It is hard for some people to believe ordinary Canadians participated in the FREEDOM convoy on their own accord. They understood the government did not have the right to mandate a vaccine. They cherish their FREEDOM.

Jamie Sarkonak: House arrest for impregnating daughter a result of race-based sentencing
Nova Scotia’s lenient court system hurts the very communities it tries to protect
…
It’s hard to say how much the father’s community appreciates the court’s leniency, but what is clear from the court record is that he is not welcome. His crime put a rift between him and his seven other children, some of whom have barred him from seeing his grandchildren. His eighth child will be raised in foster care. He has been denounced within the broader African Nova Scotian community, and has consequently experienced social isolation.

Court Refused to Let Man Argue Obvious Defense at Trial
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3M2fI_gEJAg
Note: a quick recap of both sides’ claims.
Victim claims that he caught a burglar in the house and that the burglar shot him.
Offender claims that he was having a multi-year affair with the victim’s wife, who gave him the key to the house and the passcode to the security system, and often asked him to go to the house when nobody was home and feed the cats. Which is what he was doing – that day. Victim had recently found out about the affair, came home and surprised the boyfriend there.
The boyfriend hid in a closet as there was no way out and angry husband came at him with a knife raised to stab him. In the closet, the boyfriend found a loaded gun and shot in self defense.
The judge ruled that no mention of self defense was allowed at the trial…
It seems interesting to me that exculpatory evidence, truth or a reasonable defense are now being denied not just at extra-judicial boards and hearings, that exculpatory evidence is not being withheld in just purely political trials but that the whole judicial system is being corrupted even in criminal trials.
After all, behind the Iron Curtain, political dissidents were often not charged with political crimes, but twisted versions of something they had done became turned into a criminal offense and any defense was useless…and voila, a politically inconvenient person or just a neighbour a party apparatchick had a beef with became a regular criminal.

Top Climate Scientist Reveals the Key Fact He Deliberately OMITTED In “Climate Change” Paper to Pacify Woke Editors and Get His Paper Published in Top Scientific Journal
By Cullen Linebarger Sep. 6, 2023 7:15 am312 Comments

A prominent climate scientist has come forward and admitted his role in deceiving the public on “climate change.” At the same time, he also exposed the inordinate power woke editors at scientific magazines have over the careers of actual scientists.
Patrick T. Brown, a lecturer at Johns Hopkins University and doctor of earth and climate sciences, wrote in the Free Press that climate science must now fit into “pre-approved narratives” to receive publication by notable scientific journals. He also revealed that he omitted a key fact regarding climate change and fires in a recent paper for one of these journals.
Brown opens his piece by citing examples from AP, Bloomberg, the New York Times, and PBS, blaming wildfires in Canada, Europe, and Maui solely on climate change.
The scientist then goes on to explain that he had a recent academic paper published in Nature, a leading scientific journal. He wrote the piece in a way to pacify the woke editors who cared more about pushing a narrative rather than the truth.
The paper I just published—’Climate warming increases extreme daily wildfire growth risk in California’—focuses exclusively on how climate change has affected extreme wildfire behavior. I knew not to try to quantify key aspects other than climate change in my research because it would dilute the story that prestigious journals like Nature and its rival, Science, want to tell.
By focusing solely on climate change, Brown admitted he ignored a highly critical fact regarding wildfires: 80 percent of them are caused by humans. This completely blows up the fraudulent narrative the corporate media has perpetuated on the American people.
Brown goes on to lament the extensive influence these far-left editors at magazines like Nature and Science have on actual scientists. Because of this, climate science has become utterly worthless and only serves to advance the whims of the left.
This matters because it is critically important for scientists to be published in high-profile journals; in many ways, they are the gatekeepers for career success in academia. And the editors of these journals have made it abundantly clear, both by what they publish and what they reject, that they want climate papers that support certain preapproved narratives—even when those narratives come at the expense of broader knowledge for society.
To put it bluntly, climate science has become less about understanding the complexities of the world and more about serving as a kind of Cassandra, urgently warning the public about the dangers of climate change. However understandable this instinct may be, it distorts a great deal of climate science research, misinforms the public, and most importantly, makes practical solutions more difficult to achieve.
Brown further elaborates that scientists who do not strictly abide by the editors’ wishes risk not getting their work published, losing out on a wide audience and potential funding at universities in the process. Brown also reveals that he has been a victim of this bullying.
When I had previously attempted to deviate from the formula, my papers were rejected out of hand by the editors of distinguished journals, and I had to settle for less prestigious outlets.
The climate scientist closes by calling on the media to stop accepting these articles at “face value” and for researchers to start standing up to these editors.
The media, for instance, should stop accepting these papers at face value and do some digging on what’s been left out.
The editors of the prominent journals need to expand beyond a narrow focus that pushes the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. And the researchers themselves need to start standing up to editors, or find other places to publish.

Major cities across the country saw over $2 billion in damages in the wake of 2020’s Antifa and BLM George Floyd riots. Property was damaged, officers attacked, and at least 30 people lost their lives. In the years since, these same cities have paid out millions of dollars to the same people that participated in this unrest.
In September of 2020, it was revealed that over $2 billion in property damage claims arising from the riots were made over that summer, marking the costliest riots in US history. The Foundation for Economic Education suggested that this total was likely higher, as the $2 billion figure looked only at insured businesses, and 75 percent of businesses are under insured. Around 40 percent of small businesses have no insurance.
Most recently, the Denver City Council approved a settlement of $4.7 million to over 300 people who attended Black Lives Matter riots in the summer of 2020 and were arrested by Denver police. The settlement will go to the activists who said that their First Amendment rights were violated by Denver officers, according to CBS News.
Late last month, a California jury awarded $3.75 million to a man who was by Los Angeles officers with hard foam bullets, which are non-lethal weapons, on the night of May 29, 2020 as riots overtook downtown after George Floyd’s May 25 death in Minneapolis. Another man was awarded $375,000 for the same reason in March. That same man was awarded an additional $860,000 by the Los Angeles City Council.
In New York City, officials have agreed to pay more than $13 million to settle a civil rights lawsuit brought forth by around 1,300 people that were arrested by police in the city during the riots. Another class action was settled by the city earlier this year, with an agreement to pay around $45,500 each for at least 200 protestors for “kettling” a group of activists.
The city also faces more than 600 individual cases, with roughly half resulting in settlements and resolutions, costing the city around $12 million as of July.
In Minneapolis, the city that sparked the summer of violence, the city council approved a $27 million settlement for the family of George Floyd.
The city reached a $600,000 settlement in 2022 with 12 activists that were injured during the riots.
In Portland, city officials reached a $250,000 settlement in 2022 over the police’s use of tear gas and other crowd control devices to gain control of the city that saw more than 100 consecutive nights of rioting over the summer of 2020. The city also agreed to pay $100,000 to a man who claimed to be wrongfully arrested after refusing to give up his protest sign.
In March, Philadelphia announced that it had reached a $9.25 million settlement with 343 activists who had been arrested during the riots in the city.
These cases in major cities alone amount to over $68 million. Between May 26 and June 8 of 2020, between $1 and 2 billion in damages were caused in 20 states.
Some cities have settled with businesses over these riots, including Seattle, which paid out $3.65 million in a lawsuit brought forth by businesses that were disrupted in connection to the violent Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, which closed down an eight-block section of the city.
In 2021, it was revealed that more than 1,500 businesses in Minneapolis and St. Paul were damaged or destroyed during the riots, and were projected to take years to rebuild. $500 million in damages came from the Twin Cities alone.

Kamala Harris says she ‘may have to take over’ as president and is ready to do so
By Steven Nelson

WASHINGTON — Vice President Kamala Harris said Wednesday that an important part of her job is the fact that she “may have to take over” if President Biden is unable to complete his term in office — and that she’s ready to do so if required.
Harris was pressed on her readiness for the Oval Office during an overseas trip — after she initially tried to deflect a question about the 80-year-old Biden’s age by pointing to his legislative accomplishments.

State Department Sought to Ease Diplomats’ Pain Over Afghanistan Withdrawal With Therapy Dog, New Book Says
State Department employees were so distressed by President Joe Biden’s botched 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan that the deputy secretary of state, Wendy Sherman, found diplomats working on the evacuation in tears. At Foggy Bottom, leadership sought to ease their pain—by bringing in a therapy dog, according to a new book.
“Afghanistan was a collective trauma for the administration, especially the State Department,” writes Atlantic reporter Frank Foer in his new book, The Last Politician, an account of Biden’s first two years in office. “To deal with the trauma, the State Department brought a therapy dog into the building with the hope that it might ease the staff’s pain.”

I got this story from one of my mother’s Cuban cousins. You won’t see it on pro-Russia alt-media. The stable of slimy apologists will scream, Western propaganda !!
But it isn’t.
It doesn’t fit the anti-imperialist pose of the BRICS ‘splainers. That’s so transparently fake only those at the bottom of the IQ Map actually believe it. Or willfully blind, rigid ideologues who find a way to divert blame for everything to lizard-khazar-globalist-neocon-jooooooos.
Russia is no longer communist. Up to 90% of the population burns with hatred for what they suffered in the system called ‘Communism’.
So what are these Cubans saying?
They don’t define communism by theories left/right, class structure, economic organization. They just see cruel totalitarianism. Its essence is the devaluation of human life, the individual is nothing. Meat.
The Gulfies aren’t commies.
Russia is doing what Gulfies do when they hire foreign workers. They send contractors to poor countries to get slaves. Describe jobs – construction, housemaids, childcare – contracts stipulate salary, terms. Once they arrive in the country, they surrender their passports and become slaves. Rape and death.
