Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

At this point, Americans who don’t know about this are too willfully ignorant to be taken seriously when expressing an opinion on the future of the Middle East. Indeed, Americans have been targets, such as in the 2022 Hebrew University Cafeteria bombing of the “American table.”

      Kerry isn’t the first person to attempt to undermine the policies of an administration. In the early ’80s, Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-MA) sent a letter to the HEAD of the KGB in what was regarded as an effort to counter President Reagan’s arms build-up and put the Soviet Union “on the ash heap of history.”

      In a 1983 memo addressing the letter, sent by KGB head Viktor Chebrikov to then-Soviet General Secretary Yuri ANDROPOV, Chebrikov explained that Kennedy was eager to “counter the militaristic policies” of Reagan.

      Writes Forbes.com, Kennedy’s message was simple: “…Kennedy would lend ANDROPOV a hand in dealing with President Reagan. In return, the Soviet leader would lend the Democratic Party a hand in challenging Reagan in the 1984 presidential election.

      ‘The only real potential threats to Reagan are problems of war and peace and Soviet-American relations,’ the memorandum stated. ‘These issues, according to the senator, will without a doubt become the most important of the election campaign.’

      “Kennedy then offered to make it possible for ANDROPOV to sit down for a few interviews on American television.

      ‘A direct appeal … to the American people will … attract a great deal of attention and interest in the country. … If the proposal is recognized as worthy, then Kennedy and his friends will bring about suitable steps to have representatives of the largest television companies in the USA contact Y.V. ANDROPOV for an invitation to Moscow for the interviews.”

      Fortunately, Reagan’s policy of “peace through strength” prevailed. Kennedy clearly was in violation of the Logan Act, yet paid no price for his meddling.

    Bud Light continues to see a sales slump following its massive advertising debacle, and it seems as if it might never recover.

    In April, Bud Light partnered with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney for a promotional campaign that drew an immediate backlash and boycott from its customer base, forcing the company to part ways with some of its advertising executives and costing the jobs of hundreds of others.

    At the same time, the boycott has been so brutal that Bud Light’s parent company Anheuser-Busch has seen a massive loss in revenue in the months since the controversy began.

    Bars and liquor stores are struggling to sell Bud Light and even the Fourth of July holiday, which usually sees a surge in beer sales, did next to nothing to help the embattled company.

    The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has reportedly asked Coinbase, America’s largest crypto exchange, to halt trading in all cryptocurrencies other than flagship token Bitcoin.

    Cryptocurrency is a type of digital or virtual currency that uses cryptography for security. Unlike traditional currencies like the US Dollar or Euro, cryptocurrencies are decentralized, meaning they’re not issued or controlled by a central authority such as a government or financial institution.

    Instead, they are governed by technology called blockchain, which is a distributed ledger enforced by a network of computers around the world, according to Investopedia.

    The revelation was made by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, during an interview with the Financial Times.

    As the unsuccessful Ukrainian counteroffensive drags on, the attention of the world starts to focus on a potential new front in the European turmoil: Poland.

    Member of both the European Union and NATO, Poland is worried about its security with both Russian ally Belarus and Ukraine on its eastern border.

    The situation has become more acute ever since Wagner PMC troops arrived in Belarus and positioned themselves near the Polish border.

    “Over 100 mercenaries belonging to the Russian-linked Wagner group in Belarus have moved close to the border with Poland, the Polish prime minister said Saturday.

    • Poles have deployed massive numbers of NATO-armed troops on their border with both Belarus and Ukraine. Belarus fears being surrounded by enemy Baltics, Ukraine, and Poland.

      Putin had to make a VERY public, staged press conference to reassure Lukashenko. He said he was totally committed to the integrity of the Union State.[*]

      But now there’s a problem in Africa. Many countries there depend on Wagner. A couple weeks ago the leaders met in Russia. They were worried about losing the services of their PMC. Putin promised, not to worry, they’ll be there for you.

      Then Niger was hit by a color revolution. That means some of the Wagnerians will have to leave Belarus. Before the Prigozhen Theatrical Performance there were an estimated 50,000 Wagnerians. It’s said that very few took the option of joining the regular RF army.

      We have no idea how many are available now, but their absence from the battlefield in Ukraine is very apparent.

  6. Hunter Biden Accused of Perjury: Claimed Active Connecticut Bar Membership Under Oath Despite Suspension for Unpaid Fees

    Hunter Biden, 53, has been accused of misleading Judge Maryellen Noreika of the Delaware district during a plea hearing last week.

    The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Judge Noreika had rejected the shameless sweetheart plea deal for Hunter Biden. The plea deal had covered Biden’s tax issues from 2014 to 2019, drug use, and a gun charge that were to be pled as two misdemeanors for the tax charges and a diversion on the gun charge.

    During the hearing, Judge Noreika inquired Hunter Biden about his professional credentials and current bar standing.

    “You’re member of the bar?” Noreika asked.

    “Yes, Your Honor,” Hunter said. “District of Columbia & Connecticut, Your Honor.”

    Connecticut records, however, reveal that Biden was suspended from practicing law in the state over two years ago due to non-payment of his $75 annual fees since 2018 and he has not been reinstated.

    The Connecticut Judicial Branch spokesperson confirmed that Biden is “currently not in good standing.”

    The discrepancy was initially spotted by Connecticut lawyer and columnist Kevin Rennie, who brought attention to the matter on his blog, Daily Ructions.

    The outlet reported:

    Biden, according to Judicial Branch spokesperson Melissa Farley in a Friday morning statement, “is currently not in good standing due to Attorney Biden’s failure to register or comply with the Statewide Grievance Committee’s [Minimum Continuing Legal Education] requirement since 2018…and to pay the Client Security Fund fee for 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022….” No disciplinary action has been taken.

    Robert Hunter Biden, a Yale Law School graduate, was admitted to practice in Connecticut in 1997. Like other lawyers admitted in the state, Biden is required to make an annual $75.00 payment to the Client Security Fund. The fund is “established by the rules of the Connecticut Superior Court to provide reimbursement to individuals who have lost money or property as a result of the dishonest conduct of an attorney practicing law in the State of Connecticut, in the course of the attorney-client relationship.”

    Unlike other Connecticut lawyer-related fees, the Client Security Fund fee is imposed on “each judge, judge trial referee, state referee, family support magistrate, family support referee and administrative law judge.” According to the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch website, “An attorney is not exempt from the fee because he or she practices out of state, or because he or she does not actively practice law. Only those attorneys who have retired, resigned, who have served on active duty in the armed forces of the United States for a period of more than six months during the calendar year, or who have been disbarred, are exempt from payment of the fee.”

    The fee may be paid online. The Judicial Branch provides at least one email reminder to lawyers that the $75.00 fee is due each year on or before June 15th.

    In a conversation with Daily Mail, Rennie, a former state legislator who voted for Biden in 2020, called Hunter’s statement to the judge “extraordinary” and claimed that Biden “misled the court”.

    “I’m careful about using the word ‘lie’ because I don’t know what was in his head. But he certainly should have known better,” he said.

    “A lawyer who is asked under oath where he is admitted to practice and does not include in his response that he is suspended from practice in one of them has misled the court,” he added.

    “‘He did not give her an answer that, I think most judges would see under these circumstances, was in good faith. It omitted crucial facts.”

    “Clearly he thought he was admitted to the practice in Connecticut. He ought to know, after 26 years, that certain obligations come with that. And they are by no means onerous,” said Rennie.

    “It’s only $75,’ Rennie told Daily Mail, adding, ‘The Judicial Branch, they’re very good about reminding people that they need to pay by June 15. So I was surprised.”

    “I was also surprised that given what we all assume he’s paying in legal fees, that someone at the law firm representing him would have just checked the box to make sure everything was as it should be – such as ‘You paid the $75, didn’t you?”

    Contrarily, his registration with the Washington, D.C. bar indicates that he is currently in good standing there.

    Freshman Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL) was admitted to a hospital this weekend after her face suddenly went numb, according to a statement released Monday night. Britt was sent home after doctors determined the numbness was likely caused by a “post-viral infection.” Recovery should take “several weeks.” Britt, 41 years-old, was sworn in to office on January 3, 2023 after winning election in November 2022.

    While with my family in Montgomery this past weekend, I experienced a sudden onset of numbness in my face. I was admitted to Baptist Medical Center South for evaluation. Doctors determined my symptoms were a result of swelling of a facial nerve, most likely caused by a post-viral infection. A specialist at UAB looked at Britt as an outpatient and concurred with the prognosis and course of treatment. My condition is not life-threatening and recovery could take several weeks. I am grateful for the medical professionals providing excellent care, and my family and I are deeply grateful for your prayers.”

    The Missouri Democrat Party openly called to burn down the homes of Trump supporters.

    Jon Cooper, a Biden/Obama lackey on Monday tweeted a photo of a home decorated with pro-Trump signs.

    “What would you do if this was your next-door neighbor?” he asked in the caption.

    The Missouri Democrat Party responded by calling for the home to be burned down.

    “The roof, the roof is on [fire emoji] we don’t need no water, let the “insert your word” burn!” the official account of the Missouri Democrat party said in a since-deleted tweet in response to Jon Cooper.

    Donald Trump Jr. weighed in on the Missouri Democrat Party’s terroristic threat.

    “No big deal, just the official account of the Missouri Democrat Party openly calling to burn down the homes of Trump supporters.” Don Jr. said.

    Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s longtime friend and business associate, appeared before the House Oversight Committee on Monday to testify on the Biden Crime Family – and he did not disappoint!

    Here are some key takeaways from Devon Archer’s testimony per the House Oversight Committee:

    When Joe Biden was Vice President of the United States, he joined Hunter Biden’s dinners with his foreign business associates in person or by speakerphone over 20 times.
    Devon Archer testified that the value of adding Hunter Biden to Burisma’s board was “the brand” and confirmed that then-Vice President Joe Biden was “the brand” and that the 20 phone calls were to sell “the brand.”
    Devon Archer admitted that “Burisma would have gone out of business if ‘the brand’ had not been attached to it.” Because of the Bidens’ involvement, people would have been intimidated to mess with Burisma legally.
    In December 2015, Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of Burisma, and Vadym Pozharski, an executive of Burisma, placed constant pressure on Hunter Biden to get help from D.C. regarding the Ukrainian prosecutor, Viktor Shokin. Shokin was investigating Burisma for corruption.
    Hunter Biden, along with Zlochevsky and Pozharski, “called D.C.” to discuss the matter. Biden, Zlochevsky, and Pozharski stepped away to make the call. This raises concerns that Hunter Biden was in violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
    Joe Biden was dialed into a dinner in Paris with a French energy company and in China with Jonathan Li, the CEO of BHR. Then-VP Biden also had coffee with Li in Beijing and even wrote a letter of recommendation for college for Li’s daughter.
    Archer confirmed Joe Biden was referred to as “my guy” by Hunter Biden.
    In 2014, then-VP Biden attended a business dinner with Hunter & his associates at Café Milano in D.C. Elena Baturina, a Russian oligarch who is the widow of the former mayor of Moscow, was an attendee. Notably, the Biden Admin’s public sanctions do not contain Baturina.
    Jonathan Turley appeared on Fox News to discuss Archer’s damning testimony.

    “This is shaping up to be one of the greatest corruption scandals in the history of Washington, and that is saying a lot,” Turley told Fox anchor Neil Cavuto.

    Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) issued a statement on the new indictment by Special Counsel Jack Smith against President Trump that accuses him of contesting the results of the 2020 presidential election and lobbying state officials and Congress.

    • President Biden spoke with Hunter’s business associates over 20 times (contradicting what Biden previously claimed)
    • Biden’s DOJ tried to secretly give Hunter broad immunity and admitted the sweetheart deal was unprecedented

    And just yesterday a new poll showed President Trump is without a doubt Biden’s leading political opponent.

    Everyone in America could see what was going to come next: DOJ’s attempt to distract from the news and attack the frontrunner for the Republican nomination, President Trump.
