There now is a definitive list of states where officials want to be able to censor their residents, controlling what they claim is “misleading information.”
And all 23 are led by Democrats.
The list comes courtesy of constitutional expert and popular legal commentator Jonathan Turley, a renowned law professor at George Washington University who not only has testified as an expert before Congress but has represented members in court.
“For years, we have discussed the alarming shift in the Democratic party on free speech with candidates running on pledges to censor opposing views and politicians supporting blacklisting and censorship on social media,” he explained. “Many citizens oppose such efforts to restrict their rights under the First Amendment, but are unaware of the work of their representatives to limit free speech. For years, we have discussed the alarming shift in the Democratic party on free speech with candidates running on pledges to censor opposing views and politicians supporting blacklisting and censorship on social media. Many citizens oppose such efforts to restrict their rights under the First Amendment, but are unaware of the work of their representatives to limit free speech. Now, a filing in the Supreme Court supporting censorship efforts by the Biden Administration has supplied a handy list of the anti-free speech states for citizens.
The 5th Circuit previously ruled in Missouri v. Biden that administration officials “likely violated” the First Amendment and issued a preliminary injunction banning the government from communicating with social media companies to limit speech.
Not surprisingly, the state of California is leading the effort to get the Supreme Court to reverse a decision enjoining the government from censorship efforts. California has long sought to impose speech limits on doctors, businesses, and citizens to silence opposing viewpoints.
However, 23 Democrat-led states joined this ignoble effort in signing on to the brief of California Attorney General Rob Bonta. The brief lauds past efforts of these states to combat “harmful content” on the Internet and to protect the public from “misleading information” through partnerships with social media companies.
So here is the list to see if you are residing in an anti-free speech state:

Georgia Secretary of State Requests MILLIONS for Voting Machine “Upgrades” for a System That Still Won’t Be Secure and Is Less Secure than Previous System

Earlier this month, the Georgia House Appropriations Committee convened to review budgets for the Fiscal Year 2025. During the hearing, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger began his plea for millions of dollars more for the voting machines and election systems that Georgia tax-payers just purchased for $107 million in 2019.
Raffensperger began his plea for the Elections Division funding by claiming, “Since day 1, election security has been my top priority and will continue to be so,” and then he referred to Georgia’s system as “battle-tested.” He then asserts that Georgia is a “national leader in elections” because they were the first state to have implemented “the trifecta of automatic voter registration, at least 17 days of early voting, which have been called the ‘Gold Standard’, and ‘no excuse’ absentee voting.”
None of those items he listed should be considered beneficial to “election security.”
Raffensperger went on to request $32.3 million for FY25, with nearly two-thirds of the request “designed to address election security issues” for a total of $20.2 million. He also requested $6 million to replace the “aging voting machine power supplies” on the less than five-year-old systems (which was also requested last year) as well as $4,125,000 for QR Code Readers. Georgia’s BMDs currently print the voter’s intent in a non-human-verifiable QR Code on the physical paper ballot.

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) joined the ranks of elected officials who have been swatted over the Christmas-New Year’s holiday with his Naples, Florida home being swatted Wednesday night. Most of those swatted over the past week have been Republican officials or conservative activists.
As Kristinn Taylor reported earlier, Scott posted a statement on Thursday on Twitter-X about the incident:
“Last night, while at dinner with my wife, cowards “swatted” my home in Naples. These criminals wasted the time & resources of our law enforcement in a sick attempt to terrorize my family. Ann & I want to thank @NaplesPolice & @CollierSheriff for all they do to keep us safe.”
Attorney Jonathan Turley, who was also “swatted” this week, defines “swatting” as a crime. According to FOX News, the crime targets an individual by calling in a false police report for a violent crime — such as a murder, a hostage situation or other crimes that would require a greater law enforcement response — to the home of the target. The goal of the false police report is to elicit a SWAT team response by the police to the target’s home.

The holiday season swattings continued this week with George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, Georgia Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones (R) and Hunter Bide laptop figure John Paul Mac Isaac all reporting being swatted by bogus police calls. Jones also reported his office received a bomb threat.
(Richard: Once again a liberal Judge has illegally decided to write new laws, the Legislatures write the laws and the Judges enforce them, Judges aren’t some super legislature that writes the laws that the elected legislatures won’t. The liberal Judges who decide to write laws suffer from what I call the Judge Dread syndrome, I AM THE LAW the don’t believe in democracy or Democracy. They believe themselves to be the elite that are above the laws and can do and order what they want with no consequences. Missouri Court: Mark McCloskey Pardoned But Still Guilty

There is an interesting ruling in the ongoing litigation of the case of Mark McCloskey. We previously discussed the case, which became a cause célèbre for many on the left and the right after Mark and Patricia McCloskey of St. Louis appeared outside of their home in an armed standoff with protesters in St.Louis. I was highly skeptical of the charges brought by Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, who was later removed from the case due to ethical concerns. Mark McCloskey later pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors to end the case, but was then granted a pardon. He then sough the return of two firearms. The Missouri Court of Appeals has now prevented that return of the weapons by denying a motion for replevin. The basis for the decision is very interesting: McCloskey is pardoned but still considered guilty.
In McCloskey v. State, Judge James M. Dowd was joined by Judges John P. Torbitzky and Michael S. Wright in ruling that a pardon does not mean that you are innocent, but excised of guilt. As such, the state law on the seizure of the weapons stands. Since McCloskey pleaded guilty to misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and forfeited ownership and possession of the two firearms in exchange for the State dismissing the felony charge, the state law remains in force on confiscation of the weapons:
While we agree that the pardon restored all of his rights forfeited by the conviction and removed any legal disqualification, disadvantage, or impediment, Missouri law is unequivocal that a gubernatorial pardon obliterates the fact of the conviction, not the fact of guilt. Thus, McCloskey’s guilty plea, for which he obtained the benefit of the State dismissing a felony charge punishable by jail time, survived the pardon and importantly, with respect to the issue at hand in this replevin action, triggered the guns’ forfeiture. Therefore, since McCloskey’s guilt remains, it follows that he is not entitled to the return of the weapons….
In his first point, McCloskey argues that the trial court erred because his right to possession and ownership of those guns was reinstated by the pardon which by its terms “restore[d] all rights of citizenship forfeited by said conviction and remove[d] any legal disqualification, impediment, or other legal disadvantage ….” We disagree because the scope of the pardon ends at the obliteration of the conviction.
We are guided by the principles set forth in Guastello v. Dep’t of Liquor Control (Mo. 1976), where the Missouri Supreme Court examined the effect of a gubernatorial pardon on Guastello’s conviction for selling liquor on a Sunday to which he had pleaded guilty. The department denied Guastello’s application for another liquor license based on the statute’s mandate that no person convicted of a liquor law violation could receive a liquor license.
The Guastello Court exhaustively examined three different approaches by courts across the country to the issue of the effect of a pardon and adopted the view that while a pardon obliterates the fact of the conviction, the guilt remains. “Under this view, if disqualification is based solely on the fact of conviction the eligibility of the offender is restored. On the other hand, if good character (requiring an absence of guilt) is a necessary qualification, the offender is not automatically once again qualified—merely as a result of the pardon.” Because Guastello’s conviction was obliterated by the pardon, and the statute only disqualified those who had a conviction, the Court held that the denial of the license was unauthorized. Thus, in defining the scope of a gubernatorial pardon in this way; the Supreme Court drew a critical distinction between the pardoned conviction and the underlying guilt which we find to be dispositive here.
In Bill v. Boyer (Mo. banc 2016), Hill pleaded guilty to and was convicted of felony forgery. He was discharged from probation pursuant to section 549.111.2 which provided that those discharged from probation were “restored all the rights and privileges of citizenship.” { Hill argued that “his statutory restoration of rights is legally equivalent to a governor’s pardon and had the effect of negating the fact of his prior conviction.”} The sheriff had denied Hill’s application for a concealed carry gun permit under section 571.101.2(3) which prohibited granting such permits to those who had pleaded guilty to or been convicted of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year. In ruling against Hill, the Supreme Court reiterated its Guastello holding that while the statute may have “obliterated” the fact of his prior conviction, it did not obliterate his guilty plea or the fact of his guilt….
In Fay v. Stephenson (Mo. App. W.D. 2018), the court also relied on Guastello in finding Fay, who was pardoned several years after he had pleaded guilty to three felonies, was nevertheless ineligible to run for associate circuit judge under section 115.306.1’s dictate that “[n]o person shall qualify as a candidate for elective public office … who has been found guilty of or pled guilty to a felony ….” Again, the pardon extinguished the fact of his convictions, but not the fact of his guilt by way of his guilty pleas.
We find the foregoing authorities to be applicable here and dispositive. The law recognizes the difference between a conviction and guilt. Here, McCloskey pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and voluntarily forfeited his firearms in exchange for the State dismissing a felony charge punishable by imprisonment. Thus, his inability to recover his firearms is not a legal disqualification, impediment, or other legal disadvantage that is a consequence of his conviction. Rather, the permanent forfeiture is a consequence of his guilt. And because only the conviction is obliterated by the pardon and McCloskey’s guilt remains, we find that the governor’s pardon does not entitle him to possession of his forfeited firearms….
Lastly, McCloskey asserts he should have been allowed to try to the fact finder whether his firearms had been unconstitutionally seized in violation of the Second Amendment and further that their seizure was illegal in violation of his right to self-defense in conjunction with the castle doctrine. While McCloskey’s brief presents those interesting issues, none of them are before us. Instead, those issues could have been raised at the trial of the underlying charges had McCloskey not chosen to plead guilty to a lesser charge in exchange for surrendering the firearms at issue here…. “When a criminal defendant has solemnly admitted in open court that he is in fact guilty of the offense with which he is charged, he may not thereafter raise independent claims relating to the deprivation of constitutional lights that occurred prior to the entry of the guilty plea.” …
It is an interesting opinion since many view the pardon as restoring individuals to their prior status and removing past penalties associated with the conviction.
If upheld, the decision shows the cost of a plea when an individual is also seeking a pardon. Many had long called for a pardon to be issued, but governors will often wait for the legal system to play out to some degree before intervening. The pardon does not mean that you will be treated as innocent or that your property will be returned.
Presumably, if a pardon were issued before a plea (if allowed under state law), the weapons would have been subject to replevin. Under federal law, a president can issue a preemptive pardon. That was done by Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Johnson, and Jimmy Carter. There has been much debate for the possible use of a preemptive self-pardon by Donald Trump if he were to be elected in 2024.
The court also dismissed objections to statements by the court mischaracterizing his AR-15 rifle as an “assault rifle,” that the protesters were “peaceful,” that McCloskey threatened the protesters, and other false representations. However, since the gun forfeiture was a legal question, the court found that the statements were immaterial to the issue before it. The judges simply noted that McCloskey could have submitted evidence of self-defense “but instead chose to plead guilty.”
Legal scholar Jonathan Turley becomes latest ‘swatting’ victim after false report of shooting at his home
Legal scholar Johnathan Turley has become the latest victim of “swatting” as a 911 call was made falsely reporting someone was shot at his Virginia home.
“Yes, I was swatted this evening. It is regrettably a manifestation of our age of rage,” the George Washington University law professor said in a statement on Friday.
“However, we are grateful to the Fairfax police officers who were highly professional and supportive in responding to this harassment,” said Turley, who regularly writes op-eds for The Post.
Law enforcement responded to Turley’s Fairfax County home after an individual placed the bogus emergency call.
The Fairfax County Police Department confirmed that the caller falsely said somebody was shot at Turley’s address.

After 2023, surely no one will deny that Western civilisation is under threat from without and within.
My favourite story about Spinoza concerns the time he lost his cool. A philosopher, a Jew and history’s finest defender of Enlightenment, Spinoza was normally a picture of quiet reason. But when he heard about the lynching of Johan and Cornelis de Witt he became gripped by an uncommon fury. The de Witt brothers were key political figures in the Dutch Republic, the enlightened new nation in which Spinoza enjoyed such great liberty to think and write. On 20 August 1672, at The Hague, they were set upon by a ferocious mob that held them responsible for the invasion of the republic by a French-English alliance. They were murdered, mutilated and clumps of their flesh were eaten.
Spinoza was enraged. He made a plan to visit the site of the mob’s savagery to hold a one-man protest. Think Greta Thunberg, but enlightened. He prepared a placard to hold up. But his landlord restrained him, fearing he too would be slain by the mob. And so history was denied the image of one of our great philosophers staging a lonely, angry protest. What did his makeshift placard say? It had two words on it. ‘Ultimi barbarorum.’ Rough translation: ‘You are the greatest of barbarians.’
This year more than any other I’ve understood how Spinoza felt. On numerous occasions in 2023 I’ve been tempted to go places with a placard saying ‘Ultimi barbarorum’. To the kibbutzim of southern Israel following Hamas’s fascistic savagery against the Jews there on 7 October. To George Washington University after students projected the words ‘Glory to our martyrs’ on the side of the library building: young Americans of unimaginable privilege taking pleasure in the butchery of Jews. To the lovely, leafy campus of Columbia in New York City where students planned to hold a meeting on Hamas’s stirring ‘counter-offensive’. To those ‘pro-Palestine’ marches in London at which the morally treacherous middle classes marched alongside individuals dressed as Hamas terrorists and extremists chanting for yet more slaughter in Israel: ‘Jihad, jihad, jihad!’
To New York University where students shouted, ‘We don’t want no Jew state / We want all of it’: a cry by the comfortable for Hamas to finish the genocidal job of eliminating Jews in the Middle East. To the streets of Manhattan where protesters shouted ‘Shame on you!’ at an Israeli woman whose daughter was kidnapped and brutalised by Hamas. Shaming the victims of racist terror – a low even for the unhinged woke. To any gathering of politically minded Gen Zers, to be frank, after polls found that huge numbers of them view Jews as an ‘oppressor class’ and believe Hamas’s pogrom was ‘justified’. And to the Sydney Opera House, where radical Islamists chanted ‘Gas the Jews’ and ‘Fuck the Jews’ mere days after Hamas murdered the Jews. Nazi-style parades, uncontained glee at genocidal violence, on the streets of a Western city.
At every place I’ve wanted to say ‘Ultimi barbarorum’. To call out both barbarism and its intellectual apologists. To express Spinoza-style disgust for these new enemies of Western civilisation. For make no mistake, that’s what they are. From Hamas to the radical Islamists in Europe who feel inspired by Hamas to the West’s own sons and daughters of privilege who make excuses for Hamas – all have proven themselves in 2023 to be the adversaries of truth, culture and reason. Surely no one will now deny that Western civilisation is under assault on two fronts: from without and within?
The West’s bourgeois left loves to larp as Marxists, often quoting the great Rosa Luxemburg: ‘Socialism or barbarism!’ This year we discovered which side of that clash they take – it isn’t Luxemburg’s. The apologism for Hamas in privileged circles has been mind-blowing. Hamas’s bestial violence against the Jews has been denied, downplayed or outright justified. A ‘day of celebration’ is how one privately educated pretend radical in Britain described the racist butchery of 7 October. This sympathy with barbarism, this receptiveness to acts of staggering dehumanisation, goes beyond Israelophobia. It speaks to more than the witless hate for Israel that’s been rampant in right-thinking circles for years.
It even touches on something deeper than the scourge of identity politics, though that politics no doubt shapes the infantile hot take that Jews are permanent oppressors and Palestinians are forever victims. No, the sympathy shown by woke Westerners for Hamas’s apocalyptic violence reveals a moral kinship between these two sections of global society. It exposes their shared contempt for Western civilisation, their shared indifference to human suffering, and their shared loathing of freedom.
The fallout from 7 October brought to the surface a crisis of Western civilisation that has been brewing for decades. It confirmed that when you socialise the young into a system of loathing for their own civilisation not only do you make them indifferent to the threats faced by that civilisation – you make them welcome such threats, to embrace them as necessary moral correctives to our own hubris and misplaced exceptionalism.
Having educated the young to view the West as a racist entity; to fear America and Britain as nations born in the sins of slavery and Empire; to ‘decolonise’ their own learning of those arrogant white men of Enlightenment; to eschew science as a Western conceit that negates more indigenous ways of knowing; and to doubt the existence of truth itself, we cannot now be shocked to find them so cavalier about a violent assault on this awful, unspeakable West. In this case, Hamas’s racist onslaught on the people of a state that is seen to embody Western values in the Middle East. For many today, ‘Western civilisation is synonymous with racism, oppression and exploitation’, as one academic puts it. So why not celebrate its violent humiliation? Why not revel in the degradation of those who enjoy its gains?
We cannot afford to underestimate how significant it is that many of our young sympathise with Hamas and view the Jews they butchered as oppressors. This must be a moral watershed for the West. In turning the young against civilisation, we’ve marched them into the arms of barbarism. We have lost them to Hamas.
The unholy marriage between wokeism and Islamism can no longer be denied. Both scorn the idea of Western civilisation. Both disavow Enlightenment as Western arrogance. Both dread the march of modernity, whether as a threat to Gaia or Sharia. And both hate Jews. One side views them as pigs and monkeys, the other as an oppressor class. Once again Jews have come to be seen as the embodiment of modernity, and therefore the enemies of modernity, whether that’s the civilisation sceptics of our own elite universities or the civilisation attackers of radical Islam, turn on them. Viciously. The woke dehumanise them as oppressors, Hamas dehumanises them with violence. Both are assaults not only on Jews but also on the civilisational conscience itself.
There is a reluctance, these days, to speak of a clash between civilisation and barbarism. It feels too old-world. And yet its existence can no longer be ignored. Today we face not merely a clash of civilisations, but, perhaps more importantly, a clash within Western civilisation. On one side, those who have abandoned reason, on the other those of us who wish to defend it. A movement in 2024 against the barbarorum of our times would be no bad thing.
New U.S. Poll Raises Questions about Americans’ Support for Israel’s War Against Hamas
A new poll of American public opinion… finds that nearly a third of the American public holds anti-Israel views in light of the war in Gaza.
The survey, conducted on December 13, 2023, found overall sympathy for Israel among Americans still at high levels.
“However, in the current survey, we saw that even some supporters of Israel have started questioning important issues…
“Consistent with previous and other polls, the hard core of approximately 25-33% of anti-Israel sentiment continues to be reflected in this survey.…
“The main problem is with the Israeli attacks in Gaza, with over 34% believing that the Hamas reports about civilian casualties and damage are reliable, and they hold Israel responsible.”

Issues examined:
• There seems to be no difference in feeling towards the effectiveness of pro-Palestinian versus pro-Israel demonstrations.
• Over 21% agreed that Jews exaggerate the Holocaust to gain world sympathy. (About 26% did not disagree, expressing no opinion.)
• Over 22% agreed that Hamas targets mostly military targets in their missile attacks against Israel. (About 38.5% neutral, neither agree nor disagree.)
• Over 24% felt that reports of sexual attacks against Israeli women by Hamas were exaggerated. (About 35% did not know or were unsure.) [! ! ! !]
• Close to 24% agreed that reports of kidnapped Israelis being held hostage by Hamas are not entirely true. (Close to 35% neutral, neither agree nor disagree.)
• Over 34% felt that reports of Israel’s responsibility for civilian deaths in Gaza are not exaggerated. (About 33% did not know or were unsure)
• While more felt Israel was more interested in peace than “the Palestinians” (28%-18%), over 34% felt that neither party was interested in peace.
Released hostage Mia Schem says she ‘went through a Holocaust’ whilst being held in Gaza
The 21-year-old Israeli also claimed: ‘Everyone in Gaza is a terrorist’
An Israeli woman taken hostage by Hamas for 54 days claimed she “went through a Holocaust” while being held captive in Gaza.
Mia Schem, 21, revealed that she felt “like an animal in a zoo” after being taken on October 7. She was later released in November.
She also told Channel 13 in an interview to be aired on Thursday: “Everyone [in Gaza] is a terrorist”.
The French-Israeli citizen was taken hostage from the Supernova festival alongside dozens of others.
She was the first person to appear in a Hamas hostage video on October 16.
In the video, she said: “Hi, I’m Mia Schem, 21 years old from Shoham. Currently, I’m in Gaza. I returned early Saturday morning from Sderot; I was at a party. I was seriously injured in my hand.
“I underwent surgery on my hand at the hospital [in Gaza] for three hours. They are taking care of me, giving me medicine, everything is fine.”
Schem has now shared that her procedure was performed with “no anaesthesia, no nothing” in a surgery that left her “choking on [her] own tears”.
She revealed that she was told by a member of the terrorist group: “Enough, or I will send you down the tunnel”.

Trump Doesn’t Think Biden or Harris Will be Democrat Nominee, Said He Expects a ‘Free-for-All’ Primary

Former President Donald Trump does not believe that Joe Biden or Kamala Harris will be the Democrat nominee for the 2024 presidential election.
Trump said that he believes, at some point, the primary will become a “free-for-all” of Democrats hoping to become the nominee.
Speaking to Breitbart News, Trump said that he hopes Biden is the nominee, but “can’t believe” it would actually happen.
“He’s a cheater. He’s a scoundrel. He’s a bad guy,” Trump said of Biden. “But in his life, he’s always been able to convince people he’s this really nice guy. 10 predictions for 2024: Get ready for tough times with war and economic collapse on the horizon
Expect civil unrest to break out in 2024 as globalist elites go for the final takedown of America as we know it in preparation for their satanic digital reset of the world order
The year 2023 will go down in history as the point at which the globalists completed the assembly of a massive secret army inside the U.S. in preparation for the final takedown of America, transforming it into Amerika.
By my calculations, there are anywhere from 1.5 million to 5 million foreign soldiers already inside the U.S. awaiting orders. My math is based on the government’s own statistics for illegals entering the U.S. over the last three years and then I estimated how many were military-age males using very conservative numbers on the low end and moderately conservative numbers on the top end. The most conservative number, 1.5 million, assumes that no foreign agents of military age were already here prior to January 2021, which of course we know cannot be the case but I wanted to demonstrate just how conservative these numbers are.
So, we have 1.5 million, at the very least, super-fit males of military age we’ve seen entering the U.S. as “asylum seekers,” which has become the new Orwellian term for illegal aliens. It’s no longer a secret. You can go on X, formerly Twitter, and watch countless videos of waves of men entering the U.S. with no papers to identify who they are. Even if we go with the ultra-conservative figure of a 1.5 million-man army now assembled inside the United States, that is formidable by anyone’s standards.
Now, what if all those weapons purchased by U.S. federal government agencies were accumulated for the purpose of arming this assembled army? Think about that. Everyone wondered why federal agencies with no law enforcement role, like the Small Business Administration, Department of Agriculture and Health and Human Services, were buying up guns and ammo under Obama’s administration and now again under Biden’s regime. This unprecedented militarization of the federal government did not even stop under Trump, it just slowed down. I am not here to tell you why those agencies have felt the need to arm up, but I can tell you that the reason cannot be good. One plausible explanation would be that they will use these stockpiles to supply one side in a coming civil war that has probably been planned for a long time.
2023 was also the year they told us their plans in the wide open (“they” being the billionaires and multi-millionaires associated with the globalist World Economic Forum and its United Nations-allied, Vatican-allied agenda which they hope to have completely implemented by 2030).
They want a completely digital economy with digital IDs for everyone and no more cash, only digital tokens, meaning no more privacy or freedom for anyone. They will know everywhere you go, everything you buy, everyone you associate with, and they will use that information to either reward or punish you based on your carbon footprint. Combining the dual tracking tools of digital ID with digital currency, the powers that be will finally have a fool-proof method of tracking, monitoring and assigning social credit scores to every human being who walks the earth. The digital money and digital IDs will link up with the embedded (and internet-connected) Smart-City technology being installed in nearly every city throughout the world. This technology is being installed by government contractors right under the noses of fully ignorant residents in cities of all sizes – it’s for our safety, they tell us. In reality, they are hoping to build a population of cyborgs.
The globalists also told us repeatedly in 2023 that we, as human beings, are no longer needed. They have AI now and that is fully capable of handling most of the tasks that corporations and governments have in the past paid human beings to perform. I presume that means they will start doing away with the most unneeded among us in 2024. There are too many useless people, says Yuval Harari, one of Klaus Schwab’s chief lieutenants at the WEF.
Also in 2023, they opened the gates of World War III by provoking Russia and trying to back that country’s leader into a dangerous corner. In the process of trying to achieve a regime change in Russia, they practically emptied out the munitions arsenals of the entire West, sending endless supplies of 155mm shells, Patriot missiles, ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles, drones and other key weapons to Ukraine and Israel. These stockpiles will take years to replenish and nobody’s really talking about it.
With that background, here are a few of my predictions for 2024 (some are more like trends than predictions):
The continued war on free speech and First Amendment. The United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) announced on November 6, 2023, that a global plan to silence free speech on the Internet was in play. Correct me if I’m wrong but I didn’t hear anyone in the U.S. administration of Joe Biden reject the UNESCO statement or that the U.S., that bastion of “democracy,” would choose not to participate.
The continued war on the Second Amendment. This is so obviously already underway that it requires no explanation. The latest scheme by the Biden regime is to use federal tax dollars to pay the states to implement the gun-control laws that it has been unable to pass. The only question is, will Americans succumb like the folks in Australia and New Zealand did and give up their guns?
Continued global war on food and fiat currencies. The death of the U.S. dollar will lead to a death of brick-and-mortar retail, and shortages of many common items as the supply chain continues to erode and the economy slowly melts down. As all of those U.S. dollars once used by foreign nations to purchase products in international trade come flooding back home to the U.S., we are looking at the prospect of rampant inflation, especially for anything fuel or food related. Before they can fully implement the central bank digital currencies, they must utterly make worthless the paper fiat currencies, and 2024 will be the year they do that.
MAJOR cyberattacks will target banking and financial sectors, communications and possibly even shut down large portions of the electric power grid, causing widespread panic and unrest. This will be done either by the U.S. government or by a foreign power with the knowledge of the U.S. government. The idea is to blame the misery on a foreign boogey man like Russia or China, most likely Russia, which is always the boogey man of choice for the U.S. government. This will allow the U.S. government to fuel anti-Russian hatred, appeal to Americans’ sense of patriotism, and implement a military draft as it prepares for all-out war with Russia-China in 2025.
Lawlessness and civil unrest will continue to increase heading up to the November 5, 2024 election and beyond. The prospect of civil war (followed by World War III in 2025?) is now highly likely. I would estimate the threat of civil war breaking out in 2024 at greater than 50-50 for reasons I have explained in previous articles.
Construction of a wall at the U.S.-Mexico border finally commences in 2024, but not for the reason most Americans think. The wall will be built not to keep foreigners out but to keep Americans in. The globalists have already assembled a foreign army of sleeper cells inside the U.S. How many more troops will they need? Not too many more, in my opinion. Near the end of 2024 don’t be surprised if you see construction started on a wall. Every effective dictatorship needs a wall to keep its citizens in check and, as I’ve explained previously, the U.S. is no longer a constitutional republic. Why would we expect it to suddenly start acting like one again?
There are two potential scenarios surrounding Donald J. Trump. Under Scenario A, Trump gets elected in a landslide but is never allowed to see the inside of the White House. The regime in Washington calls out BLM and antifa to set fire to the streets in “mostly peaceful” protests, then declares martial law and accuses Trump of being an enemy of the state who was elected under false pretenses. MAGA people are rounded up and placed in camps. They put out a warrant for Trump’s arrest or maybe have him assassinated by one of their patsies. Under Scenario B, Trump loses to Biden or whoever runs on the Democrat ticket because Colorado, Maine and several other states are trying to remove him from the ballot or maybe they keep him on the ballot but stuff ballot boxes with fake votes. EITHER SCENARIO, A or B, will serve to jumpstart the Second American Civil War so coveted by the billionaire globalist elites.
Continued apostasy of the church in fulfillment of 2 Thessalonians 2:3 and increasing persecution of the true Church. The pope and his equivalents in the Protestant world will continue to usher in false doctrines and statements meant to confuse, divide, demoralize and destroy the church. If possible, even the elect will be deceived. “Forbidden blessings,” aka demonic blessings for forbidden relationships, will bring great reproach to the name of Jesus Christ, which is what Bergoglio and others have been doing already for several years. They are sowing division and confusion among the flock in the Catholic Church, and likewise in the Protestant Church. Like in China, most of the true believers will break away into home churches.
Continued ramping up of the government-corporate propaganda campaign to push fear of viruses and sickness. This is all geared toward the purposeful effort to inject human beings with more mRNA “vaccines.” All vaccines will become mRNA. Once man discovered he can hack into and change human genetics, it opened up a whole new playing field for Satan to continue his thousands of years’ effort to destroy the seed of Adam. Satan knows his ultimate destination is the Lake of Fire and he’s hoping to take as many humans there with him. If he can change the genetic makeup to the extent that it destroys the human ability to connect with his/her Creator and exercise free will, that would be counted among his greatest achievements. I don’t think it will happen. Already, vast numbers of people have awakened to the fact that this new generation of vaccines are causing more death and physical harm than they are preventing. The latest government data shows only 7 percent of U.S. adults have taken the government-biopharma-security state’s latest Covid “booster.” This infuriates the globalist elites at the head of the government-biopharma-security complex. When these elites get angry, they get even more dangerous. The last thing they expected was for the sheep to wake up to the fact that they are being led to the slaughter.
Israel and its Muslim enemies will ramp up their war in the Middle East. I don’t pretend to know how this will play out. I do know that the U.S. will at some point abandon Israel and maybe that will be the best thing that ever happened to Israel, as it will finally be freed up to fight without one hand tied behind its back. If that happens, Israel will also be forced to cry out to God for its help, rather than dial up a fickle U.S. president who’s trying to play both sides of the conflict. On paper, Israel will have no chance of winning this war without U.S. and Western help. Victory will only come if Israel experiences divine intervention on its behalf. Unlike so many in the evangelical world, I do not presume to know how this grand confrontation will play out. In the meantime, it will always be my position that Israel has a right to defend itself without intervention from the U.N., the U.S., the E.U., Russia, China or anyone else. Period. I will add one caveat: If the recent reports are true that the IDF deliberately targeted a Christian church in Gaza with a sniper attack that killed a woman and her daughter, then Christians must not remain silent about that simply because they support Israel’s right to defend itself. War is hell, and civilians will always suffer the most in any war, but there is no defense strategy that is furthered by shooting Christians inside churches. Unlike the Muslim mosques, Christian churches do not multi-task as weapons storehouses. That being said, there’s a good chance that the ladies were killed accidentally by the Israelis or intentionally by Hamas, who then blamed it on the Israelis as part or their propaganda campaign. Hopefully the truth will prevail.
We must pray for peace and against the globalist warmongers, while at the same time preparing ourselves for war physically, mentally and spiritually. I believe God will preserve a remnant even within a collapsed empire that has made a point of casting Him out of its society, culture and even most of its churches.

More than half of New Yorkers now believe their state is in decline and won’t get better soon. Go figure, crime is listed as the Number 2 reason for the reported despair – behind only the cripplingly high cost of living. Recent events have led to a surge in crime leaving countless New Yorkers feeling susceptible to the violent wills of criminals.
The feelings aren’t political either, as according to a new Siena College poll, there’s wide agreement among each party affiliation – Republican, Democrat, and Independent – that violent crime remains a serious issue. At least 64 percent of each respective group says so.
“In assessing the severity of problems facing New York, there is, surprisingly, considerable agreement among Democrats, Republicans, and independents,” Siena College poster Steven Greenberg said of the findings.
Unfortunately, there’s some bad news-good news, though, for residents of the Empire State who want to exercise their right to defend themselves with a firearm as things are likely getting a lot worse before they get any better.
Bad And About to Get Worse
It’s no surprise crime has remained a top concern for New Yorkers. It’s been that way for several years and top city officials, including Mayor Eric Adams, haven’t done nearly enough to get tough on criminals. The mayor blamed the media for covering rampant crime, blaming them for scaring city residents and keeping crime in the headlines.
“Residents start their day picking up the news, the morning paper, they sit down, and they see some of the most horrific events that may happen throughout the previous day,” he bemoaned. That was in July, just a few months ago when more than 70 percent of city residents said they were either very or somewhat concerned about crime. The “tough on crime” mayor has yet to offer any solutions.

Adding to the mix are George Soros-backed soft-on-crime prosecutors like Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg who refuses to prosecute criminals when they are arrested. On his first day in office, he announced he would not prosecute several different types of crime, giving criminals free rein on the city in the name of “racial equity” in the system. DA Bragg even admitted he himself was concerned about Gotham’s crime situation, stating, “When one of my family members gets on the train, I get a knot in my stomach.”
Now, a new report from the New York City Police Department shows the bad situation is about to get a lot worse for law-abiding New Yorkers who just want safety. According to pension data, 2,516 NYPD cops have left so far this year, not counting December totals, marking the fourth highest number in the past decade. The data reveals the departures are likely not about money for the men and women in blue. The number of cops quitting before they reach the 20 years required to receive their full pensions skyrocketed from 509 in 2020 to 1,040 so far this year — an alarming 104 percent increase, according to the New York Post.
Police remaining in the force worry the exodus will only get worse because the city plans to cancel the next five Police Academy classes, shrinking the nation’s largest police force to the smallest that New York City has fielded in decades.
Good News in a Bad Situation
It’s not just the city-level politicians who are making life worrisome for New Yorkers. Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul hasn’t helped. New York is already one of the strictest states for gun control laws in the country for the restrictive and subjective “may issue” concealed carry permit laws that were in place just a few years ago. Once the U.S. Supreme Court struck down “may issue” laws in its Bruen decision, the governor didn’t hold back her disdain for the court’s decision.
She called the decision “disturbing,” “frightful” and “shocking.” In the wake of Bruen, she doubled down with even more restrictions on law-abiding New Yorkers who want to arm themselves for protection.
But in a bit of good news in the meantime, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit just struck down portions of Gov. Hochul’s Concealed Carry Improvement Act, her legislation enacted in response to Bruen. According to The Hill, the Second Circuit judges’ ruling blocks three provisions. The judges invalidated a requirement that concealed carry permit applicants must disclose their social media accounts and struck a provision banning gun possession by default on private property. The judges also prevented the state from enforcing a gun possession ban at places of worship.
“The State points to no historical law conditioning lawful carriage of a firearm on disclosing one’s pseudonyms or, more generally, on informing the government about one’s history of speech,” the judges wrote about the social media requirement. While the ruling is good news for law-abiding New Yorkers, the rest of the law remains intact for now and is unlikely to be the last word in the fight as the dispute could ultimately be heard at the U.S. Supreme Court.
Cause and Effect
With increased violence in cities across the country, lax prosecutors showing favor to criminals over victims and police departments losing thousands of cops to protect innocent civilians, it’s no wonder why so many are turning to the Second Amendment to be their own best line of self-defense.
Chris Cheng, who testified in the U.S. Senate in 2021 about the historic rise in minority gun ownership, stated it plainly when he testified before Congress.
“The past year-and-a-half or so with COVID-19 has been a pressure cooker… When you couple that with calls to defund the police and taking law enforcement officers off the street… it makes citizens like me less safe,” Cheng said. “If I can’t have law enforcement there, then it is a rational conclusion that individual citizens like myself would opt to utilize my Second Amendment right to purchase a firearm and use that firearm in lawful and legal self-defense,” he testified.
That was two years ago, and in places like Cheng’s California or in New York, crime is still a major concern. Gun control politicians who continue to push for more restrictions on law-abiding citizens just aren’t getting it. As a result, more Americans are buying firearms than ever before. If these politicians continue to fail their employers, they, too, may be shown the door.

For years, we have discussed the alarming shift in the Democratic party on free speech with candidates running on pledges to censor opposing views and politicians supporting blacklisting and censorship on social media. Earlier this month, the Georgia House Appropriations Committee convened to review budgets for the Fiscal Year 2025. During the hearing, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger began his plea for millions of dollars more for the voting machines and election systems that Georgia tax-payers just purchased for $107 million in 2019.
Raffensperger began his plea for the Elections Division funding by claiming, “Since day 1, election security has been my top priority and will continue to be so,” and then he referred to Georgia’s system as “battle-tested.” He then asserts that Georgia is a “national leader in elections” because they were the first state to have implemented “the trifecta of automatic voter registration, at least 17 days of early voting, which have been called the ‘Gold Standard’, and ‘no excuse’ absentee voting.”
None of those items he listed should be considered beneficial to “election security.”
Raffensperger went on to request $32.3 million for FY25, with nearly two-thirds of the request “designed to address election security issues” for a total of $20.2 million. He also requested $6 million to replace the “aging voting machine power supplies” on the less than five-year-old systems (which was also requested last year) as well as $4,125,000 for QR Code Readers. Georgia’s BMDs currently print the voter’s intent in a non-human-verifiable QR Code on the physical paper ballot.

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) joined the ranks of elected officials who have been swatted over the Christmas-New Year’s holiday with his Naples, Florida home being swatted Wednesday night. Most of those swatted over the past week have been Republican officials or conservative activists.

Missouri Court: Mark McCloskey Pardoned But Still Guilty

There is an interesting ruling in the ongoing litigation of the case of Mark McCloskey. We previously discussed the case, which became a cause célèbre for many on the left and the right after Mark and Patricia McCloskey of St. Louis appeared outside of their home in an armed standoff with protesters in St.Louis. I was highly skeptical of the charges brought by Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, who was later removed from the case due to ethical concerns. Mark McCloskey later pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors to end the case, but was then granted a pardon. He then sough the return of two firearms. The Missouri Court of Appeals has now prevented that return of the weapons by denying a motion for replevin. The basis for the decision is very interesting: McCloskey is pardoned but still considered guilty.
In McCloskey v. State, Judge James M. Dowd was joined by Judges John P. Torbitzky and Michael S. Wright in ruling that a pardon does not mean that you are innocent, but excised of guilt. As such, the state law on the seizure of the weapons stands. Since McCloskey pleaded guilty to misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and forfeited ownership and possession of the two firearms in exchange for the State dismissing the felony charge, the state law remains in force on confiscation of the weapons:
We find the foregoing authorities to be applicable here and dispositive. The law recognizes the difference between a conviction and guilt. Here, McCloskey pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and voluntarily forfeited his firearms in exchange for the State dismissing a felony charge punishable by imprisonment. Thus, his inability to recover his firearms is not a legal disqualification, impediment, or other legal disadvantage that is a consequence of his conviction. Rather, the permanent forfeiture is a consequence of his guilt. And because only the conviction is obliterated by the pardon and McCloskey’s guilt remains, we find that the governor’s pardon does not entitle him to possession of his forfeited firearms….
Lastly, McCloskey asserts he should have been allowed to try to the fact finder whether his firearms had been unconstitutionally seized in violation of the Second Amendment and further that their seizure was illegal in violation of his right to self-defense in conjunction with the castle doctrine. While McCloskey’s brief presents those interesting issues, none of them are before us. Instead, those issues could have been raised at the trial of the underlying charges had McCloskey not chosen to plead guilty to a lesser charge in exchange for surrendering the firearms at issue here…. “When a criminal defendant has solemnly admitted in open court that he is in fact guilty of the offense with which he is charged, he may not thereafter raise independent claims relating to the deprivation of constitutional lights that occurred prior to the entry of the guilty plea.” …
It is an interesting opinion since many view the pardon as restoring individuals to their prior status and removing past penalties associated with the conviction.
If upheld, the decision shows the cost of a plea when an individual is also seeking a pardon. Many had long called for a pardon to be issued, but governors will often wait for the legal system to play out to some degree before intervening. The pardon does not mean that you will be treated as innocent or that your property will be returned.
Presumably, if a pardon were issued before a plea (if allowed under state law), the weapons would have been subject to replevin. Under federal law, a president can issue a preemptive pardon. That was done by Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Johnson, and Jimmy Carter. There has been much debate for the possible use of a preemptive self-pardon by Donald Trump if he were to be elected in 2024.
The court also dismissed objections to statements by the court mischaracterizing his AR-15 rifle as an “assault rifle,” that the protesters were “peaceful,” that McCloskey threatened the protesters, and other false representations. However, since the gun forfeiture was a legal question, the court found that the statements were immaterial to the issue before it. The judges simply noted that McCloskey could have submitted evidence of self-defense “but instead chose to plead guilty.”

Legal scholar Johnathan Turley has become the latest victim of “swatting” as a 911 call was made falsely reporting someone was shot at his Virginia home.
“Yes, I was swatted this evening. It is regrettably a manifestation of our age of rage,” the George Washington University law professor said in a statement on Friday.
“However, we are grateful to the Fairfax police officers who were highly professional and supportive in responding to this harassment,” said Turley, who regularly writes op-eds for The Post.
Law enforcement responded to Turley’s Fairfax County home after an individual placed the bogus emergency call.
The Fairfax County Police Department confirmed that the caller falsely said somebody was shot at Turley’s address.

After 2023, surely no one will deny that Western civilisation is under threat from without and within.
My favourite story about Spinoza concerns the time he lost his cool. A philosopher, a Jew and history’s finest defender of Enlightenment, Spinoza was normally a picture of quiet reason. But when he heard about the lynching of Johan and Cornelis de Witt he became gripped by an uncommon fury. The de Witt brothers were key political figures in the Dutch Republic, the enlightened new nation in which Spinoza enjoyed such great liberty to think and write. On 20 August 1672, at The Hague, they were set upon by a ferocious mob that held them responsible for the invasion of the republic by a French-English alliance. They were murdered, mutilated and clumps of their flesh were eaten.
Spinoza was enraged. He made a plan to visit the site of the mob’s savagery to hold a one-man protest. Think Greta Thunberg, but enlightened. He prepared a placard to hold up. But his landlord restrained him, fearing he too would be slain by the mob. And so history was denied the image of one of our great philosophers staging a lonely, angry protest. What did his makeshift placard say? It had two words on it. ‘Ultimi barbarorum.’ Rough translation: ‘You are the greatest of barbarians.’
This year more than any other I’ve understood how Spinoza felt. On numerous occasions in 2023 I’ve been tempted to go places with a placard saying ‘Ultimi barbarorum’. To the kibbutzim of southern Israel following Hamas’s fascistic savagery against the Jews there on 7 October. To George Washington University after students projected the words ‘Glory to our martyrs’ on the side of the library building: young Americans of unimaginable privilege taking pleasure in the butchery of Jews. To the lovely, leafy campus of Columbia in New York City where students planned to hold a meeting on Hamas’s stirring ‘counter-offensive’. To those ‘pro-Palestine’ marches in London at which the morally treacherous middle classes marched alongside individuals dressed as Hamas terrorists and extremists chanting for yet more slaughter in Israel: ‘Jihad, jihad, jihad!’
To New York University where students shouted, ‘We don’t want no Jew state / We want all of it’: a cry by the comfortable for Hamas to finish the genocidal job of eliminating Jews in the Middle East. To the streets of Manhattan where protesters shouted ‘Shame on you!’ at an Israeli woman whose daughter was kidnapped and brutalised by Hamas. Shaming the victims of racist terror – a low even for the unhinged woke. To any gathering of politically minded Gen Zers, to be frank, after polls found that huge numbers of them view Jews as an ‘oppressor class’ and believe Hamas’s pogrom was ‘justified’. And to the Sydney Opera House, where radical Islamists chanted ‘Gas the Jews’ and ‘Fuck the Jews’ mere days after Hamas murdered the Jews. Nazi-style parades, uncontained glee at genocidal violence, on the streets of a Western city.
At every place I’ve wanted to say ‘Ultimi barbarorum’. To call out both barbarism and its intellectual apologists. To express Spinoza-style disgust for these new enemies of Western civilisation. For make no mistake, that’s what they are. From Hamas to the radical Islamists in Europe who feel inspired by Hamas to the West’s own sons and daughters of privilege who make excuses for Hamas – all have proven themselves in 2023 to be the adversaries of truth, culture and reason. Surely no one will now deny that Western civilisation is under assault on two fronts: from without and within?
The West’s bourgeois left loves to larp as Marxists, often quoting the great Rosa Luxemburg: ‘Socialism or barbarism!’ This year we discovered which side of that clash they take – it isn’t Luxemburg’s. The apologism for Hamas in privileged circles has been mind-blowing. Hamas’s bestial violence against the Jews has been denied, downplayed or outright justified. A ‘day of celebration’ is how one privately educated pretend radical in Britain described the racist butchery of 7 October. This sympathy with barbarism, this receptiveness to acts of staggering dehumanisation, goes beyond Israelophobia. It speaks to more than the witless hate for Israel that’s been rampant in right-thinking circles for years.
It even touches on something deeper than the scourge of identity politics, though that politics no doubt shapes the infantile hot take that Jews are permanent oppressors and Palestinians are forever victims. No, the sympathy shown by woke Westerners for Hamas’s apocalyptic violence reveals a moral kinship between these two sections of global society. It exposes their shared contempt for Western civilisation, their shared indifference to human suffering, and their shared loathing of freedom.
The fallout from 7 October brought to the surface a crisis of Western civilisation that has been brewing for decades. It confirmed that when you socialise the young into a system of loathing for their own civilisation not only do you make them indifferent to the threats faced by that civilisation – you make them welcome such threats, to embrace them as necessary moral correctives to our own hubris and misplaced exceptionalism.
Having educated the young to view the West as a racist entity; to fear America and Britain as nations born in the sins of slavery and Empire; to ‘decolonise’ their own learning of those arrogant white men of Enlightenment; to eschew science as a Western conceit that negates more indigenous ways of knowing; and to doubt the existence of truth itself, we cannot now be shocked to find them so cavalier about a violent assault on this awful, unspeakable West. In this case, Hamas’s racist onslaught on the people of a state that is seen to embody Western values in the Middle East. For many today, ‘Western civilisation is synonymous with racism, oppression and exploitation’, as one academic puts it. So why not celebrate its violent humiliation? Why not revel in the degradation of those who enjoy its gains?
We cannot afford to underestimate how significant it is that many of our young sympathise with Hamas and view the Jews they butchered as oppressors. This must be a moral watershed for the West. In turning the young against civilisation, we’ve marched them into the arms of barbarism. We have lost them to Hamas.
The unholy marriage between wokeism and Islamism can no longer be denied. Both scorn the idea of Western civilisation. Both disavow Enlightenment as Western arrogance. Both dread the march of modernity, whether as a threat to Gaia or Sharia. And both hate Jews. One side views them as pigs and monkeys, the other as an oppressor class. Once again Jews have come to be seen as the embodiment of modernity, and therefore the enemies of modernity, whether that’s the civilisation sceptics of our own elite universities or the civilisation attackers of radical Islam, turn on them. Viciously. The woke dehumanise them as oppressors, Hamas dehumanises them with violence. Both are assaults not only on Jews but also on the civilisational conscience itself.
There is a reluctance, these days, to speak of a clash between civilisation and barbarism. It feels too old-world. And yet its existence can no longer be ignored. Today we face not merely a clash of civilisations, but, perhaps more importantly, a clash within Western civilisation. On one side, those who have abandoned reason, on the other those of us who wish to defend it. A movement in 2024 against the barbarorum of our times would be no bad thing.

New U.S. Poll Raises Questions about Americans’ Support for Israel’s War Against Hamas
A new poll of American public opinion… finds that nearly a third of the American public holds anti-Israel views in light of the war in Gaza.
The survey, conducted on December 13, 2023, found overall sympathy for Israel among Americans still at high levels.
“However, in the current survey, we saw that even some supporters of Israel have started questioning important issues…
“Consistent with previous and other polls, the hard core of approximately 25-33% of anti-Israel sentiment continues to be reflected in this survey.…
“The main problem is with the Israeli attacks in Gaza, with over 34% believing that the Hamas reports about civilian casualties and damage are reliable, and they hold Israel responsible.”

Issues examined:
• There seems to be no difference in feeling towards the effectiveness of pro-Palestinian versus pro-Israel demonstrations.
• Over 21% agreed that Jews exaggerate the Holocaust to gain world sympathy. (About 26% did not disagree, expressing no opinion.)
• Over 22% agreed that Hamas targets mostly military targets in their missile attacks against Israel. (About 38.5% neutral, neither agree nor disagree.)
• Over 24% felt that reports of sexual attacks against Israeli women by Hamas were exaggerated. (About 35% did not know or were unsure.) [! ! ! !]
• Close to 24% agreed that reports of kidnapped Israelis being held hostage by Hamas are not entirely true. (Close to 35% neutral, neither agree nor disagree.)
• Over 34% felt that reports of Israel’s responsibility for civilian deaths in Gaza are not exaggerated. (About 33% did not know or were unsure)
• While more felt Israel was more interested in peace than “the Palestinians” (28%-18%), over 34% felt that neither party was interested in peace.

Released hostage Mia Schem says she ‘went through a Holocaust’ whilst being held in Gaza
The 21-year-old Israeli also claimed: ‘Everyone in Gaza is a terrorist’
An Israeli woman taken hostage by Hamas for 54 days claimed she “went through a Holocaust” while being held captive in Gaza.
Mia Schem, 21, revealed that she felt “like an animal in a zoo” after being taken on October 7. She was later released in November.
She also told Channel 13 in an interview to be aired on Thursday: “Everyone [in Gaza] is a terrorist”.
The French-Israeli citizen was taken hostage from the Supernova festival alongside dozens of others.
She was the first person to appear in a Hamas hostage video on October 16.
In the video, she said: “Hi, I’m Mia Schem, 21 years old from Shoham. Currently, I’m in Gaza. I returned early Saturday morning from Sderot; I was at a party. I was seriously injured in my hand.
“I underwent surgery on my hand at the hospital [in Gaza] for three hours. They are taking care of me, giving me medicine, everything is fine.”
Schem has now shared that her procedure was performed with “no anaesthesia, no nothing” in a surgery that left her “choking on [her] own tears”.
She revealed that she was told by a member of the terrorist group: “Enough, or I will send you down the tunnel”.

Former President Donald Trump does not believe that Joe Biden or Kamala Harris will be the Democrat nominee for the 2024 presidential election.
Trump said that he believes, at some point, the primary will become a “free-for-all” of Democrats hoping to become the nominee.
Speaking to Breitbart News, Trump said that he hopes Biden is the nominee, but “can’t believe” it would actually happen.
“He’s a cheater. He’s a scoundrel. He’s a bad guy,” Trump said of Biden. “But in his life, he’s always been able to convince people he’s this really nice guy. I laugh when they say, ‘Trump is the evil one, and he’s the nice one.’ That’s the one thing he’s been able to do. All you have to do is look at his credentials. When you compare him today to 15 or 20 years ago, he’s a different kind of a guy. The guy can’t talk. The guy can’t put two sentences together. So I do think this: I cannot believe he’s going to be the nominee. I hope he is. But I can’t believe he’s going to be the nominee.”

10 predictions for 2024: Get ready for tough times with war and economic collapse on the horizon
Expect civil unrest to break out in 2024 as globalist elites go for the final takedown of America as we know it in preparation for their satanic digital reset of the world order
The year 2023 will go down in history as the point at which the globalists completed the assembly of a massive secret army inside the U.S. in preparation for the final takedown of America, transforming it into Amerika.
By my calculations, there are anywhere from 1.5 million to 5 million foreign soldiers already inside the U.S. awaiting orders. My math is based on the government’s own statistics for illegals entering the U.S. over the last three years and then I estimated how many were military-age males using very conservative numbers on the low end and moderately conservative numbers on the top end. The most conservative number, 1.5 million, assumes that no foreign agents of military age were already here prior to January 2021, which of course we know cannot be the case but I wanted to demonstrate just how conservative these numbers are.
So, we have 1.5 million, at the very least, super-fit males of military age we’ve seen entering the U.S. as “asylum seekers,” which has become the new Orwellian term for illegal aliens. It’s no longer a secret. You can go on X, formerly Twitter, and watch countless videos of waves of men entering the U.S. with no papers to identify who they are. Even if we go with the ultra-conservative figure of a 1.5 million-man army now assembled inside the United States, that is formidable by anyone’s standards.
Now, what if all those weapons purchased by U.S. federal government agencies were accumulated for the purpose of arming this assembled army? Think about that. Everyone wondered why federal agencies with no law enforcement role, like the Small Business Administration, Department of Agriculture and Health and Human Services, were buying up guns and ammo under Obama’s administration and now again under Biden’s regime. This unprecedented militarization of the federal government did not even stop under Trump, it just slowed down. I am not here to tell you why those agencies have felt the need to arm up, but I can tell you that the reason cannot be good. One plausible explanation would be that they will use these stockpiles to supply one side in a coming civil war that has probably been planned for a long time.
2023 was also the year they told us their plans in the wide open (“they” being the billionaires and multi-millionaires associated with the globalist World Economic Forum and its United Nations-allied, Vatican-allied agenda which they hope to have completely implemented by 2030).
They want a completely digital economy with digital IDs for everyone and no more cash, only digital tokens, meaning no more privacy or freedom for anyone. They will know everywhere you go, everything you buy, everyone you associate with, and they will use that information to either reward or punish you based on your carbon footprint. Combining the dual tracking tools of digital ID with digital currency, the powers that be will finally have a fool-proof method of tracking, monitoring and assigning social credit scores to every human being who walks the earth. The digital money and digital IDs will link up with the embedded (and internet-connected) Smart-City technology being installed in nearly every city throughout the world. This technology is being installed by government contractors right under the noses of fully ignorant residents in cities of all sizes – it’s for our safety, they tell us. In reality, they are hoping to build a population of cyborgs.
The globalists also told us repeatedly in 2023 that we, as human beings, are no longer needed. They have AI now and that is fully capable of handling most of the tasks that corporations and governments have in the past paid human beings to perform. I presume that means they will start doing away with the most unneeded among us in 2024. There are too many useless people, says Yuval Harari, one of Klaus Schwab’s chief lieutenants at the WEF.
Also in 2023, they opened the gates of World War III by provoking Russia and trying to back that country’s leader into a dangerous corner. In the process of trying to achieve a regime change in Russia, they practically emptied out the munitions arsenals of the entire West, sending endless supplies of 155mm shells, Patriot missiles, ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles, drones and other key weapons to Ukraine and Israel. These stockpiles will take years to replenish and nobody’s really talking about it.
With that background, here are a few of my predictions for 2024 (some are more like trends than predictions):
The continued war on free speech and First Amendment. The United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) announced on November 6, 2023, that a global plan to silence free speech on the Internet was in play. Correct me if I’m wrong but I didn’t hear anyone in the U.S. administration of Joe Biden reject the UNESCO statement or that the U.S., that bastion of “democracy,” would choose not to participate.
The continued war on the Second Amendment. This is so obviously already underway that it requires no explanation. The latest scheme by the Biden regime is to use federal tax dollars to pay the states to implement the gun-control laws that it has been unable to pass. The only question is, will Americans succumb like the folks in Australia and New Zealand did and give up their guns?
Continued global war on food and fiat currencies. The death of the U.S. dollar will lead to a death of brick-and-mortar retail, and shortages of many common items as the supply chain continues to erode and the economy slowly melts down. As all of those U.S. dollars once used by foreign nations to purchase products in international trade come flooding back home to the U.S., we are looking at the prospect of rampant inflation, especially for anything fuel or food related. Before they can fully implement the central bank digital currencies, they must utterly make worthless the paper fiat currencies, and 2024 will be the year they do that.
MAJOR cyberattacks will target banking and financial sectors, communications and possibly even shut down large portions of the electric power grid, causing widespread panic and unrest. This will be done either by the U.S. government or by a foreign power with the knowledge of the U.S. government. The idea is to blame the misery on a foreign boogey man like Russia or China, most likely Russia, which is always the boogey man of choice for the U.S. government. This will allow the U.S. government to fuel anti-Russian hatred, appeal to Americans’ sense of patriotism, and implement a military draft as it prepares for all-out war with Russia-China in 2025.
Lawlessness and civil unrest will continue to increase heading up to the November 5, 2024 election and beyond. The prospect of civil war (followed by World War III in 2025?) is now highly likely. I would estimate the threat of civil war breaking out in 2024 at greater than 50-50 for reasons I have explained in previous articles.
Construction of a wall at the U.S.-Mexico border finally commences in 2024, but not for the reason most Americans think. The wall will be built not to keep foreigners out but to keep Americans in. The globalists have already assembled a foreign army of sleeper cells inside the U.S. How many more troops will they need? Not too many more, in my opinion. Near the end of 2024 don’t be surprised if you see construction started on a wall. Every effective dictatorship needs a wall to keep its citizens in check and, as I’ve explained previously, the U.S. is no longer a constitutional republic. Why would we expect it to suddenly start acting like one again?
There are two potential scenarios surrounding Donald J. Trump. Under Scenario A, Trump gets elected in a landslide but is never allowed to see the inside of the White House. The regime in Washington calls out BLM and antifa to set fire to the streets in “mostly peaceful” protests, then declares martial law and accuses Trump of being an enemy of the state who was elected under false pretenses. MAGA people are rounded up and placed in camps. They put out a warrant for Trump’s arrest or maybe have him assassinated by one of their patsies. Under Scenario B, Trump loses to Biden or whoever runs on the Democrat ticket because Colorado, Maine and several other states are trying to remove him from the ballot or maybe they keep him on the ballot but stuff ballot boxes with fake votes. If possible, even the elect will be deceived. “Forbidden blessings,” aka demonic blessings for forbidden relationships, will bring great reproach to the name of Jesus Christ, which is what Bergoglio and others have been doing already for several years. They are sowing division and confusion among the flock in the Catholic Church, and likewise in the Protestant Church. Like in China, most of the true believers will break away into home churches.
Continued ramping up of the government-corporate propaganda campaign to push fear of viruses and sickness. This is all geared toward the purposeful effort to inject human beings with more mRNA “vaccines.” All vaccines will become mRNA. Once man discovered he can hack into and change human genetics, it opened up a whole new playing field for Satan to continue his thousands of years’ effort to destroy the seed of Adam. Satan knows his ultimate destination is the Lake of Fire and he’s hoping to take as many humans there with him. If he can change the genetic makeup to the extent that it destroys the human ability to connect with his/her Creator and exercise free will, that would be counted among his greatest achievements. I don’t think it will happen. Already, vast numbers of people have awakened to the fact that this new generation of vaccines are causing more death and physical harm than they are preventing. The latest government data shows only 7 percent of U.S. adults have taken the government-biopharma-security state’s latest Covid “booster.” This infuriates the globalist elites at the head of the government-biopharma-security complex. When these elites get angry, they get even more dangerous. The last thing they expected was for the sheep to wake up to the fact that they are being led to the slaughter.
Israel and its Muslim enemies will ramp up their war in the Middle East. I don’t pretend to know how this will play out. I do know that the U.S. will at some point abandon Israel and maybe that will be the best thing that ever happened to Israel, as it will finally be freed up to fight without one hand tied behind its back. If that happens, Israel will also be forced to cry out to God for its help, rather than dial up a fickle U.S. president who’s trying to play both sides of the conflict. On paper, Israel will have no chance of winning this war without U.S. and Western help. Victory will only come if Israel experiences divine intervention on its behalf. Unlike so many in the evangelical world, I do not presume to know how this grand confrontation will play out. In the meantime, it will always be my position that Israel has a right to defend itself without intervention from the U.N., the U.S., the E.U., Russia, China or anyone else. Period. I will add one caveat: If the recent reports are true that the IDF deliberately targeted a Christian church in Gaza with a sniper attack that killed a woman and her daughter, then Christians must not remain silent about that simply because they support Israel’s right to defend itself. War is hell, and civilians will always suffer the most in any war, but there is no defense strategy that is furthered by shooting Christians inside churches. Unlike the Muslim mosques, Christian churches do not multi-task as weapons storehouses. That being said, there’s a good chance that the ladies were killed accidentally by the Israelis or intentionally by Hamas, who then blamed it on the Israelis as part or their propaganda campaign. Hopefully the truth will prevail.
We must pray for peace and against the globalist warmongers, while at the same time preparing ourselves for war physically, mentally and spiritually. I believe God will preserve a remnant even within a collapsed empire that has made a point of casting Him out of its society, culture and even most of its churches.

Gun Control Advocates Mystified that New Yorkers Would Turn To The Second Amendment

More than half of New Yorkers now believe their state is in decline and won’t get better soon. Go figure, crime is listed as the Number 2 reason for the reported despair – behind only the cripplingly high cost of living. Recent events have led to a surge in crime leaving countless New Yorkers feeling susceptible to the violent wills of criminals.
The feelings aren’t political either, as according to a new Siena College poll, there’s wide agreement among each party affiliation – Republican, Democrat, and Independent – that violent crime remains a serious issue. At least 64 percent of each respective group says so.
“In assessing the severity of problems facing New York, there is, surprisingly, considerable agreement among Democrats, Republicans, and independents,” Siena College poster Steven Greenberg said of the findings.
Unfortunately, there’s some bad news-good news, though, for residents of the Empire State who want to exercise their right to defend themselves with a firearm as things are likely getting a lot worse before they get any better.
Bad And About to Get Worse
It’s no surprise crime has remained a top concern for New Yorkers. It’s been that way for several years and top city officials, including Mayor Eric Adams, haven’t done nearly enough to get tough on criminals. The mayor blamed the media for covering rampant crime, blaming them for scaring city residents and keeping crime in the headlines.
“Residents start their day picking up the news, the morning paper, they sit down, and they see some of the most horrific events that may happen throughout the previous day,” he bemoaned. That was in July, just a few months ago when more than 70 percent of city residents said they were either very or somewhat concerned about crime. The “tough on crime” mayor has yet to offer any solutions.

Adding to the mix are George Soros-backed soft-on-crime prosecutors like Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg who refuses to prosecute criminals when they are arrested. On his first day in office, he announced he would not prosecute several different types of crime, giving criminals free rein on the city in the name of “racial equity” in the system. DA Bragg even admitted he himself was concerned about Gotham’s crime situation, stating, “When one of my family members gets on the train, I get a knot in my stomach.”
Now, a new report from the New York City Police Department shows the bad situation is about to get a lot worse for law-abiding New Yorkers who just want safety. According to pension data, 2,516 NYPD cops have left so far this year, not counting December totals, marking the fourth highest number in the past decade. The data reveals the departures are likely not about money for the men and women in blue. The number of cops quitting before they reach the 20 years required to receive their full pensions skyrocketed from 509 in 2020 to 1,040 so far this year — an alarming 104 percent increase, according to the New York Post.
Police remaining in the force worry the exodus will only get worse because the city plans to cancel the next five Police Academy classes, shrinking the nation’s largest police force to the smallest that New York City has fielded in decades.
Good News in a Bad Situation
It’s not just the city-level politicians who are making life worrisome for New Yorkers. Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul hasn’t helped. New York is already one of the strictest states for gun control laws in the country for the restrictive and subjective “may issue” concealed carry permit laws that were in place just a few years ago. Once the U.S. Supreme Court struck down “may issue” laws in its Bruen decision, the governor didn’t hold back her disdain for the court’s decision.
She called the decision “disturbing,” “frightful” and “shocking.” In the wake of Bruen, she doubled down with even more restrictions on law-abiding New Yorkers who want to arm themselves for protection.
But in a bit of good news in the meantime, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit just struck down portions of Gov. Hochul’s Concealed Carry Improvement Act, her legislation enacted in response to Bruen. According to The Hill, the Second Circuit judges’ ruling blocks three provisions. The judges invalidated a requirement that concealed carry permit applicants must disclose their social media accounts and struck a provision banning gun possession by default on private property. The judges also prevented the state from enforcing a gun possession ban at places of worship.
“The State points to no historical law conditioning lawful carriage of a firearm on disclosing one’s pseudonyms or, more generally, on informing the government about one’s history of speech,” the judges wrote about the social media requirement. While the ruling is good news for law-abiding New Yorkers, the rest of the law remains intact for now and is unlikely to be the last word in the fight as the dispute could ultimately be heard at the U.S. Supreme Court.
Cause and Effect
With increased violence in cities across the country, lax prosecutors showing favor to criminals over victims and police departments losing thousands of cops to protect innocent civilians, it’s no wonder why so many are turning to the Second Amendment to be their own best line of self-defense.
Chris Cheng, who testified in the U.S. Senate in 2021 about the historic rise in minority gun ownership, stated it plainly when he testified before Congress.
“The past year-and-a-half or so with COVID-19 has been a pressure cooker… When you couple that with calls to defund the police and taking law enforcement officers off the street… it makes citizens like me less safe,” Cheng said. “If I can’t have law enforcement there, then it is a rational conclusion that individual citizens like myself would opt to utilize my Second Amendment right to purchase a firearm and use that firearm in lawful and legal self-defense,” he testified.
That was two years ago, and in places like Cheng’s California or in New York, crime is still a major concern. Gun control politicians who continue to push for more restrictions on law-abiding citizens just aren’t getting it. As a result, more Americans are buying firearms than ever before. If these politicians continue to fail their employers, they, too, may be shown the door.
