the union, he said adding, “He doesn’t represent us properly—that I can tell you!

President Trump finished strong, telling Hugh Hewitt that Joe Biden is “obviously being helped” because “Most of the time, he looks like he’s falling asleep, but at all of a sudden, he walked up there—and did it poor job—He was all jacked up!”

    • Uppers of one sort or another are part of professional life in the WH and 7th floor DoS. That’s common knowledge.

JFK had health problems he had to cover up. Part of that carefully crafted Camelot image. He needed regular injections of pain killers and uppers as chasers.

Kissenger could never have managed shuttle diplomacy without stimulants. Such grueling travel across time zones, high stakes negotiations – part of the job.

  20. Here We Go: Major Bird Flu Outbreak Shuts Down U.S. Largest Fresh Egg Producer, About 1.6 Million Chickens Culled at Texas Facility
    by Jim H?ft Apr. 4, 2024 7:00 pm

Cal-Maine Foods, Inc., recognized as the country’s largest producer of fresh eggs, announced on Tuesday that it has temporarily suspended operations at one of its major facilities located in Parmer County, Texas.

This drastic measure comes in the wake of a detected outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI).

The outbreak has led to the culling of approximately 1.6 million laying hens and 337,000 pullets.

This action represents about 3.6% of Cal-Maine Foods’ total flock as of early March 2024, marking a significant loss for the company and the egg industry as a whole.

    Cal-Maine released the following statement:

Cal-Maine today reported that one of the Company’s facilities located in Parmer County, Texas, tested positive for highly pathogenic avian influenza (“HPAI”), resulting in depopulation of approximately 1.6 million laying hens and 337,000 pullets, or approximately 3.6% of the Company’s total flock as of March 2, 2024.

Production at the facility has temporarily ceased as the Company follows the protocols prescribed by the USDA. Cal-Maine Foods is working to secure production from other facilities to minimize disruption to its customers.

  21. Sanctuary City Paradise: Tuberculosis Found in Chicago ‘Migrant Shelters’
by Warner Todd Huston, The Western Journal Apr. 4, 2024 7:20 pm94 Comments

The “sanctuary city” of Chicago has been flooded with President Joe Biden’s illegal aliens, and along with that flood has come a potentially deadly disease.

On Wednesday, Chicago health officials confirmed that tuberculosis has been discovered among the illegal border crossers being housed by the city for free in its “migrant shelters,” WFLD-TV reported.

Officials said “a small number of cases” have been found in “a few different shelters,” without specifying how many.

As the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes, TB can be fatal and is spread through the air. The CDC further says that “the bacteria usually attack the lungs, but TB bacteria can attack any part of the body such as the kidney, spine, and brain.”
