Freedom of speech will be the loser in the Israel Hamas war

Now this post about Muslims in Germany arrested for handing out sugary baked goods, the classic Islamic way of celebrating activie jihad attacks of sufficient magnitude. Yes, Muslims around the world did this on 911 as well.

Berlin police are arresting people for handing out baked goods. This is basically the same as banning religious gear in schools in France and Quebec. The baked goods aren’t the problem, and neither is the black sacks Muslim women wear and certainly neither is say, a Christian cross or a Buddhist robe. The problem is ISLAM. And any nation that continues to import millions of muslims and then complain about their attitudes towards Jews or homosexuality, or infidels, or women and try and ban the clothing or desserts, they are either unsalvageably stupid, or totally myopic, or what they in fact really are. Dishonest. What we know about Islam and its history, the agencies causing this immigration know. Muslims are not being brought in despite the horrors of Islam but because of them. Not a bug, as they say, but a feature.

The thesis counter-thesis solution to this is, bring in millions of Muslims who are intolerant to liberal society, encourage them to act against these aspects of the host nations, and then make sure the narrative does not hold Islam as responsible, but the vectors of attack, Freedom of speech. Same thing they are doing to eliminate guns. I write this knowing you all think this already at this point. Create a society where there is a lot of shooting, and blame the thing you want to get rid of in order to disempower the public against the state. Eliminate laws that punish theft? Create a state in which there is no private property. Clearly stores will close under those conditions and in the worst neighbourhoods. The state will step in. There will be a new system in place and no one will like it, and no one will be able to fight it. CBDCs may factor heavily into this. But however they do it, it will result in a dramatic lowering of the standards of living, (as the Pope pointed out recently, it is a sin for us to even have this much choice) and a dramatic loss of freedoms of all kinds. ALL kinds.

Arresting people for celebrating what is core to their beliefs is not democratic. In fact its anathema. This is the con of the Leftist dialectic. The shifting of level of abstraction. Look layers up or layers down to “fix the problem” they create when really it’s to fix their problem of an individualist society. Sentencing a man to two months in jail for calling a woman who appears to be a hard core leftist activist a “fat dyke” is the result. She can call him a racist white imperialist toxic male Christian, or whatever the encouraged insults are, and insults which actually carry real consequences, but no derogatory names can ever be applied to revolutionaries. And again, NOT hypocrisy but dialectics.

As truly hideous as the attack on Israel is, and it is, we serve the enemy when we arrest people for what they have to say about it. We are damn close to that in the West for people who oppose the Ukraine war in fact. Either we believe in a free society or we do not. And if we do, we must get a grip on the borders and watch who we allow to live within them.

AFTERTHOUGHT:

Assuming for a moment that what people think and say has any path to the common ear, it is far better to have people expressing what they really believe so we know who they are, what they want, and how many of them there is.

We already know that what people think will not get any kind of fair play in the former West today. We see that clear as we can with Islamic protests of SOGI, the trans and homosexual beatification in schools. The government and its dialectical weaponry of broadcast media make damn sure the average person has no clue that the protests happen at all, or if they do, Muslims are not the instigators, and if muslims are present, it’s because evil white American racists have conned them into it. We saw Trudeau actually trying to explain this personally to a Muslim who was opposed to SOGI.
