Special Counsel Jack Smith leaked another report to The New York Times on Wednesday night.
This comes after the House Oversight Committee produced $17 million in bank receipts and witness testimony in the Biden Family bribery, corruption, and influence peddling schemes with foreign regimes.
Jack Smith is likely to use the same Civil War Civil Rights Violation that Merrick Garland and the DOJ have been using to send January 6 protesters to prison for years for non-violent crimes.
Again, this leak was reported Wednesday night after the damning testimony from this afternoon.
Federal prosecutors have introduced a new twist into the Jan. 6 investigation by suggesting in a target letter that they could charge former President Donald J. Trump with violating a civil rights statute that dates back to the post-Civil War Reconstruction era, according to three people familiar with the matter.
The letter to Mr. Trump from the special counsel, Jack Smith, referred to three criminal statutes as part of the grand jury investigation into Mr. Trump’s efforts to reverse his 2020 election loss, according to two people with knowledge of its contents. Two of the statutes were familiar from the criminal referral by the House Jan. 6 committee and months of discussion by legal experts: conspiracy to defraud the government and obstruction of an official proceeding.
But the third criminal law cited in the letter was a surprise: Section 241 of Title 18 of the United States Code, which makes it a crime for people to “conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person” in the “free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States.”
Congress enacted that statute after the Civil War to provide a tool for federal agents to go after Southern whites, including Ku Klux Klan members, who engaged in terrorism to prevent formerly enslaved African Americans from voting. But in the modern era, it has been used more broadly, including in cases of voting fraud conspiracies.
The Gateway Pundit spoke with DC Attorney Marina Medvin in April 2023. Marina represents several J6 defendants. Medvin described the unusual use of this Civil War Era law to use on protesters on January 6. It is unprecedented.
The lawless Biden DOJ is currently using the charge to put peaceful protesters in prison for up to 20 years.
Marina Medvin: There are four misdemeanors everyone is charged with, and those are trespass-related misdemeanors. And then there’s a felony, 1512.(c)(2) It’s a felony obstruction of Congress charge… It’s not a charge we’ve seen charged in these types of cases ever. I think if you would have spoken to an attorney before this happened, whether they thought 1512 c two would apply, they would probably say, no, I’ve never seen a charge… If you look at that code section, it has to do with documents and altering documents. It has nothing to do with actually going in and protesting. We’ve got misdemeanors for that. So be charged with these misdemeanors. But no, now I don’t think you’d be charged with that felony. And then all of a sudden, we started seeing this felony being charged with people who just went in, took selfies just in the capitol building, didn’t touch documents or do anything with those documents. And you’ve got a lot of those people charged with 1512(c)(2) s. That’s a felony up to 20 years in prison.
The 1512.(c)2 charge the government is applying to all of the Trump supporters is more serious than assaulting a law enforcement official. Now Jack Smith is threatening to use this against President Trump.

Senator Chuck Grassley on Thursday released the FBI document showing Joe Biden was involved in a $5 million bribery scheme with Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky.
The FD-1023 form alleged then-Vice President Joe Biden FORCED Zlochevsky, a Ukrainian oligarch, to pay himself and his son Hunter Biden a total of $10 million.
According to the document, Biden’s bribery arrangement was described as “poluchili,” which is Russian crime slang for being “forced or coerced to pay.”

The House Oversight Committee led by James Comer (R-KY) held a hearing with IRS whistleblowers on Wednesday.
During the hearing, a radical Democrat Congressman threw a childish tantrum while making a remark that should send chills down the spines of every conservative American.
Fox News reported that Kweisi Mfume (D-Md) lost it while the whistleblowers detailed how the corrupt FBI and DOJ urged them to end the investigation of Joe and Hunter Biden. He ended up tearing up his remarks in a fit of anger.
As the Gateway Pundit previously reported, the two IRS whistleblowers, Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, revealed that two Biden U.S.-appointed attorneys blocked charges against Hunter.
Ziegler during his testimony also revealed the Biden Crime Family received $17 million from foreign countries including China and Romania.
This proven corruption did not faze Mfume, though. The real victims are the FBI, IRS, and DOJ which have protected the Biden Crime Family.
Here were Mfume’s relevant remarks during his disturbing tirade:

While much of the focus will be on Mfume tearing up his remarks, his comments about the DOJ, FBI, and IRS deserve special attention. These are the same agencies targeting conservative moms for protesting X-rated filth and critical race theory in their children’s classrooms, jailing peaceful protesters for objecting to election results, trying to jail a former President, and much more.
This is happening while leftists committing actual crimes are getting slaps on the wrist. Mfume is defending this corrupt system and wants to make it permanent in America.

Judge Aileen Cannon smacked down Special Counsel Jack Smith this week and denied his request to speed up the sharing of classified documents.
Jack Smith on Monday sought a classified protective order ahead of a hearing this week in the classified documents case to ‘avoid further delay.’
Jack Smith’s prosecutors asked the court to limit Trump’s access to classified materials related to the case.
Judge Cannon, a Trump appointee, dismissed without prejudice Jack Smith’s motion.

A federal judge handed a defeat to prosecutors who indicted former President Donald Trump over his alleged mishandling of classified documents, denying a request Tuesday to speed up the sharing of evidence with the defense.
Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed without prejudice special counsel Jack Smith’s motion to compel a response from Trump’s legal team about a protective order for disclosing classified evidence in the case, court filings show, with the jurist citing a “lack of meaningful conferral” between the two sides.
Prosecutors Jay Bratt, David Harbach and Julie Edelstein appeared in the courtroom opposite Trump attorneys Christopher Kise, Todd Blanche and Stanley Woodward, who is representing the former president’s valet Walt Nauta.
Special Counsel Jack Smith recently indicted Trump on 37 federal counts in Miami.
Trump was charged with 31 counts of willful retention of national defense information and 6 other process crimes stemming from his conversations with his lawyer.
Walt Nauta, a Mar-a-Lago aide, was indicted along with President Trump as a co-conspirator.
Judge Cannon set the trial date for August 14 but Trump’s lawyers asked to indefinitely postpone the trial.
Justice Department lawyers on Thursday filed a motion pushing back on Trump’s legal team and asked the Judge to proceed with jury selection on December 11, 2023.

The Biden first family seems determined to confirm every stereotype of their antisocial behavior—to the point of dysfunctionality.
During the 2020 campaign at least eight women alleged that then presidential candidate Joe Biden in the past had serially and improperly touched, kissed or grabbed them.
One, Tara Reade alleged she was sexually assaulted by Biden, who denied the charge.
Yet Biden himself finally was forced to apologize for some of his behavior. Or as he said at the time, “I get it.”
He claimed that he would no longer improperly invade the “private space” of women and had meant no harm.
But Biden’s obnoxious conduct extended well beyond the eight accusers.
Women as diverse as former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, and Biden’s own daughter-in-law Kathleen Buhle, have both alleged in their memoirs that Biden made them feel uncomfortable through his intrusive touching and embraces.
On several occasions, Biden developed a strange tic of becoming too physical with young girls. He habitually attempted to hug them while blowing in their hair.
His daughter Ashley wrote in her diary that she feared her past adolescent showers with her father had been inappropriate. Even as president, Biden has weirdly called out young girls in his audiences to note their attractiveness.
On one occasion, the president interrupted his speech to address a female acquaintance—enlightening the crowd that, “We go back a long way. She was 12 and I was 30, but anyway…”
As a result, Biden has likely been warned repeatedly to forgo intimate references to young women.
He has no doubt also been advised by his handlers to stop all close, supposedly innocent contact with young girls and children—if for no other reason than to prevent his political opponents from charging that Joe is “creepy,” “perverse,” or “sick.”
And yet like some addict, Biden cannot stop—regardless of the eerie image he projects around the world.
Last week, the president jumped the proverbial shark by embracing a young child in a crowd while on the tarmac of the Helsinki, Finland airport.
In his strangest act yet, Biden kept moving his mouth near the face of the young girl. He was apparently trying to nibble the youngster, almost in turkey-gobbling fashion.
She recoiled.
No matter—Biden continued at her shoulder.
Again, she flinched.
Biden then reverted to form, and sought with a second try to smell her hair and nestle closer.
Had any other major politician in the age of #MeToo committed such an unnerving stunt, he would likely have been ostracized by colleagues and mercilessly hammered by the media.
Not in Biden’s case.
The apparent media subtext was that it was either just “Old Joe” trying to be too friendly, or a symptom of his cognitive decline and thus not attributable to any sinister urge.
Senescence now provides paradoxical cover for Biden’s creepiness—newfound exemption for his old boorish behavior.
Also, during the President’s latest antics, cocaine was found in the West Wing of the White House.
All the White House spokespeople had to do was to reassure the public that the drugs most certainly did not belong to first son Hunter Biden—despite being a frequent guest resident of the White House and a former crack-cocaine addict.
Instead, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dismissed reporters for requesting such clarification.
Then the official narrative went through several contortions, as to where and how the bag of cocaine was found.
The disinformation only added suspicion that the White House either would not or could not be transparent about the discovery of illicit drugs abandoned at the very nexus of American governance.
Requests for clarity were understandable not just because Hunter has had a long history of drug addiction.
He also has a troubling habit of leaving a public trail of evidence of his drug use.
Hunter forgot his crack pipe in a rental car. He abandoned his laptop that contained evidence of his own felonious behavior. And his unlawfully registered handgun turned up in a dumpster near a school.
In sum, the President and his son both have quite disturbing and all-too public bad habits.
Americans in response assume both would be careful not to offer the tiniest shred of evidence that their pathologies continue.
White House handlers should keep Joe Biden from even getting near small children and young women.
And they should be just as unambiguous that Hunter Biden has never, and would never, even get too close to illicit drugs while inside the White House.
Sadly they can do neither.
These suspicions are force multipliers of the mounting evidence of Biden family corruption. They feed narratives of heartlessness about disowning a granddaughter born out of wedlock. And they add to worries of presidential senility.
The result is the caricature of a first family: one that is utterly dysfunctional—and increasingly detrimental to the country at large.

Almost 16 million trees have been chopped down on publicly owned land in Scotland to make way for wind farms, an SNP minister had admitted amid a major drive to erect more turbines.
Mairi Gougeon, the Rural Affairs Secretary, estimated that 15.7 million trees had been felled since 2000 in land that is currently managed by agency Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) – the equivalent of more than 1,700 per day.

House Democrats have voted to censor and remove presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during a hearing that was ironically convened to discuss censorship issues.
The Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government held a hearing on Thursday, July 20, 2023. The hearing will examine the federal government’s role in censoring Americans, the Missouri v. Biden case, and Big Tech’s collusion with out-of-control government agencies to silence speech.
During the hearing, Deborah Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) put forward a motion to censor Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to censor him to speak about censorship.
“I move that we remove into executive session because Mr. Kennedy has repeatedly made despicable, antisemitic, and anti-Asian comments as recently as last week.”

Did the truth hit too close to home for one of America’s most infamous perverts?
Former Congressman Anthony Weiner is best known for his proclivities toward young girls and went to prison for sending sexually explicit texts to a 15-year-old female.
Weiner is also known for being close to the Clinton family. He infamously married Hillary’s former aide Huma Abedin back in 2010 and had son with her. They separated in 2017.
Weiner went on Iranian-American entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David’s podcast this morning and the host confronted him with a list of dead people who had been previously associated with the Clintons.
This list is known as the Clinton Body Count.
Once Bet-David queried Weiner about why the Clintons have this reputation of death following them, Weiner had what is being accurately described as an unhinged meltdown. He also tried to bully the host in the process.
Bet-David did not back down and punched back just as hard.

Following the Supreme Court ruling against affirmative-action programs, 13 state attorneys general sent a letter to all Fortune 100 companies to put them on notice that racial discrimination is not only wrong but illegal.
The AGs’ rationale is simple: Discrimination on the basis of skin color is habitual among America’s largest companies, but under both state and federal law, it is also illegal.
For example, the attorneys general cite reports demonstrating that “racial quotas and other explicitly race-based practices in recruitment, hiring, promotion, and/or contracting” have been adopted by banks, consulting firms, and tech companies on and off the Fortune 100 list, including “Airbnb, Apple, Cisco, Facebook, Google, Intel, Lyft, Microsoft, Netflix, Paypal, Snapchat, TikTok, Uber, and others.”

Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino appeared on Newsmax on Wednesday to discuss the Biden White House cocaine scandal with host Eric Bolling.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the Secret Service closed its investigation into the Biden White House cocaine scandal without conducting any interviews.
The Secret Service recently concluded its investigation into the cocaine scandal that rocked the White House earlier this month.
No suspect was identified and the Secret Service didn’t interview any of the more than 500 potential culprits.
GOP Congressman Tim Burchett said the Secret Service destroyed all the DNA evidence after they blew up the baggy of cocaine.
Dan Bongino told Eric Bolling about a phone call he received from a ‘friend’ on the inside who offered up a different scenario.
“Let’s just say a friend called me up and said, ‘Don’t preclude the possibility that the cocaine found in the White House there was not accidentally left behind.’ In other words, it was left there deliberately for someone to find, and let’s just say someone else may have found it. So that’s the story I kind of heard from someone who may know a little something about something. We’ll see what happens, but they know who it is. I’m sure of it,” Bongino said.
Bongino went on to discuss that it would have been almost impossible to bring cocaine into the White House, put it in a cubby, and not leave behind some kind of evidence like DNA or fingerprints.

The weaponization of federal law enforcement, if it continues, is going to delegitimize the 2024 election before a single ballot is cast.
The news that President Joe Biden’s Justice Department might soon indict and arrest former President Donald Trump over the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol should terrify all Americans, regardless of their political beliefs.
Put bluntly, if Biden’s DOJ arrests Trump, the president’s main political rival heading into the 2024 election, it will trigger a political and electoral crisis unlike any America has ever faced. It’s not too much to say that such a move would not only imperil the upcoming presidential election but the republic itself. Jailing political rivals is what happens in tinpot dictatorships like Nicaragua, where President Daniel Ortega’s political rivals often find themselves arrested and imprisoned on charges of treason.
Now it appears it could happen here. On Tuesday, Trump said he had received a letter informing him he is a target of the federal criminal investigation of Jan. 6 being led by Special Counsel Jack Smith. In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump explained he was given the letter on Sunday and that Smith gave him just four days to report to the grand jury, “which almost always means an Arrest and Indictment,” Trump wrote.
This is the second target letter Trump has received from Smith. The first one came in June, in connection with the unprecedented FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home last year over classified documents. Days later, Trump was charged with dozens of criminal counts relating to seven different federal laws governing the handling of classified material. (Recall that classified documents, some of them top secret and dating back at least six years, were also found in President Joe Biden’s garage and at his “think tank” in Washington, D.C., last November through January. Rest assured Biden will never be indicted over it.)
Trump and others have rightly denounced this as the weaponization of federal law enforcement and the criminalization of political differences. It’s also just a naked attempt to rig the 2024 election in Biden’s favor. As Tucker Carlson has said, “They’re trying to take Trump out before you can vote for him, and that should upset you more than anything that’s happened in American politics in your lifetime.”
That’s not an overstatement. If this scheme works, if Biden’s DOJ succeeds in taking Trump out ahead of 2024 on bogus charges related to Jan. 6, it’s hard to see how we can ever have a normal election again in this country, how the outcome of any future election will be seen as legitimate.
Forget about the stalwart Trump voters who claim 2020 was stolen. If Biden’s DOJ throws Trump in prison, Ortega-style, for a crime the U.S. Senate already acquitted him of, there’ll be a whole new constituency of voters who will claim, rightly, that 2024 has been preemptively stolen.
Indeed, Biden’s Justice Department under Attorney General Merrick Garland might be badly overplaying its hand here, unintentionally swelling the ranks of Americans who might not love Trump but absolutely loathe the way federal law enforcement has been deployed against him and his supporters from the moment he won office in 2016.
Between the Russia-collusion hoax, two bogus impeachments, and a litany of outrageous indictments, Trump’s enemies in Washington are earning him sympathy from ordinary American people, who can recognize injustice and abuse of power when they see it.
They can also recognize what by now is obvious. There are two standards of justice in America: one for establishment insiders like Biden and his corrupt family, and one for outsider politicians like Trump that dissent from the permanent regime in Washington and try to disrupt it.
Maybe that doesn’t matter to Biden and Garland and those in power. Maybe they feel like, after 2020, they don’t even need to be seen as legitimate by half the country in order to rule, and they’re willing to do anything to defeat Trump. But they’re kidding themselves if they think they can simply take Trump out by arresting and indicting him, and then move onward into the 2024 cycle as if everything is fine.
Their weaponization of federal law enforcement, if it continues, is going to delegitimize the 2024 election before a single ballot is cast. And at that point, we’re all going to have a huge problem on our hands.
