Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  2. 1 hr. 16 min Dr. Campbell interviews a senior doctor. Particularly interesting. He focuses on cancer and vitamin D(3). Sorry if it’s already posted here.

    If you get sick with C19 and your Vit-D blood level is less than 30 you have something like a 75%+ chance of dying. (Please check vid on this in case I recall it incorrectly.) But if you have proper Vit-D level over 80 only 2% of people succumb.

    I happen to be unable to process D3 supplements without fairly substantial skin issues, so take cod liver oil instead. I’ve had maybe one very mild flu (C-19?) in 3+ years.

    More from the vid don’t use 50-level sunblock. It’s much too strong so doesn’t allow D3 absorption. The doc here says 10,000 IU/day of D3 will do the trick for most people.

    Not in the vid is the exceptional case of redheads who seem to be able to generate Vit-D on their own. The hypothesis here being fair-skinned northern Europeans adapted this way to optimize long-winter, low-light survival. (Weird, though, where red hair shows up.) Conversely, the majority of patients entering hospitals at the beginning of the plandemic were dark-skinned blacks or Asians with sub-30 vit-D blood levels.

    And to think our own government doctors tried their very best to deter vitamin D intake during the plandemic. Sometimes flogging is too kind.

  4. 6:34 from 1 hr ago. Whatever security lapses allowed the Israel invasion to happen, it’s clear such complacency is fatal and can’t continue. Heads should roll. The good news is that she now seems to be pounding the living shit out of the enemy. (An enemy who takes innocent women as hostages.)

    • I believe it was a result of what has been going on with left versus right, the new gov. Who wanted to stop the far left Supreme Court who was running the country, running roughshod over half the population. The armed forces and intelligence is run by left wingers. The intensity of feeling was evident in the demonstrations recently and for some time.
      This may seem far fetched but I believe the leftists wanted to prevent Netanyahu gov. From removing their source of complete power, the Supreme Court. They want to blame this fiasco on the Right and religious parties. Of course the terrorist groups saw how Israel was divided, were geared up with alledgedly American arms from the Taliban and cash from Bi Dung. Whether the left has a more active role remains to be seen.
      We all know that commies will go to any lengths to achieve their – suicidal/ genocidal – goals.

    The division of labour is necessary for a functioning society. This means that people are able to do what they are trained to do. If the payment they receive for the service they provide to society is invalid, they will stop producing. Society collapses.

    The metric required to measure the validity of the payment received for services rendered is its ability to store the energy expended by work, and to own this energy without counter-party risk of confiscation.

    • She is never up on Saturday, so far I haven’t seen her today. I have been thinking about her and how she must be suffering.

    • I am one the net with a computer until sometime on the 12th, I am using a cell phone hot spot that I checked out of the Library, it is due back on the 12th.

      I have ordered one that will arrive on the 13th but I won’t have money enough to get it activated until the 14th. I will be back to the frustrating position of using a cell phone, the two weeks I will have with the hot spot is nice and using one of my own will be nicer. The best thing about them is that if/when you move you don’t have to get the ISP to connect you new location to the net. Still the last part of this month will be better then not being on the net. Posting things from a cell phone is a pain.

    The woman whose body was seen on video in the back of a truck earlier today driven by Palestinian terrorists to Gaza has been identified.

    30-year-old Shani Louk was a German citizen visiting Israel. She was attending a music festival for peace held near the Gaza border fence when she was murdered today by Hamas terrorists..

    Shani Houk’s body lay lifeless in the back of a truck after Hamas raided southern Israel on Saturday. Palestinians were filmed chanting “Allahu Akbar!” (God is good) as they drove down the streets of Gaza.

    On Sunday, Israel Defense Systems (IDF) announced it had exchanged fire with the terrorist group Hezbollah, the Iran-backed armed group in Lebanon, in a contested area in Israel.

    This exchange comes on the heels of a devastating attack by Palestinian terrorist group Hamas that left hundreds of Israelis dead and thousands injured.

    Hezbollah, an armed party backed by Iran, launched guided rockets and artillery onto three posts in the Shebaa Farms area. They claimed this was “in solidarity” with the Palestinian people, following a multi-pronged attack by Palestinian terrorists on Israeli towns.

    Senior Hezbollah official Hashem Safieddine warned that the attack in Shebas was a “message” to the Israelis and the US to stop this “foolishness” or the whole region will be involved in the war.

    Echoing comments he made on CNN, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken tells NBC’s Meet the Press that “we have reports” that several Americans are among the dead and kidnapped, but would not confirm.

    He adds, “We are very actively working to verify those reports.”

    Blinken says “any American anywhere who is being detained or held hostage, that is going to be a priority for this government, for this administration, and for me, but I don’t want to get ahead of where we are. We have reports, and we have to verify them.”

    Israel’s Government Press Office confirms that at least 100 Israelis are currently being held captive in Gaza.

    Posting an infographic on its Facebook page, GPO writes that “100+ kidnapped, 2,000+ injured, 600+ murdered.”

    Until now Israel has refused to confirm the number of civilians or soldiers being held hostage. Media reports have suggested that at least 170 may be being held captive in Gaza.

    A 50th Anniversary War?

    Why did Hamas stage a long-planned, carefully executed and multifaceted attack on Israeli towns, soldiers, and civilians—one designed to instill terror by executing noncombatants, taking hostages, and desecrating the bodies of the dead?

    And how were the killers able to enter Israeli proper in enough numbers to kill what could be hundreds and perhaps eventually wound what could be thousands?

    a) Ostensibly, radical Palestinians wanted to stop any rumored rapprochement between the Gulf monarchies—the traditional source of much of their cash—and Israel, by forcing the issue of Arab solidarity in times of “war”, especially through waging a gruesome attack aimed at civilians and encompassing executions and hostage taking. Iran likely was the driving force to prompt the war—given its greatest fear is a Sunni Arab-Israeli rapprochement.

    b) Arab forces have had only success against Israel through surprise attacks during Israeli holidays, as in the Yom Kippur War (i.e., was it any accident that the present attack began 50-years almost to the day after the October 6, 1973 beginning of the Yom Kippur War?). And so they struck again this Saturday during Simchat Torah, coming at the end of a weeklong Jewish celebration of Sukkot—in hopes that others will join in as happened in 1973. (So much for the Arab warnings not for Westerners to conduct war during Ramadan).

    c) Hamas may have reckoned that recent Israeli turmoil and mass leftist street protests over proposed reforms of the Israeli Supreme Court had led to permanent internal divisions and thus a climate of domestic distraction if not an erosion of deterrence.

    But, more importantly, in a larger sense the Biden administration has contributed both to the notion that Hamas was a legitimate Middle East player, and to the perception that the U.S. was backing away from its traditional support for Israel—to the delight of Hamas—based on the following inexplicable policies:

    1) In February Secretary of State Blinken had bragged that not only had the Biden administration resumed massive aid to the PLA cancelled by Trump, but cumulatively had transferred $1 billion—even as Palestinian authorities bragged that they would continue to pay bounties to the families of “martyrs” (i.e., those killed while conducting terrorists attacks against Israel).

    And millions of American dollars also went into Gaza, run by Hamas—despite the Biden administration’s efforts to keep mostly quiet the resumption of such inexplicable support. In this regard, note the current shameful State-Department (“U.S. Office of Palestinian Affairs”) website news release that was posted after today’s attack. It ended with this quite embarrassing, morally equivalent admonition:

    “We urged all sides to refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks. Terror and violence solve nothing.”

    “All sides?” “Refrain from retaliatory attacks?”

    So Israel is the moral equivalent of terrorists executing civilians and brutalizing their corpses? And the IDF then is not supposed to retaliate against these killers?

    This Biden State Department insanity cannot stand. So expect some apparatchik to take down this Munich-like posting as soon as possible.

    2) The Biden administration had recently released some $6 billion to Iran through a prison swap deal that saw South Korea hand over embargoed Iranian money to Qatar—despite Tehran’s increased anti-Israeli rhetoric and its loud brag about the escalation. We should assume money for rockets (Hamas claims they have launched 5,000, and have received 100,000 of them via the Damascus airport) and weapons in general for Hamas were supplied by Iran, which again is likely the chief catalyst for this surprise attack.

    3) Almost immediately, after his inauguration Biden mobilized to resume the bankrupt Iran deal. And in unhinged fashion he appointed the anti-Israeli bigot, pro-Iranian journalist Robert Malley as America’s chief negotiator. Note that Malley is now under FBI investigation for security breaches, involving disclosing classified U.S. documents and also for allegedly helping pro-Iranian activists and propagandists land influential billets inside the U.S. government.

    In short, there was a general Hamas and Iranian perception that the Biden administration had resumed the discredited Obama madness of empowering Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas. This discredited agenda was to “balance” the power of Israel and the moderate Arab Gulf governments to achieve “creative tension”, exacerbated by Biden’s loathing of the government of Benjamín Netanyahu (who has been snubbed by Biden and never invited for an official visit).

    Note as well that the Biden administration has siphoned off key weapons and munitions from stockpiles inside Israel to transfer them to Ukraine. The so-called “War Reserve Ammunition—Israel” is all but depleted of just the sorts of weapons needed in the present crisis.

    In this regard is there not a pattern here?

    Upon the ascension of Biden and his woke military agendas, we saw the following: the complete humiliation of the U.S. in Kabul in its most shameful flight in 50 years and greatest abandonment of equipment in its history; followed by Vladimir Putin’s opportunistic invasion of Ukraine; followed by China’s new belligerence and escalating threats to Taiwan; followed by Turkey’s new de facto alliance with Russia and recent drone encounter with the U.S. air force in Syria; followed by the Hamas/Iranian inspired attack on Israel—with more to come unfortunately.

    And will Biden finally get the message from the attacks on the Ukraine and Israeli borders, that borders matter and we too are being invaded, with the encouragement of the Mexican government and to the advantage of the cartels whose fentanyl exports kills 100,000 Americans a year?

    What to expect in Israel?

    Expect the following: the usual Hamas/terrorist selling and/or execution of Israeli hostages, the use of Israeli hostages as “human shields” in Gaza, the bargaining/sale of the remains of Israeli dead, occasional killings of Jews inside Israel by Arabs who falsely believe there will be a winning Middle East-wide existential war against Israel. And finally, a devastating Israeli counter-response that will eventually earn a U.S. rebuke.

    What should the U.S. instead do?

    It should quit talking to Iran and restore full sanctions against it. It should cut off all aid immediately to all the Palestinians. It should undertake a 1973-like massive arms lift of key munitions to Israel and warn Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and others in the Middle East not to intervene or else, given that Israel will need several weeks to deal with Hamas and Gaza. And if it shows any hesitation or weakness, other terrorist groups will opportunistically jump in.

    In June the Palestinian SAMA News Agency openly reported that US weapons left by Joe Biden and Mark Milley when the Biden regime surrendered to the Taliban have now found their way to Gaza.

    This was three months before the historic Hamas attack on Israel this weekend.

    Over 250 Israelis and foreigners are dead, over a thousand were injured, and dozens of Israelis were captured and sent back to Gaza.

    In 2021, Joe Biden armed the Taliban with $80 Billion in US weapons and supplies when he surrendered to the Taliban and fled Afghanistan in 2021.

    The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah issued a threat to Israel and the United States on Sunday, suggesting that it could get further involved in support of Hamas as the war escalates.

    Hamas, a militant Palestinian group which the U.S. designates as a terrorist organization, launched a surprise attack on Israel on Saturday. The violence has thus far left hundreds of Israelis and Palestinians dead, with Hamas taking a number of Israelis captive.

    Israeli media reported on Sunday that the security cabinet had officially declared the country at war over night. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had previously said on Saturday “we are at war,” and vowed Israel would “take revenge for this black day.”

    Hezbollah, an Iran-backed organization that the U.S. also considers a terrorist group, on Sunday launched a barrage of mortar shells into Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) then responded by shooting artillery into Lebanon. No casualties were reported on either side, according to Reuters.

    The Taliban has requested that other Arab countries give its troops passage to join the war against Israel.

    The Express reports that the Taliban has asked other Muslim countries to grant their forces free passage to Israel.

    The report claims that an appeal was sent to Iran, Iraq, and Jordan, saying that “If other countries give us passage, we will conquer Jerusalem.”

    The report comes after Hamas launched a surprise attack against israel, leaving 350 Israelis dead so far and more than 100 Israelis captive in the Gaza strip. The idea has reported that the fighting in Israeli territory is still ongoing, more than 24 hours later.

    The Taliban has yet to be recognized by any government after it seized power following the US withdrawal from Afghanistan. Its request to join the war against Israel comes close behind a series of mortar attacks by Hezbollah, also apparently in support of the Hamas invasion.

    His parents are fearing the worst.
    In a text message to his mom and dad, Golberg-Polin wrote: “I love you. I’m sorry.”
    The American was born in Berkeley, California and later moved to Jerusalem with his family.
    “We just want him home and safe. We love you. Come home to us,” his dad said as reported by the Jerusalem Post.
    Some reports claim over 250 people were killed at the festival.

  38. Hackers Access, Leak and Sell 23andMe User Data Targeting Ashkenazi Jews

    On Friday, the genetic testing company 23andMe confirmed that data from a subset of users, targeting those with Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry, has been compromised and listed for sale online.

    Wired reports that the company suggests its systems were not breached but that the attackers were able to gather data by guessing the login credentials of a group of users and then using the feature DNA Relatives to scrape additional information to compile the list.

    It is reported that the list of 999,999 people who have Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry has been shared on the internet, including the Dark Web.

    The database includes first and last names, sex, and 23andMe’s evaluation of where their ancestors came from. Although most of the people targeted are not famous, the database is titled “ashkenazi DNA Data of Celebrities” and appears to have been sorted to only include people with Ashkenazi heritage.

    Two Israeli tourists were killed on Sunday in the Egyptian city of Alexandria, police officials said.

    They said a policeman on routine duty in the city’s Manshiyah district “randomly” opened fire at a group of Israeli tourists visiting Pompey’s Pillar, one of the city’s Roman-era landmarks.

    An Egyptian was killed and another wounded in the attack, said the officials.

    The suspect has been detained and the wounded taken to hospital, they said.

    The Democratic Socialists of America (the party of Ilhan Omar, Cori Bush, Rashida Talib, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jamaal Bowman) gathered in New York on Sunday to hold a Pro-Palestinian “All Out for Palestine” rally.

    Hamas reportedly launched over 5,000 missiles into southern and central Israel. Reports reveal 700 Israelis are dead over 2,150 are wounded and 100 more taken hostage.

    The death toll is expected to rise after Hamas fired thousands more rockets and sent dozens more militants into Israeli towns.

    ‘Why in the world does it have 26,000 pages of documents related to the Word of God?’

    The Internal Revenue Service, during the Barack Obama administration, infamously targeted Christian and conservative groups, denying them tax status so they had to withhold their comments about what was happening to the nation during that election year.

    And a recent Newsweek investigation revealed that the FBI has a new classification for those it suspects of harboring “domestic terrorist” components, MAGA supporters, many of whom are Christian.

    Now a report from the American Center for Law and Justice reveals that the IRS still is at it, as litigation involving the federal service has revealed it has 345,000 pages of documents “related to targeting Christians.”

    In fact, the litigation shows more than 56,000 pages of IRS documents relating to the “Bible,” 115,000 relating to “Christian,” 26,000 relating to “Word of God” and 50,000 relating to “prayer.”

    The ACLJ reported, “Just as Newsweek broke the story that the FBI is targeting MAGA supporters of Donald Trump as the 2024 presidential election nears, we unearthed bombshell revelations in our FOIA lawsuit showing that the Biden IRS is also targeting Christians.”

    The report explained that Joe Biden and FBI chief Christopher Wray both have a “history of targeting conservatives and Christians, which the ACLJ recently proved in another FOIA lawsuit against the Deep State FBI.”

    It cited the Newsweek reporting that confirmed, “The federal government believes that the threat of violence and major civil disturbances around the 2024 U.S. presidential election is so great that it has quietly created a new category of extremists that it seeks to track and counter: Donald Trump’s army of MAGA followers.”

    he ACLJ reported, “Such a report by Newsweek is unsurprising because of the Biden administration’s past transgressions of targeting political opposition. The ACLJ knows firsthand about the Deep State’s tactics after the IRS Tea Party targeting and, more recently, from the FOIA lawsuit we filed against the IRS after we found out the IRS was now targeting Christian groups, refusing to grant them tax-exempt status.”

    Because of its earlier confrontations with the IRS over the agency’s discrimination against Christian groups, the ACLJ sought a long list of documents.

    “We specifically asked for documents related to ‘Word of God,’ ‘Bible,’ ‘Christian,’ ‘Prayer,’ etc., the group said. When the Biden administration refused to comply a lawsuit was filed.

    While the case still isn’t resolved, the ACLJ said, “We now know the IRS has 345,000 pages of documents related to targeting Christians. But the list of the terms involved and the sheer volume of documents are shocking. Regarding the term Word of God, the IRS has 26,000 pages of documents, and regarding Prayer, the IRS has over 50,000 pages of documents!”

    The organization wondered, “Why in the world does the IRS have 26,000 pages of documents related to the ‘Word of God?’ We have caught the IRS red-handed in its unlawful targeting of Christian groups. We aren’t buying the IRS’s complaints about the volume of documents, so we are going back to court to ensure we receive all the needed documents.”

    The report said, “Christians should be outraged to know that their federal government violated religious liberty in such an egregious fashion.”
