This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    Today, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit will consider President Trump’s request to remove his gag order in DOJ thug Jack Smith’s bogus election interference case.

    In August, Trump was hit with four counts in Jack Smith’s January 6 case up in DC: Conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempting to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.

    Presiding over the criminal case is Obama-appointed U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan. Chutkan worked at the same law office as Hunter Biden and donated over $3,000 to Barack Obama from 2008-2012.

    Legal teams for special counsel Jack Smith and former President Donald Trump are set to face off in a high-stakes appeals court hearing on Monday over a federal judge’s ruling limiting certain aspects of Trump’s speech in relation to this case, ahead of his criminal trial in Washington, D.C.

    Trump asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit to overturn or pause District Judge Tanya Chutkan’s October limited gag order — which is currently not in effect — that would bar him from publicly targeting individual prosecutors, court staff, or potential witnesses tied to the 2020 election-related federal prosecution. The special counsel had urged Chutkan to impose even broader restrictions on the former president’s pretrial speech, alleging his public comments threatened the proper administration of the judicial process and might inspire violence from supporters.

    Her order did not go as far as prosecutors had requested, but Chutkan said she was treating the former president like any other defendant by preventing him from publicly speaking out against those who might testify against him at trial.

  10. Backdoor Gun Grab: Congressional Dems Push Background Checks on Ammo Purchases, Seek to Criminalize Middlemen Buyers

    Democratic members of Congress have introduced a bill that would impose restrictions on bulk ammunition sales, licensing requirements on ammunition vendors, and background checks for ammunition buyers.

    Democratic U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, and Democratic U.S. Representatives Robert Garcia of California and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz of Florida introduced the bill on Nov. 2, according to news releases from Warren and Garcia’s offices.

    Under the Ammunition Modernization and Monitoring Oversight Act, businesses selling ammunition must possess the same federal licenses gun dealers are required to obtain, according to the bill’s sponsors.

    Furthermore, ammunition vendors must conduct background checks on purchases under the bill.

    According to the bill’s sponsors, the legislation helps compensate for the lack of regulation on ammunition sales.

    Currently, the bill’s sponsors say that ammunition vendors face no requirements to have licenses before selling ammunition to buyers, restrictions on quantity sold, and mandatory record-keeping and data-sharing requirements.

    “We have a moral responsibility to treat gun violence in this country like the crisis it is,” Warren said, according to the news release from her office.

    “The Ammunition Modernization and Monitoring Oversight (AMMO) Act is a common-sense step to restrict ammunition sales, strengthen federal oversight of those sales, and help end the epidemic of gun violence in America,” the senator said.

    The policy proposed by the legislation already exists in the state of California, according to Breitbart News.

    The AMMO Act would take what is current policy in California and make it a federal policy.

    In California, ammunition can only be purchased from state-approved vendors, and background checks are required for ammunition purchases, Breitbart reported.

    Out-of-state ammunition purchases are also prohibited in the state, according to the outlet.

    “The bottom line is no individual should be buying bulk amounts of ammunition without a federal background check from places like gas stations, pharmacies, and convenience stores – especially without any sort of regulation and no record of the sale,” Garcia said.

  11. Watching Ukraine burn through ammo fighting Russia has the US Army rethinking how much it really needs for when war breaks out

    Both sides of the war in Ukraine have burned through a lot of ammo, straining stockpiles globally.

    The war appears to have prompted the US Army to rethink how much it’s producing and stockpiling.

    A US official told Business Insider the Army was ramping up production and modernizing its process.

    With both sides of the war in Ukraine burning through ammo at astonishing rates, the US Army says it’s rethinking what it needs for a potential large-scale future fight.

    But with production, particularly of 155mm artillery shells, ramping up, the Army appears also to be looking at how to modernize its ongoing manufacturing and stockpiles — both to continue supporting allies such as Ukraine and Israel and to have enough ammo should the US find itself in a high-intensity conflict of its own, especially against a major military power.

    “The Army is looking very closely at the war in Ukraine and how munitions are used to inform our decisions regarding munitions requirements,” Douglas R. Bush, the assistant secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics, and technology, explained to Business Insider. “Recognizing the use of large quantities of artillery on both sides of the conflict, the Army is investing to better prepare for potential conflict and to support Ukraine as they continue to fight for their freedom.”

    Part of those efforts are ambitious short-term goals, such as upping 155mm production from just shy of 30,000 shells a month right now to a massive 100,000 shells a month by the end of 2025. But another larger, more long-term effort appears to be securing a stronger supply chain and more constant manufacturing of munitions both domestically and with the support of US partners.

    “The Army began making investments over a year ago in our organic and commercial industrial base to accelerate production and improve capacity for 155mm and other munitions in order to meet demands for Ukraine, allied partners, and US stockpile requirements,” Bush said.

    Looking at the timeline, those investments appear to have come after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine and after both sides began expending tremendous amounts of ammunition attempting to batter the opposing army, launching enough artillery shells to severely strain stockpiles worldwide and even push partners to send over controversial weapons such as cluster munitions to slow the ammo consumption.

  12. A Well-Outfitted Militia: German Translation of the Second Amendment Offers Insight

    There’s a perennial debate in gun politics in the United States. The gun control side makes various specious arguments claiming that the Second Amendment protects muskets and not modern arms, that the right to keep and bear arms belongs to a select militia like the National Guard, not We the People, and that “well-regulated” authorizes the de facto destruction of our rights via regulation.

    Those of us who have studied the copious scholarly research on the text and history of the Second Amendment know that those arguments are bunk. We know that the right to keep and bear arms is not dependent on militia service. We know that the right extends to modern arms, much like the First Amendment is applicable to modern forms of communication. We know that “well-regulated” means in proper working order, not choking off that right while pretending to nurture it.

    To further support the originalist interpretation of the Second Amendment, there’s insight offered from an uncommon source: the re-translation into English of founding era documents originally translated into German. The following is the abstract from an academic paper published in the American Journal of Legal History:

    A Well-Outfitted Militia: German–American Translations of the Second Amendment and Original Public Meaning
    By Brandon Kinney

    This article seeks to uncover the original public meaning of the Second Amendment by scrutinizing unusual and previously unexamined sources: German–American translations of the Bill of Rights during the Founding Era. Translations offer a unique perspective of political culture, because they served as thoughtful analysis and contextual commentary on the source text. Using six German–American translations in the Founding Era, this article argues that the public understanding of the Second Amendment during the Founding Era was one that recognized the individual right to own firearms for individual use unconnected to militia service as well as a constitutional endorsement of an armed population as the best bulwark to preserve the liberty of the national people. Though the exact text of the translations differ across publishers and states, they retain thematic and syntactic similarities that suggest a public consensus over the meaning of the text. The notion that the Second Amendment protects an individual right rather than a collective one is borne out by additional translations well into the mid-nineteenth century. Printers adjusted their translations of the amendment after the militia as a military institution had fallen into disuse but preserved or strengthened the clause protecting the individual right to arms rather than letting it ‘fall silent’.

    A comparison of the translations reveals three striking similarities. First, each utilizes the word Volk for ‘People’, which by the Enlightenment had come to imply nationalist or political categories in secular documents. Second, each introduces a conjunction to the beginning of each clause, which taken together push the rhetorical emphasis to the second clause (the Rights Clause). Third, the majority of the texts translate ‘well regulated’ as wohl or gut eingerichtete, meaning that the militia is well-furnished, well-outfitted, or well-equipped rather than being subjected to government oversight (or disciplined, in the contemporaneous nomenclature). Given the numerous alternatives to translating the English text, the fact that these translations independently embraced these major elements suggests a consensus understanding of the amendment’s context and meaning.

    The paper states the following:

    After analyzing these interpretive similarities, this research makes the following contentions: the original public meaning of the Second Amendment indicated an understanding of both an individual right to keep and bear arms as well as a declarative statement on the militia that had no limiting effect on the individual right. Put another way, the first clause (the Militia Clause) does not create a condition for the second clause. Instead, it declares an axiom as understood by the framers: a well-established and well-outfitted militia (broadly defined as the entirety of the national populace) is necessary to securing a free nation. To support this dictum, the amendment subsequently recognizes the individual right to keep and bear private arms, because the militia is made possible by private arms rather than the other way around. With the publication of the Bill of Rights, the Constitution endorsed an armed citizenry as the best possible defense of a nation’s liberties rather than making the individual ownership contingent on the continued use of a militia.

    Gun controllers like to repeat this quote from former Supreme Court Justice Warren Burger in support of their cute, creative collective rights theory:

    “The gun lobby’s interpretation of the Second Amendment is one of the greatest pieces of fraud, I repeat the word fraud, on the American people by special interest groups that I have ever seen in my lifetime.”

    Burger’s claim is nothing but an argument by assertion. Repeating it doesn’t make it right.

    Brandon Kinney’s paper is very insightful and supports the voluminous existing evidence of the standard individual rights interpretation. Its unique perspective will help further the intellectual defense of our right to keep and bear arms. Hats off to Mr. Kinney for his work.

    President Joe Biden told a six-year-old girl “I love your ears” during a Thanksgiving celebration at a naval base in Norfolk, Virginia, on Sunday.

    The octogenarian approached the child, named Catherine, and gushed her ears were “really cool” at the public event, apparently drawn by what appeared to be her Mickey Mouse headwear.

    He bent down and almost touched the youngster as he hovered near her during the ‘”Friendsgiving’” ahead of the holiday later this week.

  16. NYPD to have only 29K cops by 2025 due to new NYC budget cuts

    The NYPD’s force will be reduced to just 29,000 cops by the end of fiscal year 2025 — the lowest level since the mid-90s — amid a slew of city-wide budget cuts revealed by Mayor Eric Adams Thursday as the Big Apple grapples with its multi-billion-dollar migrant crisis.

    Under City Hall’s newly unveiled updated 2024 financial plan, the next five police academy classes will be axed — essentially decimating an already strained department as roughly 4,500 officers are expected to leave their ranks within the next 18 months.

    Firefighters are also in the firing line with FDNY members who are on “long-term light duties” — meaning they’ve been injured on the job or are out sick — being forced into early retirement or fired under the plan.

    “The defund the police crowd’s woke dream has come true. We were fed a line of BS that the wave of migrants would be a benefit to the city. Now we are defunding the police to pay for their beds,” Council Republican Minority Leader, Joe Borelli, raged.

  17. Navy SEAL Causing Anti-Trans School Board Chaos Is Under Investigation

    A Navy SEAL showed up to a Southern California school board meeting on Tuesday and warned that if administrators didn’t curtail “radical gender ideology,” parents like him would defund the education system.

    But Bryce Henson didn’t use his real name, instead introducing himself as Ben Richards, the founder of SoCal Parent Advocates. The pseudonym comes from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character in The Running Man—a moniker he often uses on his rabble-rousing circuit across the state at right-wing rallies and government meetings. On this particular evening, Henson made a stop at the Escondido Union High School District.

    “Our mission is to expose, challenge and resist radical gender ideology, critical race theory, vaccine and mask tyranny in SoCal schools,” Henson, a father of two elementary-schoolers and former Marine, announced. “I’m not anti-LGB. I’m not anti-trans.”

    The trans flag, he continued, “doesn’t mean loving who you just want to love, I wish it did. It means desecrating our venerated religious symbols, turning the cross into a stripper pole!” Some in the audience laughed at him but he was undeterred.

    “What we need is legal resolutions to bring down the temperature,” he said.

    For someone facing a military investigation over alleged ties to extremist groups like the Proud Boys, Henson himself hasn’t shown signs of cooling down.

    These remarks arrived days after KPBS, a PBS station in San Diego, revealed the military was looking into whether he violated its rules against participating in extremist activity.

    In a statement released to The Daily Beast and other outlets, a Naval Special Warfare spokesperson said, “We are investigating allegations of a Naval Special Warfare service member possibly participating with, or supporting, extremist causes.”

    “While Sailors are always allowed to exercise their rights to freedom of speech and assembly if they follow the law and policy restriction, participation with hate or extremist groups of any kind is contradictory to the core values of the Navy and is not tolerated by NSW,” they added.

    “As a matter of policy, we will not release specific details about the ongoing investigation. We ask for the public’s patience and understanding as we proceed with this investigation. Our priority is to ensure a fair and just process for all parties involved.”

    Reached by The Daily Beast on Friday, Henson said he couldn’t comment. “I wish I could,” Henson said in a text. (In an Instagram message, he added, “I wish I could speak more I don’t mind speaking to our friends in the press its just not a good idea rn.”)

    Instead, Henson shared a statement from SoCal Parent Advocates that referred to him by his fake name.

    “Nobody talks like this. This is a military guy, for sure.”

    “On the eve of our beloved Marine Corps Birthday and Veterans Day,” the statement begins, “KPBS published” an article with the help of a “violent Antifa member” who was “using doctored photographs” to target “Ben Richards.” (That accused “Antifa member” is a local watchdog of far-right activities in California, Kelly Stuart, who denies being in the anti-fascist political movement or altering any photos. “I deny being Antifa. I am an aunt,” she told us.)

    “Concerned parents worried about their family’s safety and desiring transparency regarding their young children are frequently singled out and targeted by individuals associated with the Teachers Union, and connected with Antifa,” the statement claimed.

    It concludes: “Currently involved in an ongoing investigation, Ben is unavailable for comments. Nonetheless, he is confident that the investigation will vindicate him of any wrongdoing, demonstrating that he has only been a dedicated and responsible father, and, a hero for knowingly assuming risk to help parents under attack.”

    According to biographical information provided by the military, Henson enlisted in the Navy in May 2010 and has several awards and decorations including an Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Good Conduct Medal.

    In 2015, Henson had been assigned to SEAL Team 6, or the Naval Special Warfare Development Group in Virginia, KPBS reported. He returned to the West Coast the following year. As of April of this year, his duty station is listed as the Naval Special Warfare Center in Coronado, California.

    Henson spent the summer rallying behind the controversial parental notification policies passed by several California school boards—including the Chino Valley Unified School District—which out trans students to their parents or guardians.

    During a tense July board meeting in Chino, Henson accused the teacher’s union of providing “rainbow badges” that communicate: “You’re safe with me because you aren’t safe with your parents. We can talk sex and you don’t have to tell them.” He claimed the pride flag stood for drag shows with “grown men dressed like strippers,” and that parents must take a stand.

    “We’re at the precipice of a great conflict. It requires courage, it requires tenacity, and it requires drive,” he barked into the mic. “We’re not going to stop.”

    In October, the Los Angeles Times highlighted Henson in an article headlined: “How conservatives are waging a coordinated, anti-LGBTQ+ culture war in California schools.”

    The Times described Henson as a 37-year-old military vet who began traveling to other school districts because he couldn’t gain ground in San Diego County, where he lives. When the outlet asked why he used the alias “Ben Richards,” he said what was once for his own protection was now an ideological message.

    Transgender people, he said, shouldn’t challenge his choice to “identify” as a fictional protagonist if they prefer that he “respect their crazy identity.” “I identify as a male lion, whose pronouns [are] Lion Daddy,” Henson told the Times, “and if they don’t call me that, they’re bigots.”

    Stuart, a photojournalist and playwright documenting the far-right movement in Southern California, has chronicled Henson’s appearances at events such as the Babies Lives Matter protest in Santa Monica in July 2022 and an anti-trans rally in Santee in January of this year. In some photos, Henson was captured standing near a Proud Boys member and activist present at the Jan. 6 insurrection.

    She also photographed Henson—wearing a “Dad Army” shirt and portable microphone and amplifier—this summer at a protest outside of a Glendale school board meeting that ended in violence as Jan. 6 rioters and Proud Boys clashed with LGBTQ activists.

    “The first encounter I had with him was pretty hostile,” Stuart told The Daily Beast. “But later, we kind of had a joking relationship. Like we would just give each other shit, but we would laugh. … However, I thought he was a person who could do a lot of harm, because he’s extremely transphobic, even though he says ‘I’m not against the LGB,’ which is one of the quotes that he always says. He leaves out the T.”

    As Military.com reported, Stuart snapped photos of the men around Henson—some wearing the Proud Boys’ signature black and yellow colors. One of the men donned a “stand back and stand by” hoodie, referencing former President Donald Trump’s refusal to condemn far-right extremists during a debate with Joe Biden, while another had several Nazi tattoos.

    Stuart belongs to a band of researchers that examines school board issues and extremism, and after hearing complaints about Henson’s aggressive tactics at public meetings, they began to dig into who “Ben Richards” actually was.

    One of those researchers, who asked not to be identified for her own safety, told The Daily Beast that Henson seems to have discovered a tribe of people that respect him and even defend his behavior. “He’s a good radicalizer,” she said. “He’s good at getting people to hate him, too.”

    The woman, who is a lesbian and advocates for the LGBTQ community, said Henson’s actions have unified educators and California residents who’ve been in his crosshairs.

    When she began researching the SoCal Parent Advocates Facebook page, it led her to an account using the name of another Schwarzenegger character: Douglas Quaid from Total Recall. Her group then found a Reddit user who also appears to be Henson—AlanDSchaefer, seemingly a reference to Schwarzenegger’s character in Predator. “He’s not using one alias but multiple aliases,” she said.

    In the Reddit comments, the user who appears to be Henson comments on a video of Henson’s remarks at a San Diego school board meeting. “Of course I don’t agree with the pedo club,” the account wrote, “the strategy here was to come off as so fkn reasonable that another refusal (been dealing with it for months) would seem so absolutely unreasonable so that I can use this to galvanize voters down here in SD.”

    “Help me out! I have plenty more videos of me brow besting [sic] officials so by all means share what you are doing in your district. I have been trying to receive help here nobody is helping me,” he added. “But we are organizing here boots on the ground so if you are interested in helping let me know cause Im not going to fucking stop.”

    In a Reddit post linking to a news story about a neo-Nazi group in Colorado, the account responded to a comment stating, “Black Lives Matter is seen as a racial hate group BY racial hate groups.”

    “Within the past year: how many black people have died, and how many small businesses were destroyed in blm protests and riots?” AlanDSchaefer wrote. “How many by black people died and how many small businesses destroyed during neo nazi riots?”

    The researcher said that she believes Henson has a right to freedom of speech but is disturbed by his “reducing the queer community to children’s drag shows.”

    “I think that he’s blending people’s conception of reality on what extremism is and making radical hate speech seem more like a mainstream opinion, and a valid one, and one that’s OK for active service military, for Navy SEALS to have,” she added.

    In Santee, Henson was among protesters outside the local YMCA to rage against rules allowing transgender people to use the locker rooms that correspond to their gender identity. The demonstrations stemmed from a 17-year-old girl’s complaint at a city council meeting that she briefly saw a transgender woman in the facility and was afraid.

    The situation quickly caught the attention of conservative news media and local activists. At a Jan. 21 protest outside the YMCA, Henson spoke at a podium draped in a Christian flag and indicated he was involved with conservative youth group Turning Point USA (TPUSA).

    He informed the crowd that he had a contact with TPUSA who could help anyone wishing to push their school boards to the right. “We’re making headway on the schools that we flipped,” he said to applause, claiming he turned four area school boards conservative.

    “They can help you and provide top cover,” Henson continued. “We need to get these counter-narrative groups in.”

    Stuart filmed his speech and thought, “This language is unusual … Nobody talks like this. This is a military guy, for sure.”

    Eventually, Stuart said, someone happened upon what could be Henson’s first school board meeting commentary, where he used his real name.

    In May of last year, Henson stood at the podium at the San Diego Unified School District Board of Education and identified himself as a veteran, tee-ball coach, and father of two young kids.

    “This is my first time,” he said. “I’ve never done anything like this before.” He then said he’d like to be notified if his kids attend any club or extracurricular activity—but especially a “student lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, queer, questioning, intersex, ally, asexual, pansexual club.”

  18. Shipping Rival China Builds Half Greece’s Fleet, Runs Piraeus Port

    ATHENS – While China is rapidly closing the gap with Greece’s shipping oligarchs to be the world’s most dominant fleet – half of the total Greek vessels are built in China and the Chinese management firm controls the port of Piraeus.

    In most categories, Greek ships still rule the world’s waves but the Chinese are gaining, their management firm COSCO with a majority stake in Piraeus and elevating the port into one of the European Union’s most prominent.

    The U.S. development finance agency, the Development Finance Corporation signed a $125 million loan deal to modernize the Elefsina Shipyard outside Athens but no word whether the Greek shipowners will order vessels there.

    COSCO is one of the largest shipping enterprises in the world and owns more than 1,300 ships with a combined shipping capacity of 111 million deadweight tons, ranking first in the world, noted China’s state-run Xinhua news agency.

    The company’s global shipping routes cover more than 1,500 ports in 160 countries and regions, with an annual cargo volume of 1.3 billion tons and is showing signs of catching the Greek owners.

    “We have made the port of Piraeus a leading container port in Europe. With joint efforts of the COSCO Shipping management team, the company has made a significant contribution to the local economy, culture, society and finance of Greece,” COSCO Executive Chairman Yu Zenggang told the news agency.

    Did the former lead counsel in President Trump’s first sham impeachment call for his assassination yesterday?

    Former Barack Obama press secretary Jen Psaki was hosting Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) on her MSNBC show, “Inside with Jen Psaki,” Sunday to discuss the recently released January 6 tapes when he made some disturbing remarks which are now going viral on social media.

    During their interview, Psaki played a tape of a conversation Trump had with ABC’s Jonathan Karl about the J6 protests. The 45th president tells Karl he wishes he could have gone to the Capitol to “stop the problem” and says he would have been “very well-received” had he been allowed to do so.

    She then asked Goldman whether he felt “as a prosecutor, this is something that could be useful in the case (Jack Smith’s J6 garbage inquisition) against Trump.”

    Goldman said yes and went on to blame Trump for “riling up” and “inciting” his supporters. He also states that “every time he (Trump) talks, he’s putting himself into a bigger criminal hole” and “his objective is purely political.”

    The New York leftist then calls for drastic action to stop Trump from being elected, declaring “he has to be eliminated.”

    His rhetoric is really getting dangerous, more and more dangerous… and we saw what happened on January 6th when he uses inflammatory rhetoric. That man cannot see public office again.

    He is not only unfit, he is destructive to our democracy. He has to be eliminated.

  22. Federal Appeals Court Panel Blasts Judge Chutkan, Signals it will Narrow Trump’s Unconstitutional Gag Order

    A federal appeals court on Monday signaled it would partially grant President Trump’s request to remove his gag order in Jack Smith’s bogus election interference case.

    Trump’s lawyers have been fighting Chutkan’s gag order since she first imposed it last month.

    Earlier this month President Trump filed an appeal brief on Judge Tanya Chutkan’s gag order. Trump argued Chutkan’s gag order is broad, vague and violates his First Amendment rights.

    On October 20, Judge Chutkan agreed to temporarily pause her own gag order in the DOJ’s January 6 case while Trump and Jack Smith submit appeal briefs.

    According to Chutkan’s gag order, Trump cannot criticize Special Counsel Jack Smith or any of his prosecutors – even if Trump is telling the truth!

    The gag order prevented Trump from criticizing Jack Smith or any of his prosecutors or staffers, any of the Court’s staff or supporting personnel or any ‘witnesses.’

    Jack Smith can leak and lie about Trump – and threaten witnesses – but Trump cannot defend himself otherwise he will be violating Chutkan’s unconstitutional gag order.

    The three-judge DC Circuit Court of Appeals panel (2 Obama appointees and 1 Biden appointee) blasted Judge Chutkan’s gag order as they considered striking down or narrowing the order during Monday’s oral arguments.

    One judge said the gag order is unfair to Trump because his prosecution could easily be used to attack him during presidential debates.

    “He has to speak ‘Miss Manners’ while everyone else is throwing targets at him?” Judge Patricia Millett, an Obama appointee said, according to Politico. “It would be really hard in a debate, when everyone else is going at you full bore. Your attorneys would have to have scripted little things you can say.”

    “It’s not how I want my children to speak,” Millett said, “but that’s really not the question.”

    “We certainly want to make sure that the criminal trial process and its integrity and its truth-finding function are protected, but we ought to use a careful scalpel here and not step into really sort of skewing the political arena,” Judge Patricia Millett added.

    Another Obama-appointed judge said the gag order is too broad when it banned Trump from speaking about ‘witnesses’ like Bill Barr and Mike Pence.

    “I would assume that their testimony would not be affected,” Judge Nina Pillard, an Obama appointee said of Barr and Pence.

    It is unclear when the appeals court will make a decision on the gag order.

    Hamas now threatening more atrocities … in West Bank

    Hamas terrorists who massacred some 1,400 Israeli citizens during a war-like attack on peaceful communities and a music festival in October now are agitating for more such violence.

    The war the terrorists launched against Israel that day is continuing, with Israeli troops marching into Gaza, Hamas’ home, and rooting out members of the terror organization, their supplies and their defenses.

    But at the same time, there’s been the threat of another attack such as the one on Oct. 7, with its atrocities including babies beheaded and entire families burned alive.

    Now the threat is coming from the West Bank.

    A report from the Middle East Media Research Institute reveals that Hamas leaders are continuing to “threaten a repeat of the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel.”

    And they are inciting people of the West Bank to attack Israelis and be part of the terrorism.

    “Telegram channels identified with Hamas’ student organization, the Islamic Bloc, and especially with its branches in the West Bank, are especially active in spreading threats and incitement of this kind,” the report explained.

    “In a November 16 post on its Telegram channel, for example, the Islamic Bloc urged the people of the West Bank to emulate the October 7 attack by storming Israeli localities within their reach. Other posts on this channel likewise incite terrorism and provide operational advice on carrying out effective attacks.”

    The Islamic Bloc, a student organization for Hamas, posted a call for more violence and a graphic “showing masked terrorists breaching a fence and raiding an Israeli locality, with the text: ‘The settlements are our targets. Let us storm them, [operating] singly or in groups, and let them taste the might of our resistance. #To the settlements.’”

    “It should be stressed that, in Hamas’ parlance, all Israeli localities are termed ‘settlements,’ both the ones in the West Bank and those inside Israel,” MEMRI explained.

    Two days later, another graphic threatened, “Ambushes of death await you.”

    And yet another, posted just this week, showed armed terrorists preparing to attack a Israeli locality, and threatened, “You have no security. Most of our resistance fighters are lying in wait for you. The [West] Bank is not a playground for the settlers.”

    MEMRI explained, too, that Hamas’ student groups in the West Bank are offering advice for terrorism.

    “On November 18, for example, its Telegram channels posted a video titled ‘How to carry out a high-quality attack causing maximum casualties in the ranks of the occupation.’ The video presents the various stages of preparing and carrying out the attack: ‘research and planning,’ ‘learning the features of the [target] location,’ ‘surveilling the target of the attack,’ ‘obtaining the necessary weapons and keeping them safe,’ ‘securing the target location in an inhabited area,’ ‘maintaining absolute secrecy,’ ‘avoiding the use of digital devices,’ ‘maintaining your routine activities in your [everyday] surroundings,’ ‘planning a suitable escape route,’ ‘choosing the timing, based on the goals of the operation.’”

    The MEMRI investigation revealed that, “On November 18, Hamas in the West Bank posted on its Telegram channel a statement by movement official ‘Abd Al-Rahman Shadid, saying: ‘The people of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, and the people the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 [i.e., Israeli Arabs] must mobilize, confront the crimes of the occupation and resist by every means. If victory could be attained just by uttering [the phrase] ‘Sufficient for us is Allah , and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs’ [Quran 3:173], Allah wouldn’t have commanded us to prepare [for battle] and to fight…’”

    The Gateway Pundit previously reported on liberal media networks hiring sordid individuals with ties to the Islamist terror group Hamas. This time, Israel is taking action against these sick people.

    The Jerusalem Post reported Saturday that 45-year-old NBC “journalist” Marwat Al-Azza was arrested on severe criminal offenses including inciting terrorism. She also hailed the Hamas massacre of innocent Israelis.

    Authorities discovered four recent posts on her personal Facebook page regarding the October 7 terror attack by Hamas from the Gaza Strip, in which at least 1,200 people were murdered and 240 taken hostage.

    The specific contents of these posts have not been released by police at this point.

    Police said Al-Azza arrived, “arrived ready for arrest” and confessed to her crimes. A police representative called the offenses, “very serious.”

    These are very serious offenses during a time of declared war when the respondent lives and makes a living in the same country that is under attack and yet chooses to incite and glorify the horrible acts committed against civilians.

    Al-Azza’s attorney praised her “cooperation” and claimed her role in journalism is, “very important to everyone.”

    A Royal Navy nuclear submarine equipped with Trident missiles suffered a huge malfunction that sent it into an endless dive before the vessel was righted moments before the crew faced being crushed by underwater pressure, it was claimed today.

    The Vanguard class sub had been carrying 140 crew when its depth gauge suddenly failed while on a mission in the Atlantic.

    It caused a frantic scrabble with engineers managing to stop the submarine and its nuclear reactor from plunging further just moments before disaster struck.
