Turpel-Laford removed from Order of Canada after Indigenous identity discredited

OTTAWA — Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond, a high-profile former judge whose claims to Indigenous identity have been discredited, is no longer a member of the Order of Canada.

A notice in Saturday’s Canada Gazette, the federal government’s official newspaper, said her appointment was terminated on Sept. 26 following her own request and the Governor General’s subsequent approval. She had been appointed in 2021.

A social media post by the Indigenous Women’s Collective, which had called for her removal, thanks the Governor General for “correcting a wrong.”

Tracey Robinson, a member of the collective and a Treaty First Nations woman from Saskatchewan, said Turpel-Lafond’s removal sends a message that tangible consequences await those who engage in Indigenous identity theft.

So what we can learn is, both the Order of Canada and being a judge have nothing to do with merit but race. Ok then. Good to know. And Buffy St. Marie had lots more wrong with her character than just faking Amer-Indian ancestry. I hope now that she is no longer in the protected zone, things start to come out.

4. Another MSN narrative. A BC nurse is apparently facing a hearing at the BC COllege of Nurses and Physicians because she called the metaphysical nonsense of the trans-movement, metaphysical nonsense. 

AB.C. nurse accused of making numerous “derogatory and discriminatory” public statements about transgender people took the stand in her discipline hearing on Friday, telling the panel considering her case that she is not transphobic.

During a hearing at the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives, Amy Hamm of New Westminster testified that her advocacy on social and other platforms is meant to protect women and children from what she described as dangerous infringements into sex-segregated spaces.

“I’m not transphobic. I don’t have any issue with trans people — it’s the infringement on women and children’s rights,” Hamm told the college disciplinary panel.

She said she is fighting against what she described as a “fringe” movement of activists influencing official positions on transgender rights and access to gender-affirming care.

“It’s a movement that is infringing on the rights of women and pushing institutions to adopt what are false and delusional beliefs,” she said.

Hamm faces allegations of unprofessional conduct for making “discriminatory and derogatory statements regarding transgender people” while identifying herself as a nurse, according to a citation from the college.

The purpose of the hearing is to inquire into your conduct as follows: 1. Between approximately July 2018 and March 2021, you made discriminatory and derogatory statements regarding transgender people, while identifying yourself as a nurse or nurse educator. These statements were made across various online platforms, including but not limited to, podcasts, videos, published writings and social media. This conduct is contrary to one or more of the following Professional Standards: the Responsibility and Accountability Professional Standard, the Client–Focused Provision of Service Professional Standard and the Ethical Practice Professional Standard. This conduct also constitutes unprofessional conduct, or breach of the Act or bylaws, under s.39 (1) of the Act. The Discipline Committee is constituted under the Act and BCCNM’s bylaws. You are referred to sections 37 to 40 of the Act, and sections 196 to 213 and Schedules I and J of the bylaws.

4. Nov 3. 2023: Syrian Migrant Knifeman Admits He Killed for the Islamic State

A suspected sympathiser of the Islamic State who murdered a 35-year-old man on the streets of the German city of Duisburg earlier this year has admitted he carried out the deadly knife attack on orders from the terrorist group to kill its enemies. 

The Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court heard from the 27-year-old Syrian this week on Thursday, November 2nd, as he admitted that he carried out the attack which left one dead and four others wounded on behalf of the Islamic State, the newspaper Die Welt reports. 

The Syrian explained his motivations saying it was 

because of the demands and orders of the Islamic State, which called for killing its enemies. And to take revenge for millions of Muslims killed. I wanted to kill as many people as possible.

The attack took place back on April 9th and began on the street where he killed a 35-year-old man and then fled home after hearing the sirens of police. 

He later continued his rampage at a local gym in Duisburg, with the Syrian stabbing four more men, none of whom he knew personally, claiming to have left any women he saw alone. 

(Lucky for us infidels, he felt weak from Ramadan fasting and was unable to go back and kill some more of us at a second gym on the 9th)

The killer stated that he wanted to attack another gym but did not have the energy due to fasting during Ramadan and also decided not to wait for police, who he was also planning on attacking.

“I wanted to commit more deeds so that I would die as a martyr if I was killed in the process,” he said and added, “I wanted to take them on, but they came while I was sleeping and sent a police dog.”

5. Dear Europeans: Many of you are anti Israel, or accept narratives that justify the destruction of that nation by Muslims. In our recent interview with Robert Spencer, he explained in very clear language exactly what the actual motives are for Islamic conquest. The main thing to know, at least in this case, is that Muslims are taught that any land once ruled by Muslims under the sharia, is perpetually legally Islamic land and anyone else on it is a criminal. So I would advise learning a little European history. A LOT of Europe was conquered by Muslims for some period of time, and they will take it back if you do not take active measures to stop it. It is already happening. There is a GIANT mosque on the very battlefield in France where Charles the Hammer Martel fought back invading Muslim armies I think in the 10th century. The placement of that mosque is no accident. But most famously, a LARGE part of Spain was under the most brutal Islamic rule for something like six centuries. Bin Laden himself made videos demanding it be reconquered for Islam, although that video has predictably disappeared from the Internet since it is easier to do the conquest if no one knows that is why there is so much Islamic illegal invasion to Spain the past 10 years or so.
