Reader’s Links for December 12th, 2023

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. I cried ……from about minute 16, when Caroline Glick reads out a letter from a young, fallen IDF soldier. Not because Ms. Glick’s delivery is schmaltzy, to the contrary, its quality is of a timid reticence and is, perhaps just because of this, all the more poignant. And the words of this young, proud and brave Jew just simply shine.

But I always come away from Caroline Glick, having learned.

Everyone, Jewish or not, will come away from these 30 minutes having learned, I am sure.

The Woman in the Hamas Video Is My Daughter

You have seen the video of my daughter Naama Levy. Everyone has. You have seen her dragged by her long brown hair from the back of a Jeep at gunpoint, somewhere in Gaza, her gray sweatpants covered in blood. You may have perhaps noticed that her ankles are cut, that she’s barefoot and limping. She is seriously injured. She is frightened. And I, her mother, am helpless in these moments of horror.

The New York Times Is Wrong about Israeli Intelligence

The bad-faith reporting of Israeli news in the New York Times can overcome even the simplest arithmetic. Last month, there was a day-long rally for Israel in Washington that filled its Mall, with police attendance estimates ranging between 250,000 and 300,000. In the pages of the NYT, however, this became a gathering of “tens of thousands.”

A carefully contrived misrepresentation of the reason that Israel was caught by surprise on Oct. 7 was headlined “Israel Knew Hamas’ Attack Plan More than a Year Ago,” in a Nov. 30 NYT story. Had Israeli intelligence analysis, or the arrival of a complete war plan sold by an enterprising operative, revealed Hamas’ plan for an attack on Oct. 7, the Israelis would have sent much stronger forces to guard the Gaza perimeter. But then, of course, Hamas spotters would have seen Israeli troops ready to defeat them – and they would have called off the attack altogether.

There is worse: once an attack warning is received and reinforcements are deployed so that the enemy calls off its planned attack, the intelligence indicators that got it right will be discredited as false alarms, while the intelligence officers who failed to heed the signs will be the ones everyone listens to the next time around.

When a complete Hamas war plan was captured more than a year ago, it was one of many – Hamas was always fantasizing about mass attacks, but would then limit itself to the launch of its rockets that Israel could reliably intercept.

In the half century between the intelligence failures of October 1973 and October 2023, the system worked well. Once in 50 years, the system fails – but the alternative, of mobilizing in response to every possible threat, would be far worse.

The two faces of Henry Kissinger
This nice Jewish boy was a natural liar

In the coming days, many will lavish praise and blame on Henry Kissinger for what he did and did not do. A prime example is the coup in Chile that removed Salvador Allende in 1973, which Kissinger welcomed but did not cause. With thousands of US academics teaching the falsehood of his guilt as truth, Kissinger just had to live with the calumny. Instead of assigning blame or praise, I will limit myself to personal recollections.

Hamas Creates New Terrorist Group to Destroy Lebanon

In the past two months, Hamas terrorists in Lebanon have carried out rocket attacks on Israeli soldiers and civilians in northern Israel.

On Dec. 4, the Iran-backed Palestinian terror group Hamas announced the establishment of a new terrorist group in Lebanon with the goal of “liberating Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

Hamas has called on Palestinians living in Lebanon to join the “Vanguards of the Al-Aqsa Flood,” the name it chose for its barbaric invasion of Israeli communities near the Gaza border on Oct. 7.

The announcement has drawn sharp criticism from many Lebanese, who fear that Hamas and its patrons in Tehran are seeking to drag Lebanon into a destructive war with Israel. The Lebanese see how Hamas has brought devastation down on the Palestinians in Gaza.

Ultimately, the war Israel is currently waging against Hamas will weaken the Iran-led axis of evil in the Middle East; embolden Arabs to speak out against Hamas, Hizbullah and other terror groups; and finally hugely improve the lives of all the Arabs and Palestinians in the region by working toward peace with Israel.

A missile fired by Yemen’s Houthi rebels slammed into the Norwegian-flagged oil and chemical tanker Strinda in the Red Sea off the coast of Yemen, authorities said Tuesday. The assault expands a campaign by the Iranian-backed rebels targeting ships close to the Bab el-Mandeb Strait into striking those that have no clear ties to Israel.

Geir Belsnes, the CEO of the Strinda’s operator, J. Ludwig Mowinckels Rederi, said the vessel was coming from Malaysia and was bound for the Suez Canal and then on to Italy with a cargo of palm oil. Houthi military spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Yahya Saree claimed, without offering any evidence, that the ship was bound for Israel.

Israel’s national security adviser, Tzachi Hanegbi, said Israel has called on its Western allies to address the threats from Yemen and would give them “some time” to organize a response. But if the threats persist, “we will act to remove this blockade.”

Sirens sounded several times throughout Tuesday, with terrorists sending hostile aircraft into Israeli territory, as well as launching rockets towards northern Israel.

“A number of interceptors were launched at the target and the incident has concluded.”

The launches continued, however, and the IDF later reported that “a number of launches were identified toward areas in the western Galilee. During to the incident, an interceptor was launched.”

“Alerts were activated in the city of Acre due to the danger of falling fragments from the interceptor. No launches were identified toward the area of the city.

  8. This is how experts determine the deaths of hostages still held in Gaza

[The head of the Institute of Forensic Medicine, Dr. Chen Kugel,] described how they determine the death of hostages in Gaza: “You look at the videos and try to identify what injuries they have, whether these injuries are compatible with life or not, you try to identify breathing movements, movements of eyelids, signs that appear in people after death.”

Dr. Kugel spoke about documentation which they examined, to see if the person who was lying in the same position was still breathing. In one case, the staff disagreed if the person was dead or alive, and only after receiving more information they determined the death of that person.

He added that the staff rely on testimonies from hostages who returned from Gaza, emphasizing “we must have some perspective, actually see some evidence.”

Later he referred to the condition of the bodies and the examination of the hostages who returned from captivity to record signs of violence and injuries: “Meeting the hostages is more difficult, even though they are alive, because you hear from them what happened,” he said.

Dr. Kugel also noted sensitive gestures by citizens who surprised them with Shabbat food – which made him emotional.

Finally, he shared that the handling of bodies and the harsh scenes has affected him. “I’ve aged, I suddenly feel that years have passed.” He talked about thoughts of retiring and described: “I’m much sadder, I make less jokes, how can I laugh in lectures?”

  9. Controversy Erupts When Student Fails Quiz for Answering CORRECTLY!

    Children ‘are taught the opposite’

A controversy that appears to pit science against the leftist ideologies of wokeness, with wokeness winning, has erupted in the Pacific Northwest.

It’s because a student failed a quiz in school by answering correctly – and scientifically. But his responses were contrary to the wokeness in which many public schools are submerged these days.

He explained how far afield from reality one teacher has strayed. “An activist history teacher failed a Seattle student on a quiz for saying only women can get pregnant and that only men have penises.”

Rantz noted, “10th grade Ethnic Studies World History teacher at Chief Sealth International High School in Seattle gave students a quiz titled, ‘Understanding Gender vs. Sex.’ The quiz provided a series of statements to label true or false, or questions with multiple choices.”

According to the report, “Teams of investigators from the FBI, GBI, and Georgia SOS conducted independent and simultaneous interviews of Fulton County elections workers who were involved in the processing and scanning of absentee ballots at State Farm Arena on Election Night on November 3, 2020. The Georgia State Farm Center Election Night Report Is Proof that Chris Wray’s FBI Was in on the Election Fraud Cover-Up and More
    by Jim Hoft Dec. 12, 2023 8:00 am197 Comments

This is the second part to our series on the FBI report on illicit and illegal election night activities at the State Farm Center in Atlanta, Georgia on November 3, 2020.

As reported on Monday – Chris Wray’s FBI, along with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office, released a report in June 2023 where they announced that they “did not uncover any violations” during their investigation of the late-night ballot counting at The State Farm Center in Atlanta, Georgia on Election Day November 3, 2020.

According to the report, “Teams of investigators from the FBI, GBI, and Georgia SOS conducted independent and simultaneous interviews of Fulton County elections workers who were involved in the processing and scanning of absentee ballots at State Farm Arena on Election Night on November 3, 2020. Investigators from the three law enforcement agencies also reviewed the entire unedited security video footage of the events in question at State Farm Arena. SOS investigators independently interviewed party observers who were present at State Farm Arena that evening.”

They say they did not uncover any violations or evidence of wrongdoing. That’s because they hid it from their report.

The interviews for this investigation took place back in December 2020 following the November 2020 election.

According to the FBI-GBI report, the “bulk of the investigation appears to have been conducted in December 2020 and January 2021, but both the State Election Board and the Georgia Secretary of State’s office was backed up reviewing claims.”

Again, the report was just released in June 2023 by Chris Wray’s FBI and the GBI in Georgia – along with Georgia SOS Brad Raffensperger. It appears that there was no new information in the report other than what was known in December 2020, so it begs the question – Why did it take three years for Chris Wray’s FBI to release the report?

West Virginia Secretary of State and Gubernatorial Candidate Says 2020 Election Was ‘Stolen by the CIA’
    by Jim H?ft Dec. 12, 2023 7:30 am700 Comments

In a recent gubernatorial debate, West Virginia Secretary of State Mac Warner, a Republican, made the bold statement that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) played a role in stealing the 2020 presidential election from Donald Trump.

As a 23-year veteran of the U.S. Army and the current Secretary of State of West Virginia, Warner positions himself as a “battle-tested leader” on his campaign website. His military and administrative experiences form a significant part of his gubernatorial campaign.

During a recent debate held by Metro News, Warner doubled down on his past allegations of widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

This time, he implicated the CIA directly, stating, “The election was stolen, and it was stolen by the CIA.”

Warner referred to testimony by Mike Morrell, the former Deputy Director of the CIA, before Jim Jordan’s House Judiciary Committee. He highlighted Morrell’s testimony regarding a conversation with Antony Blinken, a Biden campaign senior adviser who later became Secretary of State.

According to Warner, this conversation involved a report about Hunter Biden’s laptop and occurred just days before the release of an Oct. 19, 2020, statement from 51 former intelligence officials. The statement suggested that the story about Hunter Biden’s laptop was ‘influenced’ by a Russian disinformation campaign.

“When Mike Morell testified under oath to Jim Jordan that, yes, he colluded with Antony Blinken to sell a lie to the American people two weeks before the election for the very purpose of throwing the presidential election. How does it not get stolen if the FBI covers it up and Mark Zuckerberg pays $400 million to put his thumb on the scale? That’s not fair,” Warner said.

  13. Muslim pupils ‘offended’ by Renaissance painting of nudes to be disciplined

Muslim pupils who expressed outrage after their teacher presented a Renaissance painting of nude women in class will be disciplined, France’s education minister has pledged.

A French teacher at the multicultural Jacques-Cartier college showed students the painting Diana and Actaeon by the Italian artist Giuseppe Cesari, which portrays a Greek mythology story in which the hunter Actaeon sees the goddess Diana and her nymphs are bathing.

The work, which depicts a naked Diana and four female companions, is held at the Louvre museum in Paris.

Sophie Vénétitay, secretary general of the Snes-FSU secondary school teachers’ union, said: “During a French class, a colleague showed a 17th-century painting that showed naked women.”

“Some students averted their gaze, felt offended, said they were shocked,” said Ms Vénétitay, adding that “some also alleged the teacher made racist comments” during a class discussion.

A pupil’s parent sent an email to the school director saying that his son was prevented from speaking during that discussion and that he would file a complaint.

  14. French Muslim school to lose funding over teaching: official

The French government will end state subsidies for the country’s biggest Muslim high school receiving state funds, authorities said, following controversy over the ideas set out in its teaching.

The move against the Averroes school, founded 20 years ago in the northern city of Lille, follows a recommendation by a consulting commission that examined both its financing and its teaching of Muslim ethics.

Private schools can receive state subsidies in France under a contract with the government, so long as they are open to all students, and follow the state’s education guidelines.

But the agreement will be cancelled next year and the money cut off, according to a decision made Thursday, the departmental authorities told AFP late Sunday.

According to Le Parisien daily, the commission found irregularities in the school’s management, and its teachings — notably of Muslim ethics — that it judged to be in violation of French republican values.

The paper said that inspectors found teaching was lacking on societal content such as LGBTQ topics, and an excessive emphasis on Islam in courses on religion, to the detriment of other faiths.

Even before the decision was announced, the school said it would lodge an appeal with an administrative court against any defunding move.

The high school of 800 pupils — 400 of whom are covered by the state convention — regularly scores highly in academic standards, but came onto the radar of local authorities after receiving a grant from Qatar in 2014.

National school inspectors said in a 2020 report that they found nothing at odds with national education guidelines.

But the regional prefecture, in a report in November, said it suspected the Averroes school of illicit financing, and giving students access to

  15. Prof. Martin van Creveld:
    Not for the IDF Alone

Ever since the first day of the current Israeli-Palestinian war on 7 October 2023, Israel’s media have been bristling with stories about heroic Israeli (not Palestinian, needless to say) women… How some of them were killed just as men were. Here I want to say, loud and clear: almost all of it is nonsense…

First, the nonsense. … as of 21 November, 392 IDF soldiers had lost their lives. Of those 40, or one in eight, were female. …

At first sight one in eight does not appear totally unreasonable, given that most of the troops on active service are reservists and that far fewer female reservists than male ones were called up. However, pay attention to the following. The male casualties on the list are distributed over a period of 35 days.

Not so the female ones, all but one of whom lost their lives during the first day of the war. Poor girls; serving as outlooks, insufficiently trained in the use of the infantry weapons with which they had been issued, unsupported either on the ground or from the air, they were in no position either to escape or to fight off Hamas’ surprise attack…

Shame on you, IDF, for allowing such things to happen. And shame on you, penis-envy driven feminist fiends, for misleading your credulous women followers and pushing them in that direction! The much lower number killed since then suggests that, whatever female soldiers may have been doing from 8 October on, they hardly took part in any serious fighting. Case closed.

Second, the long term harm. It is a truism, observable throughout history and in practically every human field, institution or organization, that wherever women make their entry men leave…

But there is more to it than that. To quote Frederick the Great, a commander who knew a thing or two about fighting spirit, the one thing that can make men march into the muzzles of the cannons trained at them is honor. Specifically, I add, male honor, the kind more or less reserved for men that makes them attractive for women. Conversely, for a man to do a woman’s work is not an honor. It is humiliation.

A man who competes with (or fights against) a woman and loses, loses. A man who competes with (or fights against) a woman and wins also loses; killing a woman may be profitable, but it is rarely considered honorable. Finding themselves in a lose/lose situation, no wonder many men prefer to withdraw. Supposing only the process goes on long enough, the military will end up by being left with hardly any men worthy of the name at all.

Nor does this warning refer to the IDF alone.

  16. France Shoots Down Second Houthi Drone After Missile Hits Norwegian Tanker in Red Sea
Houthi rebels are stepping up their attacks on shipping in a vital sea lane linking the Suez Canal to the Indian Ocean

A French Navy frigate in the Red Sea shot down a second weapon aimed at the stricken Norwegian tanker Strinda on Monday, and prevented the damaged merchant vessel from being hijacked after it was hit by a Houthi rebel cruise missile at a key maritime chokepoint off the coast of Yemen, according to the French Ministry of Defense.

A rebel spokesman accused the Strinda of being “loaded with oil and headed to the Israeli entity,” and said it had failed to heed Houthi calls to halt. The spokesman, General Yahya Sarea, vowed to keep all Israel-linked shipping from passing through the Red Sea until food and medicine are delivered to Gaza.

Knives & the Second Amendment, a Scholarly Analysis

Knife RIghts are Second Amendment Rights
Knife RIghts are Second Amendment Rights

Back in 2013 the first detailed scholarly analysis of knives and the Second Amendment was published in the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform (vol. 47, pages 167-215).

Authored by noted Second Amendment scholars David Kopel, Clayton Cramer, and Joe Olson, the paper makes the case for knives as “arms” protected by the Second Amendment, supporting one of Knife Rights’ foundational tenets.

Knife Rights applauded these scholars for this long-overdue effort. This is a great start on the sort of scholarly work needed to assist in potential legal cases down the road. The arguments made and supported in this article will also support our legislative efforts to roll back knife bans and oppose proposed new restrictions on knives.

In a post at The Volokh Conspiracy, Kopel wrote that the Second Amendment guarantees the right to keep and bear “Arms“-not solely “firearms.” While firearms have always been the paradigmatic Second Amendment arm, there are many other types of arms that are protected by the Second Amendment.
By far, the most common of all other arms are knives.

Under the Supreme Court’s standard in District of Columbia v. Heller, knives are Second Amendment “arms” because they are “typically possessed by law-abiding citizens for lawful purposes,” including self-defense.
There is no knife that is more dangerous than a modern handgun; to the contrary, knives are much less dangerous. Therefore, restrictions on carrying handguns set the upper limit for restrictions on carrying knives.
Prohibitions on carrying knives in general, or of particular knives, are unconstitutional. For example, bans of knives that open in a convenient way (e.g., switchblades, gravity knives, and butterfly knives) are unconstitutional. Likewise unconstitutional are bans on folding knives that, after being opened, have a safety lock to prevent inadvertent closure.

The analysis provides an explanation of various types of knives, criminological evidence regarding knives, and the 19th-century panic and case law about Bowie Knives and Arkansas Toothpicks. Then, it examined the Second Amendment in relation to modern knife laws and covered the utility of knives for personal self-defense and for militia use, as well as the constitutional significance of technological changes in knives since 1791.

Finally, the analysis considers some modern prosecutions, statutes, and cases from Washington, Oregon, Indiana, New York, and D.C. It concludes that even under the weakest relevant standard (intermediate scrutiny), blanket bans on the carrying of knives (or of certain types of knives, or of knives with a blade longer than a particular length) as well as bans on the home possession of some types of knives violate the Second Amendment.

Knives & the Second Amendment is a stellar scholarly analysis of our right to keep and bear knives.

Hunter Biden’s Legal Teams Claims the Second Amendment In Gun Case
Ammoland Inc. Posted on December 12, 2023 by John Crump

Hunter Biden’s legal team is asking a judge to dismiss the gun charges against him by claiming that the Second Amendment protects their client.

Biden was charged with lying on a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Form 4473 while purchasing a gun from a Delaware gun shop. The son of President Joe Biden stated on a Form 4473 that he was not a user of illicit drugs. Around the same time the younger Biden was buying his firearm, he was addicted to crack cocaine. Lying on a 4473 is a felony.
Biden doesn’t claim he is innocent. His attorney claims that the prohibition of gun ownership by drug addicts is inconsistent with the historical tradition of firearms regulations.

“Because persons protected by the Second Amendment can no longer be denied gun ownership due simply to past drug use—a practice inconsistent with this nation’s historical tradition on firearm regulation—any false statement by Mr. Biden concerning his status as having used a controlled substance no longer concerns’ any fact material to the lawfulness of the sale’ of a firearm’ 18 U.S.C. § 922(a)(6),” Biden’s attorneys wrote. “Quite simply, asking about Mr. Biden’s status as a user of a controlled status is constitutionally irrelevant to whether he can be denied his Second Amendment right to gun ownership.”

After the Supreme Court’s opinion in New York Pistol Rifle Associations v. Bruen, the government could no longer use interest balancing to determine the constitutionality of a gun law. The government could only use the original text, tradition, and history of the Second Amendment from the founding era.

“In truth, the statute is indefensible under the Bruen framework, “Biden’s lawyer wrote. “Daniels appropriately recognized that the Framers were well aware of the problems caused by intoxication, but there is no historical precedent for prohibiting gun ownership by persons who had any history of ingesting intoxicating substances. Rather, the problems associated with intoxication were addressed by prohibiting certain conduct while intoxicated.”

President Joe Biden was unhappy with the result of the Bruen decision, but the senior citizen in the White House has not commented on his son’s defense using the ruling that the Biden administration saw as a travesty. The lack of comments makes many ask if there is a double standard in the Biden family.

Biden’s lawyer also cited the United States v. Rahimi case, which was recently argued in front of the Supreme Court. The case deals with a Texas man named Zackey Rahimi, who was caught with a firearm while being the subject of a domestic violence restraining order. The Fifth Circuit of Appeals ruled that the Constitution did not allow Mr. Rahimi to be charged with carrying a gun while under a protective order.

“Given the lack of any historical precedent for disarming citizens based on their status of having used a controlled substance, the fact that Section 922(g)(3) violates the Second Amendment is inevitable under the Bruen framework,” the lawyers wrote. “As the Fifth Circuit explained, prior to Bruen, courts would have addressed the issue of whether any defined class of people could be disarmed by examining whether that class of persons is sufficiently dangerous to justify disarming them. Id. at 353. ‘But Bruen foreswears that kind of review,’ the Fifth Circuit explained, ‘Bruen heads that analysis off at the pass.’ Id. While Congress could criminalize gun possession from someone who was actively intoxicated, or perhaps someone who at least actively had a controlled substance in their body, a prohibition on gun ownership by anyone who had at some time used a controlled substance is constitutionally overbroad under Bruen.”

The Justice Department (DOJ) was unhappy with the appeals court decision. Under pressure from Hunter Biden’s father, President Joe Biden, The DOJ filed for a writ of certiorari. The White House encouraged the Supreme Court to take up the case. The Biden administration strongly disagreed with the Fifth Circuit’s decision, which makes it ironic that the younger Biden’s freedom might rest with the Rahimi case.
While many on the pro-gun side of the gun debate are rooting against Hunter Biden, others see this issue as one that exceeds their dislikes for the Biden clan. They see this as a battle over an unconstitutional question on an unconstitutional form. They believe the Hunter Biden case can also highlight how hypocritical the elites in Washington D.C. are when it comes to their own members.

Whether the case is dismissed will be up to the judge. There is no timeline for the judge to rule.

    • Larry is right, this is the civil rights fight of our time, self defense against the criminals and criminal actions of the government are God given rights, the Second Amendment is to protect those rights as well as the other rights in the Bill of Rights. What most people don’t understand is that if you can change one section of the Constitution by reinterpretation you can change all of the Constitution the same way. Right now the Constitutional Rights that are under attack are:

The right of Self Defense (The Second Amendment)

      Free speech (First Amendment)

      Freedom of association (First Amendment)

      Freedom of Religion (First Amendment)

Right to no Self Incrimination (Fifth Amendment)

Attorney–client privilege or lawyer–client privilege (English Common Law)

      Double Jeopardy ( Fifth Amendment)

      Right to a Speed Trial

      Innocent until proven guilty

All of the above are under attack by the left, they are being attacked because the lefts political enemies can use them to resist the tyranny of the left.

  19. 19 State Attorneys General Urge Biden Regime to Reconsider Proposed Rule that Disqualify Christian Families Who Do Not Affirm LGBTQ Rules from Becoming Foster Parents
    by Jim H?ft Dec. 12, 2023 1:20 pm27 Comments

Attorneys General from 19 states have penned a joint letter opposing a recent rule proposed by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) impacting foster care placements.

The contentious rule, officially titled “Safe and Appropriate Foster Care Placement Requirements for Titles IV-E and IV-B,” was published in the Federal Register on September 28, 2023, under the citation 88 Fed. Reg. 66752.

This proposed regulation aims to establish guidelines for foster care placements, with a specific focus on respecting and affirming the self-identified gender identities of children in the foster care system. Among its stipulations, the rule mandates that foster parents acknowledge and use a child’s chosen name and pronouns and permit them to dress in a manner consistent with their gender identity.

According to the American Family Association (AFA), a non-profit organization, “Those who do not “affirm” the LGBTQ rules because of their Christian faith will be deemed “unsafe” by the Biden administration and ultimately rejected as foster parent candidates.”

  20. SPERRY: Who is Sara Biden? Joe’s In-Law Emerges as Central Figure in Foreign Cash Deals
    by Cristina Laila Dec. 12, 2023 12:40 pm101 Comments

Trouble has followed Sara Catherine Jones since she married into the Biden family almost three decades ago.

Not long after her 1995 wedding to Jim Biden, she took a job with one of his brother Joe’s Senate donors, who later accused her of “fraud” and “unjust enrichment,” according to court records reviewed by RealClearInvestigations. In the years since, she and her husband have been accused of reneging on debts and failing to pay their taxes, court and property records show. Like their nephew, first son Hunter Biden, they have reportedly sold the promise of access to their powerful relative to companies, several of which have gone bankrupt, some of which are tied to foreign countries hostile to the United States.

Now, Sara Jones Biden has emerged as a key figure in the mushrooming Biden foreign influence-peddling scandal.

GOP lawmakers seek to question the 64-year-old licensed attorney as part of their investigation of President Biden for possible impeachable offenses, including bribery. They are especially interested in subpoenaed bank records that include almost a quarter million dollars in checks Sara Biden wrote to her brother-in-law Joe, conspicuously marking them as “loan repayment.” Republicans want to ask her about the origin of those loans and whether checks “were funded by Biden influence-peddling schemes with China.”

“The Committees require you to provide details of these payments and other related matters,” the chairmen of the House Oversight and Judiciary committees said in a joint letter they sent to her last month demanding she make herself available for a transcribed interview. In addition, they sent a subpoena to her husband for testimony and information.

Although Hunter and Jim Biden’s questionable business dealings – and their possible blessing from the president – are drawing increasing scrutiny, Sara Biden has drawn little attention until now. But court records and other documents show she has been a central player in the Biden family business for decades. They show how her and her husband’s desire for a lifestyle they could not quite afford has repeatedly led them to form relationships with shady figures and enterprises that often ended in lawsuits and even criminal investigations.

Looming over it all is Joe Biden. Documents recently obtained by government watchdog America First Legal, under a Freedom of Information Act request, reveal that Sara and Jim’s main business, the Lion Hall Group, shows up in more than 3,735 emails generated by the former Vice President Biden’s office. The sheer volume of communications concerning his brother and sister-in-law’s business appears to contradict Biden’s repeated claims over the years that he was never involved in, or even aware of, his family’s business dealings.

  21. Report: Bill Clinton Criticized Hillary’s 2016 Presidential Campaign: “Could Not Sell P***y on a Troop Train”
    by Kristinn Taylor Dec. 12, 2023 12:20 pm454 Comments

Former President Bill Clinton reportedly criticized wife Hillary’s failed presidential campaign against Donald Trump in the fall of 2016 as not being able to “sell p*ssy to a troop train” according to a Fox News report on a new book by Intercept reporter Ryan Grim.

The decades long Clinton marriage has been rocked by Bill’s numerous affairs and allegations of rape and sexual assault. Hillary was accused by several of Bill’s alleged victims of intimidating them and covering up for Bill.

Bill Clinton was impeached by the House in late 1998 for perjury and obstruction of justice in a sexual assault lawsuit by Paula Jones that uncovered an affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. Clinton was acquitted by the Senate in early 1999 after a pro forma trial.
