This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

  2. Yesterday I posted a poem but slightly missed my mark. While discussing it with a friend he reminded me of the Aspen. The Aspen forest appears to be made up of many individual trees. My poem would have been stronger had I used the Aspen to describe how all the lines of effort we are subjected to are, in fact, the same tree. You see, the Aspen has an extensive root system that connects each one to the other. So like the Aspen forest, Maoist/Marxist lines of effort such as climate change, the pandemic, transgenderism, the Ukraine war, and whatever other mass hysterical event coming our way may appear unique but are, in fact, only aspects of a single revolution or, in tree terms, organism. Further, each line of effort is, necessarily, so absorbing in its own right that it distracts from the revolution. The longer people squabble over the details of any single line of effort the more time there is to evolve the revolution. This is the significance of seeing the forest for the trees, however imprecisely I may have expressed it. Thank you friend.

  4. A good example of the danger of narrow focus is shown by the following.

    The other day a talking head on OAN was upset that Nikkie Hally had said that the most dangerous part of the old Roe v Wade decision was how it converted a States Right into a Federal Right. The talking head couldn’t understand how that precedent would over the long run kill more people then abortion does.

    Another example is the people who don’t see the Century + effort to destroy the Second Amendment is tied to the current attacks on the First and Fourth Amendments.

    Way too many people don’t understand that leftist goal of a living Constitution where the restriction on the Government change with the change in societal shifts is a Constitution that protects nothing.

    As of today, Friday, the Title 42 border protection order has officially expired, and the United States is preparing for a record-breaking flood of illegal immigrants at the southern border.

    On Thursday, independent journalist Tayler Hansen shared a video on Twitter showing illegal aliens using U.S. taxpayer-funded cell phones after they were given court dates.

    In 2022, the Biden regime reportedly issued over 300,000 smartphones to illegal aliens as part of the “Alternatives to Detention Program (ATD).

    According to ICE, smartphones cost taxpayers $361,218.08 per day, per ABC News.

    U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) claimed the phones’ facial recognition, GPS tracking, and voice-identifying features are used to keep track of new illegal immigrants while they wait for their court dates.

    According to Hansen, some of the illegal immigrants’ court dates reportedly won’t be until 2027.

    New York Post reported that some illegal immigrants were given court dates set as late as 2032 and 2035 in Chicago and Florida.

    Some illegal immigrants, according to freelance photojournalist Rebecca Brannon, have been handed bus tickets to the state where they have a sponsor or family member currently living.

    The Gateway Pundit reported Thursday that a federal judge blocked the Biden regime from releasing migrants without setting court dates.

    This comes after the Biden regime sent out a lawless memo allowing illegal invaders to run wild inside the country on parole.

    Blocking the releases, according to the Biden regime, would result in “catastrophic” numbers for CBP, with 45,000 migrants in custody by the end of the month.

    One would think that multi-billion dollar conglomerates could take one look at the ongoing malaise of Bud Light and parent company Anheuser-Busch and notice the perils of overt LGBT advertising.

    One would be dead wrong based on the gay pride line of merchandise that retail titan Target has been promoting in-store and online.

    A quick look at the company’s website shows an entire section dedicated to “PRIDE,” and it’s the rainbow-drenched drivel that you’d expect.

    Only, this might actually be worse than whatever nonsense Bud Light is peddling and it might be high time for conservatives to push back on another massive brand.

    To wit, Bud Light and Anheuser-Busch have been the target of a concerted and effective boycott effort, spearheaded by conservatives, who were furious that the beer was working with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

    It was a swift and visceral response to swathes of Americans being sick and tired of being told that men can be women with some make-up and mutilation.

    As wrong and sickening as Bud Light’s tacit approval of transgender nonsense is, at least that’s a product that’s not aimed at children.

    If an adult male comes to the disturbed conclusion that they’re actually a woman, that’s a mental issue to deal with on their own time.

    But how does an adult reach that point?

    By being bombarded by LGBT propaganda anytime mom needs to pick up some groceries from Target.

    There’s an entire section dedicated for pride apparel meant for kids and babies. That is so wrong and backwards, it’s hard to know where to begin.

    The absolute most divisive issue a child that age should be grappling with is who would win in a fight between Superman and Godzilla. It should not be about subverting God’s natural order of creation.

    And it’s not just clothes.

    You know how else Target is going to expose your young ones to LGBT propaganda? Through jewelry, pet accessories, party supplies, books, music and movies.

    And this isn’t just some prudish hand-wringing.

    The first thing when you go to look at LGBT music and movies?

    An album for Sam Smith, who’s only the satanic degenerate that insists on existing in various states of undress, is right there being pushed to children.

    This sort of stuff matters, especially when it comes to young, impressionable minds.

    So yes. Bud Light and Anheuser-Busch are deservedly getting everything they deserve for giving credence to transgenderism and influencers like Mulvaney.

    But it can’t be understated that people like Mulvaney are a direct result of the constant, subliminal propaganda bombardment from the most innocuous of things, like going shopping at Target.

    Being perceived as anti–working class is a cardinal sin in American politics. Working-class people are seen as the unappreciated engine of American growth. Hillary Clinton discovered this lesson when she was criticized for calling Donald Trump supporters a “basket of deplorables.” But interestingly, expressing contempt for the upper class is quite tolerable.

    Rich people are frequently ridiculed by comedians and depicted as snobs in popular culture. Shows like SpongeBob SquarePants and The Simpsons present affluent characters in an unflattering light. Such characters are seldom portrayed as virtuous entrepreneurs who are rewarded for delivering value. Usually, viewers are led to think that the rich are the source of all social ills.

    Typically, negative depictions of working class or poor people would evoke controversy, but upward classism is tolerated. Sociologist Rainer Zitelmann has written extensively on upward classism and the rich in public opinion. Zitelmann’s research covers how rich people are viewed in Western countries, and his findings are unsurprising.

    According to the results of Zitelmann’s study, rich people, like other minority groups, are often scapegoats who are blamed for social malaise. However, he observes that the perception of the wealthy is determined by education. In Germany, England, and America, better-educated people have a more favorable view of the rich. A possible explanation is that educated people have higher incomes and are connected to the rich, so their views are more realistic and less tainted by stereotypes.

    Their education also makes it easier for them to appreciate the significance of the rich in creating value for society. Social enviers, by contrast, have warped perceptions of the rich. Zitelmann documents that such people assign negative traits to the wealthy. Because their views are shaped by a zero-sum mentality, envious people think that when some gain others must lose.

    Ordinary people benefit tremendously from the inventions of the ambitious and intellectually gifted. The ingenuity of oilman John Davis Rockefeller made the American economy more productive in the nineteenth century, and today our lives are made more convenient by the efficiencies of tech companies like Amazon and Google. Without the traits of the rich, we would lack modern innovations.

    But unfortunately, most people don’t differentiate the progressive rich who accumulate wealth by delivering value for society from those who increase their wealth by relying on government subsidies or political connections. Hence, we are primarily concerned with the value creators and their attributes that culminate in the formation of dynamic businesses.

    In undertaking his study, Zitelmann found that the rich are high in conscientiousness and openness to experiences. Other studies assert that rich people have a great propensity for risk. Most rich people are entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs suffer from high failure rates, so this indicates that people who excel in business are not just competent but also perseverant.

    The average person is not as tenacious as entrepreneurs who establish dynamic businesses that positively transform living standards. Essentially, wealth is the reward for providing value to society. Instead of demonizing the rich, people ought to be thanking them for enriching society with useful skills.

    However, when envy is pervasive in society, rich people downplay their success to thwart backlash. The downside of doing so is that success is vilified rather than embraced. Societal progress is driven by the passion of ambitious people, and it will come to a halt when the most competent people are demotivated to succeed.

    Zitelmann noticed in his study that countries like America and England with a lower share of envious people have a relatively higher proportion of millionaires. This is expected because in less envious countries, the success of the rich motivates others to achieve. Economic studies corroborate Zitelmann’s conclusion that the zero-sum mentality of envious people saps industrial progress.

    One study notes that economic equality fails to mitigate the effects of zero-sum thinking because the possibility of some people becoming more successful can reinforce zero-sum thinking. Redistributing wealth won’t prevent the value-destroying consequences of envious behavior.

    The zero-sum mindset that fuels envy will only be diminished when societies promote economic freedom to afford more opportunities to generate wealth.

    When people are free to prosper, they become less likely to engender a zero-sum approach to development and more appreciative of success because it’s now a greater possibility. Rather than wealth redistribution, the solution to envy is progress powered by economic freedom.

  14. Most COVID-19 Deaths May Be The Result of a Completely Different Infection

    COVID-19 is no longer classed as a global health emergency by the World Health Organization, but scientists are still working hard to understand more about the virus and its impact – including how the coronavirus affects the body and leads to death.

    A new analysis suggests that a high percentage of people who required help from a ventilator due to a COVID-19 infection also developed secondary bacterial pneumonia. This pneumonia was responsible for a higher mortality rate than the COVID-19 infection.

    So while COVID-19 may have put these patients in the hospital, it was actually an infection brought on by the use of a mechanical ventilator that was more likely to be the cause of death when this infection didn’t respond to treatment.

    “Our study highlights the importance of preventing, looking for, and aggressively treating secondary bacterial pneumonia in critically ill patients with severe pneumonia, including those with COVID-19,” says Benjamin Singer, a pulmonologist at Northwestern University in Illinois.

    The team looked at records for 585 people admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, also in Illinois. They all had severe pneumonia and/or respiratory failure, and 190 had COVID-19.

    Using a machine learning approach to crunch through the data, the researchers grouped patients based on their condition and the amount of time they spent in intensive care.

    The findings refute the idea that a cytokine storm following COVID-19 – an overwhelming inflammation response causing organ failure – was responsible for a significant number of deaths. There was no evidence of multi-organ failure in the patients studied.

    Instead, COVID-19 patients were more likely to develop ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) and for longer periods. Cases where VAP didn’t respond to treatment were significant in terms of the overall mortality rates in the study.

    “Those who were cured of their secondary pneumonia were likely to live, while those whose pneumonia did not resolve were more likely to die,” says Singer.

    “Our data suggested that the mortality related to the virus itself is relatively low, but other things that happen during the ICU stay, like secondary bacterial pneumonia, offset that.”

    These results suggest that ICU outcomes could be improved if there were better strategies to diagnose and treat VAP episodes – something that the researchers say needs to be addressed in the future.

    It’s worth bearing in mind that if a patient’s requirement for a ventilator to treat COVID-19 complications leads to VAP, this doesn’t imply that a COVID-19 infection is less dangerous, nor does it decrease the number of COVID-19 fatalities.

    As the authors write in their paper, “The relatively long length of stay among patients with COVID-19 is primarily due to prolonged respiratory failure, placing them at higher risk of VAP.”

    But the findings highlight a need for further study and to be cautious when making assumptions about the cause of death in COVID-19 cases. A detailed molecular analysis from the same study should reveal more about what makes the difference between recovering or not from VAP.

    It’s also another example of how machine learning artificial intelligence can process vast amounts of data and spot patterns beyond us mere humans – whether it’s analyzing proteins or advancing mathematics.

    “The application of machine learning and artificial intelligence to clinical data can be used to develop better ways to treat diseases like COVID-19 and to assist ICU physicians managing these patients,” says Catherine Gao, also a pulmonologist at Northwestern.

    The research has been published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation.

    This open border disaster is not a “Johnny-come-lately” story. It is a plan that was created many decades ago by leftist radicals intent on destroying America.

    I should know. I was there. I am a witness.

    I am a blue collar S.O.B. (son of a butcher) from the wrong side of the tracks- a poor majority-black town on the Bronx borderline. I attended almost all black middle school and high school in Mt Vernon, New York. After I graduated Valedictorian, I was accepted at prestigious Ivy League Columbia University.

    What I found there shocked me to the core.

    Columbia University was filled with spoiled-brat, “Lucky Sperm Club,” privileged white kids who were obsessed with hatred for America. These radical nutjobs bragged about being communists and Marxists. They bragged about their hatred of white people (even though they were white themselves). They bragged about hating rich people (even though they were from rich families themselves).

    This was one gigantic guilt trip. My classmates hated themselves, their country, their parents, their wealth, and most of all- their whiteness.

    They talked all day long about their plans to bring America down; destroy the economy; bankrupt white businessmen; and create “equality and fairness” by turning America into a socialist/Marxist/communist country.

    It’s important to note that one of my classmates at Columbia was Barack Obama.

    My classmate Barack Obama and I graduated on the same day in Spring of 1983. This very month is the 40th anniversary of our Columbia graduation.

    These Columbia University radicals (and traitors) had a plan named Cloward-Piven. It was named after two Columbia University professors- the husband-and-wife team of Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven.

    The plan was actually simple- get everyone possible in America on welfare, food stamps and a hundred other government welfare programs. Get so many on the government dole that the economy is overwhelmed, destroyed and collapses under the weight of the exploding national debt.

    Basically, America goes bankrupt.

    At this point, Americans would be in so much pain and so frightened, they would beg government to save them. And that is how they would “fundamentally change America forever.” Remember those words? They came out of the mouth of Barack Obama. He learned those words and this plan at Columbia.

    Because of the collapse of the economy and society, Cloward and Piven believed America would be ready for socialism- bailouts, a permanent welfare state, and a monthly universal income check.

    The goal? Equality, equity, social justice. Recognize those words? Everyone would be in the same boat- dependent on Big Brother for survival.

    Except Cloward-Piven has been updated. It’s now 100% about the border. If you can’t get everyone in America on welfare to explode the debt, overwhelm the economy and collapse the country, open the border and invite the whole world in.

    The world is filled with such terrible, miserable poverty, Americans can’t even imagine it. The poor in America are rich, compared to the rest of the world. And that is why the whole world is coming. They know the border is open. The whole Africa is coming. The whole Middle East is coming. China is sending millions of military age males. Haiti is coming. Latin America is coming. Prisons are being emptied. An invasion of America is underway.

    If you were poor…if you were starving…if you had nothing…if you were a criminal…if you were sick…if you were pregnant…if you had ten kids…if you were a child with no future…wouldn’t you come to America?

    Trust me, everyone is coming.

    They all know the border is open. They know they get free money, and all kinds of welfare checks, cell phones, plane tickets wherever they want to go, free legal help, free school and free medical. Wouldn’t you come?

    What if a hundred million come? What if a half billion come? What if a billion come? There is nothing stopping them.

    They will tip us into mass poverty, crisis, anarchy, a crime wave you can’t even imagine. They will bring disease. The schools and healthcare systems will collapse. The national debt will explode, the budget will be overwhelmed, the economy will collapse.

    This is Cloward-Piven updated for 2023.

    It all happened because Democrats (ie socialists, Marxists and communists) rigged and stole a presidential election. Then they banned even the mention of rigged and stolen elections- with the full cooperation of mainstream media and social media.

    For the next two years they opened the border to let millions in. Now they’ve managed to end Title 42 for the final explosion that ends America and American exceptionalism forever.

    Trust me, a brain-dead zombie puppet with diapers and dementia is not the brains behind this brilliant plan.

    This is the Cloward-Piven plan that I learned at Columbia. And the man carrying it all out to perfection is the real President of the United States- Barack Obama. He is back for his third term to finish the job he started- to “fundamentally change America forever.”

    And I would not be surprised if the next phase of the plan is to replace corrupt, mentally-failing Joe Biden with Michelle Obama in 2024. That would be Obama’s 4th term.

    Soros-funded DA Alvin Bragg announced in April he was upending the law and charging President Trump with 34 felonies in a “catch and kill” scheme. This is also called a non-disclosure agreement. It occurs when two parties agree to not discuss publicly a certain issue. It often includes a payment to one of the parties.
    This is all Alvin Bragg has on Trump. The New York DA is now counting on a jury of local communists to find Trump guilty. This shouldn’t be too hard in New York City. For the record, this case has been tossed from every other court that tried to bring charges against Trump.

    Several Democrat cities across the United States that have defunded their police departments are suing Kia and Hyundai due to manufacturing cars that are easily stolen.

    The City of Baltimore has sued both Hyundai and Kia in federal court for producing cars that lack anti-theft technology.

    In the lawsuit the City of Baltimore is blaming Kia and Hyundai vehicles for making up 40% of car thefts in the city.

    Back in March the city of Milwaukee sued Kia and Hyundai too for creating “nuisance levels of automobile theft” in the city.

    Law enforcement in Loudoun County, Virginia is investigating threatening comments made by a far-left Facebook group according a local news report. The group has targeted parents for bravely speaking out against the Loudoun County Public School’s (LCPS) Marxist agenda.

    The Gateway Pundit previously reported LCPS forced a leftist critical race theory curriculum down children’s throats. Moreover, the group made parents to sign a form promising not to show anyone their curriculum.

    LCPS was also embroiled in a massive scandal where a trans student sexually assaulted a female student in a high school bathroom on May 28th, 2021, but chose to bury the information instead of taking appropriate measures.

    • Parents are going to have to rethink stuff: someone will have to stay home, they’re going to have to give up the idea of 2 incomes.
