Tangentially, the majority of Canadians who have worked in the private sector will look at fat public-sector pensioners with increasing disdain while they eat cat food to survive. Public-sector pensions are vulgar in their generosity. This will be doubly true when these recipients find themselves like Wal-Mart goldfish being watched by the general population as they, along with the economy, go into financial decline. Yes, CPP is for everyone, but you can’t survive on it.

The Democrats are now hiding the crisis at the southern border by meeting illegals halfway and flying them into the United States.
Real Americas Voice correspondent Ben Bergquam is on a fourth escapade through the Darién Gap, where he discovered “15-acre facilities” that the United States is using to process and smuggle illegals into the United States before they even reach the border.
The Darién Gap is known as the world’s most dangerous route for illegal immigration into the United States between Colombia and Panama.
“The numbers at the border go down, but the numbers that are going into our country go up,” Bergquam reports from Central America.
Oscar Blue Ramirez added, “When they get to every port of entry from Central America and South America, they will be categorized now as refugees and asylees,” saying the Great Replacement Theory “is not a theory anymore.”
Ilegal immigrants’ access to the US with full rights is being streamlined through these processing centers called Safe Mobility Offices. According to the Associated Press, they’re then being shipped into the US by plane.
Associated Press reports, “With the safe mobility initiative, they’re arriving as refugees who have already met the requirements and will be legally allowed to live and work in the U.S. The process takes only months, while more traditional refugee screening is a yearslong effort.”

While I probably do not deserve it, I am going to dub myself the face of Christian Nationalism. I am a Christian that is proud of my Christian beliefs, and I am absolutely an America first nationalist that believes that America and her interests should be first in the world. As the newly self-appointed face of Christian Nationalism in the United States, I am furious. I am furious that my faith is being misrepresented and twisted, I am furious that the enemies of freedom are lying and misrepresenting my country, and I am furious that the bought and paid for mainstream media is knowingly promoting these lies.
Let me begin with what Christian Nationalism isn’t. Christian nationalism is NOT what the mainstream media liars are calling it. According to a piece of journalistic garbage published in Axios (https://www.axios.com/2024/02/28/poll-christian-nationalism-americans-reject) Christian Nationalism is tied with things like banning books and teaching religion in schools. The propagandists behind the article failed to mention that the books these terrible “Christian Nationalists” were pushing to ban were pornography and they were requesting that the aforementioned porn was found in schools. They also failed to mention that the idea of teaching religion was less about a specific religion and more about teaching basic values of right and wrong that no society can function without.

On Wednesay, the US Supreme Court agreed to hear the question of whether Donald Trump has immunity from criminal prosecution, and specifically, whether he can evade charges lodged against him tied to the alleged insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. For the record, Trump has never been charged with an insurrection despite the media talking points.
The high court will hear oral arguments on an expedited schedule the week of April 22 and decide by the end of the term in June or sooner.
Judge Tanya Chutkan announced she was postponing her March 4 trial date indefinitely as Trump’s immunity argument makes its way through the courts.
Jack Smith’s January trial against President Trump may be postponed past November.
Democrats did not take this news very well. They were hoping to bankrupt and jail President Trump by Election Day 2024 just like any other violent regime in the past.
MSNBC took the news expecially hard.
Unhinged contributor Elie Mystal, from The Nation magazine called on Democrats to “deal with” the Supreme Court.

A delegation of the U.S. Congressional Progressive Caucus traveled to Cuba last week in a trip that has not previously been disclosed by the legislators nor reported in Cuban state media.
The group of about a dozen people was led by Democratic U.S. Reps. Pramila Jayapal of the state of Washington and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. It included a congressional staffer from the office of California Rep. Barbara Lee’s office, sources with knowledge of the trip told the Miami Herald.
Jayapal and Omar, members of the informal left-wing group of lawmakers known as “the squad,” did not reply to emails and messages seeking comment. Lee’s office also did not reply to a request for comment.
After the Herald published this story, the Congressional Progressive Caucus, comprising more than 100 lawmakers and chaired by Jayapal, confirmed the trip.
“Representatives Jayapal and Omar traveled to Cuba last week, where they met with people from across Cuban civil society and government officials to discuss human rights and the U.S.-Cuba bilateral relationship,” said a Caucus spokesperson.
Jayapal and Omar have been vocal critics of the U.S. embargo against Cuba and have supported bills to normalize relations with the island’s communist government. They were among the 40 Democrats who voted against a symbolic resolution supporting peaceful demonstrators who protested against the Cuban government in July 2021 and “calling for the immediate release of arbitrarily detained Cuban citizens.”
In January, Jayapal urged the Biden administration to remove Cuba from the U.S. list of countries that sponsor terrorism, a decision made in the last days of Donald Trump’s time in office that she said had “devastated” the island’s economy.
“Being on this list has made it nearly impossible for Cuba to do international business, driving an economic downturn that has led residents to flee the country,” she said in a post on X. “It’s time to re-engage with Cuba.”
Cuban official media traditionally highlight American lawmakers going to the island, usually framing their visit as a gesture of “solidarity” with the Cuban people or support for ending the U.S. embargo. This time, state media was mum. Cuba’s Foreign Ministry did not disclose the trip.

Voters in Maricopa County, Arizona are reporting receiving strange mail-in ballots addressed to them ahead of the March 19, 2024 Presidential Preference Election.
Maricopa County, which holds roughly 60% of the state’s voting population, is considered the bellwether county for Arizona elections. The County is well known for sham elections involving phony mail-in ballots and, more recently, voting machine failures targeting Republican in-person voters.
The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on the stolen 2020 and 2022 elections in Arizona. In both elections, thousands of ballots with no chain of custody documentation or signature identity verification were seemingly added to the results out of nowhere.

US District Judge David Ezra, a Reagan appointee on Thursday issued a temporary injunction that blocked a Texas law that gave local police power to arrest illegal aliens.

Hyde-Smith blocks Senate vote on federal IVF protections
Democrats’ bill aimed to override the Alabama Supreme Court decision that has cut access for many in the state.

Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) blocked passage Wednesday of a bill to protect access to in-vitro fertilization nationwide — the first federal clash in the roiling debate over fertility care that an Alabama court sparked earlier this month by granting legal personhood to frozen embryos.
“The bill before us today is a vast overreach that is full of poison pills that go way too far,” she said. “Far beyond ensuring legal access to IVF, the act explicitly waives the Religious Freedom Restoration Act and would subject religious and pro-life organizations to crippling lawsuits.”
In the wake of the scuttled vote, Democrats are more eager than ever to tie Republicans to the threat to IVF — part of their ongoing campaign to make the fallout of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade a top issue in the presidential and congressional election.
“It’s a little personal when a majority male state Supreme Court suggests that people like me who became pregnant with the help of modern medicine should be in jail cells and not nurseries,” said bill author Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.), the mother of two daughters conceived through IVF.
Duckworth excoriated Republicans for blocking the legislation — accusing them of hypocrisy after so many voiced support for the treatments over the last week.
“[Hyde-Smith] said at one point the bill would allow for chimeras — human-animal hybrids — it does nothing of the sort,” Duckworth said. “All the bill says, is if you want to seek reproductive technology you can, if you want to provide it you can, and if you want to cover it as an insurance company you can.”
Democrats brought up the bill under unanimous consent — an expedited process that allows any senator to object. Leadership has not indicated whether they will bring the bill back to the floor.
Duckworth told POLITICO on Wednesday that she plans to ask for a traditional roll call vote that forces members to take a public stance, though she acknowledged it’s “not going to happen any time soon.”
“I don’t want to shut down the government. We’ve got border security to work on,” she said. “There is a lot in the way in terms of the Senate calendar.”
Whether they continue to push for passage of the bill, Democrats made it clear that they plan to keep hammering Republicans on the issue. The Democratic National Committee is putting up dozens of billboards in the battleground states of Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin tying the IVF ruling to former President Donald Trump, and the abortion rights group Reproductive Freedom for All has launched TV ads calling the Alabama decision “part of the Republican plan to control our bodies and lives.”
“Republicans can do and say all they want to try and run away from the truth, but the American people are not buying it,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said Wednesday ahead of the vote. “They’re not buying it today. They won’t buy it tomorrow. They won’t buy it come November.”
Republican strategists insist they are not worried, arguing that voters won’t hold the entire GOP responsible for the actions of the Alabama court and that it’s not senators’ place to intervene
“Dobbs talked about states rights — what is it you expect Congress to do?” pollster and former Trump administration adviser Kellyanne Conway told POLITICO. “People recognize that the lack of compromise, moderation and reasonableness is on the side of the professional, political left, and the Democrats.”
The GOP’s opposition on Wednesday was a repeat of 2022, when Duckworth attempted to call up the bill a few months after the fall of Roe v. Wade and Hyde-Smith objected without explanation and scuttled the vote.
Republicans signaled in the leadup to the vote that the recent suspension of IVF services in Alabama — and the swath of other states now considering their own restrictions — had not changed their minds. Some argued that fertility treatments are a state’s rights issue in which Congress should not meddle, while others claimed that Alabama lawmakers would solve the problem and federal action is unnecessary.
“I think the issue is going to be fixed by the Alabama legislature,” said Sen. Mike Braun (R-Ind.). “I haven’t talked to any Republican that is not for IVF.”
Yet the Senate maneuvering highlights the bind Republicans face as they struggle to coalesce around a response to the Alabama ruling. Many GOP officials have expressed support for IVF but have largely avoided detailing how clinics should handle unimplanted, viable embryos.
In the meantime, influential anti-abortion groups are turning up the pressure. In a Wednesday statement, Susan B. Anthony Pro-life America condemned Duckworth’s bill, a nonbinding resolution by Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) expressing “strong support” for IVF, and the legislative fix Alabama lawmakers are debating that would shield IVF providers from lawsuits and allow services to resume in the state.

CMA CGM Will Resume Some Red Sea Transits as Houthis Threaten “Surprise”
French shipping major CMA CGM reports it once again is going to attempt some transits through the southern Red Sea after the group twice suspended the route due to security concerns. The advisory to customers came shortly before the leader of the rebel movement renewed his threats on shipping and other major shipping companies reiterated their intent to continue to avoid the region.
“The CMA CGM Group has reevaluated the situation in the Southern Area of the Red Sea and the evolving conditions allow us to resume transit on a case-by-case basis,” the group wrote in a customer advisory released on February 28. The move comes days after the French navy joined with the European Union which is launching EUNAVFOR Aspides, a defensive operation in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and the surrounding region.
France has been operating a warship in the area since December and previously CMA CGM reported its vessels were making the transit only when they were escorted. The French group said that waiting for the escorts and the situation in the region was disrupting its schedules and then suspended all sailings after a vessel it charters was targeted.
In addition to France, Denmark and Germany both have frigates now operating in the area. Greece is also sending a vessel and was placed in charge of the operation in an agreement among the European ministers.
CMA CGM wrote to customers, “The situation is being closely assessed for each vessel before each transit, routing choices, therefore, cannot be anticipated or communicated. Otherwise, all other vessels are rerouted via the Cape of Good Hope.”
The Houthis however reiterated the general threat on shipping today while analysts note the attacks appear more widespread. They have gone beyond the original assertion that they would only interrupt Israeli shipping and later assets linked to the U.S. and UK in retaliation for the strikes by those countries in Yemen.
“Our operations will continue with greater effectiveness in the Red Sea,” said Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the self-declared leader of one of the largest factions. Speaking in a broadcast address today he said, “We have a big surprise that the enemies do not expect, and we will indeed start it.”
These continuing threats and the general instability have led most operators to continue to reroute all vessels. Lars Barstad, Chief Executive Officer of tanker operator Frontline addressed the situation today during a call to investors. He cited what he believes are the random nature of the attacks noting that even Russian-linked vessels appear now to be targets.
“This is a proper mess and creates extremely unsafe conditions,” said Barstad. In the presentation to investors, they wrote that the “Bab El-Mandeb straits between Yemen and Djibouti are unsafe for passage for responsible owners.”
Barstad reiterated that Frontline would continue to reroute all its vessels from the region noting that tanker traffic in the Suez Canal is down 40 to 50 percent. He said it would be higher except for the exports from the region such as Saudi Arabia in the northern portions of the Red Sea. Barstad believes traders are still factoring in the costs and impact of the diversions into the overall market.
