I saw your post to me in my inbox, and took the chance that you may have been replying to me. You were! I hear ya; I’m not computer savvy either.
Too bad somebody at WP couldn’t give you a hand with this issue, but I think I know why… It appears to me, that the absence of any immediate human contact / help confirms that AI is operating these public forums…There are no humans that we can reach out to for help. Even the “chats” on the other side of our screens are AI. We both do the best we can!
I was in Ottawa for the march. At least 15,000 people, Christians, Muslims other believers ….gathered in love, prayer and peace calling for a STOP to the infiltration of pornographic and diabolical brainwashing of our young, innocent children. I couldn’t even see the “paid for”..Transgender and Union.. Counter Protesters. GOOD DEFINITELY OVERCAME EVIL yesterday. NO SURPRISE ..that MSM and the Globalists… don’t want you to see what happened in REALITY.
Reporter just said that counter protesters, ie. those in favour of SOGI … outnumbered those of us who marched to protect our children from SOGI. That was definitely not true in Ottawa.
In Ottawa, we far, far outnumbered the other side.

Eeyore, did you know that the “Notify me of follow-up comments by email” isn’t specific enough. When I click on that option, I’m wrongly assuming I will get follow-up comments to a comment I made earlier. It’s not, and it’s preventing dialogue.
The notification should say something like, “Helen O’Connor replied to Skywatcher60 on…” Otherwise, I get everybody’s comments. I like to be able to address those made specifically to myself. Otherwise, I quickly delete the notification, thinking they replied to someone else. Most of us don’t have time to sit around all day opening and reading all the emailed comments that come from this site or the many others we’re subscribed to. It’s a waste of time when you’re opening links that have absolutely nothing to do with the reader.
Perhaps you can change that setting with WordPress, as other blog masters have done. Otherwise, we have no idea that someone responded to our comment. I just now found out “by accident” that Helen replied to my comment. There is a better way… Thank you, for looking into that, and hopefully, being able to make the adjustment.
Also, once we’ve subscribed to your site, we shouldn’t have to be continually asked “to confirm” EACH TIME we make a comment before our comment gets posted. Just a couple of thoughts that will hopefully improve your otherwise excellent site. I trust you’ll have a blessed day!
So I am not an expert on WP. I do the best I can.
I can say that if it is asking you to confirm a lot, it could be that your IP changed since the previous time, or you are using a VPN (as everyone should) or some other issue I know nothing about.
Sometimes to answer a comment, like now, it knows who I am and lets me do it, and other times I have to fill in all the blanks.
Partly it could all be because I have to have a very aggressive firewall or my site would be down in under 30 seconds from DDoS attacks. The degree to which the FW makes things a little harder may be proportional to the amount and severity of attacks on the site.
I don’t know much more than that I’m sorry. It isn’t my field.

I think I may have solved part of the problem. I went into my WP settings and changed the way replies come to me. Time will tell. I didn’t have to do that with my other subs, so I hope it works for yours. I’m really enjoying your site, and would like to see it be all that it can be. Keep up the great work… while you still can! After many years of research and reading the findings of others, I’ve discovered that it’s the Vatican that’s behind all that’s happening in our world today. I forgot to mention in my last reply to you, that according to the Holy Bible, your comment was incorrect. Satan’s last battle isn’t taking down families or attacking marriage; it’s against believers in Christ. After the 1,000 year reign of Christ (Millennium), Satan, who is bound during that time, is let loose to attack the Christians (born again of the Holy Spirit saints). See Revelation (last book in the Bible) chp. 20: 1-15. Those who are not born again go down with him. I apologize for my forgetfulness!
