Nearly 1,000% More Covid Cases in Public Service After Vaccine Mandate, Labour Board Hears
Federal Public Service employees put on leave without pay for refusing mandatory Covid-19 vaccination told a labour tribunal that infections in the workforce rose 10 fold after the mandate was implemented, citing the government’s own data.
“Why did people become sick in such great numbers in the public service if they were immunized”?, asked Bernard Desgagne, who represents 2 employees whose files are being adjudicated by the Federal Public Sector Labour and Employment Board.
The board is currently hearing its first case related to grievances from the public servants whose salaries were withheld and employment insurance benefits denied for not complying with the vaccine mandates, which was in effect from October 2021 – June 2022.
Mr. Desgagne, a public servant himself and not a lawyer, put the question to Dr. Celia Lourenco who was being cross-examined on July 13. Dr. Lourenco, currently the acting associate assistant deputy minister with Health Canada was formerly the department’s director-general of the Biologic and Radiopharmaceutical Drugs Directorate and as such had final say on new vaccine approvals during the Covid crisis.
Mr. Desgagne presented official data that before the mandate was imposed, the government had tallied on average 321 cases of Covid-19 infections per month among the public sector.
After the mandate came into force, that number jumped to 3297 cases per month, a 10 fold increase, or almost a 1,000 %. Some of the government’s data presented comes with the caveat that the “total number of cases may not reflect an accurate count due to the lack of availability of tests”.
Mr. Desgagne remarked that all the public servants were vaccinated, “so why such a huge number of people got sick with Covid”?
Dr. Lourenco said she wasn’t aware of that data and did not express an opinion on it. She said it would be a question for an epidemiologist to look at, by evaluating what variant was circulating or where the employees were located. “I wouldn’t know otherwise why that would be, why you’re seeing these numbers”, she said.
Shortly after the mandate came into force in October 2021, the Omicrom variant became dominate and Covid-19 injections offered little protection. The government’s own data contained in a now-public, secret briefing said that the vaccines protected against infection was 20% or less in most studies by 6 months or more after vaccination.
Quebec provincial data also showed that the vaccinated individuals were getting infected at a higher rate in early January 2022 and Ontario data showed higher infection rates in individuals who received booster dose in the spring. Quebec stopped publishing the data in early January 2022 and Ontario stopped reporting on vaccination statuses in late June of 2022.

Mr. Desgagne pressed Dr. Lauren by noting she had testified that in order to surveil the product she had approved, she was constantly appraised by the Public Heath Agency of Canada of what was being observed in the field.
They should have made you aware of that increase in infections after mandatory mass vaccination”, he said.
“This is not a scientific study” replied Dr. Lourenco, adding that “raw data only tells a small part of the story. Without more information, conclusions cannot be drawn”, she said.
Mr. Desgagne set up his line of questioning by addressing the issue of breakthrough infections through the presentation of different studies.
He cited on study published by the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in August of 2021 about breakthrough infections in Massachusetts, the paper said that 469 cases were identified among residents of the state who had attended public events in Barnstable County, with 74% of cases occurring in fully vaccinated individuals.
Dr Lourenco said she wasn’t aware of the study but she knew about breakthrough infections.
Shortly after publication the CDC study, Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau announced that he would fulfill his campaign promise and impose vaccination mandates on the public service and federal regulated sectors.
“The top priority remains, getting everyone their vaccine”, he said in late September 2021 after winning the election. “Getting vaccination rates up is the only way to ensure not only we’re keeping our loved ones safe, but we’re keeping our health systems from getting overloaded, we’re keeping away from having to do further lockdowns in our communities, and we’re allowing our economy and normal life to get back as quickly as possible”.
Dr. Lauren was cross-examined in relation to the travel vaccine mandate lawsuit in June 2022, and at that time she said the vaccines would never been approved had they shown their current effectiveness to be less than 50% against infection. The health official said they’re kept on the market for their protection against severe outcomes.
She acknowledged on July 13 , that an increase in cases, as seen during the vaccine mandate period and the first Omicron wave, necessarily, leads to more hospitalizations.

A political gaffe was defined by Michael Kinsley as, “A gaffe is when a politician tells the truth–some obvious truth he isn’t supposed to say.”
Kamala’s was a doozy: “When we invest in clean energy and electric vehicles and reduce population, more of our children can breath clean air and drink clean water.”
Just as concerning as Harris saying the quiet part out loud is the raucous cheers and applause by those in attendance.
The White House posted a transcript of Harris’ remarks that clarified what she was supposed to say: “reduce pollution.”

It’s been every day for the last couple of weeks. It is the lead story. I think we finally, at least in our progress, come to the point that most people can no longer deny it because it is so obvious.

Here in Baltimore, you have seen your skies darkened by wildfire smoke. And you have seen the waters of the Chesapeake Bay rise, threatening homes and businesses that have stood for generations.

…And so, we set an ambitious goal to cut our greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030 and to reach net-zero emissions by 2050. As Ukraine’s manpower on its frontlines starts to dwindle, military leaders are becoming increasingly desperate to locate new recruits to propel its counteroffensive against Russia forward; however, the number of young people volunteering for such a challenge has plummeted.
Recent videos of young Ukrainian men being conscripted across the country have circulated in popular encrypted messaging apps in Ukraine, and those fearful of being sent to the front are actively engaging in evasive and, in some instances, illegal tactics to avoid such a fate.
The brutal mobilization by Ukrainian military recruitment officers of young men has been occurring for a year and a half now, Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet reports.
“Many conscripted men are taken straight off the street by uniformed men,” it states. “Most recently in Subcarpathia, a surveillance camera recorded the overreach of the authorities as a man trying to go to a store was kidnapped from his bicycle in broad daylight.”
The man was abducted right on a street during the day by police and conscription officers in a small village in the Municipal District of Munkács, with his bicycle left in the road.

Multiple explosions and fires occurred at the Dow Chemical Plant in Plaquemine, Louisiana, late Friday night.
Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi revealed to local news station WBRZ that six distinct explosions were detected at the plant around 9:30 p.m. on Friday. Witnesses from the surrounding areas managed to capture videos of massive flames and reported feeling the shockwave from the powerful blasts.

Florida County GOP Declares COVID-19 and mRNA COVID Vaccine a ‘Bioweapon’

The Brevard County Republican Executive Committee (BREC) has passed a resolution in a landslide vote to ban the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, deeming it and the virus a “biological and technological weapon.”
The committee is now soliciting support from registered Republicans in the county, state lawmakers, Florida’s Congressional delegation, and Governor Ron DeSantis.
CBS12 News obtained a copy of the letter, which was sent to hundreds of registered Republicans in Brevard County for their consideration. Byram Bridle -graduate training at the University of Guelph, post doctoral training at McMaster, a Viral Immunologist, a tenured Professor at the University of Guelph, has launched a $3 million lawsuit against the University, a number of other faculty and other individuals.
On December 19, Dr. Bridle launched the lawsuit with Ontario Superior Coirt of Justice seeking a total of $3 million, according to court documents.
He has been like so many others worldwide an ,outspoken individual against the Covid-19 mandates, including one implemented at the University of Guelph in 2021.
Court documents say he was appointed as an independent researcher and faculty member in 2012. he was awarded tenure in 2017.
Bridle is also seeking a permanent injunction to allow him to “freely” be present at the University campus and in part at his lab and office, in the Pathobiology Building, without conditions or interferences from the University to pursue his work.

Conservatives have engaged in a very successful boycott of Bud Light over the company’s blatant political agenda, but now it looks like the left has found its own boycott target after famed fast food giant In-N-Out Burger has made them mad.
The fast food giant has garnered the ire of the left by telling employees that the coronavirus crisis is over and there is no longer a reason to wear masks in the workplace.
Frankly, why shouldn’t the burger behemoth? There are no reputable studies that show masking prevents the transmission of viruses. Masks just don’t work.
