Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    • Without knowing a lot more, I am inclined to think it is a form of active measure to confuse the facts that weird and rapid cancers are happening world-wide as a seeming reaction to the mRNA Covid vaxx at a crazy high rate.
      Having said that, its also possible that it is the spike proteins the mRNA platform causes people to make as a result of that shot, rather than the platform itself.

      In other words, is it possible that the mRNA platform could deliver useful things. But getting it to force the body to make the really pathogenic part of the Covid virus was the issue more than the delivery mechanism. Somewhat like saying Thalidomide was a pill that caused birth defects so now we should never take pills. Still, probably an active measure. The Wikipedia on that explains it pretty well as far as I can tell.

      • Or by taking another form of mRNA injection one is made sick in some other significant way, thereby marginalizing the significance of the cancer one has. Cynical, I know, but it does fulfill the depopulation effort, and continuously trying new things that end up killing us seems more plausible after the first mRNA launch than any “trusted”, untested medicine. Predating on hope.

    • I think this is the “new” cancer pill that is suppose to cure/kill all formed of cancer. They are also working on a nanite to kill cancer cells.

    • A good choice. Israelis (Hungarian-Israelis) were enthusiastic reading about Hungarian-Azeri partnership. Lots of investment capital, educated young population, Islam-ic but not Islam-ist.

      Azerbaijan is Israel’s best friend in the Islamic world. Never had a joooish-problem. Good business partners. AND *in this case* the enemy of my friend is my enemy. Iran.

      Russia has to keep its very cordial relations with Azeris quiet because of Armenia, Turkey, and Iran. (*Enemy-friend* jazz not valid here.)

    The US Department of Defense used these playing cards to identify and capture America’s enemies, the dangerous members of Saddam Hussein’s inner circle.

    This was a clever way the DOD thought up to target, capture or kill America’s enemies.

    During our discussion, Eric Clark dropped a bomb that left us stunned.

    Eric Clark, who has had access to the original 14,000 hours of government footage from January 6, told us about the clandestine system the government is using to identify the Americans who innocently walked into the US Capitol on January 6th — Government playing cards!

    According to Eric, the FBI has created approximately 3,200 “playing cards” to identify and target the enemies of the regime.

    Eric Clark: The FBI, they have this facial recognition software. It’s called baseball. So when they spit in their photos, their video, and they set their parameters, it spits out what’s called “baseball cards.”

    So I’m in this database, and I’m looking through these baseball cards, and there’s about 3,200 people in there. And among those 3200 people are all the people we know that have so far been arrested.

    Jim Hoft: Wow! So they have 3200 baseball cards that they spit out?

    Eric Clark: Approximately, 3200 baseball cards. I didn’t count them. But going by the number of pages and number of cards on each page, I think it’s fair to say approximately 3200.

    Jim Hoft: Wow. That is unbelievable. Yeah. And each one is an individual. It’s a specific individual.

    Eric Clark: You click on that card and it gives you sort of their statistics, so to say. Like, maybe some clips of footage that they plan on using, maybe the special agents investigating surveillance schedule even. Like the days and times that they plan on surveilling these people. And all this, which I wouldn’t discuss, but it is all there. And also sort of to this main file was all their requests for funding the FBI

    Jim Hoft: That’s really big, Eric. I hadn’t heard. Okay. But these cards, it’s reminiscent of the Iraq playing cards that the FBI created during the Iraq War, and those were, of course, the enemies of America at the time, and they put out all these playing cards. So now you’re saying that it appears that now they have the same sort of a system for patriotic Americans that they’re after and will be arresting. Very, very concerning… The government has labeled protesters who went through open doors and were welcomed by police as enemies of the state. So I think Americans need to wake up to that because they’re now labeling fellow Americans as enemies of this government, and we have Republicans and Democrats both giving them funding to do very, very concerning, Eric. It’s outrageous, actually.

So when a fake registration was filed to vote in 2020 by a Canadian citizen, Clerk Cathy Pittsley knew that it wasn’t a real voter and she had the time to investigate and determine the voter wasn’t real.

    “The first danger sign was that I could never get ahold of them, by phone or mail.”

    “They didn’t have any ID, they didn’t have any serious proof they lived in the district, and they certainly had nothing to show that they had met the basic legal requirements to be considered a resident or a voter,” Pittsley told the Gateway Pundit. “There were all these red flags, but they were responding over email.”

    I’ve been asked by quite a few people to share my reaction to the recent words of Pope Francis about Catholics in America replacing faith with “ideology” and being “reactionary.”

    He stated, “You have seen that in the United States, the situation is not easy: There is a very strong reactionary attitude. It is organized and shapes the way people belong, even emotionally.”

    Now this is one of those informal comments he is in the habit of making. And Church teaching is not conveyed by informal comments of the Pope.

    Nevertheless, he said it and it merits a response.

    Yes of course “it’s not easy,” when we have a Pope who is causing so much confusion that some of his own Cardinals years ago had to formally ask him for clarifications about his comments and teachings. And he has failed to answer those questions or offer those clarifications.

    He says that some of us in America are “reactionary.” We are “going back.”

    I guess that means he sees himself as “going forward.”

    But when someone speaks ambiguously to lead people to think that it’s possible to approve things that the Church has always taught are immoral, then yes, we are “going back” to what the Church has always taught, because it has been handed on by Jesus and the apostles.

    Of course, history is always changing, and we always have to grow in our ability to proclaim and apply the Faith to new circumstances. But this means we improve our ability to the Gospel, not that we improve on the Gospel itself.

    The questions some of his Cardinals asked Pope Francis are not on minor or technical issues. They are about the very existence of moral absolutes: norms about right and wrong that apply to all people in all circumstances, and that personal “conscience” cannot grant an exception to.

    If affirming the very existence of moral norms is what Pope Francis means by “going back,” that wouldn’t mean there’s something wrong with us.

    It would simply mean that Pope Francis is going in the wrong direction.

    And every Catholic has the right to come to that conclusion and to speak up about it.

    And if in fact our conclusion is wrong and Pope Francis is denying absolute moral norms, is it unreasonable to ask him to just say so and clear up our confusion?

    I am a faithful and practicing Catholic. In fact, I have served as an Official at the Vatican (under St. John Paul II) and on several occasions, in face to face conversations with Pope Francis, have received his encouragement for my pro-life work.

    I accept everything the Church teaches, including about the role of the Pope. When you examine that Catholic teaching, it is clear that the infallibility of the Pope only applies to his pronouncements on what the Church already believes.

    On everything else, it’s perfectly OK to conclude – respectfully — that the Pope is mistaken. Catholic doctrine does not consider him a god.

    The Pope is the “Vicar of Christ.” That’s a referential term. It points to the one who said he is the only Teacher, Christ our Lord (see Matt. 23:10). The Pope has the same obligation to be faithful to those teachings as do the rest of us.
    Even Jesus said his teaching was derived from the Father, and that the Holy Spirit’s teaching was derived from the Son (see John 7:16; 16:13). So what does that say about our own teaching?

    At the end of the readings of Mass, we say, “The Word of the Lord,” not “The Word of the Pope.” Indeed, I would recommend to priests and bishops that they ask themselves whether they quote the Pope more frequently than they quote Jesus and Scripture.

    And the Pope has an additional obligation. As Jesus said to Peter, “Strengthen your brethren” (Luke 22:32).

    Whenever someone who has been living the Faith comes away from hearing the Pope or any preacher of the Gospel, they should be confirmed in the Faith, not confused about it.

    They should not be wondering whether the Faith is really true, but rather filled with new conviction about its truth, and new confidence to proclaim it to everyone they know.

    We can affirm all this and still maintain the highest respect for the office of the Papacy and the firmest union with the Catholic Church.

    Now in regard to replacing faith with ideology, that is the specialty of the Left, and the Democrat Party, in America.

    Look at what Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, and other politicians have done who claim to practice the Catholic Faith, but hold abortion to be a sacred right that is not to be limited in any way, but rather protected, promoted, and funded. In what way is this not substituting faith for ideology?

    Look, furthermore, at what they and their party are doing to the meaning of marriage, gender, and religious freedom. Is the destruction of these things a reflection of faith or ideology?

    And what about the weaponization of government, the targeting of political opponents with prosecutorial misconduct, the harassment of peaceful pro-life activists, and the stealing of elections? Doesn’t their Faith tell them that any of this is immoral? Or are they more committed to ideology?

    So yes, Pope Francis, “it’s not easy” here in America. Yes, many are replacing Faith with ideology, because – to quote the title of Mark Levin’s upcoming book — the Democrat Party hates America, and hates everything that the Catholic Church stands for, teaches, and cherishes.

    There are many of us here in America who have come to see that the cultural and political battles that rage right now are a manifestation of an unprecedented spiritual battle, a war between good and evil
    Winning that war for truth, life, justice and freedom is not a backward ideology. It is the job of faithful believers who are also American patriots. It’s also part of the job description of a Pope.

    Our concern is not that there’s division, but that we stay on the right side of that division. Our concern is not whether we are going backward or forward, but that we are going towards what is true.

  16. Democrat Senator Sheldon Whitehouse Asks Chief Justice Roberts to Investigate Alito

    Democrat Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (RI) asked Chief Justice Roberts to investigate conservative Justice Samuel Alito.

    Whitehouse sent a letter to Roberts demanding an ethics investigation into Alito over his recent comments about the Supreme Court in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

    “I know this is a controversial view, but I’m willing to say it,” Alito told The Wall Street Journal in July. “No provision in the Constitution gives them the authority to regulate the Supreme Court — period.”

    “Justice Alito’s decision to opine publicly on the constitutionality of that bill may well embolden legal challenges to the bill should it become law. Indeed, his comments encourage challenges to all manner of judicial ethics laws already on the books,” Senator Whitehouse wrote in a letter first obtained by the Washington Post.

    The Hill reported:

    Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) on Monday urged Chief Justice John Roberts to investigate Justice Samuel Alito over his recent comments about Supreme Court ethics.

    In a seven-page letter, Whitehouse lodged an ethics complaint about Alito’s recent interview with The Wall Street Journal’s opinion section, in which the conservative justice said Congress has no authority to regulate the high court.

    Whitehouse, a leading critic in the Senate of ethics standards at the Supreme Court, urged Roberts to “take whatever steps are necessary” to probe the matter.

    “On the Senate Judiciary Committee, we have heard in every recent confirmation hearing that it would be improper to express opinions on matters that might come before the Court. In this instance, Justice Alito expressed an opinion on a matter that could well come before the Court,” he wrote.

    Earlier this year Chief Justice John Roberts declined to testify before Congress about Supreme Court ethics as Democrats ramp up their harassment campaign against Clarence Thomas.

    The Democrat-media complex has been harassing Clarence Thomas because their ultimate goal is to expand the Supreme Court.

    In April Propublica launched an attack on Clarence Thomas because he took vacations with a billionaire Republican donor.

    Biden’s scandals now engulfing ex-president

    There are multiple scandals about millions of dollars of foreign interest money being paid to members of the Biden family, a list that appears to be growing every day.

    Those are linked to Joe Biden’s official actions such as his demand that Ukrainian officials fire a prosecutor investigating corruption at Burisma, which was paying first son Hunter Biden a million dollars a year.

    And many more.

    Now the questions are engulfing former President Barack Obama, according to a report at Just the News.

    “I think that one question I have is, I wonder what President Obama knew about his vice president’s corrupt business schemes with his son,” Rep. James Comer, the chief of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, told the publication.

    Added former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, “None of this could have happened without his active knowledge. It’s just not possible. So what you have is Obama weaponizing the Justice Department, breaking down the rule of law, establishing a defense for any left winger who wants to be corrupt, and at the same time, using the government to launch attacks on Donald Trump, because they’re so frightened of him.”

    Gingrich’s comments came during an interview on the John Solomon Reports podcast.

    He continued, “And I think it’s the totality of this, which is going to have to be investigated. And it’s vastly more we’re going to discover that there’s an entire system of corruption, lawlessness, and weaponization that is far beyond Joe Biden.”

    In fact, it was during Obama’s White House tenure that the weaponization of the federal government became obvious, with the IRS attacks on conservatives and Christians.

    Solomon’s report pointed out the irony of claims from Obama’s aide, Valerie Jarrett, late in his presidency. That was that “The president prides himself on the fact that his administration hasn’t had a scandal and he hasn’t done something to embarrass himself.”

    She, of course, later went to work for Biden, with his “jaw-dropping pattern of secret emails with fake account names, [who] weaponized the U.S. Department of Justice against political foes, and [was entangled] with tens of millions of dollars in foreign money and other ethical conflicts.”

    Issue on point regarding Biden: “When elected vice president, earned roughly $230,000 a year. By the time he left the Blair House, Forbes and others estimated his current net worth as $9 million.”

    Biden’s scandals as president include revelations that his family took in tens of millions of dollars from foreign interests, there is an FBI report on a trusted confidential source’s report of $5 million bribes to Joe and Hunter Biden, how Joe Biden often would join his son’s business meetings by telephone and more.

    Comer told “Just the News, No Noise” that it was toward the end of Biden’s vice presidency, during which he’d “really had no role,” that he “suddenly wanted to be a foreign policy expert in all the corrupt countries around the world.”

    It was because he and his family were in it for the profits, and he “was using his son Hunter, as the front man for that,” the report said.

    Obama’s own most famous scandals included that IRS campaign to target conservatives and Christians, the infamous “Fast & Furious” gun-running operations that supplied weapons to Mexican drug cartels and the horrible loss of American lives in Benghazi in 2012.

    Just the News listed the most troubling issues as members of Congress consider an impeachment inquiry into Biden.

    “Last week, a Freedom of Information Act filed by Just the News and the Southeastern Legal Foundation revealed the National Archive has 5,400 emails under three Joe Biden pseudonym accounts, the first concrete evidence the current president used private email for government business. The Archives is refusing to release the emails, prompting a further lawsuit,” the report said.

    Some of those emails provided to Hunter Biden sensitive government information.

    Secondly, there is Biden’s “weaponization” of law enforcement that dates back as least as far as then-CIA chief John Brennan briefing Obama on Hillary Clinton’s scheme for the 2016 election to try to link Donald Trump to Russia.

    “Special Counsel John Durham concluded in a report that the allegations were ‘hogwash’ with no merit and yet the government knew they were unfounded and kept investigating for years,” Just the News reported.

    Also, the fact that “Hunter Biden, his uncle and associates solicited business fees from foreign interests specifically for profit, including from Russia, Romania, Ukraine and China, as his father oversaw policy in those countries as Obama’s vice president,” the report explained.

    The report charged, “It becomes clearer every day that documents may show that there was a virus of corruption in the White House long before President Biden took office.”

    A 12 year old girl starts saying “How dare you”, and becomes the champion of the left. The sky is falling —“ adults” saying we only have 12 years left.

    Elites meeting and supposedly simulating a global pandemic

    Months later a virus arrives on the scene. FEAR, social distancing, masks are introduced, more fear.

    People in nursing homes are vaccinated — large numbers of deaths. During this time of elevated fear people are not allowed to be with dying loved ones.

    The annual flu has disappeared and it is now a pandemic, get tested, the government tells people they are sick and just don’t know it.

    Millions refuse to fall in line — no longer trust the government or the press.

    Vaccines are introduced and governments push everyone to get vaccinated — families, friends and acquaintances are divided.

    The Prime Minister of Canada fuels the push by asking citizens if we should tolerate these people who refuse to bow to this out of control nonsense.

    Migrants are allowed into the country without vaccinations — food banks are overwhelmed, housing crisis, cultures clash

    Lockdowns, suicides increase, mental health deteriorates

    People who do not accept the vaccinations are fired from their jobs, cannot collect unemployment, lose their livelihood, access to medical treatment is denied.

    Vaccine serious injuries and deaths are not reported by the press BUT false numbers of Corona deaths are reported daily. Misinformation and dissemination become key words with the government and press.

    Governments pump up the volume on global warming. Some go so far to suggest vaccine deaths are a result of climate change.

    Fires are deliberately set — the press talks of the World broiling, boiling……..

    ‘Literally being arrested for visiting their own homes’

    Nearly a month after catastrophic wildfires devastated the Hawaiian paradise of Maui, a disturbing mystery remains as hundreds of people, including an unknown number of children, are still missing, while a journalist on the island says local residents are being “royally screwed” by all governments, with some victims arrested for trying to visit their own homes.

    At least 115 people were killed in the Aug. 8 blaze that razed the tourist town of Lahaina, making it the deadliest wildfire in the U.S. in more than a century.

    More than 3,000 individuals have reportedly been found safe after being previously unaccounted for, and the latest official figures indicate 385 names on this list are still missing.

    While officials hope many on the missing list are fine and just haven’t checked in with emergency personnel, there’s a palpable fear many are not well.

    “We’re releasing this list … because we know it will help the investigation,” said Maui Police Chief John Pelletier, in a video message posted online Thursday night. “We’re also balancing that because we know when this list comes out, it can and will cause pain for some folks.”

    He continued: “This is not an easy thing to do, but we want to make sure that we are doing everything we can to make this investigation as complete and thorough as possible.”

    “We’re very thankful for the people who have reached out by phone or email,” Steven Merrill, the FBI’s special agent in charge in Honolulu, said at a news conference.

    “As we get someone off of a list, this has enabled us to devote more resources to those who are still on the list.”

    But journalist Nick Sortor is now painting an unnerving picture of what’s happening on the island.

    “Good morning again from Maui, where residents are being ROYALLY screwed by local, state, and federal governments,” he posted Sunday on X, formerly Twitter.

    “There are COUNTLESS important issues to note, but here are just a handful:

    “1. The town of Lahaina is being INCREASINGLY fortified, and there are police & military checkpoints at literally every corner

    “2. Residents are starting to become literally impoverished due to all the shutdowns.

    “3. The government has put TENS OF THOUSANDS of people out of work and countless people are about to be forced into bankruptcy.

    “4. Federal aid is almost IMPOSSIBLE to get.

    “5. THE GOVERNMENT STILL WON’T DISCLOSE THE AMOUNT OF CHILDREN MISSING OR DEAD.

    “6. The ‘official’ number of people missing keeps changing and seems to be based on TOTAL LIES.

    “7. RESIDENTS ARE LITERALLY BEING ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTING TO VISIT THEIR OWN HOMES.

    Sortor concludes with: “MARK MY WORDS: We WILL get to the bottom of all this. I’m putting together a team of local residents & journalists to make it happen. WHAT IS THE GOVERNMENT HIDING? WHY DO THEY KEEP LYING TO THE GREAT PEOPLE OF MAUI?”

    “I came back to Maui, because the situation is getting WORSE,” he continued in subsequent messages. “Corruption is potentially running rampant—including within the NGOs (potentially even within the government-funded Red Cross).”

    He indicates residents are “getting TOTALLY fed up. Many are getting desperate, because they’re facing eviction due to losing their jobs (due to government shutdowns) and they’re receiving ZERO support.

    “Several are now willing to speak on record for the first time. I’m working on that, but unfortunately I’m just one man. Might take me a day or two to post.

    “This is my priority though—to get their message out.”

    When a commenter suggested a giant GoFundMe account for the victims, Sortor noted he’s actually trying to get something like that active soon.

    “Stay tuned! Without direct support from the people, these amazing people would end up homeless,” he said. “The government is USELESS. I’m working with the community to launch a fundraising campaign within the next 48 hours.”

    As WND reported Aug. 28, miles of black curtains dubbed by some as “The Biden Curtain” were erected to prevent people from seeing what’s happening at the origin site of the wildfires.

    Geoff Cygnus, a citizen journalist, posted the video, with a caption reading: “Miles and miles of black fencing being put up in Lahaina. Ground Zero is now behind the Biden curtain.”

    “There seems to be a huge emphasis on ensuring that the media and anyone else can’t see what’s going on,” Cygnus reported.

    “There are miles and miles of this black fence going up that was not here before that is obscuring ground zero and making sure no one can see what’s going on inside of there from the road, no one can get in there, no one can take any pictures.”

    “I was almost immediately, after these 20 seconds, National Guard came and chased me off, yelled at me, told me to get back in my car and keep moving. So you cannot pull over. You can’t even stop you car anywhere near any of this anymore.”

    In addition to the National Guard, Cygnus says there are “regular police, and what I have dubbed ‘special police,’ which are these police cars that are foreign made. The people that are driving them are not – they don’t look like any police I’ve ever seen in the United States. So kind of a bizarre situation, but they have a huge presence standing guard ensuring that nothing can be documented.”

    BEIJING (Reuters) – Chinese President Xi Jinping’s first major reform plans a decade ago were also his boldest, envisaging a transition to a Western-style free market economy driven by services and consumption by 2020.

    The 60-point agenda was meant to fix an obsolete growth model better suited to less developed countries – however, most of those reforms have gone nowhere leaving the economy largely reliant on older policies that have only added to China’s massive debt pile and industrial overcapacity.

    The failure to restructure the world’s second-largest economy has raised critical questions about what comes next for China.

    While many analysts see a slow drift towards Japan-style stagnation as the most likely outcome, there is also the prospect of a more severe crunch.

      China scores diplomatic ‘own goal’ with imperialist map

      Communist China is again reminding the world of its unparalleled ability to score diplomatic own goals. Beijing has done so by publishing a new map showing its claimed territories. “Claimed” is the operative word here. The map, as published on X by the state-run Global Times newspaper, is quite striking…

      Of course, it’s not just Taiwan, India, and the South China Sea nations of Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Brunei that this map offends. It’s also Russia, a nation with which China cherishes a “no limits partnership.”

      As in Ukraine, Russia centers its territorial narratives in an existential vein. And with the coverage this map is now getting in Russian media, it will play to Russian nationalism, anti-Chinese sentiments, and the legitimate Russian fear that Beijing intends to make Moscow its subordinate partner. At a minimum, Xi’s map makes Vladimir Putin look weak.

      In turn, this cartographic fiction reemphasizes the foolish arrogance that so often defines communist China’s diplomacy. Just as Chinese officials often fail to understand their foreign interlocutors, they fail to realize why rude arrogance doesn’t win friends.

      And while a quiet course correction would make sense, because Xi fears the perception of weakness, no such correction is likely.

    Joe Biden’s DOJ is once again attacking President Trump as Jack Smith gears up to indict Trump AGAIN in DC.

    Justice Department prosecutors on Tuesday said in a court filing that Trump’s “daily” statements “threaten to prejudice the jury pool” in Jack Smith’s 2020 election case against Trump in DC.

    Trump’s daily statements defending himself against Biden’s weaponized DOJ are dangerous, but Jack Smith’s prosecutors are allowed to leak to the Washington Post, New York Times, and CNN daily.

    President Trump’s lawyers complained government prosecutors filed a motion under seal without consulting them first. Trump’s lawyers asked to allow a three-week briefing proceeding for Judge Tanya Chutkan to decide whether court filings should be made public.

    Jack Smith’s prosecutors pushed back on Trump’s lawyers on Tuesday and accused them of resorting to dilatory tactics.

    “Such a requirement would grind litigation in this case to a halt, which is particularly infeasible given the pressing matters before the Court — including the defendant’s daily extrajudicial statements that threaten to prejudice the jury pool in this case, as described in the Government’s motion,” prosecutors from Jack Smith’s team wrote.

    Trump’s lawyers filed an emergency motion to vacate. Judge Chutkan ultimately sided with Trump, CNBC reported.

    “Going forward, all motions, including motions for leave to file, must (1) indicate whether the movant has conferred with opposing counsel, and (2) state the nonmovant’s position on the motion, if known,” Chutkan wrote. “As it has done here, the court may require briefing on motions for leave to file under seal on a timeline shorter than the default periods provided for in the Local Criminal Rules”

    CNBC reported:

    Earlier Tuesday, prosecutors from Smith’s office asked Chutkan to be allowed to file a motion in the case that would be sealed from public view.

    The details of that motion are not known, but do contain “sensitive materials,” according to a subsequent court filing.

    Trump’s lawyers later filed an emergency motion asking Chutkan to vacate the prosecutors’ motion, claiming that Smith’s office had not first asked the defense lawyers their opinion on that move, or “otherwise notify Defendant it would be filing the Motion for Leave.”

    Defense lawyers also noted that Chutkan granted Smith’s motion without giving Trump the chance to respond, asking that she allow them “sufficient time to respond to every motion filed in this matter.”

    Smith’s office fired back in another court filing.

    Prosecutors wrote that they had in fact asked Trump’s lawyers for their position on the sealed motion and that they had informed Chutkan of that position.

    The prosecutors also said the filing was consistent with the terms of a protective order previously issued by Chutkan, who told the parties to submit filings under seal if those documents include unredacted “Sensitive Materials.”

    President Trump has been indicted three times (so far) by Jack Smith’s team of rabid prosecutors.

    Trump was indicted on 37 federal counts related to Jack Smith’s classified documents case in Miami in June.

    Trump was charged with 31 counts of willful retention of national defense information and 6 other process crimes stemming from his conversations with his lawyer.

    Last month Jack Smith hit Trump with 3 additional charges in the investigation into classified documents stored at Mar-a-Lago.

    The superseding indictment, filed in the Southern District of Florida, claims Trump was part of a scheme to delete security footage from Mar-a-Lago.

    Earlier this month Trump was hit with 4 counts in Jack Smith’s January 6 case up in DC: Conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
